Some of our favorites. Next curious case of contract law in 1996, one John Leonard Sue Pepsi overpromise that he saw is reneged on that's only half of the story is Monty Montgomery to help tell the rest of court cases are serious business, but the snake Who Am I Still Johnny Got over the Net Court Cases Are Important and There's One Court Case in the 90s That Was Truly Astounding.

And No, It's Not the People Versus OJ I'm Talking about Leonard Versus PepsiCo Inc. Your Son Turning the Medium with This Dramatic Story of the Seat and Turns in Contract Law 601 of His Drink Pepsi's Motion When You Get Points for Purchases That You Can Later Use in Early 20s Customers Should Always Cool Things Went with Points. Everyone's Papers Were Blowing off Their Desks Crowding to the Window to See the Jet Landing in Their in the Courtyard Is a Little Harrier with the Jet Is on the Teeth below It Says Harrier Fighter 7 Million Pepsi Points Was Mostly Success and Sales Increased Significantly, but It Will Be an Interesting Twist in This Promotion. 21-year-old Businessman John Leonard Saw the Commercial Took a Particular Interest in That Jet Harrier We Need to Buy New Pepsi's Most 20 Pepsi's Only Had One Point on the Label.

Some Had Three and Five, 1 Billion Pepsi Point Bottles but There Was a Workaround. John Is the Fine Print Said Goodbye Points to Get the Merchandise Instead Each Point Was $0.10. So for Example the 1450 Point Jacket Cost Hundred $45. The Hundred and 75 Point Sunglasses Would Cost $17.50.

I Find It Hard to Believe That You Are of the Opinion That the Pepsi Stuff Commercial Quote Commercial Really Offers New Harrier Jet Subjects Clearly Show That Was Meant to Make Commercial More Humorous and Entertaining My Opinion, No Reasonable Person Would Agree with Your Analysis of the Commercial. This Is When Casey Started Firing up Quite Comically. Pepsi Had to File an Official Case Stating They Should Be Required to Furnish a Harrier Jet John Leonard for the Next Three Years.

This Case We Report Systems before Judge Ruled in Pepsi's Favor for Two Key Reasons. One Commercial Is Not a Contractual Offer to the Commercial Was Clearly Tongue-In-Cheek Person Would've Thought the Offer Was Real.

Lastly Quite Humorously Again Judge Out Of This Commentary, Harrier Jets, Well-Documented Function in Attacking and Destroying Surface-To-Air Targets on Reconnaissance and Air Interdiction and Offense and Defense of Antiaircraft Warfare. The Fiction of Such a Jet As a Way to Get to School in the Morning Is Clearly Not Serious, Even If the Plaintiff Contends Jet Can Be Delivered in a Form That Removes Its Military Use Pepsi When on Two Minutes Commercial Changing 7 Million Points to 700 Points Also Have a Small Print the Advertisement Saying Just Getting If There's Any Silver Lining to All This Madness Case Has Now Become a Staple in Law School Starting Leonard Versus PepsiCo Inc. State Farm Is in Your Corner and on Neighbor Call Your Local State Farm Agent for Quote Today and We Continue with Our American Stories Next Story about a Marine Turn Cartoon and so Much More without Any Further Ado, Here's Mike in I Am a Cartoonist and Animator Cartoon Director and My Story Really Began As Far As That Goes, That End of My Story When I Was Seven Year Old Little School and I Was in Second Grade and I Just Remember Sitting Looking Overreactive Little Blonde Girl Right Next to Me and She Was Drawing Trees and She Just Had a Particular Way of Drawing Treatment That Was the First Discretionary Discriminatory Thought I Would Have My Cartoons. She Drew Trees like Began My Artistic Careers Were Seven Years Old.

From That Time on I Just with the Court. Every Time I Could Get a Piece of Paper in My Hand, Drawing Her to My Dad Was a Career Marine so We Traveled All the Time. Every Year We Were Moving to a New School and New Location and You Know for Me to Help Fire Become Identified As Something to Gain Approval. I Guess It Was with My Peers. I Drew Cartoons and That One Plans and You Really That Is What Establish Me As a Young Man I Had an Identity of the Cartoon Was Very Important That Lasted All the Way through High School I Cartoons for the School Newspapers and Everything Else.

I Went into Graduated from High School and Went to Arizona State I Want to Be an Architect Time and I Just Really Wasn't Ready for School. I Was to Set Free and Just, Did Everything I Wanted to Accept Crack Book and so after One Semester Popping out and Had Nothing Going on for Me and during the Vietnam War. So the Draft Was Very Much a Part of Our Lives.

At That Time and I Have a Low Number, so I Knew Sam Come Calling for Me and Sure Enough He Did However I Beat Him to the Punch by One Day I Enlisted in the Marine Corps Because I Was at a Point My Life I Just Didn't Know Who I Was Going.

I Had No Purpose or and so I Said You Know What Thing I Know the Most Is the Marine Corps and I Joined the Marines That Was at the End of 1970 Camp in January 1971.

I Remember Standing out on the Grinder 240 Buses Were Waiting for Our Company to Be Formed. You Guys Guys He Said Something Else. You Fellows Know How to Drive 18 Wheelers and A Few Hands Raised in the Crowd and They Said How Many People to Type and A Few More Hands Raised in the Ground and I Remember Thinking This Guy behind Me and Not Volunteering for Nothing.

You Guys Are Working to Become Clients Had No Specialty but Anyways He Asked How Many Artists Are to Raise Our Hand and after the Assembly Where We Were Brought the Two of Us Were Brought into a Roman Basically Told to Draw Something Was on Our Mind.

I Drew a Log with a Helmet and a Machine Firing at the Camera That the Person Looking at the Cartoon and the True Bamberg Loud Great Wrinkle.

I Know That the Bulldogs Are Mascot and One Long Story Short, That Became My Last. My Military Occupational Specialty 1411 11 I'm Sorry That Was a Combat Straighter so I Graduated from Boot Camp and IT Are Way Out Of the Man Can't Because I Wanted Something to Show Who I Was in the Marine Corps Became My Identity Now Is Very Important That I Excel in Something That I Wanted to Pursue. And at That Time I Wanted to Pursue like My Dad Did Marine Corps the Career and I Was on My Way to and Very Soon Became Known in the Barracks at 100 Man and the Barracks Cartoonist Draw Parties and Everything Else Going That Really Sustain Me and Help Me to Make Friends and Consolidated Confirm I Marine Number One and Number Two of the Part Been in a Marine Map about a Year or so and I Just Started Feeling Great Loneliness, Great Emptiness in Me, That the Identities of Being a Cartoonist and Being a Marine Just Were Not Fulfilling and That One Night after Liberty. These Two Marines Basically Shared Jesus Christ with Me and I Became a Christian He Became My New Identity and and Believe Me It with an Identity That Was That Took and Change My Whole Course in Life, so I Marine Corps with an Honorable Discharge. I Wanted to Become a Chaplain or Pastor Something behind a Regular Pulpit and so I Went to Bible College and Not Santa Cruz, California.

There I Became an English Major, I Love to Write Books Reading Such and Again I Was like the School I Drew Cartoons for the Annual Yearbooks, School Newspapers, Etc. so I Think Maybe God Wants Me to Be Somehow Involved with Cartooning and a Career As a Ministry Augmenting Somehow My Pastorate but Anyways I Went to Bible College. There I Met My Wife Kathy and We Were Married for after Two Years of School and Then We Had Another Two Years and Graduated. I Didn't Feel Any More so God Wanted Me to Be Pastor. I Had No Idea What He Wanted Me to Do so We Decided We Would Call Kathy's Parents and They Both Live down in Burbank Area We Call Them up and They Said They Were Just Praying God to Bring Us down to Burbank to Do What We Had No Idea, but We Took That As a Okay Lord You're Telling Us Something We Don't Have Anything Else to Go on for Working Step out in Faith and Go down to Burbank, We Got down There and I Started Going around All the Different Christian Organizations like Gospel Light World Vision David C. Cook All of These Organizations That Would Hire Cartoonist to Work on Their Magazines and Whatever Else.

None of the Doors Open Almost Closed and Nobody Was Hiring.

And so with Portfolio Mohammed Okay Got No My Mother-In-Law Are Seen. She Knew Someone at Her Church and Glad John and Leah Was a Life of an Animator at Warner Bros. Animator Named Lifelong and She Said I Set up a Meeting with You and Lloyd Great Wonderful Lloyd Was One of Chuck Jones Is Stable of Animators. Chuck Jones Was a Oscar-Winning Cartoon Producer Director.

He Was Known Most Probably for His Bugs Bunny's Etc. Anyways so and Lloyd Was One of His Chief Animators See His Name on the Credits You Been Listening to My Chins Tell the Story of His Life, His Career Marine Moving from Town to Town. Findings Identity in This Thing Called Cartooning Dropped Out Of College Knew Uncle Sam Beckoning Him to the Chase, Avoiding the Draft by Enlisting in the Marines and It Was 1970 Marine Corps Became My Identity I Excel There Became a Combat Illustrate When God Beckoning to Become a Pastor.

Well It Didn't Work out. We Wondered What God's Plans Were for Him to Become a Christian. That Was His New Identity Drove down to Burbank Open to Work with a Christian Ministry, but Was Denied Only to Have a Door Open with the Great Legendary Chuck Jones in the Warner Bros. I Know Everything about Running a Coffee Shop Insurance I Need My State Farm Agent and Company. State Farm Is in Your Corner and on Their Call Your Local State Farm Agent for Quote Today and We Continue with Our American Stories. Let's Pick up When We Last Left off Mike Jones Telling Us the Story of Getting a Meeting with Cartoon Animator Lloyd Phone Is Known for His Work Warner Bros. Working from Legendary Looney Tunes Cartoonist Jones Is My House and Showing Him My Portfolio and He Looked at Mike, You Need to Be in Cartoon Animation Really Yeah Cartoon Animation Here. Let Me Make a Call for You. Back in 1977 and so He Gets on the Phone and Call the Guy by the Name of Harry Love Harry Was a Animator at Hanna-Barbera at the Time and He Was Also Teaching and Night Class on Animation Carry on the Phone like This and Mike over and Have Him Show You His Portfolio, Which He Did Well There. Met Harry My Portfolio and Harry Goes Mike How Would You like to Be a Night Class God and I Said Absolutely Love It. So That Night I Am Learning How to Animate Them Sitting at the Desks of Animators Who Animated on the OB Bear Greyhound Flintstones I'm in This Place Is like for Cartoonists and I Had Arrived and It Was Wonderful so for the Next Couple Months Going to the Class of Night Learning How to Animate and like All the Bells in My Head Started Sounding Because I Had Now Arrived at the Cartoonist. I Love to See My Drawings Animate so I Have These Five Shows That I Created While at Hanna-Barbera Lincoln Paint Department and We Learned at the Harry Loves Class. The Donation Was Hiring a System.

Animators Go All out, I Would Be Cool That Halliburton Tarzana Most Kinds of Saturday Morning Show and a Guy by the Name of the Luer One Was in Charge of the System Animators Their Filmation He Saw My Stop. He Said Mikey Got a Job so I'll Send Now for Making a Painting I Now Official Assistant Animator Working on, You Know, Mighty Mouse, Fat Albert Tarzana, Etc. These Shows Were Being Shown on 70 Morning Cartoons Which I Was Just Completely Thrilled about.

And Furthermore I Was Making a Decent Salary at That Point Was Able to Join the Union Cartoonist Guild and My Wife and I Were Able to Move Out Of the Parents House Was Supporting Us at the Time and Move into Her Own Place. Anyways, I'm Now an Assistant Animator and Worked There until the Christmas Season, at Which Point I Got Laid off Everybody. Most People Get Laid off at the Christmas Eve Because That's When the Season and and during That Holiday Break over the Christmas Is When the Producers Are Trying to Sell Their New Shelves to the Networks but Here I Am Unemployed Have Got Bills to Pay and Wanting Okay Got What We Do. Kathy and I Prayed Course Hand. So I Went Driving around All over the Different Animation Studios with My Portfolio and and Trying to Find a Job and Nothing Was Available.

All Shut down for the Season Anyway, so Here I'm Driving along Kalinga Bowl of Our in the Burbank Area and I See the Hanna-Barbera Studios.

There and I Just Popping in and Are Popping.

Michael Going There and Try to Get a Job There. Now Why Would I Go There When I Just Worked Earlier and Got Laid off. Anyways, I Went into the Studio Parking Lot Was Empty. And That's Not a Good Sign That Tells Me That They're All Laid off to Walk into the Studio and Went up to the Receptionist and Said I'd like to Know If There's Somebody Here I Can Show My Portfolio to Job and She Said and I'm Not Getting Hold on Let Me See If Bill Hanna Is Available. Register What She'd Just Said Bill Hanna of Hanna-Barbera, the Guy Who Created Huckleberry Hound the Flintstones and All of Those Great Cartoons or on Television. She Said Let Me See If I Can Get a Hold of Bill for Two Seconds Later, Mike, Bill Hanna's Office. So Here I Am Shaking like a Leaf with My Portfolio and I Went in There and Mary Was Getting at His Feet up on the Gas. Bill Hanna. I Introduced Myself and Got My Cam so I Brought out the Five Shows That I Created, and He Was Very Interested in Those. It Took a Great Interest. We Were There Talking in His Office for an Hour and 1/2, and at One Point He Brought in All of the Studio Heads to Introduce Them to Me and Mike.

Is Anybody Here Got Any Work.

I Know That It's a Layoff Time but Is Anybody Have Any Work for Mike and One Guy by the Name of Garage: Step Forward Yeah I Got Something That He's Interested in Doing a Coloring Book so I Saw Absolutely and It Gave Me Enough Money to Pay for Our Bills That Helped Us through the Layoff. I Was Then Rehired after That Pleaded Out Of Rehired by Filmation and I Met One of the Producers Mayor Don Christiansen and He Saw My Coloring Book and He Saw My Drawings That I Done That Showed Bill Hanna How Do You like to Be a Storyboard Artist Didn't Realize It at the Time, but This Was a Turning Point in My Career Doesn't Notice. Storyboard Artist Does Is It Takes a Script and Turns It into a Visual Form Visual Form Scene by Scene Shop by Shop Close Long Shot down Shot Shot All of the Different Approaches to Producing a Cartoon Are Done through the Storyboard Artist.

So Basically What I Would Being Handed Was the Ability Teaching Instruction on How to Create. It Was during That Time Actually Making 77 When I Came up with an Idea Called Theo and at That Point I Just II Thought You Know What Cartoons Are a Universal Language.

Kids Love Cartoons. It Doesn't Matter What Part of the World from What Ethnicity Really. People Love Cartoons. What a Great Vehicle for Communicating Biblical Truth Great to Be Working from behind My Animation – My Drawing Table Became IPO.

I Did Not Realize It. 1978 When I Created See That It Was Going to Take 30 Years before God Finally Gave Me the Financing to Produce That Series. But I'm Glad I Didn't Know What I Had to Go through with Basically I Left Animation I Started Working for Marvel Productions Spider-Man Fame to Play Chess in My Lunch Hour. Stanley Used To Be. He Beat Me to, but That We Had a Great Time. He Is a Great Guy but Anyways I Worked at Marvel for Seven Years Was during That Time That I Went from Being a Storyboard Artist to Being a Writer and Also for Being Also Being a Director Shows Finally As a Producer Shows Primetime Specials Produce Their Very First Feature Film, and I'm a Little Embarrassed to Say This but the My Little Little Pony Feature Film May Have Seen That before. That Was Me Who Produce That Interacted Listening to My Chin Demands Gory Story of an Artist. Actually Because This Is How Artists Live Job to Job in a Job Out Of a Job Fired, Rehired, Laid off Brought Back but He Stayed with the State Was Calling His Purpose and Soon Well Was about to Do His Own Show Conversation with That Secretary.

Let Me See If Bill Hammett Is Available There.

I Know Everything about Running a Coffee Shop Insurance I Need My State Farm Agent and Company Business Owners to Help State Farm Is in Your Corner and on Their Call Your Local State Farm Agent for Quote Today and We Continue with Our American Stories. Let's Return to Our Storyteller Mike Jones for Sharing How His Rise in the Animation Industry Working for the Likes of Marvel Production and Playing Chess Stanley in His Spare Time Producing Primetime Cartoon Specials like My Little Pony 1986 Featuring the Voices of Danny Melancon, Rhea Perlman and Tony Randall Here Again Is Mike Seidel for MDC Animated Version of Fry A Lot with Jim Henson Had a Great Time at Marvel Everything I Needed and to Have My Own Studio with My Own Cartoons Going through. I Left Marvel in 1988.

The Big Change in the Industry at That Time. A Lot Of People from New York Moving and Buying up Animation Studios Back in the Earlier Days. Studios Are Run by Guys like Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera. They Were Animators They Were Directors Units Automation Solution with an Animator Guys That Understood the Process and Understood the Artistic Mentality and Temperament so in 1988 Things about Change and Marvel Have Been Bought out by an Organization Called New World Entertainment and the Handwriting Was on the Wall Anyways Came to a Close and I Ended up Working for a Couple of Other Studios That Work for DreamWorks Television. Then after That I Worked for Savon Entertainment Where Produce Ratios for Them. They Ran Out Of Work, I Was No Longer Needed and so Now I'm Unemployed and It Was Kind of a Hard Time in My Life Because I Go I'm Not Producing Anything. I'm Not Doing Anything Nobody Wants Me. I Know the Sad Story and That Lasted for Three Years, but Again I Just Felt like Okay God What Is It, What Happened to Theo What Happened to That Vision That I Had Back in 1978 about Creating This Particular Series for You and One Day I Got Called into My My Father-In-Law's Mother Tell You What He'd Have a Small Business and 1/2.

They Might Not Work for Me and I Said Sure I Need a Job.

I Became a Machinist for Two Years Working in Machine and My Guess It Was God's Humbling Me Remake Myself Them. And so I Think It Was Kind of a Process of God Humbling Me and Teaching Me What It Means to Truly Just Sit and Wait upon Him Because He Is the One Who Is in Control, Not Me. And so Kurt Asked Me. My Father-In-Law Asked Me Mike How Much Would It Cost to Produce Theo and I and I'm Thinking You Know What You're Asking If It Would Cost Millions of Dollars Because the Kind of Animation I Want to Do Is American Animation, Which Is the Best in the World but Is Very Very Expensive so I Just I Told Him What Would Cost for Me to Do a Five Minute Promo Video If I Did, Gorilla like and Just Hire Guys and They're All Working Together. So I Went to One of the Animator Friends of Mine Fitfully Do This for 10,000, yet We Can Do It That Grew the Money Started Coming in, and It Grew and Grew and Grew and Grew and We Did and Commanded up Doing 17 CL 10 Minute Episodes to Theo Hundred and 70 Minutes Worth of Animation Extremely Expensive Millions of Dollars Worth of Monies Came in Anyways, That Theo Was Produced and an People Can Watch It Today See It Today and Go to Theo Presents.com That's How They Can Look at This Project, but the Dream Was Fulfilled.

People May Not Know What Seo Is Theo I Wanted I Created 1978. My Idea Was to Create a an Animated Theologian That I May Scare People Logic Framework Theologian, but Basically He's a Kindly Gentleman Who Lives in England on the on the Call Never and He Has Mice Church Mice That He Talks to Talk to Him Very Much Using the Medium of Cartoon Done in a Way That I Think Is Very Easy and I Wanted to You Just Wake between Meals for Anywise and He Teaches the Mice Because They Usually Mess up in Some Way, You Will Use That As a Springboard Launches into a Biblical Story As Well As He Will Wrap It up in a Way That Is Entertaining to Children.

If the Kids Are Going to Be Entertained and I Don't Listen to What You Have To Say so in That Sense Feels a Very Entertaining Project.

You Have Free Did He Say, for She Climbs. They Do Humans Have Many Sauce of Clouds Know This Is When the Church Means No, but Unfortunately People Sometimes Treat the Church like a Club Is Very Sad to Think of It As a Place Where People Think a Line Get Together. Some Looked down Going to Get Isn't What God Intended a Toll. Here Is What a Healthy Church, Fully Animated with Music.

The Animators That We Ended up Getting 30 Years Later for Animators. Why, Because at That Time Which Was Not the Case. In 1978 When I Created the at the Time CGI 3D Animation at Pixar through Picks up Everybody Was Doing This Kind of Stuff and to Be Animator Additional Animators.

Most of Them Were No Longer Needed Some Very, Very Talented Men and Women Were Suddenly out on the Streets and at My I Was Able to Hire These People Work on Theo When the Time Finally Came and Also We Had from Top Rated Guy by the Name of John Sponsor. He Had Worked with Parts of the Caribbean Franchises. He's a Brilliant Composer and He Was Available to Work on the Answers Every Single Episode Is Scored and by That I Mean, If Not Library Music, Typically in a Cartoon Show Television Show They Will Create Library Cues. This Is a Cue for Sadness. This Is a Q4 Adventure.

This Is a Q4 Excitement or Whatever Danger and When the Editing the Film Will Bring Those Cues out to Help You Underscore a Picture Not the Case with the Every Single Frame of Film Scored Two Picture by John so I Say That Posting Because Speaks to What God Has Done and Allowed to Happen with the Creation of This Project.

I Had to Wait 30 Years. Yes, It Was Worth the Wait.

And Now I Have Finally Retired.

I Am Writing Books and Living Here in Montana Enjoying the Place That I Always Wanted to Live Quick at the Time When I Got in There Were No Cartoons in the Animation Studios Here in Montana Anyways.

That Is How I Would like and My Whole Story Here, and I Hope You Enjoyed a Great Job in the Production by Greg. Special Thanks to My Chin Sharing with Us His Story.
