Live from Washington DC on phone lines or questions right now. Call 1-800-684-3110 1681 week as we celebrate everything we are thankful for that with our families, their friends, loved ones.

I know some people have got these unbelievable restrictions that they are supposed to be abiding by so can be a difficult time but it still time to give thanks and we give thanks to our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ.

That's what it's about a Thanksgiving, regardless of who we are able to get together with her if it was a normal Thanksgiving, which it certainly is not and in a time when the countries kind of in turmoil about the election still were involved with that of course the ACLJ in the integrity of of your vote, but I wanted to show you some unique and impactful things. The ACLJ is working on right now in the broadcast this week are gonna focus on some of things we do with the ACLJ and sometimes you might rarely hear about, especially this last year we have impeachment and we had to let an election, and of course that election is kind of still going on is as we speak right now it's in. This is sometimes you don't get the same focus we brought in a lot of new new audience to because of our work on this separately from the ACLJ or Pres. Trump as his attorneys. There's a lot of people who are still learning about what the ACLJ really is all about from taking on early on the deep state from the days of the Obama administration and of course fighting back onto the Trump administration in preparing if necessary to fight back against the deep state under a Biden administration we launch a brand-new program for children. You know, that is, and it's great to get really catlike. Pre-k is on my daughter's account pre-k eight she loves it all the way up to about like 10 years old or so educating them. It's called bald eagle your learn about that in these broadcast during the holiday and all of we also got a lot of updates on protecting the unborn that we have not gotten to recently on the broadcaster, there's a lot you can see it ACLJ.org about all the work were doing all the time at the American Center for Law and Justice.

We want to highlight some of the issues that we maybe didn't get to spend enough time on during this election year. During this time we had so much controversy. Postelection, so let me encourage you.

I really want you to to listen to the shows watch these shows share the shows with your friends and family so that they learn about the ACLJ know this is a critical time for us. The Americans are for Law and Justice because it's the it's the end of our matching challenge month of November that ends November 30 and what a matching challenge month is why it's so important for the ACLJ is that we have a group of donors and a matching challenge month that then agreed before the month begins to match every individual donation that comes through the ACLJ.org so if you make a donation right now it ACLJ.org and you do it because you love the broadcast or you do it because you love the pro-life legal work we do with the government affairs work we do on Capitol Hill or the international work or you just love all of it and then the constitutional protections protect your constitutional rights that we do with the ACLJ in the courts around the country and of course protecting freedom around the world in defending freedom around the world. If if you support towards ACLJ disagree times even thinking about if you're able to to make a financial contribution to the ACLJ why is that what say you could just, you know, we are able to donate $10 right now to the ACLJ that's what you donated ACLJ.org that's all you're charged on your credit card because you did it during a matching challenge month this month in November is effectively doubled set $10 is like $20 for us. The ACLJ $25 is like 5050 is like 100 hundred is like 200 you can do the math you can you understand but it's a great time for us because if you donate were prepared not just for the battles were fighting right now for the battles were prepared to fight in 2021, and we are doing that as we speak right now at the American Cephalon justice to let me encourage you donate now it ACLJ.org be part of our matching challenge will be right back on Jay Sekulow the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who, through their faith covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help in any way comes 100 time for the ACLJ work we simply would not occur as a coordinator matching challenge constitutional and only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life.

We created three powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission like it will show you how you are personally sealed cases powering the right question for you/back to Jay Sekulow this Jordan secularity or phone calls to because this really was the beginning of the battle against the deep status under the Obama administration. So the battle is that much tougher because you didn't have allies at the Department of Justice unit of Ally your fighting the IRS, the FBI try to go after our clients. Sound familiar. Again, they try to after like they still are Mike Flynn, you know the President to draw the same tactics, but they were working together know you mean that memory, I remember the day Washington DC that we were at our DC office and the FBI wanted to interview some of our clients and we said no, we are no longer cooperating with the IRS were going to court right so the negotiating, there was the FBI was a will. They were interviewing wanted to be rocklike because it was any potential wrongdoing they want to get right out of sight. Mike my stress level was zero. At that point let us leave Ireland it was before all this acted 10 years before I recently met with them.

We didn't let them meet with our clients and we said you know were not doing that we are knocking to participate in this because we think it's a charade they would never tell us exactly what the point was exactly what they were looking at lots and we were not to put our clients in that situation.

So what did we do. We went to federal court. You know, we ultimately gonna play the soundbite first and that is the Ira started doing this in 2010. Some talk about 10 years ago, and for over two years, the media thought it was just a silly conspiracy. Barry, this is a bunch of right-wingers. They don't know what they're doing but you know what it ended up resulting in this they use names like tea party or patriots and they selected cases, simply because the application had those names in the time that was wrong.

The IRS like to apologize for that vote first why we said and I'll say again that apology was, not accept, we went to federal court to get justice. That's number one number two they they is what Lois Lerner said she said a tax-exempt that you mean you you came up with a be on the lookout list, a bolo list. So why would bringing it up today because we see the culmination of the last months of all these faux investigations, Moeller and Ukraine in the Russia gate and ends up being nothing what happens each and every time. This is sometimes Congress. Sometimes it's the deep state actors. Here's one where it was not until Pres. was to you. That's why we named the film, targeting us, the people's fight against the IRS and it's available ACLJ films.com or Amazon prime and by the way, if you go to ACLJ films.com or on Amazon prime.

Look it up. You see a lot of movie several movies by the ACLJ, we want to encourage you we do these documentaries want to live in see bits and pieces of it. I hear bits and pieces of it today, but it is definitely worth watching you to learn a lot about what's happening you absolutely mean this is something again.

I want to be a reregister playing that some clips are folks close to it. I mean, just to get a sense if you're listening you're going to get a sense of of what you will be seeing because this is this is visual to but if you're watching Facebook and periscope as well.

We wanted to just come to give you some glimpse into why because again you I go back is like what I'm talking to Sean Hannity about his book and and how sometimes you got it.

You gotta take the time to retell stories because there's so many facts over such a long period of time and you don't want to forget because you don't want history to repeat itself and and we don't want to have to continue battling the deep state forever and answered. Take a listen from the new documentary available@acljfilms.com or Amazon prime.

It's free targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS and guys make sure I tweet out the link right after the show to the debate to our website so the people you see the film targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS. Here's a first video clip the opening sequence of the film is Y would you say tea party cases were very dangerous on the advice of my counsel, I respectfully exercise my Fifth Amendment right and declined to answer that question they are breaking the law or violating our rights. There was some boneheaded decisions on it will no longer ask corruption, not a master, a smidgen was the tip of the iceberg. It was far worse than even we expect the IRS is finally released a list of political something that no one can believe doing way too much. No accountability. Never before has the federal government trying to everyday Americans only because of their political view that is wrong is against Lois Lerner was coming. Fighting the American's the point being is the largest American history. My name is Kevin telling everyone.

Wilson, Carolyn.

Now this this this is called ACLJ film you want to know about the deep state action in a real case and went to real court got a real result. Then go to ACLJ films.com or Amazon prime targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS and by the way you support the work of the ACLJ. Guess what, we get to produce these documentaries were due to documentary on Bronson were working on some of the really great creative content. I can give you the details of it yet but it's something very innovative. That's it impact your family a very good whites were very excited about that content is important to be ACLJ when you're supporting the ACLJ NACLJ Donald especially number them up like this month-to-month matching challenge campaign you're supporting our work in courts around the country. It was multifaceted that this movie is a perfect example targeting us. The people fight against the IRS. The movie was done to educate people about what was going on at the same time. Your donation support. Supporting the movie in the production of the movie.

Guess what else was happening. We were in federal court, winning the case, which we ultimately did so, that is your case that your support to be ACLJ in action. We had our clients testify before Congress your testify before Kaiser we were again this was.

It was a Kevin new a step for the ACLJ because what happened was back in 2012 you started getting all these contacts. These are small groups.

Again, I iconic make the comparison will perhaps thing today or help of these churches on California or parrots with education issues can afford law firms and can afford attorneys to handle these situations. These are small grassroots groups. Just trying to get their legal status so they could fund raise so they could rent buses so they could get insurance things like click and hold events and do so legally. They voluntarily submitted themselves to the IRS oversight they were trying to break the law and we started getting calls and calls and calls the dozens of of specific tea party groups and other conservative groups.

There were being harassed and Ed so that what happened was they weren't being denied they just kept getting more questionnaires and finally, these groups realized with these questionnaires. This is not the normal IRS procedure. This is this is directed us were being targeted looks like, so we better talk to some lawyers, so they got the mayor consider flaw adjusted that we just explained our people they support the work of ACLJ. This was just a load to get to that decision that we read from the IRS. You have the consent order say you can never do this again or else it and admitting the wrongdoing rating for satiating their procedures gutting the IRS as the Washington Post called it really change the hope that now people even view the IRS. These dates right.

It took five years so I beat it took considerable financial those donations accompanied to the ACLJ.

This is five years of work representing America go through the list that we have here is a Colorado 912 project, the American patriots against government access San Antonio tea party Shenandoah Valley tea party Patriots Wetumpka tea party. The OKC PIA association with the Richmond tea party Hawaii tea party Rochester to private this this this goes on for two more pages for five years we represented all the slide out in federal court is of you think your donations don't matter.

Folks, they absolutely do. It is the reason why were able to take down government agencies like the IRS, which we did and why were able to fight so hard against the deep state and really put them under a microscope. What we did.

Because of the work at the IRS, we decided to open up the unit inside the ACLJ. Calder, government affairs unit I'm holding in my hand. The first of the lesson. The first was most recent report that that committee Gibbs on the freedom of information act litigation are Government accountability Project. That's just the beginning and I want to tell you something.

Your support makes this happen so again use. Thank you to all of you for standing with us. So whether it is fighting in court on advisor abuse or whether it is litigating for religious freedom here in the United States around the globe standing up for individuals or targeted by the IRS. Your support of the ACLJ makes all the difference. We had that movie available for you for free ACLJ films.com or on Amazon prime. It's called targeting us people's fight against the IRS, we encourage you to watch it listen to it.

Here's more excerpt from her today and is a good reason to support the ACL data matching challenge campaign yet. Just to remind you about this kind of work these years long battles and the work you were to it on behalf of Lisa's parents right now are able to do it at no cost and were able to take down government agencies and take hold and account for their wrongdoing. Go to ACLJ.org partner matching challenge building today tax-deductible will be right that play more from targeting us only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, freeing powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed. Powering the right question for you/the American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those faith covering correction in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not for that. We are grateful is an opportunity for you to help in any way comes 100 constitutional and compares to a great number so that people just reminding themselves about this IRS scandal, how bad it was that what the ACLJ was able to get justice for so many conservative groups and you we got it we represented the 40+ groups who were willing to find out the IRS, but by waiting we really wanted for so many other groups who maybe were a little bit afraid of taking on the IRS weren't sure if they wanted to get involved in a legal matter.

We see this time. Time to get the ACLJ were people very gung ho with first about your filing lawsuits and things like that and then suddenly when you file a lawsuit. A it's a big deal, even if it doesn't cost you anything. So the victory though isn't just for the 41 clients.

The victory is for every one of those nonprofits out there on both sides of the aisle. They can't be treated like this by the IRS ever again or else they are in serious trouble with the IRS and the IRS admitted to viewpoint discrimination viewpoint targeting, but it all started with these letters and I would play for you so share this with your friends and family Facebook in Paris was a great show to share on Facebook and periscope is very visual and is still good for radio to his audio's excellent this is coming from our documentary and set out on ACLJ films.com or on Amazon prime. It's actually free called targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS. Take a listen because this is how it all started that we will all way through 2011 one of our taxes we would do the right thing. We want good citizens were trying to help them help us nothing until we get into January 2012 to January 2012 I received this letter with the questions and as a first course once we had with them at all and it came out of the boat were to shock to me just came in the mail and then I started to read these questions and that's when things really got interesting time. It was 10 years later we got a letter saying they wanted all this information with the seven-page letter we all knew immediately was not ranked.

We finally get a letter from the IRS telling us that they will not approve our tax-exempt status and lastly answer almost 90 questions and otherwise if you don't answer these taken out 30 questions 77 seven bullets do it. A total of 88 different requirements, litigation for a living against the IRS to show the letter that I got from the IRS. Not only was filled with egregious questions, but it gave me a very short timeline and a window to answer those questions with the paperwork I said I said something wrong here. I don't know what it is. I'm not sure what's going on and this is something's wrong. This is not that they should even be going in this direction at all, and in these questions. Questions about family members of boards questions about donors and activity beyond just the normal list of donors, but with their activities and affiliations were as well so again, that is just how it all started those those letters letters about family members letters about donor list at low letters about content of speeches we think about this. Vince, do you attend like church and political events.

Where do you have a transcript of the speech we know is to see a very local grassroots of your transcript and a video of it.

Even these days for technology it's it's very of these work area grassroots organization and they wanted.

All they wanted. Actually it. Some of the questions they wanted backdoor access to their websites so they could go in and see the the back door of the website to see what was going on, which would give them access to everything the organization done including decisions they made like hey we should be doing this. This would be wrong. So what's up with this website meet that's illegal to make a decision to say discussions you right now it's up that's what they were. They wanted to see if they could bring criminal charges.

You realize that just like they did with Mike Flynn there. Try to find a way, as we found out that with him emails because we got the FBI.

The FBI got involved. How could they bring criminal charges, at least against one of these groups, so they'd all back off in the present, Obama would have to deal with because their idea was if we could get one just one case yet.

One case that goes criminal. That's in the stop always grew from having any kind of influence will scare the witches politically motivated.

Jordan said in the order we got the settlement they said they acknowledge viewpoint discrimination. That is one of the worst forms of discrimination, but like asking for donor list violates the First Amendment United States Constitution, who your relatives spoke with on political campaigns violates freedom of association. What elected officials met violates your members met with violates freedom of association. What petitions you initiated violated the right to petition your government for redress of agreements, but it came to a point where we had to get involved and you know it's interesting as well that when you look at the timeline so 2012 the of the starts the letter start guy we start getting contacted because of what the IRS did you we went public with this those giant rallies on Capitol Hill would be speaking at with senators and members of Congress and grassroots leaders and thousands of people would show up on this of the sound that grounds the capital right for the US capital is being covered by all the news outlets.

Guess what happened in 2014. This backfired on the above administration significantly. Not only the Republicans can't retain control of the House of Representatives. They took back the Senate so for the facet for Pres. Obama's final two years in office. He had absolutely zero ability to pass any legislation but I think is important that how do we get involved so to the groups.

Keep the letters that the ACLJ gets involved yet.

Let's go and play it for years I had watched Fox News and of course Jay is a regular contributor and guest on Fox News and I had always seen the things that ACLJ represented in the fights that they find for people that are unlawfully present in other countries and Christian groups had always admired him so much. So Toby had gone through all the work on that one day she called me and I was at one of the hospitals is working that she's not had any jump on a conference call at such and such time and I might well be on the road at that time that if I call in from the car yet. What is me talking ACLJ and I want now. Several of us on their timeline Casco so I left the place is working and headed on home and I'm going and I 35 and I can remember exactly where I was at and the conference call started and Jay Sekulow comes on. Coming out of the speakers in my car was just like he was on the call, but he just illicitly needed saving from like half an hour okay in these worries are common through the phone line from all these people saying oh yeah they want to know what books we were worrying we want to report work. We wanted to know how many of your board members have ever run for political office and we want their family name the needs of their family members. If any of them for political office and we want to know if their planned run for political office going so well in Jay Sekulow Pro. I'm just said right now. We will represent all of you for this.

This is completely wrong. This is something I've never seen this report before in the ACLJ is going to stand up and fight for you. In this case and that was a huge relief because until then, we were sure how we can fight back without element large conference call was at everybody was being asked the same thing all these different offices. They were trying to shut down that they disagreed with. This is very Mercer's movie is available for free ACLJ films.com. It's called targeting most of the fight against the IRS is also available at Amazon prime, but also support the work of the ACLJ ACLJ never makes all possible. The American Center for Law and just as critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate will be now $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online live from Washington DC. Phone lines are open for your questions right now: 1-800-684-3110 16812 and now time to week as we celebrate everything we are thankful for with our families, their friends, loved ones. I know some people have got these unbelievable restrictions that they are supposed to be abiding by so can be a difficult time but it's still time to give thanks and we give thanks to our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. The American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those faith covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ to support for that. We are grateful. There is an opportunity for you to help in any way becomes 100 time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur constitutional and only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created three powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed.

Powering the right question for you/Jay Sekulow this Jordan secular, so we took so when this became more more public, Congress would start asking questions to not just of IRS officials but of these tea party group leaders. Now this is a decision you have to make his attorneys. You put your clients before Congress and have them testify because her to get nasty questions from Democrats and use that you were really being targeted and try to play it all down and you were trying to really run political organizations that should get these this status things like that and we said you know what the American people need to know how disgusting and gross. The IRS is acting here and how Bob is been trying to cover it up with holder. It is IRS Commissioner McKay risk wishes today go through that for a rear form, and remember holder initially said report. There is wrongdoing here is criminal wrongdoing were to take action yeah then horses action was no accident that Clement was Darius. Anyways, take a listen though because and watch it to get on Facebook and periscope keep sure this your for the feeling is great visually today on the broadcast is were given UI clips from the documents available ACLJ films.com or on Amazon prime. You look for a search for targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS. It's free on both ACLJ films.com or if you got Amazon prime targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS. So here we go, taking our clients before Congress and having them testify. I'm not here in the third floor and I'm not making my Lawrence for mercy.

I'm a born free American woman flying another incident thing going. My government team forgotten your place. It's not your responsibility to look out for my well-being. I want to protect and preserve the American American people across oceans and risk their lives to become a partner, terrified, slipping away, expecting your government states patriotic people. You don't expect this kind of intimidation Republic expect them to be professionals, even if they don't like you are greatly can treat you with some respect there was when I found out I was given the opportunity to testify was a privilege and I was honored to be able to tell the story for 2 1/2 years. The IRS is unlawfully delayed and instructed my application for determination of tax-exempt status by using unconstitutional criteria. The types of questions asked by the IRS included asking me to identify the political affiliation of my mentors and then advise the IRS of my political position on virtually every issue of stewing for good measure. I was asked to identify those whom I train and I informed the federal government in detail what I am teaching my students considering that the mission of my organization is devoted to mentoring young people some of whom are minors. Can you imagine the reaction of the students parents were I to turn over the names of their children to the IRS and to what end is it not conceivable that I would be sued for the IRS threatened to audit the parents of those students.

Yet my failure to comply with the stunning inquiry would result in the denial of my application for subject me to perjury. You understand I mean these these individuals testified before the United States Congress because the rights have been violated here and unfortunately conduct conference takings taking all very seriously.

But to say something about the clients here and to all of them you're hearing from a lot of them today.

It takes a lot of willpower a lot of guts to subject yourself to federal litigation.

Even if your plaintiff and they did it and they did because they were concerned about the impact this was it have on their country. They were concerned about their families. They were concerned about their nation. They were concerned about their communities and the American Center for Law and Justice because of your support for our work is able to not only produce this great film that again called targeting us. The people fighting is the IRS bill but ACLJ films.com or Amazon prime.

Either way, but also bring you this broadcast litigate the case, start a Government accountability Project. All of this takes place because of our support.

The support you give us. So I want to encourage you to go to ACLJ.org and support the work of the ACLJ in our matching child's camping but also let's put back on the screen again.

You need to watch this movie enfolds called targeting us and is by our ACLJ film team.

It's screaming now on ACLJ films.com and also on Amazon prime so we can get it to anybody in the world that has Amazon prime see this movie see the work that our clients did the work that we did the work you work supporting so continue to support the work of the ACLJ wanting to call Jim Hunter from Texas outline three Jim welcome to Jay Sekulow live, you are on the air guys. Thank God for you that you're out there.

We all knew this played out with God on my question is what punitive actions can be taken against these departments, i.e., Eric Holder, Susan Rice, what, when are they going to answer for what they do instead of just giving us an oops, I'm sorry. Give us an oops, I'm sorry. We got an injunction. A declaratory action that also made them change all the policies in a companion case that was filed in Ohio that we were involved as well. Our clients receive monetary damages.

Lois Lerner does no longer works at the Internal Revenue Service takes a number of other faiths case the IRS Commissioner so people were held accountable and that is but look, I would say this litigation takes time, if any, was here. That's what he would say, takes time to do and remember who the DOJ was the time they were going after their own people as it was holder that we were different.

DOJ now that is got criminal investigation.

We can do criminal investigation ACLJ right, but Bill Barr turn Joe Barton can start them. And yes, I guess the deep state actors so so it the administration which administration is in charge really comes in the player. We can do so much in the civil courts have great victories there, but that for criminal vignettes for criminal we get that all the time criminal takes it it's who's in charge Department of Justice and that that's it.

That's election issue instead of election issue again very soon. And that's who can hold those people accountable in a criminal way, but you know we didn't just take our clients and say let's go before Congress. We went to federal court folks went to federal court. This was this all the way if you could do like to put together a full strategy they were visiting a full campaign legally media, congressional testimony got clients across the country taking on one and most feared federal agencies figure out that the FBI was trying to criminally come after our clients and then saying you know what, no more negotiating or taking you to court, IRS, and by the way the government hates when you take him to court has so many excuses.test.to be in court with a meticulous I can imagine a harder entity to come against in the IRS them tell you the IRS is a formidable foe. Often times this is one of most feared government institutions in the US they get your taxes. They determine how much you know. If you go back taxes they can seize your way to me. All these things IRS can do a lot of power. They know everything about you basically. So to pursue them voluntarily took a very brave group of individuals and organizations decided okay let's do this ACLJ we will fight back for our rights to fight for our recognition and fight for what we deserve from the IRS.

Let's take the court.

There was a serious and systematic problem within the IRS that allowed this issue to percolate all the way to the top floors and the tax-exempt organization had main treasury. There were concerns and reached into the White House and you know and the President present Obama dismiss this as inconsequential, but ultimately the way to handle this was court. You had to be in court to get this resolved. The reason I got into is because relational reason. The Kentucky narco project was formed for principal. We felt that our rights are being violated that we had a constitutional right that wasn't allowed to go forward and that thanks the FCA's DOJ. We had a voice.

Now they could fight back, shine a light on what was happening. So even if we didn't get what we deserve, that in the future, but organizations may be empowered to stand up and how that works. You can't just say what were not to sue you can't say let them trample on the rights it was time to stand up to the other leaders who did the same right so look the reality is, I think that when you're looking to suit this movie and I think this is right. This gives you a sense of kindly overviews of the kind of things where we did an actual case that involved not just litigation but involved congressional testimony litigation in federal court, a movie be able talk about on TV.

We put these clients, you know, not just on our own media, but right on Fox news and not always with us coming so often times you have your attorneys, you go on with your clients and sometimes that's it.

You need to do that in this matter with 41 clients always different matters and those with Artie testified before Congress and some of them were appearing on Fox is more than us at the time and that was great but you know those are all strategies. It was like we just edges randomly happened. We would put all of that together made all those decisions who put forward with the put for who should be talking what issue should be very and then of course figuring out that the FBI was try to criminally come after scripts such as treading description VA actually taken down criminal. When we finally five years into this got the decision from the court and this is actually physical clip because it's one of our clients going through the decision for you.

Take a take a listen or watch.

The government has admitted is entered into this this decree, and they've agreed that it's wrong to apply.

US laws against any individual based upon their name the possessions that they hold provide their lawful positions with jars of courseware issues that weeks that we espouse for our associations or even perceived associations is the first point. The second point is that the government has agreed that their actions whatever they take in this process must be evenhanded and never based upon the applicant's name their political viewpoint or associations are perceived associations and then the government finally declared or agreed that discrimination on the basis of our viewpoints that the government administering the tax code is a violation of fundamental violation of First Amendment rights which we knew all along that the government was denying to treat us differently entertaining in getting tax-exempt status or any treatment under the tax code based solely upon her point of view to have these now agreed and admitted by the US government will provides precedent which I hope in the future will at least hold at bay when someone is tempted to do this again. They admitted that they lied. She broke the law, you know, and I guess that's the first time my understanding that they've ever admitted in a court proceeding that that they actually did something wrong.

We had things put in place of the wouldn't do it again to somebody else, which is even more important and the most important. That then becomes a precedent for that next group that comes 5 to 10 years now. My nine-year-old when she goes out she can say hey my dad did and she that's what why we did this one for me was for her to couple minutes or talk about this because folks this is really important that you know you get what we get so busy and we had so much activity since these cases that you forget and that's why were it's so important to do these documentaries because you want the history of what took place and this again. We could do this without you. So, first, thank you to all of you for allowing us to do this because without your support. We don't get to do this.

It's that simple. That's number one number two look at the result.

Now this was congressional testimony, which was extensive. Our clients testified before members of Congress. We then had litigation, which was not done overnight was a lot of hearings a lot of brief slot emotions appeals back and forth. We were successful that it was settlement discussions. You just saw in that clip that we just played from the movie the nature and scope of those settlement discussions which were really fantastic and we got an unbelievable result for our clients, which is an unbelievable result for the country and none of that happens. None of this takes place without your support of the ACLJ and what I love about this particular documentary. It shows the full gamut of what we do with the American Center for Law and Justice.

It shows everything it shows litigation it shows negotiation. It shows congressional hearings. It shows resolution. It has a documentary that explains the entire case and when we have a daily radio and television broadcasts that comes to you from the studios each and every day.

The cost of your support for their couple things that like you to do first this weekend or tonight watch ACLJ films.com. The movie is called targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS started in 2010.
