What's Right What's Left
Pastor Ernie Sanders

Sankyo today on Jay Sekulow live all night for the final night of the Republican national convention prison trunk tells America. Nothing is impossible. Live from Washington DC Jay Sekulow my fellow Americans the night with a heart full of gratitude and boundless optimism. I profoundly accept this nomination for President right now: 1-800-684-3110 make America safer will make America stronger. We will make America prouder and we will make America greater than ever before. I'm very very proud to be the nominee of the Republican Party. I love God, love you Jay Sekulow live well we come to the conclusion of the two weeks of the party conventions it done in a very unique way.

They were both very different in the way that they were visually presented to the American people course that we didn't have the usual arenas. This kind of city takeovers that we would see the past, and last night. Of course the most important. I just like it was last Thursday for the Democrats last night.

The most important night for Republicans and for present trump as it was really the whole week builds up to his remarks and I'll tell you something. I think the these mayors across the country in big cities.

Liberal mayors may be kicking themselves that they did let those arenas be used even in more limited capacity because of the covert dinner Safeway because of what this allowed present trump to do tech to host basically have these different spots all across the country, but also Washington DC and at the White House company last night at the White House with the fireworks in DC and and Ed on the spectacle there. I think that to me it will take her phone calls and this 100-684-3110. That's 100-684-3110, but to me it's really just even you could just watch these without any sound and hills make your decision about who you like a self that, but you know me like visually you can detect there such a difference in what was presented by the left Democrats what was presented by Republicans. Defendant Washington DC because then you're here in Washington now. That was quite a different spectacle.

It was quite a different viewing experience.

Then last last week when you honestly, it was not because her Democrats. Usually, I'd be almost more tuned in because I want to see what how what attacks they were making.

It was putting me to sleep. The that that the quality was bad, it was up all pretaped the these you're kinda just dull speeches and then buying speech to me was just so red and so like you looking at one part of the trip Teleprompter without any kind of like a motion. It was tough to what I was just tough to watch. Even the left admitted that this was a spectacle for everyone and that the part one of this is getting eyes on it and and making people tune in, even if it's only for clips of it really talk about is how long to people watch the whole thing most people can't. They still got to take care of their family deck is three hours to watch, but what they see from it over these next few days. The imagery is so different. In turn, usually when you watch these conventions.

They look pretty much the same as each other course are getting in different contrasting viewpoints. Different proposals from for going ahead but but the visual impact is the same adore now is not the case. A minute that way. These rolled out allowed for a huge contrast between the two of them and look Washington DC is a little bit of an interesting place right now. But what a backdrop that was for the President to present his vision for the next four years, and Jordan. I gotta tell you, I think he did exactly what I would have hoped, which was. He started by looking back, and he got very specific about accomplishments from the economy and taxes to foreign affairs and national security, and then he looked forward during the pit. It was very clear about halfway through that speech. But you're right just visually.

The contrast between the two.

That's the biggest difference from previous years were most conventions would look the same. These did not look the same at all the river since that since this convention, Democrats have decided on their they got out with the message of no debate trump and to Joe Biden is actually hit the campaign trail in a limited way that tells you they're nervous and with those liberal media outlets act real angry afterwards and disgusted.

That means it did the job as the conservatives and the Republicans did their job what your thoughts way hundred 64 3110 walking through the night because the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that.

We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift you $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we do.

Simply would not occur without your generous support in our matching challenge today make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online LJ only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission life will show you how you are personally support publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the motion and what Obama care means to the pro-life discover the many ways your membership of the ACLJ is empowering the right to life question free copy of mission life today online ACLJ/your thoughts were to take a lot of calls. They were play some soundbites worry to because I know for most folks out there to be able to if you were tuned into like a C-SPAN type outlet. You may miss some of the speakers as well. There you can focus on just a handful of them because we just don't have the time, but one of that account. I can't tell you how we walk through this today so you can know what to expect on the shell because I don't I just go back forth back forth to go through each speaker deserves a build up happening is you had. I thought your data white from the UFC Association contrast, have him the UFC check edit head of UFC ultimate fighting in your Franklin Graham later on he cut his shows this coalition that the present trump is put together, but you had Carl and Marcia Muller were the parents of Kayla Muller was killed by Isis and and the contrast he made that if you know the present Pres. Obama had taken quicker action she would be there tonight and they believe it should be alive present trump was the President when she was captured by Isis that it was present. Obama wasn't taking quick and affectionate that that's from the parents in Ireland and they were willing to get involved politically and make that statement so will play some of that of course were Mayor Giuliani, who worked with the course out with that represent present trump in private capacity. I think what he had to say very interesting because then we saw what occurred after the event was over at the White House now to have attended a lot of it's the White House before. Even if your US Sen. remove your member of Congress. Everybody doesn't get to drive right up to the door.

That's mostly for its staff and your file cabinet level executive branch people so if you are a member of Congress or Sen. you might just be walking out your through the street to jump in your car that's waiting for you especially. There's that many people there. Now if your US Sen. like Rand Paul, you have security, but there were there were a lot of people there who didn't.

They may not be as recognizable, but certainly you could see who was coming out the White House wearing suits and ties who just attended this event so listen to what Mayor Giuliani said this earlier in the night. Of course, before the event was over this during the during the last eight artsy take a listen.

It is clear that a 4 foot by Democrats creates the risk that you will bring this lawlessness to your city to your town, your supper, there is no question that this awesome job of restoring safety for our people not being done from your basement. Joe that is strong language. We talked about how you know the Democrats, the Joe Biden will turn your city into New York City which is a wasteland right now it is midget deserted wasteland is dangerous.

Crime is way up.

That's happy. A lot of big liberal cities across the country. But then last night, so after after Mayor Giuliani good friend of ours and we were colleagues. I made that made his speech about this idea of know of no law and order the protests. We had a US Sen. Rand Paul, who said he was nearly killed in his video footage of it. I mean, believes that if he hadn't had the security that he had the police that he had the escort. He had he was with his wife and some family friends who attended that the speech for at the V convention on the White House lawn that he would been killed. I mean this is again a just proved Rudy Giuliani's point is that when you when you encourage that kind of lawlessness and protest, and you won't put your foot down ever and say okay this is gone too far.

You are this will come to your town and literally after the President spoke, it came right to a US senator who's got a lot more protection than most moms and dads driving their kids around in their city. They don't have police escorts.

They don't have security at your and this was a scary situation to make you watch the footage Sen. Paul and his wife. II don't I don't blame him for saying that he believes his life, what life was in jeopardy. Had it not been for the police because the mob was upon him Jordan.

They were after him and I will display this. The contrast between the security the center.

Paul would have the attention that he got from the police would sit on start display because there are other people in Washington DC Jordan who are dining on outdoor sidewalks were being accosted by the same mob and they don't have security so I really do think that this is gonna be front and center in this election and I think I set it on this broadcast before Jordan, but I think this is going to be the number two issue. I mean, I think the economic impact will be number one but I think safety on our streets and in our communities and it's not just Washington DC it's cities across America and I think it's fair to say suburb as well Jordan it is spreading. If you look at that footage last night and you think if that was not a United States Sen., what would have happened. I think it would've been very tragic and by the way, Jordan is one other thing.

How ironic is it Sen. Paul is actually the author of the great Breanna Taylor act which reforms no knock rates so the mob Jordan.

They didn't have any idea who they were going after he was with them on that issue. He didn't care.

He is a Republican and he you he will be voting for present trump even though sometimes he disagrees present. Trump is very vocal about that. Like you said he was actually on their side of the no knock warrants at but but it didn't matter.

He was walking at the White House the type C will matter for you either. Folks that's with Rudy Giuliani's warning you about this with present try to warn you about it won't matter what position you took. It's just where you walked out of what you're coming from.

Maybe what color your skin.

It's who you're with Ari vulnerable now to a Washington I'm used to be events where there's a lot of protesters outside to get in your face and scream throughout your life there nasty their mean but they're just doing it verbally might sometimes have block streets and stuff like that but they're not good threatening that pertain to a point where that you feel like they're about to throw a punch at you or try to take you down attack you is just is just part of like Washington.

This is not that folks me in watching right now is it's on Fox's that in the studio. This is not that when there's physical contact going on.

That's another level. Rudy Giuliani said again. Do you want your town to be New York City, which is now wasteland because it became ahead at looting and its book Fifth Avenue still boarded up, take a listen because you see the footage that take a listen to wonder how did we get overwhelmed by crime so quickly and declined so fast. Don't let Democrats to America.

What they have done to New York, then you just put some the chat if you cancel sharing it with people. I mean, I think this is this is just very telling your Washington DC and I lived there for 10 years in and see where their lot as well. But you just said so they think hits home to this bigger message and why I think the Democrats are changing their entire strategies that they're putting out. We don't want to debate and Joe Biden's going to do some campaigning to leave the basement and take them take that guess on PC move that the liberals tried to pull like you could run this whole thing from a basement because they I think very worried about losing that suburban mom vote, but just help isolate if you're comfortable with it. Tell people he just holds the chat yet. It's different this time, Jordan. I mean I've lived here for 20 years, and raising my family here. We love this city is a city that we've embraced in. We normally spent a lot of time in the city. I've never had any fear of having my family in the city, Jordan, and in fact some of the robust debate that you talk about the protest.

I think that's a strength of America, do we allow that that we allow people of different viewpoints and has never been a problem for me.

Jordan, in this moment as of the last couple weeks. I would not bring my family to Washington DC to eat on one of these outdoor restaurants and dining facilities that is open. It's just not safe at this moment and why is it not safe, Jordan. I hate to say this because I've worked closely with the DC government and very many ways Jordan. They are not taking seriously protecting people who are doing business and consuming in Washington DC.

They are following the lead of other cities across the nation and allowing these violent did they call them protest majorities or mods. In this case out-of-control I I'll be honest with you the city I love. It's a city that my family cannot be in right now. For purposes of eating outside on the street is just the reality of it. That is just so telling right there that that's from Cindy's and washing us every day's been there, even during a coven. We had have limited staff of the office going into the city every day. Talked about being boarded up. Talk about how empty it feels. And yet, even with some of the Limited reopening someone who's lived there for most of their adult life are all their adult life really and saying that you don't, it would become a Taylor kiss elite.

So just imagine what that's like to your 10 I think this going to if they continue with these purchase and that Joe Biden and Kemal Harris continue to encourage these had a protest.

It will backfire in a way that we didn't even see the last in 2016 with another group of silent majority, a group that even may be less likely cast of over present trump to say you know what I don't trust those guys like Rudy said to run this from their basement and if you look at the debate came into a debate against the other guy they wanted.

You will anyone compress United States and figure out that the all those issues that the country dealing with right now.

What idiot but you can't debate then we got real issues so we come back with her take your phone calls 164 3110. I think Biden campaign and the DNC they're getting they got a wake-up call, pull started tightening. They did get they got no bump from Kemal Harris's announcement they got no bump from their convention and actually the polls got closer and tighter.

We know that Donald Trump under polls.

That's just a known factor, and so their whole campaign strategy as of last night shifted because they were announcing his present trump was speaking out out Joe Biden will be out on the campaign trail. Some that was not the plan all in the event Nancy Pelosi say were not going to do your don't debate and come up with excuses why not survey present trump.

No, I does want to be present. Trump wants debate present trump everything so it's been a long time with better be pretty good on your feet. Pretty quick. A baby will take a punch and deliver one and Joe Biden doesn't appear like he's had that kind of power. So far this whole idea of the Pelosi story out there is distraction. I think that that's good that will backfire that will backfire slowly get away with that, to be President of the United States.

I would again remember this is our your final few days are matching challenges ACLJW can double the impact of your donation building today ACLJ.org it's how we bring this broadcast every day and all the work that we do for your support ACLJ.org building today W impact we take a call back only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition like it will show you how you personally. Publication includes a look at all major ACLJ plainly fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications of weighing 40 years later, planned parenthood's role in the what Obama care means to discover many ways your membership abuse children is empowering the right to life question free copy mission life today online ACLJ/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life reports and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that.

We are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift dollar gift becomes 100.

This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we do. Simply would not occur without your generous record and are matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online ACLJ Jay Sekulow life support what happened to Sir Paul and again you could sue the entire show on that and what Rudy Giuliani present trump had to say about you keeping America's city safe getting law in order sword in our country again or else this is what will happen but I do a walk through the night because I think this is the most important data convention the final nights when the President speaks and it's the build up to the present as well as the contrast you're making with the partier running against and what touched me the most. Maybe the entire night because of the of just the fact that I know what is like to get up on a stage and give a speech it in that you know.

20 if you doing for your work. It's quite another to tell you that your daughter who was killed by Isis you're doing it on a stage. It's partisan that you know you'll get the partisan pushback that that people say oh you're just doing this because I your Republicans orally or in a you're using your daughter's death for politics.

But now, in my case. In this case post I will tell you. You'll just get up on stage and do that deliver that message you do that, because what you're saying you actually truly believe in your heart, it's how you try to remember your daughter who was killed by Isis, but this was Carl and Marcia Muller who daughter Kayla was captured by Isis and ultimately killed by Isis were walk through some of their remarks last night, they were deeply personal and deeply moving. By 18 to this day. We never heard from Joe Biden. Instead, the Obama administration behind policy so much that we felt hopeless when they kept us from negotiating to save Kayla's life. The administration showed more concern for the terrorists in Guantánamo then the American hostages in Syria fan when you hear her father talk about that we had that we don't do that before where he had to contrast this week two of our clients were alive in their who are facing one was facing a long-term prison sentence pastor Bronson Turkey.

Another pastor narrowing this indefinite detention in India and he's got it disabled daughter special needs at home and can't get back effort for nearly a year and it completely cut off from his family and the trumpet ministration makes it a priority and because they know that if you don't handle it quickly it can get out of control. If you let someone spiral into a prison system in Turkey. Their life is at risk if you let someone be held by Isis to log their life is definitely a risk and I think we saw the guys would remind people you saw the contrast present trumps administration does everything it can to bring Americans were wrongfully detained weathers by terrorist group, whether it's by country home that mean you're always going to be successful. No, but will he put every card on the table for each person, each individual life of an American absolutely that we saw that, when present, trump, put sanctions on Turkish leaders for pastor Bronson and said if you don't really some to buy the next date will be sanctions on your entire country would be sanctioned by the US no business to be done with between Turkey and the US which means Turkey could not of done business with any financial institution in the world really yet during this was the moment of the night for me.

It really wasn't really for two reasons, one personal and in one substantive issue related to first of all personally on the strength that it took for Kayla's parents to get up on that stage and talk about the abuse that Kayla suffered at the hands of Isis Inaba baccarat bag daddy Jordan.

I mean riveting moment and I'm with you I think the only reason they take that stage if they think that additional lives working to be in the place of that that Kayla was in could be saved and they genuinely believe that Pres. Trump would any of them want to do that in Jordan. The second reason really dovetails out that it's because we have seen firsthand the contrast that they are talking about.

I mean if you go back before this administration. Jordan I will just tell our listeners directly. It is like pulling teeth to get the bureaucracy of the foreign service that it inside the State Department sure there are people who care. But what does it take for the bureaucrats to get the force of the United States government behind them. Jordan. It takes the leader of the bureaucracy it takes the President of the United States to make it a priority and in previous cases. Jordan Presidents have not been willing to set aside economic interests to put human rights, interest on par with it.

That has not been the case for this administration says oh that's the second reason it made it the moment of the night for us because when they said Jordan that this President has made it to be a priority. We know that to be true, and we know in a in a wide array of cases Jordan. If that's only thing that people watch. I think they would walk away with a clear choice.

Having listened. This is all right here.

By 19 the military prepared a rescue mission. But the White House delayed it by the time they went forward. Kayla had been moved to another location after 18 months of brutal torture we learned from Isis that Kayla had been killed. The Obama administration kept telling us they were doing everything they could put their version of everything wasn't enough. You know it was Joe Biden was against the reign of Osama bin Laden, Joe Biden voted against that rate. Thankfully present Obama did the right thing before that the other cat inverse who had a vote on that side to move forward with it so we know he is.

He's even weaker when it comes to making decisions like that. We know because it's been reported by the owner or its administration. So it's it's not just some kind of like speculation. If that's the truth so they kept the only delay delay delay.

They never Joe Biden never even called the family that is while he's vice President states never called the family. Contrast that with that what they think it would've been like if Pres. Trump was present United States for their daughter by 21 Trump King David's empathy.

We never received from the Obama administration.

The Obama ministration said it was doing everything it could trumpet ministration is let me just say this. Kayla should be here if Donald Trump had been President when Kayla was captured, she would be here today that mean think about this from her father present. Trump was in office that should be here today. Should be alive and what she hears her mother's with her father and her mother knew this and understand how tough it is to give the speech in that environment partisan so highly polarized country right now you're bringing back up what will you'll never get over that which is that the killing of your daughter by horrendous terrorist group which, remember, has now been basically destroyed eliminated by who present Trump's administration eliminate and now they've ethically know are going after the Isis financiers will hear much about Isis on the ground and where do we kill their leader. We also took out there. There are street fighters to and and that was of the trumpet ministration solicitor mother's well Konstantin is able to smuggle out a letter written as we ran we could see that God was holding her in his arms. In her words, she felt tenderly cradled in freefall. She also wrote, I think, challenging darkness, light even in prison. One can be free and grateful. I have had many hours to think only in your absence. I finally 25 years old come to realize your place in my life now and it would be this long, but now I am also fighting for my side in the ways I am able and I have a lot of fight left inside of me.

I am not breaking down and I will not be in no matter how long it takes Kayla company so many things as her mom.

She still teaching us you were able to represent his family's medics site Aberdeen is whether it's pastor narrowed pastor Bronson at no cost so that we can work in the administrations of the tough would work with like about one or the better. Much better Portland work electric ministration is your support of the seal J's are matching challenge at ins in this month donate to date a seal J.or support our work at the American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the seal J matching challenge every dollar you donate, it will be now $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 could make a difference in the world who knew protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you and your family.

You forgive today online LJ live from Washington DC Jay Sekulow and secular back to Jay Sekulow like this Jordan secular.

We are better take your phone calls that what hundred 64, 31, two, it's what we already got the final night last night of the Republican national conventions. We talked about Rudy Giuliani's message, and then what happened to Sen. Rand Paul, this idea that we've got to restore law and order decanter that for your basement. You can't do that while you're encouraging these kind of this lawlessness and we saw it last night what happened on the streets Washington DC to a US senator who had security and it was actually the physical tussle so wasn't just protesters screaming nasty things you want that your town we talked about that. With that in your city. You want your your your hometown to look like New York boarded up wasteland and it's sad to say that about New York I love you I love New York. You take my family there spent a lot of time there as well and the fact that you note that we don't even know when that will be back to where Bob's who do a lot of work there because the United Nations being there and our status, their fans with what time there's welding that were there up and back all the time and and that that makes it more difficult to target that we talked about the got Carl and Marsha Melissa Marsh, the parents of Kayla Muller, who was killed by Isis.

The fact that they believe that if it was trumpet ministration chart and she would be there tonight. Should be alive because the the deep Obama ministration drag its feet on the other raid that to try and save her. And as we know we can tell you the trouble.

Ministration does not drag its feet. They will put everything on the table.

Every card on the table to try and save just a single American life was being held either by country or terrorist group. You know it illegally and we know that because the clients represented the contrast we've done with it will be represent say that it Aberdeen. He had to go before congressional hearings headed to TV every single day to try to get the ministration's attention. Go to the State Department dozens of times over and over and over again just trying to throw the bureaucracy the end it will ultimately that was resolved, but I mean it was it took so much pressure, so much so many resources your most people wouldn't have that white why did he have that because of you that you have that supports a seal J financially result was a lot different. Pastor Bronson that stilled was two years in prison. But ultimately, every card was put that on the table including the cart of we will cut you off economically. Even though your NATO ally order one and he was released and for pastor narrowed in India. Same thing when economic sanctions right now India baby's release, passionate, released over a seal, J clients were able to represent those families at no cost because a you this is a great month support work of a seal J.

Why is that it's because of matching challenge month only goes till Monday this last day of the month August 31 at midnight. Whatever you donated a seal J.org we get a match for so we have donors who say every racist month we will match that were to give it were to donate that same amount. So if you donate $20 write out a seal J.org that's like 40 yearly charge 23 you take that action's very importance how we do the work that we do with how we represent these families that were against her getting into more as a show goes on really get more into your calls review more into the politics of the night with vodka trumpet and Air Force present Trump as well. The most important speech of the night quickly. I just want to take a call, because Michelle's been on and let it out for half-hour want take the call right away. Michelle North Carolina line 3 hey Michelle will call television program that might impact me what we are supposed to be at the American kidney terms on the time he was inaugurated.

He thought this was about getting the power back to the people and day after day after day he putting everyday American behind the podium to speak about how his colicky County compassion administration technique their life. They think the contrast is people yelling and crying and laughing and if the American spirit. Practice sharing when there is the American spirit, the ups and downs. We don't we. We can take together as a country is people we want that unity. I would feel that unity in the other sides physically unitary body parts resulted in boxes. This box failure this box good. This race.

This group seal it this way, black everybody thinks the same. If you're Latino there's differences Joe Biden said that back in Jay Sekulow, the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those faith uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. Seal J/Jay Sekulow library to hundred 60 you want to jump into the meat of it so you got vodka trumpet within introduces her father present. Trump that we can kick it every speaker of the strike as I can get the every issue that I would love to. I did. I tried to run social media that you'll been Carson talked about that that others talked about Tom contact writer Mitch McConnell talked about her Dana White talked about it, Franklin Graham played some from Rudy or and Dorn but but you know I think that some issues that were there. We want to keep it on to make sure you know were brought up every night of the convention was interesting is the Democrats in their national platform this year she do your convention.

Then they adopted a platform to call for the abolishment of all school choice programs, yet absolutely.

And last night. What did you hear from the GOP convention Dorn you heard more focused on school choice than I've ever heard on any major platform before. In fact, the moment where a President from a said that in the next four years. One of his highest priorities was going to be to make sure that every family in the United States had the opportunity to have school choice and to choose the school that their child was in a go to a door now is a very pivotal moment because you know this better than most.

This is a President that once he puts that on the priority list you not going to rest until it's accomplished and it's especially important in this moment Dorn because were in this moment where they're actually negotiating what is can it be done with dollars that go to schools if there is ever another coronavirus a stimulus package in Jordan it's not entirely clear that there will be school choice inside those dollars. So for the President to use. Last night as a platform to make that appropriate priority. I can just tell you boots on the ground very very helpful in the midst of those negotiation of national defense of the work people because it we haven't got really update on that much. As of the Democratic convention and that of course that the Republican convention. The hazard is much discussion in the news about what could happen. This covert relief so want to not get from your end of the President. He can through executive orders and powers. He said he could even do like PPP through executive order potentially as well, so where is Congress on this covert relief will include the school funding of Paris, but I think it's important point out every single night of the Republican national convention school choice was discussed. The Democrats want to abolish it for the poor kids.

They were taken away from the black kids from the kids who are economically hurting the poor stairs from the toughest toughest neighborhoods and for kids with special needs kids with that you need to be at a different school.

They don't offer that the public school in their in their ZIP Code. They would abolish it. Republicans talked about expanding it innovatively to every American, every single night of the convention a number of speakers brought it up, and last night been Carson talked about Dr. Carson talked about. But in her speech to introduce her father vodka. Trump she also discussed the need for broader access to school choice for Americans. Take a listen by 138.

We want to go to a graceful cancel lawn chance to achieve their God-given future. My father is working to build every good here. The prisoners then pointed out where she would go to school choice, listen parents special view. We know that you are close to value contacted us for assistance because of all the problems you're facing serious hardships are facing restart to solve those problems.

Families course as a cost of anything they get legal a lot of these interesting wheel reps relies families a special day special needs kids or they have their economically there then have the Internet speed they needed to do virtual learning home or that or the computers or tablets to do it at home. That's all they were looking for from the school district that they pay their taxes into that we've all pay our taxes into a to have those public schools, which is within a constitutional right that it would equal protection at the sky to be equal.

So were able to do all that, though in solve these problems from and represent those families who are having those difficulties at no cost to them because you support work the ACLJ and if you donate throughout the month of August of horses only goes until Monday midnight.

I remember your donation is effectively double double impact your donation ACLJ.orc's I will tell you many of of and it's up on her blog the first blog we really put up about the kind of kind of victories are already seeing early victories. The quick victories were families who would ask the school already and were getting zero response in the ACLJ contacted the school or the superintendent. Whatever the appropriate authority was and they got along a letter from a law firm and for those families. Guess what, they got the tablets they got the Internet access. They got the food they got what they needed, but they did try on their own. Nobody could ever afford an attorney, by the way to do that for the and never with the kind of expertise.

We have the same attorneys represent the present United States.

As we talked about. One night we had three clients sitting there present trump their individual capacity is the ACLJ present.

You had Pastor Bronson pastor there altogether develop those families with your donations. That's who you're helping. That's who were assisting because school districts respond when they get a letter from the ACLJ and and you can often times resolve these things quickly.

That's the point you want to have to go to court if we do we will put the writ we had the resources, do it because you support the work ACLJ be part of our matching challenges ACLJ.org donate today. You have until only Monday to take part that match rate double the impact your donations ACLJ.org Alyssa present trump to Joe Biden wants to end in the Democrats they want to abolish all school choice programs in the United States abolish it as their own bike teachers units public schools teachers unions and so what are they put they put first they put the teachers first met the kids with the unions first met the kids teachers are extremely important, but the kids are more important thing. Most good teachers out there know that they understand that take Alyssa present trump Biden also vowed to oppose school choice and close all charter schools ripping away the ladder of opportunity for black and Hispanic children in her second term. I will expand charter schools and provide school choice to every family in the end is that they deserve exactly what you should be to the extent that the teachers are important. It's there unions that the Democrats are owned by two point nobody will rip all school choice programs away from the poor skids of the country. Most school choice programs are only available to kids who are really the poorest of the poor, hurting the most economically or have some special need. The public school district that they're in a just doesn't have the right teachers for or site is set up for. So they need to be is to set aside the parents exceed really utilizes funds to go to the right school for them. It's not like everyone has those school choice right now.

It's really only a pretty limited group and self fan.

I mean I think there's a lot of parents out there right now I'm dealing with my old friends make these decisions every single day. These pod schools are popping up parents understand this if if using these terms.

If you don't have young children.

You might not but basically people putting together their own schools. It each other's homes and and and have hiring teachers is a group of families to come in and teach their kids because of just the uncertainty around the school and those are people can afford to do that there still dealing with a lot of problems and present trump just told all those folks something new might not be likely trump voters know that that might be put off is about to sit by the rhetoric to buy stuff toted by the words he uses that I would get about supportive for you, not just for the it will just be for the poor support I think we should help them first for everybody. It is interesting you bring that up now torn because I literally have on my to do list after the work day is over to go and pick up what is needed for my kids to participate in online classes of microphone WebCams, things of that nature. A look now more than ever. School choice makes sense not just for people who would've utilized it before, but also for students are now displaced from the option that they would have like to receive in your ears. Another thing Jordan and I know from having work with the Department of Education on this. The President trump is in favor of this. We have got to give more support to states and localities who are trying to provide these options to to parents of students there $68 billion. It comes out of the federal government that almost all of it has ties and restrictions on it that make almost all of the Jordan only available for local school districts.

This is something that at Sec. divorce is trying to change and is trying to make more of that available to teachers are unscarred to parents of students in Jordan here's the other little thing in the teachers unions don't want to know this mission. If you ask individual teachers.

Most of them will tell you this. If that were the structure they would actually get more support to make their classes oriented to the needs of their student, they would not be is controlled by the teachers union. Many of them feel like their hands are tied by it.

So in the end, it would be win-win for everyone except for who Jordan the political class of the left we get back will take your calls or problems were called searchers but hold on the one 1-800-684-3110. Get your calls announced support the work ACLJ we fight for life to the unborn present talked about that Ripley that we come back and more from his speech ACLJ.org double the impact your donation donate by Monday at midnight the month of August Parker matching challenges the work we do with how we do the broadcast brief every day. This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous support in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online ACLJ Jay Sekulow secularist retirement choice I would take Jerry's call right will talk to scenario to get all now what hundred 64, 31, two, we want to cover a lot today because it was defined by the Republican convention. A lot happened but if you want to get on the it's what hundred 64 3110 and Jerry's been hold on.

Thank you for hold on to appreciate that when you get to the certain point, so we get that were dedicated to present trump where he talks about life as well. The pro-life battle in the contrast therebetween. What Joe Biden supports what he does but Jerry appreciate your hold.

I know you want to talk to about this kind of the what you thought of as is were asking people. This the difference between the conventions and how effective you believe the Republican convention was we talked about the Democrat convention. It show that it hasn't been very effective. There was some huge bouts, but was this a game changer. Jerry what he think I will help put a great lunch. Who are you, Lord, what you call the spectacle. She said that spirit of heritage. I call the pageantry of Washington. It said that they can even take his own kids out in the street. I live millet Southeast but the big now that I want to comment about the boat yard get was what happened to Rand Paul as a retired police officer ran said something I didn't see that he had to catch the police officer was falling at his feet to catch him by its Latin swat that push them back up into the court not otherwise protect debtors open to get to him and his wife that some soundbite that he had to hold up the police officer like that that guys will get but I think it was pageantry that my comment.

You need eight hours to cover all the big ballpark just in the hope and the whole thing Dickerson compass Street was flat. You know why because the individual story what so on. The present was trying to do last night highly criticized and that what what's this message going for you because Atticus was the deal is coated dealing with a lot of big President so honestly the first got his mind wasn't just the campaign elections of the people to see the politically it is actually dealing with the crisis of now, the countries dealing with some gimpy out please. I would update on the on where this Congress is actually dealing with that economically or is going to be all left the President, as usual, and he'll step in and do what he has to do to keep the economy afloat, but I think what he did with that speech you why some people's house too long was that he laid out at every single issue now where he wants to go so moving forward.

This is just the opening of the campaign really most people consider after Labor Day. The start of the Presidential campaign.

So what he did was for all everybody out there who is a supporter or is wondering talked about every issue every issue, and where he wanted to go with it. So Stan what's Congress doing to get all be up to present trump and ended this idea again like that were negative pro-life comments as well. They were so strong. Of course what he didn't in the Middle East that you're moving the first present in every presence had the authority to do it, but no Republican bushes didn't do it. Democrats didn't do it. The Congress is given the authority to move our embassy in Israel out of Tel Aviv to Israel's capital Jerusalem. The others would do it. He did it and they said all this is going to cause disaster, the Middle East, and then a few weeks ago, the media doesn't like talking about. He brokered a peace deal in a trade deal little you could take a flight with the Star of David on it, from LL from Jerusalem and land right now in Dubai do business as a Jew from Israel with a Muslim Arab from the UAE United Arab Emirates is a peace deal and economic deal brokered by the trump administration that put the capital in Jerusalem.

It didn't cause backlash is actually led to stored skills. Have you heard a lot about Iran. By the way, recently that their nuclear private stamp is put all that together. I think that what he did was laid out out for us. Yeah, absolutely during an Emmy look those that think it was too long. Or maybe that was flat and I think maybe most convention speech.

Aim for 40 or 50 minutes to keep the attention span to Jordan what would you have cut out. I mean, it was basically a list of accomplishments and if you would've cut out any of the things that you just ran through in the Middle East.

I think it would've been a disservice to voters who need to look at what's happened over the last four years to make up their mind so look at. We we talk a lot about the optics and the entertainment value which you can be very important in politics during but the most important thing is to talk about substance and I thought it was a very effective line by line look back at achievements and then look for it and how we will build on that and Jordan look it's gonna be important because I will just tell you all just very briefly give you the update on the coronavirus debate basically that the Democrats in Washington DC Jordan have decided that they care more about a postal bailout than they do. The next coronavirus a stimulus, there is an offer Jordan there was an offer on the table for the United States Senate to actually give funding for the Postal Service.

Not for everything that was in the coronavirus built just for an extension of the unemployment insurance during that has been rejected and Nancy Pelosi has rejoined resorted to calling Mark Meadows names and saying he's just a staffer of Sec. munitions Jordan so what do we have we have the status quo where there is no federal unemployment insurance going forward and we don't have any package of her coronavirus release whatsoever. You know Nancy Pelosi wants 3.4 trillion, the Republican offer was 1 trillion but were getting zero because Democrats have said they want their postal bailout. Even though Republicans have said they are willing to go along, so darn, I do think that probably additional actions from the President are to be necessary before this deal comes together about. We have another fiscal deadline coming up at the end of September.

I suspect that might be when a package finally does come together it's pushing your people to the very special hospitality industry that other industries, a bill to come back and kind of keep the other people working get back to his but restaurants can't haven't been able to related salons. Other kind of field with bars, restaurants then use they haven't so it's pushing the right to the line and it's in the play politics with it and it left the Democrats they was would abolish school choice. It was at the one Jerusalem the capital of Israel say was it you opposed jointly, Joe Biden that the raid on Osama bin Laden, and again it would get the list goes on there. Also, the same ones who believe that you should build abort a baby up until nine months and present trump you. I give him this credit.

He's not afraid to use the real language we start the American people about what abortion is what Planned Parenthood what Joe Biden and Kemal Harris believe should be legal in the United States, which is what most scientists also cross the border to group infanticide list. Take a listen because this is that this is just the truth that in the toughest, most straightforward terms is Joe Biden cannot say that's not true. I don't support that because he does. He just won't say it that way they can listen Joe Biden claims he has empathy for the vulnerable. Yet the party, he laid supports the extreme late-term abortion of defenseless babies right up until the moment of birth Democrat leaders talk about moral decency, but they have no problem with stopping at babies beating heart in the night month of pregnancy, Democrat politicians refused to protect innocent life and then they lecture us about morality and saving America's soul tonight. We proudly declare that all children born and unborn have a God given right to life as we close out tonight. This broadcast is that speech is enclosed. The evening when there's so much we get to May.
