19 years since 9/11 on today's show were talking about how we were impacted how we respond this many years later. Live from Washington DC Jay Sekulow live where women were not lines are open for your questions right now hold 164th this very hour on this field. 40 brave men and women try our overture gave their lives in defense of our nation. Their names and their stories are forever inscribed on the internal rollcall of American heroes hello for program takeover this September 11 19 years after the historic and tragic terrorist attack that happened against our country in New York, Washington DC. I know for a lot of you like will, of course, I know all this information dive into some pretty interesting topics here today I we are seeing are going to be talking about the history really looking back hour to be playing some of our older clips and interviews of guests were related to the situation or also been refocusing on what the impact of 9/11 is 19 years later, and what it looks like for a new group of people and adults. I met him graduating high school were not born during the airborne after the September 11 attack people who are graduating college this coming year, who were two years old when this happened so quick. We now start to look into a historical perspective on the September 11 attack and cancer start to learn about it a lot differently really taken phone calls on that how you think we need to preserve how we be talking about still look at what it was a little bit of Audley in this time there was a lot of calls will early on, to cancel the programs. It really happened this morning with that when the 9/11 result President speak with all my friends make different locations. The rollcall happens every year. Ground Zero and ended with now the memorial and they were originally calling to cancel the lights that usually go up in the sky. The two Towers lights you see the iconic imagery in New York.

Thankfully most of that due to outrage from concerned citizens of New York is that we can't just start to erase this even with the pandemic because again we are getting to point to that point where time is shifting. We have to be careful as were heading into essentially a holding group of adults that were not there and this is not just a part a small part of history and how it has shaped and impacted people still help will continue to impact right in. This is something that you and I actually talk about rather frequently about remembering this in and as we have young children now how we will be able to talk about these issues talk about the this very stark day in American history, but it's something we lived through as young men know we I was a sophomore in high school when when the attacks happen and so thinking about it and how were going to tell the next generation about something that you and I talked about frequently and working to get into today on the next seven or also talk about what were going to help preserve American history and teach the next generation of kids that's with her bald Eagle initiative initiative is a bald Eagle.com to find out more of the website also gives a call love to hear your thoughts on this topic on 9/11. In general, but also again how it's still impacting you and what we can do to make sure the lessons learned are not lost on the next generation.

That's 1-800-684-3110, 1-800-684-3110 they get. That's 100-684-3110 gives a call right now will be right back Jay Sekulow in one of the challenges facing Americans or substantial time and are now free to start constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice on the frontlines protecting your freedoms defending your rights and courts in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do her work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms that remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you. If you're not well this is the perfect time to stand with us. ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing work, member today ACLJ only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn gold is like will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership is empowering the right question for copy of mission life today online/back Jay Sekulow live.

Sorry about that I had no sound in my headphones there for a minute I live perhaps others are not that we are taking photos 100-684-3110, 100-684-3110 want to hear your thoughts and comments on this early September 11 attack. We talked about is book I can say look at our view can't write is where we live in interesting point. A turning point. Maybe it's site were not exactly sure. 19 years later you will we start thinking about the Pearl Harbor attack right now. By the time that our generation was in cognitive enough to know is going on. It was there very much a historical fact something we look back in history that I remember that occasion when we were kids. There were still people alive of the recently there people alive who are part of it, but again it we were disconnected from amber learning about as a history lesson not learning about something to happen in modern times when realistically work coming upon that time for September 11 from 9/11 to where you have to start kind of figuring out how it gets contextualized within history. My son who is seven years old. He is well aware of it. As of this year in second grade and he's the out take these realities books and when the book he's reading is kind of about the great disasters of the great crisis is America so to him. He thinks of 9/11 in the same sense of the Titanic, the same book he's reading. It's the Titanic it's Pearl Harbor. It's 911 not to see those bladder letter to her are attacks on the country that was a big disaster but this morning we turn on the radio they said oh it's it's been 19 years in susceptible of the tag would September 11. It wasn't like in a somber tone. It was more like a high level about that I've learned about that and I think that is good to be really interesting not only for those kids are getting that the 70 like it was born well after September 11 attacks were not about people now who are adults who are either graduating high school and they were not born when this happened, or those who are graduating college of the normal trajectory are maybe maybe two years old with a September 11 attack happened. We were 15. It we were kids right it is been 20 years goes by 19 years goes by pretty fast when you're marking on the calendar this event because everyone knew all the comments that are coming in a few thousand people watching and all ballots typically when we do a show on news and talk on Facebook or Facebook live 7000 people watching 6000 without a boxing live than 200,000 birthday, 3000 people watching right now, obviously, that means a lot of you maybe this morning decided when when you saw the notification pop-up.

I'm not. I I've had my fill of 9/11 coverage and I think that's an interesting point in a turning point society next year will be the 20th anniversary also be on the weekend next year, but it's a slippery slope, because again those of you who are joining the workforce this year probably have no recollection of this happening. You probably have.

Still, people were 28 may not have that much recollection as those that were seven or eight years old to try to think of it this happened in what I quickly turn on the TV for my seven-year-old to watch right probably not. So you want to protect that innocence as long as possible, so I know we are a family member who is roughly that age. If you like. I vaguely remember stuff happening people talking about it but I don't really remember it and it and know it's odd for you. Think about that so many people that is so such recent history, but it's really not. It's really not so much has changed. The world has changed so dramatically in those 20 years where we even saw trending today on twitter is a joke. I would comes in comedy special. Years ago that she was a commentary on this. So the actual origin is not to sit was in satire was. This is how ridiculous with this bait and it was a hashtag, all buildings matter and it ran wild as a joke on Twitter this morning and party looks that goes that's really interesting that were at the point where again, people who are certain age are cool with the fact of making light of connected and right yet that doesn't, it is not shocking to them that they could make a state like someone making a Titanic joke really talked about the fact that they know that happens where you can go in to her that all these Titanic museums that holy thing or even a lot of novels have the Titanic slide right when you think about like why is that thousands of people exist and the the ability for people to be so disconnected from something that they could have a amusement related to a tragedy right now if you were not seen that thankfully and I don't believe that we ever know was a little different as it wasn't like a natural disaster right well it was a terrorist attack Pearl Harbor right we did see note even 20 years ago there was a Pearl Harbor the Ben Affleck movie right that romanticized the Pearl Harbor attack. You could that happen. Could that be something that is, that was roughly 40 years disconnected I think is what you Pearl Harbor is been about 80 years. This was 20 years ago so that 60 years disconnected. So that's in our lifetime we see the point where there's almost a because look, we do romanticized element because of the heroes and the word hero change that day right when it comes to the police and the fire department and what we consider those first responders people who you hold up on a pedestal for a specific reason. But what will look like in if we don't protect the history of it will look like in really the next handful of years. 20 years is worth 35 we we get out when wetware 65. What is it look like when you had Natalie generation is Artie grown up multiple generations growing up, but we can still see the direct impact of how we deal in society with September 11-19 years ago. It's not like for a lot of people. They've moved all so that's why we decided one of the things we want to do. Will was with Bob Biegel which is our kids entertainment education platform were launching on YouTube and oddball Biegel.com you can support the work there if you asked when the first videos are coming up that are for kids that can become the next few weeks I we hope you will have the first one with the responses been amazing. We really appreciate it because we've just received an outpouring of people who get it any watch the show you get. You understand why we have to continue to remind kids protect kids, show them what needs to be told. Now this a lot.

It will be done in a lighthearted educational entertainment way, but in the same point as we age up. I'm sure will have content. The deals were serious topics, but it it's going to be interesting to see. You know our next new batch of hires or interns. They live in a fully post-9/11 world so much. Like I said they were even born. That's an interesting and and it just reiterates to us why things like Bob Biegel are so important to to tell the story to tell our history and to make sure we don't forget. Now for the first decade or so after 9/11 when the words remember never forget all of these these slogans and phrases were used around the media during the coverage of it.

It almost felt like all that's absurd.

Of course we never could. I remember the exact place I was in a classroom when my teacher had to go lock the door because there was a call over the intercom. That meant there is a code there's an issue need to lock the door and call the office. I remember all that vividly, but what you're even your email to itself.

So it seems like that's crazy. Of course we will never forget that how terrible and severe in in life changing.

That day was but didn't. It's so quickly when the even the people that are writing for the media that the new generation of the workforce is removed from that it does start to quickly change in you even see that by that the coverage in the media this morning they did, they coverage the President speaking in in Pennsylvania right base covered the reading of the names he took moments of silence when the planes hit, but as soon as that last one was over and that ceremony was over there talk about the NFL.

As I write letters in the end it out they were previewing the Devine's game with Brock and Brady a look, I understand life has to move on. You have to be able to progress in society and moving. It was a point where they were talking originally. How is this could be the day we shut down can be a day that we take off working but we decided as a country and its the President proclaimed it a patriot day right and it has been since to him. Wow is the way that we believe that we take Greg and I continue to work were going to continue to do stuff and be engaged in society. On September 11. Why were here to show delegates were noted to the next segment of the show. I want to hear from you either some your stories what you think about this specifically when it comes to contextualizing and remembering September 11 and other historical events and how you're going to teach your kids or grandkids how you feel like there really be see this is what your thoughts in general.

Next segment really talk about our work at ball Biegel or doing new project of the ACLJ discrete educational entertainment or mayor of American history and things in that vein with our government works holding the things we have a holistic stuff that we going to be a lot of fun. All of it is really at its heart to protect and support American history and values and faith. Again that's involved. Biegel.com appreciate your support financially supporting that really scales our entire production. We can't wait to start producing that for your kids or grandkids and your friends and family were taking her phone calls right now.

I'd love to hear from you in the next segment, 1-800-684-3110. That's 1-800-684-3110. Again, remembering 9/11 and processing it. Realizing how it still impacts us today. How will impact the next generation of Americans that are coming right out of college right out of high school right now we educate that's given ACLJ.org only one.

A society can agree the most vulnerable.

Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later, when Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership is empowering the right question for mission life today online/challenges facing Americans is time and are now free to store constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice on the frontlines protecting your freedoms defending your rights and courts in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times.

The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you for your thoughts. Well, this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing work, member today ACLJ back to Jay Sekulow lives Logan Sekulow for Logan Sekulow reprogram takeover this September 11 19 years removed and we are taking calls and comments. Not only just about where you were and all that but how it continues to impact society how it will continue to impact society and how we should let it continue to impact society make sure again. People say that I never forget and all those kind of things would take nine years ago we made a documentary cup forever changed available on a website on ACLJ film as well as I believe you to pay to this point on ACLJ's YouTube, you find that there may be Amazon as well. We could find out that film that we made nine years ago and it's crazy that we are almost double that time Paso Robles to another 10 year anniversary of September 11 and it is just it's mentally so much different than I think a lot of people would like special right now the pandemic in our generation will is gone through a lot.

People talk about a lot. You see that meme going around the kids were born in the mid-80s went through September 11 at 15 years old, went to the great recession, not out of high school. Camilla College Spring 2008 and now are dealing with a pandemic we dealt with a lot and how that will continue to impact us is really interesting look at all regeneration deals with a lot but deliver these are very, very start times. Joyce is calling Colorado on line 1 and we have a couple comments even from the President that I want to get to the Joyce. Welcome to the broadcast. You want to give us a call 1-800-684-3110 Joyce, you're on the right to know what I September 11 and I was working as a clerk, which meant I moving in later in the day and stuff while I always had the TV on watching the news and was in shock. I don't remember if they can't mean time, damn that they just told me to come on in that let them know that I went outside and they would let me earn because we were in luck did not know what was going on did not know anything at that point. When I went and common carriers were beaten told to be extra vigilant as were the clerks and it was just an airy situation when I went to get the mail out of the boxes and everything. Not only whether the skies clear and planes.

You couldn't hear him anyway because they had taken a mile down birds were not. You couldn't hear the birds they really hearing it with total Joyce, I have a similar story in a similar place where they were. I was in college in the school I went to a 24 hour classes I was coming in the class that ended it around 8 AM Eastern time 7 AM I because classes started at 45 in the morning to come out of those classes and I think we had just we were headed back there and head back to my residence there and that's we heard we heard on the radio and we got call back in the classes later that day, and immediately let go is that if if you want to go, we understand, and cancel school but that happened.

There's a lot of things happening right around that time.

Remember the stories that were leading into September 11 were very trivial like the top headlines were, you know, there was that the baseball player who was actually a good 15-year-old was playing a 12-year-old league like there was that kid was like a big start then like Danielle Danielle Monica Danny Almonte was like the number one story America that there were shark attacks over shark attacks happening throughout Florida throughout the coast. In general, those were the two big stories. And then after that everything changed in phone lines are lit up right now and I hope will get through some of the guys that want to hear it. We talked about protecting the legacy of September 11 making sure people still feel we say never forget. Like you said, "going the generation that never was, that wasn't there, so this is from Pres. Trump just this morning, our sacred task are righteous today and our solemn pledge is to carry forward the noble legacy of the brave souls who gave their lives for us 19 years ago in their memory we resolve to stand united as one American nation to defend our freedoms to uphold our values to love our neighbors to cherish our country to care for our communities to honor our heroes and to never ever forget you absolutely give a present from China reiterating some the stuff that we've been saying here because we are at this tipping point, where American history. Not only is a bit under attack in general. Also, we were just getting the point where it's now becoming this specific instance of September 11, which then led to the war in Iraq which then led to the war in Afghanistan which led to so many different things really were still seeing repercussions of so much of it today is starting become your foggy or foggy or more ancient history maybe ever before.

It's really on election years were always reminded more of it, but it is one of those things where they will quickly you'll see exit the news Lori we all the new sources appear on TV. They've all moved on and are now talking about the President are talking about tapes that talk about real ridiculous things went really and I'm not saying we need to sit here and well. I want to come on here do a show where we just sat here somberly for for an hour so they open up this conversation with with you, the listener is what do we do, how do we progress at some point it will become that way where history will move on in the it's weird what sticks out well because we often talk about what were we doing and what were weak.

Suddenly that day.

There's couple albums that came out of her that was released days that I remember specifically the POD satellite record right and Nickelback silver side up came out. I was very excited to go pick up both of those records and know you tried in the stores were] as we are because we were 15, 15 were teenagers.

So for us it was like what is this well now I can't get my POD record and we lived very far away from where the attacks now. We were able invite Florida. It was an entire shut down like businesses closed for the day it was. No one was on the roads. There was no no one was flying all the flights were grounded.

It was a very positive right where in Orlando it's so tourism center is not unlike how it is there now thankfully start to pick up their cup. Let's get where you and is eerily quiet right where everything with you.

We go to Disney World and it was shut down there shut down theme parks that day. Those are the things that my brother was in Washington DC during the attack, so I also dealt with that weird escaped my brother.

He was in college was working at the Justice Department and you try to get touch with him. The phone lines were down. Those are the kind of things.

Remember, that's help because it was such a vast issue vast I would template vast attack. Everyone had like some little connective tissue.

It wasn't just this thing is happening out there but for the kids that are coming up right now in adults that are coming up the workforce.

Right now it is one of those things.

It just sort of happened historically, the books looked at the books, my submariner, I survived. I survived the Titanic. I survived 9/11 its first-person accounts and it's so interesting to see that change and really have a minute coming up to look to the next break we get back will have more content to talk about. We are to play their view the end of the show that we did. If you are 9/11 to go with America's maritime Rudy Giuliani assuming here that the end of the show Richie that that's become about 1/2 hour from now until then I want to hear from you. What 100 684-3110.

Those of you who are no longer with us after this 30 minutes to their station opening up check it out. Run ACLJ.org. We are on the ACLJ app is on Facebook and other favorite social media platforms were there for you Jay Sekulow live is Logan Sekulow reprogram show women I host each and every day and support our work and support a new initiative for kids to protect American history that is bald Eagle with a B.bald Eagle.com again, we appreciate it another half-hour coming up on the living secular reprogram takeover Jay Sekulow ACLJ is been on the frontline protecting your freedom is defending your rights in court in Congress and in the public arena. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side. If you're already a member. If you're not well this is the perfect time to stand with us, ACLJ.org, where you can learn more about our life-changing work, member today ACLJ secular reprogram takeover of Jay Sekulow live here we are talking about the change will impact with September 11 attacks again.

How we respond 19 years later and how we can help your hearing responses will from all over the world to people talk about your will.

The pandemic breathing 9/11 for this consideration. Robison and start wearing masks where this point hundred thousand people are dying that will be interesting to see where how this is remembered 20 years from now because we are living in interest rates and time 11 to think we talked about this before. It was so very isolated. It was the three at three planes attack happened. Now the impact of it was felt for years and still he felt where the pandemic has been this slowly six months, seven months, eight months it would keep going and going on where people are slowly dying in the world tries to get back to normal in it. Weeds can be different because not like it's this one isolated moment is a moment the whole world is going through and how that will be treated will be really interesting to see 1920 years from now when were you living up the point of how some things change. Like you think about air travel before 9/11. You could go to the gate to greet your family getting off a flight and have to have a ticket to go through security.

Security was just walking through a metal detector. There was very loose it in the center of what it was just going to the airport, go to the gate.

Now we know like you can imagine doing that now that it's very much you have to have your ticket you have to take your shoes off, you have to take your belt off you go through the millimeter wave scanner like there's so much difference. Don't even think twice about is a lack of practice for plaintiffs RSA flip right. Specifically, the Pennsylvania the heroes on the flight were able to stop it from getting to the bottom is targeting probably the White House or the capital and because they overtook the hijackers they were able to stop that right being another government building or or landmark being hit with World Trade Center's absolutely you are right immediately look at this and then someone brought up, they said you will. These kids were there changed me that there masks that that's what I remember. Or maybe that's a permanent changes that a change, hopefully not. But is that a change like security at the airport like taking your shoes off at the airport things it seemed trivial, even at the time the taking your shoes off is now so normal that I prepare which shoes I wear to take off right so I think that the you will see that you will see some ramifications that are not known and I will be felt for decades to come. Let's take some phone calls, your love people are calling in actually two minutes when I could do that.

The segment were due in the next segment when it takes more phone calls because after that, we are going to be going do a throwback to a couple years back we had on Mayor Rudy Giuliani and you hear that, I think it's important to contextual is going on with September 11. Those are those are pieces that can live on forever. The beach will play Nashville to hear it's will do that coming up in the end of the show so we appreciate all your watching right now we are taking many phone calls as possible in the next segment. So if you could give us a call. There are couple lines open at 1-800-684-3110 has history is changed. Well, we also have to look back on recent history, with 9/11 being brought up by someone like Omar right so the next segment will give you some fodder to call him a let's not forget what she had to say about the September 11 attack not too long ago was found dead after 9/11. Nice that some people get some and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberty to some people did something also will brought up the back chair for Islamic center for Americans on the relations, who you don't care for us too much. There she founded in the mid-90s. But beyond that the that.

Remember that this is how history, we will be rewritten if we don't stand up and say something if we do remember where we came from what we did. What's happening. That's what we have even started elementary school aged program@baldeagle.com entertaining education video content and user support go to that website. Bald Eagle.com to support the work and support our production for here on out will be right back with your phone calls Jay Sekulow life challenges facing Americans as time went on freedom and sword constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever with the American Center for Law and Justice on the frontline protecting your freedoms defending your rights and courts in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success.

But here's the bottom line we could not do our work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms that remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you.

Well, this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ God where you can learn more about her life changing, member today ACL only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice defend the rights of life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn, called mission will show you how you personally. Publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later, when Obama care means many ways your membership is empowering the right question mission life today online/program to cover Jay Sekulow and Xavier September 11, 29th and we've a lot of phone calls and a lot of people called in with their stories from 9/11 but also hopefully some will talk about some of the impact they think that could be happening and how to get that we would talk about how we can educate the next generation on something like this again. I talked about my son is learning about it in the same kind of class that their learning about something like the Titanic and we all have start realizing that time has progressed 19 years, and even crazy to think is even your children's teachers.

A lot of them were six, seven years old at this point teachers were in their early to mid 20s. At this point. So even there teaching it from a a exclusively historic point of view, not from some people who lived so how do we respond, how do we treat that how do we keep going out to make sure things are are not slowly just removed from society or is it time is it time to remember it now, it will send you your 15 minutes upfront talk about it and then we move on with our day which is kind of what the new sources have done all the major networks of… I'm not sure. I think there there's Odyssey time to move on in time to grief can you can move on from grief. I think we have to still conceptualize history will. I also think it's interesting to point out before we go to the phone calls that this was one of the last major events like this. Obviously this in then the the war that began following, but one of these. These global news items in this was a terrorist attack that happened pre-social media, and so we we don't have this world. I think that was a big part of the reason we were able to unify in the in the wake of it was because we didn't have all of this fighting and bickering and polarization. Right after it. That is so easy to follow into immediately in the world.

In the age of social media looking our comments right now and I'll be honest quite a few you guys are our arts talking conspiracy theories now 19 years later about this. I heard people talking about those things early on exit when one is easy to share as easy as you find even because it wasn't so so interconnected with everyone so easily that what we do. I watched the news broadcast news in a classroom. Basically my school stopped all classes and we went to the few classrooms that had table.

Not every classroom had that kind of access to the outside world. So we all kind of went to classrooms to watch broadcast news it would be completely different. Everyone would pull out their phone in beer.

The watch their choice of broadcast it in the moments I think that's an interesting way to think about it as well.

Let's take some phone calls go to Allison his belt for little while in Florida Allison, what a Jay Sekulow life. I live about. I was working in toward Delhi at the time of 9/11 and we wanted a little you know under their kitchen cabinet mounted black and white color TV in the back and I remember like I was out like where is everybody everything not working out.

I go out going on back there and are all crowded around the heating were watching in your credit my thing. When I think I'm being all and that we keep it clean like oh my, what is going on in that moment. Not one of knowledge of what's going on all your point blank what your school moment, we had to go back out there and serve customers who are not nobody, now you're literally looking at somebody trying to reconcile what you But Not Hard in That Area. People That Don't Know Anything Kind of like Here We Are Later Happening Where People Are Totally Unaware of What's Going on around Them.

That's a Good Point Is at the Moment. It's Easy to Look Back and Say That I See This and Say Okay That Happened It Was One Day These Four Planes Were down Here with the Time We Had No Idea It Was Coming.

That Day Was Coming the Next Day Was Coming. A Few Hours Later.

There Is No Insight yet. We Didn't Know Where the End Was Going to Be for This in and Emily Ended up Being the War and in War That Someone Is Still Being Fought Today.

Your 18 Years Is Not an Engineer since 9/11 about 17 Years since the Start of the Initial War Probably Roughly 2000 2003 in Afghanistan so You Know We Still Are Saying That That Ripple Effect from That, I Think You're Right, Allison Is True.

It's Kind of like How We Deal with the Situation Moving Forward. Let's Go Ahead Take a More Calls before We Head into Our Final Assignment, Which I Should Be a Throwback Interview with Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Let's Go to Kelly This Coming Online One in Pennsylvania. Kelly Welcome My Call Wife and Romania Which Were Just about an Hour Out Of New York so That Day Weekend after the Airshow or the Week after Their So-So Home. Everybody Got Called into Work. We Are so Close to Them to the New York That We Didn't Know If We Were a Target. I Can Remember the School Bus Being Stopped and Searched. Kids Were Stuck at School for Quite Some Time. They Were Trying to Get Our Kids Home and There in the Year That Goes by That Those Feelings Don't Come Back.

It's Really, It Was Really a Scary Time in. I Think I Don't Know That Where I Don't Know That Where Not Thinking about That. I Mean, Were Not Thinking about That, and Anything Could Happen.

We Just Be Prepared. Yeah, I Think You're Right Kelly That It's Hard Not to Immediately Go Back and Hear the Sound Bites from President Bush at the Time Are You Here Some of the Songs Were Playing That Came out Directly after the 9/11 Attack Is Hard Not to Place Yourself Right Back in That Space. Not Really Concerned Again with People like Kelly Who Were Directly Involved Are People Alike. Even You and Who At Least Had Some Some Connective Tissue There and Work 15 We Were 732 That Were Seven Who Are Now 27 People Who Are Just Now Is a Graduating High School Are Graduating College Who Have No Recollection of This Happening, Then You Have Kids like My Kids and Your Kids. You May Be Learning Sort of Warped History or Not Understating the Impact That Happened Earlier Kids Are Learning. Work History There Is Learning History of Historical Exit Point of View, the Then Again They They Looped This in Some Your Kids Classes with Something like the Titanic and Were Not Living Far Enough Removed. I Think We Get to That Point and It's Really Interesting and It's a It's an Odd Time with the Pandemic Plus Thinking about This Just Say This Is the Closest It's Been to Feeling like a Post Immediate Post 9/11 World Is Kind of What We Live the Last Six Months Where He Said Flights Were Shut down That Everything Is Locked down. You Can't Travel from Here to There Life Feels Very Restrictive and At Least That One Was at Well It Was from This Incident. This Terrorist Attack Is the Reason This One Is Been so Much Different with the Pandemic Well and I Think That Pearl Harbor, We Mentioned That Earlier in the Show Is a Very Good Example of Something Similar Happened in Attack by That Was by Imperial Japan That Took Us into World War II and That Was Roosevelt Called the Day That Will Live in Infamy Forever Now Will Suck Your Tongue Right in That and I Think That's How We Should Look at This.

If We Want to Treat It with the Respective Needs and and with the Remembrance That It Needs. How Do We As People Who Were Not Alive during the Pearl Harbor Attack. How Do We View That through History and in Almost Use That As a Check on Ourselves That We Need to Be Very Well Versed in Our History in That Kind of Goes in Line with the Bald Eagle Project That We Want to Make Sure History Is Taught These Things That Should Live in Infamy Forever Changed America That We Remember Them and That We Treated with That Respect. I Want to Say to Her Photo in Couple Calls on Hold.

I'm Sorry Not to Go to Get Any More Calls Today so Because This Next Segment.

We're Going to Play Is with Mayor Rudy Giuliani Was about My Dad Just a Couple Years Ago on September 11 I Thought Was Important to Wrap up the Show in a Way Where You Can Kind of Again Have a in the Most Insider Point of View and a It's a Terrific Segment You Haven't Heard before You Heard It Last Year the Year before. It's One That I like to Play Back Because It's a Very Unique Point of View. Obviously, Mayor Giuliani Was Hugely Involved. That Being the Mayor of New York, He Became As It Became Known As America's Mayor and You to Hear from Him I Coming up in the Next Segment of These Segments Don't Get All the Sins of Yes It Was a Couple Years Back but You Look at History, and Though It May Not Mention the Other Pandemic Was Going on.

America's Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Mayor Giuliani Thankfully with the Study, Especially Today. You and I Working on Other Matters Together Now. But You Take a Day like This and You Reflect Back. Thanks for Being with Us.

I Really Shouldn't. So I Really Appreciate Talking Thank You. So Let's Talk about What It Was like for You That Very Damn I Remember I Was in I Was in Norfolk, Virginia. Jordan Was in Washington and Then the First Notification of a Plane and Made the Four-Person Reports Were That It Was a Small Plane and Hit One of the North Tower. One of the Towers and and Woods Was on the News Obviously Is a Big Deal but Nobody Had the They Significance up until A Few Minutes Later. What Was It like for You Is the Mayor I Was Having with My Counsel Benefit You and Not an Governor Count on the Cot of the Republican Primary and Sudden. One of My Detective Patty Perrone, New York Go against Our Usual and Not and That the so We Rushed down There That Going down Some Really It Looks Remind Me Every Step of the Lacquer Level.

I Immediately Thought That All Of A Sudden I Saw Another Explain the Character Please Call Me and Said Later a Second Plane Hit the Terrorist Attack When I Remember Watching You and You Brought so Much Comfort to the People You Bring to the Country. The Concern Was a Member. Jordan Had This in Washington Was That within a Very Short Period Time I Went to the Timeframe with Everybody Starting at 8:46 AM till the North Tower Collapse at 1028 yet All of Those Incidents within Literally Less Than Two Hours so That We Know Was a Very Coordinated Attack. How Long Did It Take to Realize the Nature of the Coordination and in What Was That You Have First Responders, Literally Running into a Building That Was the Collapse Well. At That Point. The Thinking Was Dancing with the Fire Chief Who Ran the Incident and He Was Extremely Exploited the Best in the and Estimation. When I Arrived There, I Said Chief What's Going on That Terrible, but I Think We Have the Rest of the Day to Deal with This Building up a List of the Suspending Implosion, Anticipating the Building Falling down in Stages so All Of A Sudden I Saw This Man Jump Out Of the Escaping the Flanks and Say It Was like the Shot.

For Second and I Said Chief.

We Can't Do That Terrible Feeling That People above the Flame and We Were Totally Powerless to Help, and It Was the First Really Terrible Feeling Stomach Feel like It Sent the Rest of the Day with a Combination of Sometimes Horrible like That Seen Bodies Crushed and Sometimes Running into the Building Saving People Carrying People out Just a Total Contradiction. The Attack Was Generationally Defining Us Again.

I Was in College in DC Lot of Friends from New York and New Jersey at GW and This I Get for Our Generation. You're Still the Mayor of New York and and and That's That's This Is What We Remember. I Mean This Is Also Defined Going to War in Afghanistan and Iraq Ultimately Coming in and the Imagery Though. What Is It like to See. I Saw You I Thought Today I Saw at the Ceremony, New York, and I Wanted Notices to It That That Some of the Police Officers. There Were Probably Young Children Probably 10 Years Old When This Occur, Younger Than Me and There There at the Ceremony. The Whole Generation of Art and I Meet A Lot Of People and Their Parents to Bring the Child. He Wasn't Here She Wasn't Here on September 11 Minute Book about I Have To Get like to, but the Reality Is I Think Because It's Continual Here We Are 17 Years Later, Pretty Stark Memory for Those Who Are Some of the Younger One Was Still Defending London and Paris to Some Extent New York and a Homeland People Being Killed by Islamic Extremists Are Right Now so I Think President Bush Was Right When He Said This Would Be a Very Long War, and We Got Patients Had to Exceed Their We Know This Is Starkly the Islamic Extremists Are Our Patient That They Their Patients Can Be Intergenerational Patients Present Is Not a Very Effective Job and the Politics All on Isis, but There's Still This the Threat of Radicalization and the Impact That Can Have Other Cities Is Something That I Think Were Still Living with and Embracing Them to Level but You Honestly Are Much More of an Expert on This and I'm What Is Your Sense Globally.

I Don't Know That We Get to See Much to Write about This. Don't Think This Is Really a Terrible Problem in New York Even Detroit with Heavy Muslim Population. I Still Think We Have the Largest by Far Communities Integrated Assimilated American Big Problem with Our Allies in England, France and Germany Have a Very Radicalized Radicalized the Window Which May Be Why They Have Somebody I Look at This Globally As Well and As New Alignments in the Middle East. Now That We Didn't Have before. With Israel in Alignment with in Relationships with Jordan and Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and Then You Got the Friend of Iran. Let's Talk about the Enemy Here. You Got the Jihadists Here. Bin Laden Was the Coarsest Was an Al Qaeda Attack Where You See Those Goofy Looking, Al Qaeda, Isis, the Iranians That Are Continuing the Regime Continuing to Fund Terror Groups. How Do You See That Coming Together. How Do You See That Now. I Quickly Don't Think I Really Did. I Think This Is Change and I Think You Know and I Know Not IPO but I Think Pres. Made a Safe Administration.

I Think They Focused on This Point That We Were First I Didn't Think They Completely Organized Purpose That Even Though They Are Natural Divisions between Sunni, She May Be Inferior That They Want to Bring Together Probably Go so There They Have a Single Purpose Ran Is the Most Dangerous Nationstate. Even Though Al Qaeda Whatever Existed. Isis Is Very Violent. Maybe More about the Real Danger Because Nationstate That Is on the Way to Gain Nuclear and Supporting to Say This Man Reading People from Facebook or Posting Messages and A Lot More. Thanking You for Your Service to the Country, Especially during That Time (on Facebook, Said Mayor Giuliani Was a Hero to Us All That Day. That Is Very True. You You You Were a Cut You in the President Bush at the Time Were Very Calming Influence Very Steady Hands and Leadership and I Appreciate Your Leadership Them, and I Appreciated Our Friendship over the Years and Decades since Birth and Its Course and on the Work We Do Now with Mary, Thanks for Being with Us on This Important Day.
