Here's what got me thinking about this this past weekend we had our 23rd annual missions conference just absolutely amazing to see what our grads and our friends and colleagues have been doing around the world serving the poor, that hurting the outcast, bringing the gospel in practical ways meeting people's needs. Just amazing. From from say in the Philippines.

We've got many many works going on. Many grads and and colleagues. There, but working with children, little children, little little children, babies that have been sex trafficked.

I mean it's mind-boggling. Taking the men caring for them, giving them a solid home in an orphanage with other kids in the spiritual moms and dads of his educating and caring for them from doing that to all in Tanzania, one of her missionaries been there many many years, began taking boys in caring for them and then just turn into another orphanage or taking street kids that were just absolutely destitute and then one good work after another, working with church plant and they were helping one woman. She was so poor Sheila kids didn't have a toilet in the in their home, and because of wind and bad conditions that decides that they that.

Let's just say they weren't even when the own home, protected and covered and they went and built a toilet for them. I mean, the village was applauding the elders and the thought of you. They're all excited for the you think something that's small it was massive in their life.

And then on and on from all kinds of outreach and other constructive work that's being done. One good thing after another and literally as I heard our work is sharing and I know them.

Note some of them for 25 years of some even longer in some cases, but some been on the field mouse straight for 23 years elusive. They been serving faithfully different countries.

There are some of the first to go out and as as I hear them speak. I'm just saying myself amazed were saying about month amazing amazing amazing just so blessed to hear the reports and the praying and the cry out in the seeking of God. Just beautiful and wonderful about one of our grads is been on the field with his wife. 23 years serving in Mexico now in different nations around the world serving with organization.

He reminded us and reminded me of something that I'd said he was. He was a trained nurse and he said I made a comment that we can heal a broken leg and only God can heal a broken heart that stirred his heart to get out and go on the mission field. The world expects the church to do all kinds of good works. The world expects the church to be caring for the poor and the need and when there's a disaster for Christians to be there. They may not always acknowledge it, but there is this expectation well you should be doing that want you to sit it may just be used to batter us barges are more this ocarina, but there is the expectation that we should be doing good works as followers of Jesus. The world expects us the world also thinks that our leaders should not be hypocrites. Now, of course, Christians get a bad rap in the media. We understand the world is not going to paint a beautiful picture of the church.

That would be the surprise is a rockstar do what you want to do, etc. not a surprise that they live. Many of them abusive lives on the other hand. By the minister the gospel your surprised and and the world. Although the worlds become more more cynical towards this. It still brings more reproach because were not supposed to be like this. So the world expects the church to be doing good works. The world expects ministers of the gospel to live differently in the world expects that the church is supposed to be loving that the matter what shape you come into the building.

You should be loved now, the world will turn that into affirmation no matter what state the person comes in the matter how the living about what they're doing. They should be a firm notice of the gospel gospel's gimmick centers very very uncomfortable but they can be except right where they are and loved into the kingdom of God and into transformation when we live like this and I've seen on the ground of CNET where the church has been caring for their community for decades and then that church comes under attack by the media because of the stance they take the people in that community that are not so quick to condemn the church over a godly righteousness because they know them. What about the others that will yeah that's ongoing because I'm not. The saying is trustworthy and I want to insist on these things so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works.

These things are excellent profitable for people but avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person's true subdivision after wanting him once and twice have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful. I'm very active in causes of familiar voice seeking to equip and help, but because so many of my friends and colleagues are on the front lines out doing incredible good considering the broadcast is a listen to them share I just kept saying amazing amazing amazing amazing and you know this one a pilot being trained to to go out front your mission is where you take the needed medical supplies and outlying areas.

This is a pilot so is going to do this for the Lord and his and his wife is a mission. So as long as we've known her she's pray.

Maybe she's been a nurse so that he could bring the medical supplies and she is there still displaying about that part. But this is what our folks are doing. Of course in America and around the world. So what we try to do now support them. We try to do is is is help underwrite some of what they're doing so everyone that supports our ministry.

Just so you know this. Everyone that supports our ministry or monthly torchbearers or monthly supporters. Those that they give one time gifts are periodically certain times of year. Thank you to each and every one of you, the firstfruits of your funds go to support missionaries around the world. The for the firstfruits of what you give us. We are able to turn around and support front-line workers and then my goal is to travel around the world to support and strengthen those on the front lines by pouring into them there so many different ways that we can be involved in in doing good you can support Samaritan's purse, which is pouring funds and into Ukraine.

You could say well this is this is money that can be used on something else but to choose to be involved in doing good. It does mean that you have to go Ukraine to deliver the food yourself. That could be that you work at a local soup kitchen and you volunteer time to do that wonderful and it could be that you just raise your kids, your daughters, to to be good babysitters and they just help others in the neighborhood to the mothers that are really overworked and and mom and dad super busy and and try the put enough money desisted to live in's and hey skid night out though. We don't want the money. We just want to babysit egg ticket. Whatever it is there so many creative things there are so many ways that we can be involved in good works and again if the constraints of life. You say I don't think you understand my life at the end of the day all I have time to do is, collapse and unwind between household responsibilities response was that his response was on the job and any other other areas why serving volunteer in the church all yeah now into the soup kitchen two days we got time for that, but you can make choices to say funds of us, but this way instead I'm going to give to those that are doing this amuses one of our models and our intermissions, teaching things like that that if you can't go then send right and and this is all part of our good works.

But if some country felt they could use them with impunity or the games would be worse than the will better than the losses that am I losing their people as SICK people do sick things in my own spirit.

I have not sensed that were at that level that that there's this urgent warning of something that could be ready to explode with with terrible damage and casualties around the world.

A mess and thus saith the Lord of simply saying II haven't felt that we were that close to something. But it's wise to pray for restraint. It's wise to pray that God would restrain evil that even if there will be a time of of greater war for the river was seen on the earth state would like to provoke a lot of destruction before it's time. All right, I know these are heavy subjects with the being talked about. Under saying in my own heart. I do not have that sense of urgency to prepare prepare, but others do and it could just be that it's our prayers in harmony with the will of God that will forestall something like that happening or stop something like that happening, so I'm not one of those to the screen.

The skies fall in the skies falling. I don't feel it is it's it's falling in terms of the moral and spiritual disintegration of America. Barring divine awakening, that's for sure.

But as far as nuclear war simply don't sense that it's right at the door, but others who been sounding the alarm for years virtually in recent months were just to pray, and not just take it for granted. Okay I will go with you to Deuteronomy 13 totally changing subjects are right.

I made a comment last week that is grievous is false teachers, false prophets are as destructive as this is as much as the Bible consistently addresses the subject and rebukes those who are false teachers or false prophets leading God's people astray.
