Nothing like what it is now. I think he is a very shallow view of history and hyperbole. I can't believe that these are United States senators talking this way and being this petty this spiteful man. Yeah, I mean there's hypocrisy on both sides and here's an honest answer Logan the other side would do the exact same thing and maybe here's what some folks don't want here. They should get in the reason for that is the American people are the ones that are supposed to have the power here and the only way that that works is if every two years when they go to the polls in either sent you a similar Senate to Washington DC, or they switch it up and say you know what we want to check on the President Logan that has to have ramifications and so in 2016 when the American people had sent a check on Pres. Obama. That has to be allowed to take hold and then the last time around when when the American people sent a Senate to Washington DC that affirmed Pres. Trump that also has to take route to look whether you're Republican or Democrat. I think I take seriously the division of power in article 2, section 2 that says the United States Senate can do whatever they want in order for that to be real Logan. They have to have permission to go either way. Confirm or not confirm both have to be options invoked in human terms. I think that's a little of the more important things. I say we want to go out and vote for the President.

It's it's the big deal.

We understand that the boat down ballot and vote in human terms. That is a huge deal for states like Georgia is called salute. Yeah, there's a reason that the Republican majorities in the Senate right now is because is the will of the American people. We like for things to be balance for there to be true.

Checks and balances, and so the Republicans are there because of the will of the people that the Democrats think that somehow another. The confirmation of Amy can you bear this nomination and in a year violating the will of the American people is so absolutely false. I saw a tweet yesterday from one of my friends who's in is a musician is just was tweeting out to the universe telling people he said ACB is a shining example millions of powerful conservative women were change the world one small victorious or virtuous battle at a time and I think that is a interesting statement. Like you said. I'm a mother and right eye got someone at this point the kids are all grown up around the house and their kids in college or grandparents. This is some with young kids who has a different point of view but has a point of view that I think resonates with people I can call her and with millions of people around the country. You can get caught up in the sort of echo chamber of yourself you look at social media you may think you're the only person who thinks a certain way or are recently Justice Barrett you at least have someone out there, presumably representing at least someone you can relate to and I think that people can relate to and see someone who was clearly very qualified as a Lindsey Graham didn't like chase down to the airport something there like how dare you feel it would support our he's like she's not qualified to tell he's like okay of all the arguments you can make unqualified that I'm sure he got to the airport to Jase is not an airport logging onto the qualified attack is great is pretty alarming on this when she was she was so good in the hearing. The look I love Brenda's call Logan because this is exactly how I feel. If she's as good as I think she will be in there absolutely to be opinions that disappoint me and that I disagree with.

Because judicial restraint requires that.

So, quite frankly, if she ruled every time. In a way that I that I thought was correct, then I don't think she would be doing her role just as in the other. The other point I would tell you Logan is that you know that this this connectivity with the real world actually think it's very important for the Supreme Court of Michigan to be the first member that's not from an Ivy League school. She can be the first member on that court.

That's from the heartland from that so so-called flyover country.

So if we want the American people across the country to have buy-in for our way of government.

I do think that connectivity and that relatability I think that's very important absolutely. I think that is a big problem is I believe me, I'm sure that there is polling data to suggest this. Whether you believe the polls and not to suggest that the majority of the country. No the Supreme Court works. They certainly couldn't name more than maybe a couple justices. If not, any you at least now have someone like you said, who is a relatable person on the court. Hopefully that could help change that's reason one the reasons we started bald beagle. This was minutes later it is breaking news trip Supreme Court nominee about to be sorted in the White House and another potential super spreader event so a completely insane headline from a historic moment if you ever question the fact that when people around you screen the fake news argument that they are there, illegitimately saying that there say that there look at that ring that is completely insane to see a major news outlet. The one that probably holds themselves up with the most credibility that pretend they are the clip we got Anderson Cooper out there New Year's Eve.

You know, goofing off your biggest news man, but you have this trip, Supreme Court nominee about to be sworn in a White House great good statement. It seems that the factual statement and another potential super spreader event that we saw the mast all over everyone but regardless, any when you look at that your initial reaction has to be that we've got so far. It's like there's no turning back and inform the media nominated. They've gotten gonna give give the line that is the factual historical think I give a little cut just a little jab.

The little you a little skin though slog that that that really even though were engaged in the historical event. And I gotta tell you I had a lump in my throat when I saw Clarence Thomas because I know and I watched I was old enough, I think McKinley was President of nine. I remember I was. I remember the absolute torture that that man through to get confirmed by by the Senate Judiciary Committee and how he was tortured by those committee members and here he is now the senior associate justice giving a nose to the news. Justice on the Supreme Court, and yet CNN has got to put that little jab in there about this is not a historical event. It's a super event which sounds so insane. You will seek a couple weeks but that's not the point.

The boy was. This was the news of the day. This was the story they decided to leave the way it's working is so worded is so subliminal, as if that was a talking point is if one of the talking points going into this.

Was this could be super spreader.

But no, it just someone some producer with an agenda setting. Here's what I want is the headline and this is the biggest problem we have is people only read headlines.

So the only read that headline you read that you go.

Oh well. Most of these people must've tested positive for Cova night some reason they're calling this the potential super spreader of it, but know that straight because I was he there was an issue with her last event at the White House. Everyone knows that it's been taken to consideration.

Regardless, it devalues the importance of this moment they had and I don't think you said you were there, you remember. Justice Thomas, these should be moments that we remember for the historical nature of them out, regardless of party. And in it. Clearly this is just being used by the news.

I made a point of doing two things with them. One I made sure that they were watching when a judge Barrett was nominated by Pres. Trump for this position. The other thing that I made sure they did is tune into part of the vice Presidential debate as, Harris took the stage to debate in one of the points I made to them. In both occasions is what we have to have the ability to disagree together. I agree with you know, maybe one of these women will and maybe I don't agree with the other one. But the idea that we live in a country where that you can achieve this kind of think Logan I wanted them looking to those examples for aspirational moment slightly.

I do think it's much more difficult to pull in this moment in history than ever before, and I frankly don't think that's probably ever going to change, at least not in the near future. Last time, so no I think the polling is an issue, but also that the national polls in many ways Logan they're just completely irrelevant.

The only polls that really matter are in the states where it's close enough for those electoral electoral votes are up for grabs.

Not not dismissing the other states. But there's just that the truth of the matter is there's a few dozen states out there that one candidate has essentially already sealed up and they should be focusing on the remainder of them were saying such a weird time because you had Biden not really been out there.

The last couple days showed up yesterday start making more appearances now. What we do. A week out is there is this is such a different time that you have to even as the candidate does the campaign do you think they've pitched push such a different narratives when it comes to the response even to go for 19 response to everything that was have to play on bread. I think that could be a positive and negative for them so close right now is I think no one knows is going happen a week from today and what we learned four years ago is that you can't really trust the polls or even the early voting data. We don't know how many people are actually going to show up next Tuesday and vote on that day and so is too close to call. Thank God for the electoral college because it means that you were not a true democracy were constitutional Republic and we elect our President so that none no one populous state or city can choose the President. We spread that out so that all the American people have a voice. That's what we have the electoral College began to close to call. I do think Joe Biden is hurting himself with what he said about oral and so hopefully that's being in those states where the exons were not releasing a lot ads here.

Hopefully the ads that are being pushed into the states were oil is the lifeblood they got a push and then he said he would appoint a commission to study packing the court the polls this morning said 60% of Americans are against changing the numberless record. I think that will hurt him with people who haven't voted yet. Then of course you are his tepid, anemic campaign not get anywhere. My and being in Warm Springs, Georgia today. I don't think you can help by spread by and very much now it's knocking to help and I had a house in Warm Springs, Georgia, and lives in Meriwether County for 10 years from 1985 to 1995.

That is, a conservative Republican area. I don't think he's what I don't think you really went there to get votes when I think it was a homage in some way to FDR. But Miami we are seeing the reports already dead for 500 early votes in Miami-Dade Republic deleting by that and the Democrats only hundred 85 up in Palm Beach so you South Florida yeah well I was born in Miami and in my formative years in Miami and even though ultimately moved to Atlanta but I have a very warm spot in my heart for date Miami-Dade County and I think that the fact that you have got that many advance voting makes a great deal of difference. I really think the Cuban community down there which is very heavily in the area that I grew up with a add a street coyote show. That's where I went to elementary school Galway elementary school and I remember all those those fun times down there there there a hard-working people who have tremendous principles who came from a dictatorship who do not like socialism who work extremely hard extremely hard at the businesses that they engage in who don't want to pay higher taxes don't want to lose their insurance because of pre-existing conditions in the President's studies, knocking to do that but I think the fact that there's been that kind of a turnout is going to make a big difference in Dade County organelle really know.
