Today on Sekulow , we discuss the impact of the progressive movement targeting the education system and specifically Christian students. In Florida, a middle school student wrote that her faith in Jesus is what gave her hope despite a medical condition. Unbelievably, the teacher chose to make the student rewrite that portion of her monologue. Thankfully, the ACLJ was able to assist this student, the matter was quickly resolved, and the teacher will no longer ask students to remove references to Jesus or any religious viewpoints from their work. While this was resolved without legal intervention, this might not always be the case. If your child has had a similar experience, please do not hesitate to contact the ACLJ at https://ACLJ.org/HELP .

Now you will secular Logan Sekulow in a row secular low. We are excited to talk to you what your voice heard. Gives a call 1-800-684-3110.

As you may have heard the open. They were talking about things that may lead the way. The price either the news and heck is apparent you probably dealt with it yourself. A sort of more progressive school leadership and teachers and they woke movement being impressed upon your children in the schools. It's something we all have dealt with his parents and this is a specific ones come out of the ACLJ again back in the 90s we first started I we were dealing with these cases in a much bigger scale because you had situations at hand. Where specifically we would have to take these things in Supreme Court to get decisions made now 20, 30 years later. A lot of times these don't have to go to the courts to be handled very simply with all these resources on ACLJ.org because people took action 20 and 30 years ago for your students and for your kids and for your grandkids. We appreciate that one came out of Florida.

Just this month. It's pretty interesting.

This is for me.

Middle school in Florida give up.

We protect all often will protect the student protect even the school because the school took action and did the right thing so will protect their identity. Just purely for the sake of the student for the for the teak program for the teachers, but for the school of this in Florida, a middle school student had to do a monologue part of the drama course will your drum right yeah I know all about his assignments, yet I would wait. Many wills place you didn't stay through all of them, though you know they were a lot of you know why our high school place so long I don't know why we have why we would be that intermission. I said necessary right. But in this they had a monologue you were supposed to write about yourself so personal monologue not in character, not anything like that. You are supposed to create this about yourself and tell about some of your vulnerabilities in this particular monologue was written by student. She addressed the hardship of her medical or his their medical condition, so their medical condition monologue you did with the discussion from the teacher who asked how can you be so happy with this condition which the student then replied. I feel Jesus accepts me for who I am. That's what keeps me going every day and that was a big no-no in the public school system because this teacher well I had some rules in her rules not only completely unconstitutional. Yes, I was a kid. You don't abandon your freedoms before walking schoolhouse doors but specifically was told they don't fly here. My school my my classroom.

Sorry you allow to bring your religious personal talk about yourself personally but leave out the most important part. The teacher had the student rewrite the assignment with no religious reference.

Because of this classroom policy that the teacher explained. I also have guidelines about ethnic and racial stereotypes which are part of my explanation to students if they ever write something that could be offensive to someone's belief system. If you make a religious reference it could offend a student. So not only is there a no religious reference policy, which is against the First Amendment of the constant action that your dad has defended. We had a rose is heard but also compares it to racial or ethnic stereotypes policy by just having a religious reference and in this a positive religious reference of that help someone with a specific medical condition get true they look real talk about this a lot more what's going on in the schools we fought back with school choice initiatives.

We rolled out last year during the covert IT crisis and whatnot all schools are even open right up her sleep. Your start to reopen simply to start treatment is towards the school year book. I know you probably dealt with this as well.

Euro public school even in private schools. I want to hear from you. 1-800-684-3110 tells about your stories and what you did to fight back you want to hear from you, or if you've any questions about these specific policies. Maybe you dealt with it and he decided not to push back as you thought they did.

They knew they their right there their guns out there right, but they work.

One 800 684 30 what to give us a call right now the more secular the American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that.

We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we do. Simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you. You forgive today online ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition life will show you how you are personally and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ Jesus were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the prone life in many ways your membership is empowering the right question for copy mission life today online ACLJ/Bill Gates said that is in Washington DC were talking about this current issue with sort of the wool progressive push in public schools and heckle say this in private schools as well. Be careful your private school student, your friends will student still look through his materials as looks of habits we hear stories all the time are four lines of lit up. Discuss what allowed you but a lot of similar situations. What happened here in Florida. To recap in Florida during the drama class acting class you during a drama in their middle school in Florida middle school, Florida students rest repair monologue – prepare monologue based on their own personal situation. In this this particular monologue was written by the student who addressed the hardship of their medical condition was say this right make sure that we get it right. Can we protect the identity on hear the monologue ended with a discussion it was. How can you be so happy with this condition. The speaker answered. I feel Jesus accepts me for who I am and that's what keeps me going and then we had the response from the teacher saying sorry, no religious talk in my classroom will want to make anyone uncomfortable, and therefore even though this is part of your complete right you can't talk about Jesus here even in this sort of a passing course. What happened got ACLJ.org they find out all this information, they take it to the principal and to the school and guess what, no longer having an issue. That's right in because we have the extensive knowledge and an workload in this area. When a family like this comes the ACLJ. A lot of times it's just an assistance. We don't even have to represent them illegally before I had the school board or a demand letter.

So in this instance, we were able to give the information to the parent. The parent can then go to the in this case it was the vice principal, who immediately agreed the teacher's personal guidelines for the classroom were in clear violation of the school board policy. This is a good wit ACLJ's able to assist the family good when the quick not a demand letter needed here and we get the right outcome and we been fighting for students for 30 years that it's something that people don't maybe understand exhibiting here as much of the talking about these things because like we did the hard work 30 years ago to get these cases taken care of. 20 years ago. Obviously, if a case comes up.

We need to take it one step forward. Therefore, yet ACLJ but their real man-hours goes into this kind of content and were able to provide the people, guess what, then it be a big steak. I was they were talking about it they took it to the head of the school and got taken care of immediately because they're able to get a document Hannah go clearly were violating the students rights both done. Moving on, but we are seeing this continually will you probably would want to Planned Parenthood. We have to go Planned Parenthood has been the schools for for also for decades and decades will talk about that coming up that they had we been doing this for years and even every leader last year pivoting to our school choice edition and so many days cases living along really is settled on these issues because of the work to be done over the last several decades, but look. That doesn't mean the law is automatically applied in this goes back to your point about parental involvement. We preach this on this broadcast very pretty frequently. Your rights can only be implemented if you are involved in your students education fully agree with you, loving. That's true whether it's no public or private education.

You've got to know what's in the curriculum. You gotta know your rights, and by the way, if you don't know what your rights are.

We can help with that as well. Under the resources tab@aclj.org you can find that information.

But here's the reality sometimes even when you know your rights even when you present them you are going to have to take action to protect your students. That's when you can fill out the form for legal assistance and like will set doesn't always mean running to court. Sometimes that means us just getting involved in informing the school exactly what that settled law is that we fought for Logan I just say this, but at what we were privileged to have engaged in those fights that they only make a difference when the parent actually a leader allows us to assist or when they actually know that these kind of situations are happening and as well the experience that the ACLJ has dealing with these when it's a child relationship with a school sometimes a parent may be hesitant, like I don't want to put my child out there is that as the politico child for fighting back against the school district because that can be a difficult waste a lot of times kids had to stay in those schools.

That's why a lot of times it is just a parent getting the information going to the administrator that can help and when they see the information. It's a quick change and there's no pressure and that's why once again you said the identity of the student in the story is very much guarded and there's not a lot of details about the individual because we want to provide information and help in the most careful way possible to ensure that it still a good education experience for the child going forward it will do that.

If you have a issue you think there could be. Specifically, these type of topics that the ACLJ covers is that it's a good ACLJ.org/help. And guess what you be connected with an attorney pretty much immediately. Hear from them for having these kind of issues and like there certain things RC within the scope of our business and their somethings are not within the scope with the ACLJ does guess what also. This may sound like an infomercial, but when you do that you connect with a lawyer you have no cost to you. That's what we've ACLJ members. That's why people who support the Americans and flow just as that's where were in a matching challenge right now is when you get that $10 becomes $20 was on magic and on the other side it goes to pay for this type of work so the burden doesn't fall on his parent says I don't want my kid to have to suffer consequences because they say I got Jesus in my heart you know that that is really where were living right now inserted the whole society. Again, you probably seen it on the news you pricing Christian schools that are even doing this type of thing you're still a freedom of speech there still a freedom of expression and we can talk about it we could discuss it. We can also get legal real legal help, whether it's as will set sometimes in civil is sending a letter which is what this was sending a letter over even for the actual parent to say here the resources here, the facts were able to do that connect with teachers connect with everyone. Connect with students is a balance of always want. I want to protect students that think they are the ones who suffer the consequences are allowed parents who can't read through every material of their kids again. I feel those people who have to trust the public school to do their job. But when a parent is enough gumption to stand up and say there's a problem here. You gotta give it to them. We gotta help and help them out a lot and well you brought up this situation Planned Parenthood that something that were also dealing with constantly which is a doctor, they should in the schools on stuff that you feel is inappropriate and that you have control. As a parent to decide somewhat at least what your kid learns I've heard crazy stories. I've been a part of crazy stories of the school kids in school there.

Sometimes they come out with stuff and I'm having to explain things late at night as my kids. Of all the flavor they have a random question that throws me shirt.

Though she was a parent, a completely off guard. Catch you off guard and you know where you're going with it because they heard something in school, maybe some curriculum that even the school did even though they were teaching had that happen as well. A lot has a sign up for the services they get a curricula get a book that's available, especially online services of your students are now virtual, or even of their doing online programs and their learning about things that you would never expect and Planned Parenthood. As always in the public school and this was an interesting one, because they the school board we recite put out a letter to parents and pay plan. Parents come to speak just give you guys a heads up. You can sign a permission letter. You almost doing their due diligence that Harrington hey well okay it's fine they can be talking about abortion and what this is in New York last year. This is the Clarence Central school district. The director of health invited Planned Parenthood to give a presentation on their services offered. So as you said that a permission slip goes home because this is Planned Parenthood coming to speak and it it list to the parents that the presentation covers information about STI's getting tested birth control and many other services will be mentioned so they get kind of a broad caveat at the well. The parent added question is this is a land that everyone knows Planned Parenthood's number one source of income.

So the parent always said I want to see the presentation and I want to know if this is covered she was denied by the director of health by the superintendent and by the principal while she reached out to the ACLJ ACLJ stepped in and gave her our memorandum on parental rights which you can find ACLJ.org and also gave her information about the parents right to know, under the protection of pupil rights amendment P PRA US code 20, section 1232H and she went back the school board then gave her the information. Guess what was covered abortion course and she pushed and said you know what you actually need to amend this permission slip because this is a big deal and parents may decide to to sign it or not, based off of this and they agreed. They said okay you know what we've been having this presentation and never had a problem but you're right will add this to it.

So that's a small win, even though they don't want Planned Parenthood this early in the school indoctrinating felt it away as it sadly the truth and instead you brought this up, the school may not even know what's in these things, they may just be so scared and intimidated a lot of time to double the school. They don't necessarily want to get involved in censoring religious speech or bringing Planned Parenthood but they're so scared that ends up backfiring on them because they decide to try to protect everybody try to protect her own self-interest and ends up blowing up in their face. Yet sometimes the school's hostile log, and other times they just don't know the law and or their being intimidated by someone else with an agenda look a lot of time to school. Yeah a lot of time to school was actually grateful when they are armed by the law when we can sell them then and now, not only do you have this option.

You're actually obligated under the law to provide this freedom many times are very happy to to obligate you take because of this comes at one 800 684 30 when Ted got hold right now I'm good get to you coming up in the next segment is the rental about some other topics as well. The second half hour of secular. We appreciate all your tribal names.

I really think this is important topic of today with all dealt with and if you're young parent you've dealt with in a drawer. I dealt with it as well.

I would hear your stories your thoughts or comments or concerns. What 100 684-3110 will be right back with more on secular support. The ACLJ ACLJ.only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally support, and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ Jesus were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist the ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the pro-life discover the many ways your membership is powering the right to life question Frank called mission life today online ACLJ/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100.

This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we do. Simply would not occur without your generous support in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you. You forgive today online ACLJ secular get this Logan Sekulow will hate that that we are talking about all of what's going on in the schools will allow to call the go ahead lead with those with good first Joanna was calling in Florida with your issues in the a lot of people are dealing with Joanna Gauthier out greater light and he checked my And Pete related over the electron test that that comfort getting on current occasional pain and heal it, causing the riot and follow our uncomplicated mouth. There is doubt that you know what the Democrats had to step in and rescue the United State. That's 1/5 grader public school in Florida also where you have of your base, your student body is probably their families likely voted for Pres. which is just just looking at the pure numbers here and that's in Florida that's an issue that's come up.

These are not again as well. Said isolated to the space it will bring up the specific issues but it's a Planned Parenthood presentation, or whether that is the situation in Florida with the drama coach or drama student to teacher or bringing these up specifically because these are the real issues are hand, but they're not isolated everywhere and there in your public school there in your private school is not just about the political opinion which by the way I have it. I do a bit pretty big problem with that.

Look at your school.

See if they have even policies. A lot of times they do their social media policies as well that there keeping their teachers under but guess what. Sometimes those are policed. Maybe you need to do some of the policing there as well.

Keep an eye on what people post. Yeah, I've seen it happen in the schools are valid given associated with over the years working on this for 30 years. There a lot of times as they pointed out, the school is unaware of what's going on.

The school didn't do the simple Google search of the people that they hired that is truly what happens in a lot of schools across our country. It's easy to have a resume that a little slick presentation but then they would know what Joe did a little quick dive to see who this person was checked out the social media really is a Gobi, not only dodging kids politically maybe into of using things that are not even accurate.

Look, I've heard of stories here locally where you had fifth and sixth graders who were told the moon landing was faked from their teachers and look angry with that, however, guess what historical fact. At this point that the moon landing happened to get some people fired up today will I know I know going into the moon landing under specifically say there are teachers out there that are going rogue their teaching their students things that are absolutely absurd and are conspiracy theories on both sides and how we can we stop politicizing the public school system, yet baby Planned Parenthood should be in the schools witness other better ways to teach about it out, sexual education, that having Planned Parenthood. The leader abortion provider just bringing controversy to your school for the heck of it. Maybe there are better ways to do this and that's what we in the ACLJ do is create better ways.

We also provide you with a lot of different options and that's one of things renewable school choice, public elections have consequences. Last year we talk about school choice. It was a big deal.

It was something that was happening. We are moving forward opposite were still moving forward on it, but there are certain political parties and political politicians don't seem to be too keen on the fact that a student in their education outweighs a teacher in their union yeah honestly what I think is really important to lay the initiative were talking about today against that backdrop, the backdrop of school choice schedules we come out of this pandemic. There are more and more parents across the nation who do want greater choice and where their student gets an education and Logan. We talked about this several weeks ago, but when the last covert stimulus bill was passed one of the provisions that was snuck into that bill was actually a prohibition on any states making a change in their tax code that would reduce tax revenue.

Now that sounds very complicated money when it is put into this. What if a state out there decides that they want to push forward a school choice, provision, and maybe provide tax credits for scholarship so that parents can have choice aware there student where their child goes to school Logan that will be prohibited for the next four years because it will be interpreted as a state tax cut.

We are in court right now there's any hearing next week in Ohio where Ohio has challenge this provision, Logan. We filed a brief on behalf of 74 members of Congress 19 senators 55 members of the house arguing that this is constitutional, and this is one of the main reasons if states want to provide school choice Logan they ought to be able to do it. That is an authority that is reserved to the states and come next week it's gonna be on the docket in Ohio and were to be in court alongside members of Congress fighting for it, absolutely look really good that Ricky talk about this American move and other topics. What I was going on in Iran were talking about serve the US dealings with Iran remove Fords with forward with that in the next segment, that was reset the show but I do want to talk specifically about this. We got a lot of calls come in and I know some of you guys were on hold for lack of your talk if you want to call them right now. One 800 684 31 to 10 in one 800 684 31 Ted be on the air.

Give a gift today online ACLJ live Washington DC secular low Logan Sekulow is Logan Sekulow, joined by Will Hays that. Now what occurred was Smith usually is like to be here and really talk about was happening with the US in their dealings with Iran. How quickly things have moved in the last four months. Pretty wild room talk about that, not when we do it some phone calls was that call God, we lose a RI will move forward move forward topics you do have a question related to school choice or related to any issues you had to serve the local public school teachers maybe indoctrinate your kids in a way that you know feels appropriate still to hear from you gives a call what he hundred 684 31 Ted will all deal with that little bit later but right now will let's pivot to what's going on in our dealings as as you said the Iran nuclear deal, something that we talked about feeling we've talked about of the last 25 years, but we had for years where things are going okay and stuff a shift well there is a little bit of an update because we talked earlier in in last week. Also about the talks in Vienna where the United States is there and having indirect talks with the uranium's through the other nations that were part of the JCP away. We talked about how this is not a good idea for us to get back into but how it does seem that the Biden administration is dead set on getting back into this deal with the Iranians and we also learned that the Iranians were now enriching uranium at 60%, as opposed to the 5% set by the JCP OA which is just a short jump away from 90% which is weapons grade uranium. At that point west.

Maybe you can discuss this intimate we've heard about this deal for long time.

It goes back and forth. Why is America.

Put yourself in the shoes of of the Biden administration widely think this is a positive thing. This is something we have to do is America to get into this deal with Iraq you know it defies logic really does I think and and it's crazy that they would put national security and affects you the peace of the world at stake for this, but it has to do with their narrative that somehow they accomplish this great in a geopolitical achievement during the Obama ministration Nick Price said yesterday that the US and Iran have a common goal of restoring the Iran nuclear deal, even though that deal is a strategic blunder. It does not stop Iran on his pathway to a new clip.

It delayed it for 10 years.

It does not demand that they stop exporting terrorism never mentioned it in the agreement. It doesn't restrict their research and development on ballistic missiles which what they is what they need to carry a nuclear weapon.

Even though the United Nations has said you can't do that. Not mentioned that yet. JCP, OA, and of course there's no requirement in the agreement that Iran stop calling for the absolute destruction of everyone who live in the nation of Israel. None of that is there. So it defies common sense and yet a coordinated price. The Biden State Department. We are in agreement with the Rand that it needs to be restored and one other quick thing I want to read to you this is from Pres. Ronnie overran America and the world will have to kneel before our great nation and give up their oppressive sanctions. Indeed, we have moved a step forward and achieved a great victory. The people who impose sanctions on us are fully admitting that now due to the steadfastness of our people. The sanctions in the pressure have led nowhere. That's their President and yet we are negotiating with the way that is hilarious. It sounds like you're talking with the dozens like a real quote you a real insight from a movie that you would not take seriously that someone would write it.

You go we'll know for later would actually say this, but these are the kind of countries that you're dealing with a kind of leadership you're dealing with, and we are just there, bowing down to them once again in this reminds me of what we talked about even with the border likely won't say the thing you know the magic word of crisis we get caught up in these like to get like that their narrative that make no logical sense.

Don't support our allies adult support anything that were doing here in America but it sounds nice to say, we came up with an agreement when really these are 1 Way St. restricting ourselves and inevitably going to hurt me look I said this before what was going to happen. Coming up here.

Here we saw Isis get destroyed. We saw the Middle East call for four years. Abraham core the Abraham Acuna guess what's back what's back statements like that and leadership don't understand how to take the Middle East seriously.

This is where were dealing with is what you have to keep an eye on it to protect ourselves if you could get rough. Watch out ACLJ.R reflect back to ACLJ.org right now some phone calls are coming in right now and I would hear from you as well. 164 the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission life will show you how you personally and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ Jesus were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist the ramifications of weighing 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to discover many ways your membership is powering the right question for mission life today online ACLJ/secular Logan Sekulow Bill Haynes they been in Washington DC and Col. West met. We are talking about will in a run in the new Iran nuclear deal as it is to the site do they they redrafted the rework. It is this just goes right back to the Obama era policy. Well, what it does seem, is that the Iranians are going to get a lot of sanctions relief if they if the Biden ministration does get back into this deal, but we have that bite from that price it's a spokes person for the State Department at when asked about this by a reporter. So let's go ahead and play bite to any comments on it on the intestine will hone his comment. He said today that the talks in the end, I have list by about 60 to 70%.

He added this Americans act within the framework of honestly honesty will achieve results in a short time. Well before I get to that, I would say generally that the talks have continued in Vienna as we now United States and Iran. We have together a stated common objective of returning to mutual compliance with the JCP away West that was just from that price, I dedicate here right now is we to give you headphones with a smile.

It's on us. He said that we were coming together stated common objective returning to mutual compliance with the JCP away again. I keep hearing mutual compliance and I can't help but think the mutual side of this, it is not go both when you know it is not mutual in not only that, even if it were mutual essay, a Rand really going come to the plate. Now they have a long history, even with the original JCP away of cheating on it. They were hiding their nuclear research and development underground.

Israel went in and found a warehouse full of documents under R&D for nuclear weapons made the list goes on and on. They are not credible people to deal with. They've lied and cheated for all of these years that were going and acting like they are honest brokers and in their absolutely not in now in Vienna were these talks have been going on indirectly. The EU announced yesterday that they are establishing 1/3 working group, which will sequence how we are going to relief sanctions. We also explained that to what's going on in Vienna so in Vienna we have these advocates that you hearing you talk say in Vienna what's happening at BSO Indiana. We have these indirect talks that are going on between the United States is talking with the other members of the JCP away so that would be Russia, China, the European Union members of those countries and then those countries are also having direct talks with Iran but because United States and Iran are not at a level where we will directly talk they're having their is called shuttle diplomacy, where the talk with one side, they'll run over Intel. The Iranians something that said they'll respond.

It's basically like a nuclear game of telephone is so it's pretty dangerous. If you can imagine that a high-stakes of this game, but that's what's going on in and into call back to what what Wes had mentioned and what also the question to the spokes department is State Department spokesperson was that Hassan Ronnie, the President of Iran said the tocsin of Vienna have progressed about 60 to 70%. So about the same as their enrichment of their uranium and if the Americans act within the framework of honesty, we will achieve results in a short time. When you couple that statement where the Iranians are coming from this position of strength.

Now that they didn't have for the last four years with what Ned Price said when he referred to common mutual compliance. A common objective of mutual compliance actually seems like our government is placing us on the same level as the Iranians instead of us saying Irani absolute stop doing bad things and will live sanctions. It says we want to come to a common objective of mutual compliance, basically saying were not in compliance either. So let's just get back to even. In figure this out.

I can't. I can't take that when it's that way you know exactly what were dealing with here.

This is not this kind of relationship should be this kind of let you know in it. Here's the thing. The real bottom line.

Logan is this will absolutely even if they go back to it. It will not stop around from getting a nuclear weapon and they arty are doing the research and development. They launch satellites into the atmosphere so they have the ballistic technology to deliver the weapon and this will do nothing to stop it. But let's say for the sake of argument let's say they got rid of all the centrifuges and they they really said were going to be a honest broker in this thing on this partner even if they got rid of what they've done so for the enriched uranium that they're stockpiling, and all the extra centrifuges to enrich uranium. There's no way to take away from them. The technical capability and the knowledge with that learning to last year so they can still go a go immediately to research and development and produce a nuclear weapon and just last week at nuclear experts, including those on the International Atomic Energy Agency agency said that the breakout time for rant because of all that the research they've done and how they cheated over the last several years, the breakout time for them to go from ground from from a 0.2 producing one nuclear bomb has gone from 18 months to a matter of a few months. That's where we are today effort political theater at some point they could inevitably hurt us yes and it will inevitably hurt hurt the American people potentially if we continue on this for us to make it just seem like were rushing into agreement that stated what Joe Lieberman said.

Actually that's going to hear from Joe Lieberman to summarize everything I'm trying to tell you here on secular today by 23 more that we are once you reach an agreement. Have a bad agreement that will compromise our security and the security of our allies in the region, including most of their role displaces most of the Arab world and Israel are allies in risking it, risking their protection and inevitably our protection because it sounds nice on paper and that's where you have to stop and just look at this from a big picture and say why is this important and that's I brought that up. Why is this is the number one thing we gotta jump back into because their plan is to reverse everything has been done the last four years in which could sit is right back into a spiral. The Middle East yeah and you know it used to be that our big concern was the security of Israel that God will get his usual now, but it's also the Arab nations in the Gulf states there.

They have become truly allies to us and allies with Israel and they know that their security is also on the line. Plus, if Iran gets a nuclear weapon, then you have yet to the proliferation issue so that the other Gulf states in order to protect themselves. It will also pursue nuclear weapons. This is this is the beginning of some dominoes falling truly truly are our strategic blunder. As I said, and yet it appears the United States State Department that my demonstration is intent on doing this right and there are ways we can fight back then and there are things that are happening right now on Capitol Hill that are that are being introduced what you tell people what they can do notice what they could do but what will they support politically. Can we set elections have consequences, and sometimes your point of view is not in the majority, but there are people always there fighting for a lot of our voices will I think on this issue.

Loving you got a look at lawmakers who are willing to look at the facts on the ground.

The fact that Wes is been laying out because like I think this administration has already decided to rejoin this dealing is a foregone conclusion what's happening now in Vienna is just political theater. Think of Jeep what you call that I certainly agree with that were at today, literally. Maybe as we speak.

Logan is about to start. As we came on air, our own Mike Pompeo former Secretary of State is on Capitol Hill actually partnering with the chairman of the House Republican study committee, Jim Banks, who by the way also is co-leading that brief. We talked about in our file with us to a good friend of this broadcast. They are introducing Logan a piece of legislation called the maximum pressure act essentially what it would do.

It was, it would codify the sanctions that were put in place under the Trump administration Outlook. It can't pass without the President support, but here here's the truth, Logan.

Here's why it's important that Sec. Pompei was there and advancing the mission.

This has to get in front of the American people. They have to see the plain truth.

The facts on the ground and the fact that this administration is decided to rejoin the JCP away without any facts. Logan that I think that's the importance of today's announcement on Capitol Hill chairman we can post about that kind explain the people what's going on, they would hear from Pompeo himself, specifically allies for them. Sure, we can try to get… I do want to say this. If you have your voice on this is simply how the bite administration is handling are dealing with the Middle East yet one more segment coming up after this and I want to hear from you. That's right, 1-800-684-3110 Highfill by the ministrations been doing the last three months of terms, the Middle East seen any flareups see the issues I think we all have that we ought to speak to that.

Well, that I had somebody wanted to say yeah I did just want to ask Van because sometimes on these issues. What is national security in Iran we can see some bipartisan support.

Is there any chance of getting some members of the house to join this bill that are Democrats. I know that it's it's an uphill battle because you need it's knocking to get past a vetoproof majority to override a veto of the President, but could we see some Democrats join in with this common sense language you know honestly it's an uphill battle in this atmosphere. I think you do have member members of the Democrat party in the house that agree with it philosophically will but there can be delivered a lot of pressure from the Biden ministration. I don't think it's probably likely to actually happen, but look, even if it doesn't, their voters need to know where they stand on this and the value will I think it's important talk.

Republicans and Democrats because remember it was a Republican Senate that disarmed itself on the original deal. All right area for the man himself.

That's this is where it says to locate. Sometimes these things don't go very far but at least you have your voice be heard by someone just make the President present Biden certainly will hear from you and then he was to hear from you and I would hear from you about his work in the Middle East right now to give me a call 1-800-684-3110 telephones.

1-800-684-3110. I want to hear your voice on the air will grab only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn.

It's called mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. Given our phones. Her work today. Obviously, 100 684 30 what that try to get some of these calls it, it's up about this issue and also it still dealing with how the ACLJ work specifically with helping out students and teachers list. Let's take that call about Carolyn's but hold for a long time and they will move on some more topics on the lot. He gets called about specifically, the Middle East and Iran lets out the back to the first segment of the show. We talked about was going on was sort of the what public school teachers and how we been working at this got the last few months of last year/30+ years and Carolyn you're on the air that the better one. We got into trouble with our high school over that we had permission to have walked into the meeting breaking up. Do not do this again or we will I reach I told him to my grandparents what happened they reach out to ACLJ which is back in the 90s Jay Sekulow lived there really you did not write this in terms of plaintiff to go if you had that kind of a problem anyway. I reached out a fiancé and I got involved. The school backed off, I don't be afraid to ask ACLJ for help if you see this happening with your school blunders not just saying that they don't charge for their services and they are willing to help it if it's something my think there is actually an issue they are willing to help. Thank you so much Caleb for your first response. We appreciate your support over the years as well. Obviously we personally appreciate all the work they are you done and in when you have something like this when you do go back 1520 years, we now people who are adults who were kids in there seeing the issues.

The problem is that a lot of these things I said to Bible study. We are able to take care of it then because it is already even settled law 15 years ago. Why because we took the Supreme Court in the early 90s is your dad won the case.

Right right won the case. The early 90s, but still 30 years later I was like 91. 30 years later, they were not quite 91 early 90s we are able to look at it in their still uninformed people who are running the schools need to be taught the facts of what the law is because this is all settled law and I we appreciate Carolyn a calling it a talking about that again. The services are free their free because of people like you who support the works again where the middle of magic eyes bill. We are towards the very end of the matching challenge@aclj.org to get me there. Someone on the other hand says if you give $10 on the management of the American's click that case was 1990. See writing I saw was a decision. Oh, you know at me and I know you probably a quick quick search at the case was in 1990 bridge markets is now a she was pretty much adult.

By the time he got its report.

I we still hear from her from time to time, and because of people like her and her parents of people involved.

We are still able to keep the school boards and everyone informed with there's issues like this arise, and when necessary we take him to court and we have lawyers on staff. Some you see a lot you don't. Carolyn said Jay Sekulow was illiterate for his 19th and early 90s he was pretty much yet there's a handful other people. Now obviously we people literally around the entire planet working on these type of issues for kids in America for kids in everywhere you can imagine some we can say some we can. That's because the work at the ACLJ. Let's take a couple more calls before we wrap up some specifically dealing with was going with it on with Iran. How things have changed. Let's go to first Karen in Georgia great state of Georgia cared hello you're there like about why that came with the Democrat that just because Abraham accords were brought about by Tromp, is that why they don't want to really go with it can be a random thing linking that this is not worked in the past. Why think along with it sure stands for this and I do want to push as much. We can look this may be true because the risk they want to disassociate themselves with good or bad policy that comes from either one of the parties. This is where we are. We are so divided this point that if Tromp the Trump administration had a successful thing happen we have to undo it just because it's got his name attached to its pre-outlander shouldn't login that you would have one of our strongest allies around the world and maybe the most important region in the world make peace deals with other neighboring countries in the next administration would be up would be opposed to in one of undo it just because of who did it. I will say I think there's another layer here, the Logan because remember of the original JCP ideal was the Obama Biden administration policy.

So look even before Pres. Trump came on board.

II do think that's probably a factor and then looking to undo it, but this was proactively their position this this position of appeasement and leading from behind around the world.

So I get a very natural pivot back to him. The promise no matter how natural it is Logan.

It's very detrimental to American interests. They would see that all see that that the the general to the policy changes. That's not just what's going on the Middle East now see that the border seen across the board. The idea that we have to abandon successful programs of any administration just do their political differences got a sad state of every heart really is and you know we run the risk with the new Biden administration of of making our other allies in the region feel disenfranchised, if not even betrayed. For example, in this whole change of administrations of the by demonstration has paused the sale of our F 35 fighter planes to United Arab they need those place to defend himself against the hostile rant. We've also Paul's weapon sales to Saudi Arabia, which is the chief enemy of Moran in the region and so it looks like were not only hedges I yeah not only are hedging on our commitment Israel were hedging on some of our key Arab allies in the region in order to somehow get open play caterer ran are to go are doing a lot of those. Those countries are trying they're trying to mend fences. They are trying to bring it to people from Israel UAE into by like the biggest Hanukkah celebration you've ever seen this year because they are trying what they know the tourist body could be humongous misconstrue and also to to try to settle down that region. We celebrate success in that the last four years and it's sad to see that were quickly right back to dealing with this type of situation.

Will you also saw the, the positivity of the Abraham accords you saw movement in other areas as well. You saw the strength of the trumpet ministration by taking out customs will Amani and and other terrorist actors, with the Iranian regime and then what happens now we have what the, the doctrine of consensus that we see that's what Rick Cornell says often on the show that that's with the Biden administration wants they want consensus among people instead of having a cohesive strategy themselves and you see the other nations having to take up the slack.

Like Israel, and they are now having to actively defend their interests because the United States they're not so certain is on their side right now. Absolutely.

Thank you all for joining us this discussion. I think it had a pretty informative show for a lot of you and I hope informed me hope and forget about next Westlake that they swelled joining us today on secular very good time but I want to tell you that hard work needs your support.
