The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network friends you're not crazy. If it feels like the whole world around you has gone crazy. The good news is we have the truth in God's work time for the light a fire with your host Google scholar and cultural commentator Dr. Michael Brown your voice for more nationality and spiritual clarity.

Call 866-34-TRUTH to get on the line of fire and now there's your host Dr. Michael Brown what is it rebellion ends every society on the planet. What is it that stands in the way of the world completely losing it and absolutely self-destructed. On the one hand there is God's restraining power and in certain ways. He works so as to not allow total chaos to happen. Still, giving us certain liberties and freedoms of choices at the same time it is the presence of God in his people is the word of truth in his people. We are the salt of the earth and we are the light of the world and is we stand strong. It stops our society from totally going crazy without the church there would be absolute madness. Now's the time friends, you and I to be healthier and stronger than we've ever been and I'm here is your voice for moral sanity and spiritual clarity to help infuse truth encouragement and hope and strength in you. That's exactly what to do today measures him to call me to open the phone lines to all questions on all subjects of or from whatever background 86634 866-34-TRUTH 87884 that means is we done hundreds of times. I warmly extend an invitation to those who differ with me to those who have different perspectives but culturally bit morally be a politically bit religiously be a theologically, by all means give us a call 866-34-TRUTH, right.

Let me give you some perspective that I hope will be helpful.

There are some in our broader society, especially people who non-Christian nonreligious who will look at many conservative followers of Jesus in America and think what you guys have this fixation on homosexuality what you have this fixation on transgender issues when you guys get so worked up over this. I mean it's just a tiny percentage of the people and just live and let live what you so fixed on this.

What would you have issues. I understand people asking those questions, but here is what the people asked those questions may not know if you been going to church regularly for the last 50 years or the last 40 or 30 or 20 or 10 whatever it is you been attending regularly for good number of years. I doubt that on a Sunday morning, you have heard more than one message in the year that just focuses on issues having to do with homosexuality.

Transgender activism maybe you haven't heard one sermon in many many years. When pestering Giglio was scheduled to pray at present Obama's second inauguration and he was invited to do so because of his work against human trafficking, it was discovered that this fine evangelical pastor 15 or 20 years earlier had made one reference in one message with compassion, reaching out to to those with same-sex attracted homosexuals and offering them new life in Jesus because of that he was disinvited he had to step back politely.

It, in other words it all these years of preaching he are they would talk about it at all. That's actually loan they have some churches that focus on on these things more, but they are in the tiny minority in the ever broadcast like this that deals with moral and cultural issues.

Much more so we'll talk about it. But the reason that this is an issue. The reason that some of us are drawing a lot of attention to it is because it's not just a matter of what people are doing in private with their own lives or just having a live and let live mentality is because there is an effort to indoctrinate and change the mindset of those in the larger society is it will prove it.

Okay I'm about to. I'm about to. I wrote an article for the daily wire and exclusive for subscribers to the daily wire someone to take you into that is non-subscriber and you could.

You can read the rest by subscribing there. It's called sociological contagion and the growing non-binary movement. Sociological contagion in the growing non-binary movement. So here's a resource.

According to a controversial 2021 Barna poll, nearly 40% 40 nearly 40% of Genesee described themselves as being somewhere on the LGBT Q spectrum, a 2021 Gallup poll because of them in half but still notes the upsurge in numbers roughly 21% of Genesee Americans who have reached adulthood. Those born between 1997, 2003 identifies LGBT that is nearly double the proportion of millennial's who do so.

While the gap points even further when compared with older generation so even even gallops lower figure still point to a dramatic upturn in LGBT Q and identification, especially compared to previous generation. So here the gout numbers Genesee, born 1997, 2003, 20.8% of those polled identifies some of the LGBT Q spectrum millennial's born between 1981 in 1996. That's 10.5% of them identify some of the LGBT Q spectrum Gen X, born 1965 to 1980. It's 4.2%. My generation, baby boomers that's born 1946 to 1964, 2.6% and then traditionalists so those born before 1946 0.8%. So friends you tell me how how do you get from less than 1% identify some of that spectrum. This people who when there polled so that their older notice as many live but still born before 1946. There many many millions of Americans that they fit in the category less than 1% would self identify some of the LGBT Q spectrum. My generation baby boomers is 2.6%. Even Gen X 4.2% why the dramatic jump to 10.5% of 1% to 20.8% with density. Workers of the bar pull 40%. How does that happen without indoctrination is not there something in the water. People drinking the water in their suddenly becoming gay or the breathing in the new awareness of the becoming transgender, especially the younger they are, the more prone they are to just say he will him by, go either way. Or they want to leave your options open or it's cool 25 square is new cool thing or as part of the rebellion against elders for status quo or the quote gender binary that there's male and female will rebel against stuff when you're younger and this is a common look back in the late 1980s there was groundbreaking work done by two gay sociologists in conjunction with other gay activist organizations, mapping out a strategy as to how they would change the thinking of Americans and the water should book came out gay activist to the stable sales. No big deal, but became a national vessel who was buying who was reading, and is called after the ball and it's how America would would get rid of its fear and hatred of gays in the 90s that the subtitle is paraphrased so it was by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen to Harvard trained sociologist in the layout strategy now in the book they say look but in the goals of the book is brilliantly lit as it were the goals of the book were nowhere near will reorder it. In other words, in their wildest dreams. They didn't see things going as far as they've gone today.

This even beyond their expectations and goals and they say look, let's use the figure 10% for the population that that's gay or lesbian or relentless use template. We know it's not that hot. We know it's not is what they said we know is not that high and and maybe would've argued for 5% of his will for you for 3%. This we know it's not that high but it's a good number use as of that became the talk about one in 10 woman 10 woman 10 woman 10 monitor that was a talking point for years.

Lo and behold, millennial's exposed to that bombardment. Day and night.

They identify some of the LGBT Q spectrum, one in 10.

How interesting is that but but here I want to read this quote and I have this at the end of the article. This is, this was their strategy.

Okay, this was their exact strategy. They said this is the exact title after the ball. How America will conquer its fear and hatred of gays in the 90s. Their goal was quote the conversion of the average American's emotions, mind, and will through planned psychological attack in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media. This this was their strategy and the layout brilliantly in the book. I let let me register. Again, this is their goal.

The conversion of the average American's emotions, mind, and will through planned psychological attack in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media that you add into that the educational system, medical professionals, social media, peer pressure results have been devastating and it it's what psychologist would refer to as sociological contagion that something spreads through society and people just get caught up with it and it's as if it's in the water or in the area just out there, especially now with social media and smart phones and everybody being costly connected that you skip aboard instantly and constantly and brainwashed and indoctrinated. It just is like a flood and absolute flood and people are influence. Add to that demonic deception. Add to that Satan is hordes walking work behind the scenes to destroy people's lives with friends. It's no surprise that we servicing so why is it that we have been drawing attention to this for so many years because we saw where it would go because we've warned about these things for many many years in writing and on radio and on TV and other formats and books and things like that.

The site this is going to affect your kids and grandkids this is going to affect every liberties. This is going to be a principal threat to freedom of religious precautions. That's why we have raised these issues that asked for sociological contagion. How many are old enough to remember the Cabbage Patch dolls. In fact, I would. I would love to hear from some of you who were kids run 83 I think the craze exploded members got a picture of one of these, we can purposely speak some of you watching on Facebook or YouTube will remember this Cabbage Patch dolls. I remember when when our daughter who was what lease six years old when the craze had she just had that she had to have a Cabbage Patch doll is before there is social media and imaging MTV albums she had. She had to have one, and Isaac his father had to get one for her if I could in the Army families would camp out overnight in the stores you have there.

They attack each other violently.

It's just a craze and then afterwards the kids throws the doll side doesn't care about the G remember that if if you're a kid back then you remember what you felt like her, why you had that this I love to hear if that's the case, or parent remotely releases its example of sociological contagion, but now some of doll now is can sing on queer entrance by friends. This is why we must bring more sanity exposure.

Let's do it together. If the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866343 here again is Dr. Michael Brown has been enjoying us fire Michael Brown delighted to be with you friends. We want to keep you abreast of the latest updates. Key articles rewritten key videos. We put out in one of these days, things get taken down on social media.

This we will let you know going to ask Dr. Brown.org a.s. K. DR Brown.Oregon click to sign up for emails.

We will keep you updated. You will not miss a thing asked her to Brown.org white only go back to the phones or go to the phones in a moment, 866-3487 84 it was in 1980 seasoning 2004, 2004 that I got tremendously burdened by the Lord to begin to address issues of homosexual activism in our society of share this before, but be sure to get what I question my heart, Lord, why me I don't come out of homosexual. If that was part of my testimony.

I would sure that some of the background of them struggle in that area.

I've never had a particular burden to reach out to those with same-sex attraction of friends that were ex-gay but never had a burn to focus on that and my PhD is near Eastern languages and literatures from New York University. My professional ministry training is all in a different direction, not a psychologist or counselor or something like that so why me and what I began to sense immediately was nobody gets to sit this one out. This is ultimately going above everybody and you need to be on the frontlines of pushing back at the same time I knew that was only half of it.

In other words, pushing back against the magenta that I felt was destructive to our culture into our country much about hurting individuals, pushing back against an agenda.

I knew it was only part of it.

I knew that God also cared about people that it was not just an agenda, but it was people. One pastor commented that if you say, six homosexuality to my generation.

We think an issue you say to the generation they think a person and it's both.

It's it's both an agenda and issue and it's a person so I really prayed that God would give me his heart. I I made appointments to meet with local gay activist just to sit with them share their story here their heart. I read whatever books I could buy people set I tried to be ex-gay and it didn't work. And now I'm a gay pastor. I would read some stuff and and just weep as my heart broke for the people in it was early 2005 that this came together in my heart with the word reach out and resist reach out to the people with compassion resist the agenda with courage so much of what's happening in the world around us today as crazy as it sounds, we and others have been talking about for years and documenting it now that it's reach this proportion where transgender issues have just swept the nation. I mean, it's the Biden administration versus Pacific states in America and if it's different. It's different countries around the world say hey we made some mistakes we better pull back and try to transition children, things like that it's it's become this national discussion we started tell you if you like what you wish to talk tongue mothers like you get so many of things to come. It's okay we have a sub doing Jewish evangelism we haven't stopped on simulations we have is the pouring into missionaries to to set out around the world. We haven't stopped doing Jewish apologetics we have and stop debating we haven't stopped doing everything else we do it. Were we that we haven't stopped traveling preaching. We haven't stopped writing commentaries were regularly those were doing everything we've always done, but now we've added this in as well and I told people I feel like like an umbrella salesman in the desert.

That's I feel like an umbrella salesman in the desert and there's no cloud in sight and were building warehouse after warehouse filled with umbrellas and people said Dr. Brown, why are you doing this because storms, storms, and what comes will be of the manufacturing process of people metaphorically speaking by the Ceballos from us for years now because the rails wall. This is your home no regular issue with her 15-year-old daughter, who suddenly identifies as a boy that now we've got an issue you might my spouse is actually same-sex attracted I'm interested in me anymore. But what we do here we are kids coming from school.

The book develop a this is a pretty picture the end and the two boys are kissing in the present one. This in your booking or first grade so these are the issues now before us, but we been telling you for many years there coming. The good news is I get this little later in the show. The pushback continues told you for years with those on the left. The radical left those radical activists.

LGBT Q they will overplay their hand and we are in the midst we are in the midst right now of the pushback key thing is, and must ultimately be driven by the gospel that governments do what they do with the media do it does let others pushback over the pushback, but lit us lead the way in prayer and reaching out with love and compassion to those who differ at the say hey were not against you, we don't hate you may think.

We hate you because we don't believe in same-sex marriage and discuss things but we were sure God has a better way to build relationships get involved with people's lives because their fellow human beings created in the image of God, loved by God and for whom Jesus died and have the same mercy and compassion, and then the God head on you and me went when we did not see things God's ways and we had our own perspectives through prayer, outreach, love, and then standing for what's right with help turn the tide ought him to go to the phones and here we go, let's go to Glenn and Dayton Ohio are you listening on truth 106.5 is that the the frequency and Dayton archery. All right, cool. All right. Well Gwen, I remembered it from the quality of the day what's up Sir I just wanted Christian people and we are constantly recognizing that were not perfect but were struggling to be as righteous as possible. I think the issue for a lot of people, but these with the homosexual right in the way. It's all handled in society.

Most others that are not within the minority. Mostly feel like a loop and let and let them do what they want to do so. They let us do the thing. However, there my perspective those folks are pushing your agenda very, very aggressively down our throat, our children and to need guidance were unfortunately the gloves trying to come off because my number one responsibility is to protect my children's innocence but everything that I have always found the greatest of subjects on your program. I love listening. I listen every single day on my drive home from work and again I just like it was a good opportunity to say while we love the Lord, we realize there has to be a place I was in a management meeting at work yesterday.

We were disgusting moral like little Legos.

We also want Mr. Baker's smaller but as you fit together to make a bigger picture. There is a place for each one of us it's a matter of figuring out out employer hurt like the Dickens on one of us get stepped on for as far as far as our point of view mostly go so I think most Christian people say we would sit back and be part we would turn the other cheek, and appoint your where it just feels like the homosexuals. The LGBT Q 30 present gains some momentum going to go to keep the momentum going and they're just wait till I feel like I'm I can safely speak for many others as well and say like produced human it down her neck. The researcher mind will pretty we don't like that minority has the right to control the rest of our majority was old English yeah and I appreciate you weighing and thanks for being a regular listener sent out to everyone listening a little 6.5 truth and Dayton. We we welcome news. Lahore new stations to make sure the care updates Esther to Brown.org sign up there. Would love to stay in touch with you.

So if you're just what's important understand II saw this immediately, it became very clear.

I remember reading the book by Alan Susan Craig Austin, the homosexual agenda was that this is the principal threat to freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and American thought.

While it is, it really is so here's what I began saying years ago.

Those who came out of the closet want to put us in the closet that measures the progression retirement activists right there. The ones aggressively come have a closet working the streets making demands etc. so they come out of the closet and and they said we want our rights. We look, let's look at it from their perspective this is a wave of always been what it has to be like this.

It's is natural for us to be homosexuals. It is for you to be heterosexual. This is been a gay activist argument right and if you're listening, gay, lesbian, and you think I got this wrong than then tell me: 866-34-TRUTH and tell me so here's the thing in their in their minds we we want to be able have our relationships openly walking the streets holding hands like a heterosexual couple could what was to be a law against it. Why should we be discriminated against at work. Your boss finds out that you're in same-sex relationship with you, dear jaw farm which we lose our jobs so we just want to be treated fairly, with equality under the law and and you believe what you believe. That's fine this live and let live wheat we want rights living for that to we demand to recognize our rights, as well as what we demand a recognizer right then it moved to really take away your rights than it moved to put you in the closet and in point of fact, that's why this is such an issue. In other words, if this is not a matter of redefining marriage for the whole nation right and basically codifying use of bigot. If you don't accept that if if use of the benefit you have your relationships, you do what you do more but not invading your homes until you can't. If your gay church wants to pronounce a blessing ceremony whenever but just don't try to change the whole society we make our whole ideology and now mandate that this must be taught in our schools.

But see, that's the inevitable direction it has to happen and hat. This is the way it must go in terms of the direction of the activism. That's why we've given the warning for so many years. That's what we been shouting from the rooftops because of the inevitable trajectory. Now the question is gone this far we can do this gossipy direct that the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH there again is Dr. Michael Brown. I ordered the employees. Why is through the whole family. So afraid of of you on must potentially take over the company. 866-34-TRUTH, eight, 784 Michael Brown delighted to be with you here in the line of fire flows open for all questions of all kinds friend and come back to you on mosque then wanted give you some encouraging words about society continuing to push back against extremism. But before I do, I did a chat, a live stream last night on YouTube broadcast and I guess it was on a couple times before that in remember specifics is because we get to do a lot of these as we have time and an opportunity so the gentleman host me just wanted to remind me that his viewing audience was largely Calvinistic reform and that my color some of the questions coming in us, and whatever because the whole thing was, I just came on answered questions so a good part of the time, and I imagine if he allowed the entire broadcast would been devoted to people following up with critics questions against me not not a syllable about what I've written what I've what I've taught and preached for decades saw me many, many thousands of pages of material. Many, many thousands of hours of material, but rather while I friend with such and such. They consider a false teacher or why don't I caught this one more and I thought it isn't that remarkable that there's a certain circle within the body that is really that's the focus and and everything is judged through that grid is supposed to. Let's watch someone's ministry. Let's take in who they are, what they stand for what they preach and teach etc. right will I emphasize and the only time some names come up as if somebody calls me on the phone during the show Mrs. how come you're on so-and-so's TV show or why wanted to attack this personally call them out more notes because I'm not talking about the mother was on the bring them up on that actively working with them many and work with at all.

And if it's it's a very interesting mindset and and when people said well you don't give because opportunities like: all, I'm looking we have open phone lines for people to call. I have extended an invitation to those who are critical of her ministry, who differ over hundreds of times I've often done it before coming on the errant social media hey, critics, skeptics, those who differ. You're welcome. Call and they don't call.

I give the applicant and then for those who actually have a substantial debate with me right on it. A biblical issue a doctrinal instrument of eschatological is your theological issue. I've said okay if you find a qualified representative link to debate because wanted to be fair right you put me in in the ring with with Tyson fury the world heavyweight championship champion and in a matter of seconds be knocked out cold. I might be killed by the power dispose but it's not fair.

He's a heavyweight champ the same way you can put me into debate someone even if their points are good points but they're just not qualified to do it site I defeats my debate was approved so want to be someone it's qualified good representative from the other side when I'm asked to speak on college campuses under on controversial issues. I request rather be giving a lecture. Can you find some of the professors were summoned qualified recognized by the community or they can take the other side and debate me, so people can hear both sides. I've tried to do that for years. Wheat we had a short-lived debate program on on the wakening network that was just up for a few months and then had shut down, but the challenge was to get people willing to debate me in a fair debate where everybody gets equal time so I try to put relevant issues on the table, day and night and we don't get a lot of takers with balance slows not good on their own radio because you control the mic not to be candid. I'm on shows it is much as the door opens, that are hostile to me.

As long as I get to speak as they control the mic they control the agenda, but at least I got a shot at it and try to get my voice out PC. No, I won't do it unless it's fair at neutral, moderate rate, let us have a fair, neutral, moderated debate. Many of the key issues we talk about here any of the key things I stand for.

Let's do it in these days that this of course is our schedules.

But these days you don't have to be in the same physical place to do and get all the funding for the video cameras in the right audio set up in the building to hosted you just do it online. Yeah.

So by door remains open. The fact is these issues that a small group of people with it with passion, focus on is not the focus of 99.9%. Are you listening and watching which is were here together. I did mention that just for the record that my door remains wide open. Okay, so Elon musk. I'm not looking to him as a bastion of godliness. He's deftly saying some good things that I agree with pushing back against the radical woke-ism of our culture right absolutely clear on that. And there are some things he's saying in terms of concerns about Twitter that are very valid concerns in terms of freedom of speech and personnel love to see them take it over and and and open up the way that he talks about opening up and see with his genius.

If things could be expanded in a much healthier way is right now just despair mine on Twitter not only the start of the power to ban the most powerful man on the planet at that time Pres. Trump but there are major media figures people with millions of followers as they will daresay on Twitter that a biological male remains a biological male matter how many hormones the person has them and have a sex change surgeries. They have their metabolic amount think that you ban on Twitter I mean is that radical that extreme. So what's the fear was the fear so here's here's an article on see CNBC Elon musk buying Twitter to have quote grave implications for civil rights, says urban league and then here's here's the actual quote here in a letter Monday to Twitter chairman Britt Taylor this is Mark Memorial, president of the national urban league, said musk has expressed concerning views around content moderation and free speech that are counter to the principles of creating an online community that is safe for marginalized communities and protects our democracy said with lucky protections and safeguards much the concerning activities in central including white supremacist propaganda racially to sacred voter suppression, tuition, disinformation, agreement, bias, discrimination, a hard international distress likely to proliferate under most ownerships of so first that's that's a massive presumption that is a massive presumption that will proliferate. The fact of the matter is, groups of the radical left eyeball because of freedom of speech is in been documented.

I've submitted a rainy leader calling for the annihilation of Israel, and he keeps his account and then then you just say Richard Levine will always be a male even if his name is changed to Rachel you get bad so it's completely the other way. All this is just trying to shift things out here my own views on how much freedom of speech should be allowed is really simple, though I'd need an attorney on with me and maybe some social media legal expert to flesh this out, but to me it's really simple. Are there categories of speech that are forbidden under law. Right we have freedom of speech is a fundamental American right, but that doesn't mean you are entitled to all speech correct. There are things that will break the law. In other words, if you stood on a street corner and let's let's say you're a white supremacist and you go into a black neighborhood, and you start screaming out all right regular golden house number here address here were gonna burn this house down when you shoot and kill everybody in their and on any given instructions on how to use your weapon.

I would be fairly sure that that would be illegal, rightly so.

Under are free speech laws. On the other hand, if if you stood in a streetcar in the middle of the city and said white is the best race as despicable as that comment is attacking other races. I think it's it's free. Just like when you have a black Hebrew Israelite extremists there as saying that that white white man is the manifestation of Satan is as perverse and corrupt as that is saying is freedom of speech to do it.

So in my mind the social media platforms are the same social media platforms are the same that if it's legal on the street corner. It should be legal on social media is legal on the street wanted to hold up naked pictures shouldn't be.

Shouldn't be the same thing on your social media platform so you have certain filters and in certain things could be banned and prohibited, but otherwise there is freedom and and as it's been said real freedom of speech is to allow people that you disagree with this a disagreeable things right. All right. Let me give you a bunch of highlight examples and go back to the phones a bunch of highlight examples of areas where society is pushed back some of it is his political, legal, some of it is is just grassroots kinds of things. But let's let's take a look at this and some examples of push back our society. Let's see. And I'm going back couple weeks on some of these to catch up about this from from Fox news, Lauren Probert declares runner up to transgender swimmer Leah Thomas rightful winner. So here you have Colorado GOP rep. Lauren bulbar was linear resolution the House of Representatives to honor the runner-up to transgender swimmer Leah Thomas is the rightful winner of the NCAA's women's 500 yard freestyle swim and it has to happen this push back against the absurdity of biological male smashing records of biological females. This from the daily wire audience wants content they believe and not wool corporations who hate them daily water CEO unloads on disk in the into a license agreement for the hundred million into investing and programming for children because distance got so activists and corrupt in their approach about this Wall Street Journal. Oberlin College loses its appeal. A court upholds a 31.2 million judgment against the Ohio school for defaming a local business, you just can't do what Oberlin participated in doing the course of said absolutely so how about this.

This is big.

March 31 Jerusalem Post finish court clears lawmaker of charges over homosexuality comments their there is a a finish parliamentarian established woman Christian in the world of politics and she had big comments over few years, differing with the fish Lutheran church's teaching on homosexuality, etc. I was facing potentially six years in jail for her comments.

I documented and silencing of the lambs in the finish court said no. This is a freedom she is allowed to have one more example society, different nations, pushing back against extreme friends. We told you this is gonna happen is happening all around us we come back we go to your calls to the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get on the line of fire by calling 866342 here again is Dr. Michael Brown thanks for joining us far 8664 truth. Let us go to William and Winston-Salem North Carolina. Welcome to the line of fire dark brown. Thank you very much question, member of the Methodist Church and about three years ago. They out of the Raven of boat on same-sex marriage which it was a worldwide boat which luckily the reason you're probably familiar with that but they voted against same-sex marriage, but not the church and will and must discourage you pretty much fractured our charge because I would say half of the people will work for same-sex marriage in half when not so I got into an argument with one of the members about it being in the Bible help all quoted that you know homosexuality is an and then they make a comment back to me that Jesus never said I was.

Sexuality was started. Viewpoint on the yes so first asked the question what did Jesus say about a husband beating his wife. The answer is nothing, will that mean it's okay for a husband to beat his wife see you first want to expose the there the ridiculousness of the question if if I say what did Jesus say about kidnapping children specifically Wally didn't address that specifically that it's okay to do so. You just will expose the argument from silence how bankrupt it is.

Having said that, the answer is yes, Jesus does address this three separate ways that he didn't need to because everyone knows that first century Jewish teaching absolutely forbade homosexual practice. In fact, it was considered to be so uncommon in Jewish circles it was fine for two man that we may be studying in a study hall together to share a bed because homosexuality was just not an issue. It was considered that off-limits for for Jewish men, but even so, Jesus addresses it in three separate ways.

Number one. Matthew 517 a minute I'm getting give you link to a video that will lay this out very specifically in six minutes so everyone in Matthew five verse 17 Jesus said he didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. So what is he do with the moral commandments of the Torah, like it says don't commit adultery. He takes it higher is this domain commit adultery in your heart right. It says don't murder. He takes even higher. Don't hate your door, hate your brother so in the same way we know that Leviticus flatly forbids homosexual practicing is detestable in God's sight.

So Jesus takes the moral commandments of the Torah hired as abolish them right. He fulfills them he brings them to their fullest meaning. That's the first thing then in Matthew 15 beginning verse 19 Jesus says that what what comes out of your heart to follow through, not the food you eat. The comes in your mouth, but what comes out of your heart, that's what defiles you so. He then lists the sins of the heart. One of them is sexual morality is in the plural in Greek tornado that means all forms of sex outside of marriage to file the individual is Matthew 15 that absolutely included homosexual practice in his day, then Matthew 19 verses four through six.

He defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman, as God intended from the beginning. United for life, so he tells us what marriages Matthew 19 436 Union of one man and one woman for life. He tells us in Matthew 15 that all sexual acts outside of marriage.

The file and he tells us in Matthew five that he reinforces the Torah's moral commandments.

So there's no question where he stood on it, just in question were pollster. There's no question were Moses stood, you got that with the issue that the witness of Moses, Jesus and Paul which is overwhelming, strong and and of course Paul writing to the Corinthian says some used to be like that used to be adulterers used to be engaged in homosexual practice used to be drunkards but not anymore because you can change through the gospel. So that's that that's the hope of the gospel. As for the Methodist Church. Sadly, the whole reason that the vote for same-sex quote marriage was shut down was because of conservative churches Methodist Church is that hell to the Bible in the continent of Africa and in countries like Russia or otherwise, if it was left to America the Methodist Church of America has gone liberal by and large the conservative parties were small so now they're officially a split over, you know there's going to be the wing that holds to the Bible and the wing that holds to the traditions of people and and you watch and see that the ones that hold to the Bible by larger the ones that growing stronger and the ones that have departed from the Bible will keep losing members as is happened with other denominations have gone through the slits so the key thing is to be with people of like heart like mind that that believe in the authority of Scripture that love Jesus and whether it's the same church or in another one gobble will plant you. So William, if you go to my website. Asked Dr. Brown.org Esther to Brown.org and then/consider this make it one more semester to Brown.org and then/consider this, you'll find all 10 or 11 videos. We've done the first one can you begin Christian and I go through six minutes with the Bible says deal with the objections was really concise asked Dr. Brown.org/consider this and then you'll see the very first video can you begin Christian. Circulate your friends you find it very helpful and these issues are clear as day, which is why there was never really any debate about it until after the sexual revolution of the 60s going to the 70s endless commentaries that this test almost no debate about these things because it was universally understood what marriage was a man and a woman even if you could have polygamy as things that are still understood the two essential ingredients one man one woman but out that there's no such thing as marriage, a way of thank you for the call 866-34-TRUTH. Let's go to Bruce and Duluth, Minnesota. Welcome to the line of fire. Thank you Dr. Braun reporter speak to you. I wanted to get your viewers and this is not on this topic@what are your thoughts about the video series movie series put out by Dallas Jenkins called the Trojan writer cylinders edifying to believers like myself right so I've I've only watched the syrup of only watched select episodes.

I have friends of mine that absolutely love it. I mean solid believers absolutely love it and for sure I farm other four rather, the people watching that than some into the trash that's out there.

My problem is is a biblical scholar. The moment something deviates were slightly different historic I get distracted so I want to go back to write.

I have it on Billick Imam done just writing and praying and everything scheduled for little while and maybe watch something. I've got it ready to watch Garth but I've only watched select episodes so my take would be of course it's document given exactly the way the Bible does. But if it's presenting a true picture of Jesus in terms of the basics of the gospel and people can watch that and learn from it. Wonderful. But but I can see more discuss it even though it's such a sensation that's out there. II have not. I have not watch more of it and I get hung up in ways that most wouldn't get hung up on the little details that if you try get over that and take it in as a whole.

So I'll give an update. Hopefully in the weeks ahead and let's see Mike in Burlington, North Carolina. Time is really short but I am ready to dive in.

Are you there there. Mike are touchy. What you must be listening on radio so this little behind what I see on my screen is how I talked to a gay couple. So I know you want an elaborate on up and only try get the call in before anytime so so Mike I would speak a gay couple. The way I would speak to any two of the human beings. In other words, their fellow human beings there created the image of God. Jesus died for them and they need to be saved, not simply because they're gay couple. The fact that they're practicing homosexuality sister manifestation of their fallenness and lostness just like were all lost without Jesus. So I would just get to know them.

I would be a friend I would take an interest in their lives. Then as the door opened I was talking about spiritual things is a drawer open I'd say no follower of Jesus will serve that's in smart things if they claim to be gay Christians. We love Jesus and were married and and and go our church were active in our community, then say hey so the real issues was the Bible say can we agree that an official has many different interpretations okay so then there than adamantly claiming to be Bible believing Christians.

If they do claim to be Bible believing Christians estimate to me like study the Scriptures on this together is are you willing to do that. Or maybe you give me a book to read. I give you a book to read. Maybe watch that video, I just mentioned Kenya began Christian say we should watch this right and again it's asked Dr. Brown.org/consider this and you see it first video pops up Kenya began Christian on screen or so estimated with a watch that with you and watch a debate where were I a colleague or debating gay pastors and things like that in if they don't claim to be Christian, then it's just a matter of how you lead them to the Lord and maybe oneself and one's not same if it was a heterosexual couple, but love on them as fellow human beings gets it gets to know them.

Take a genuine interest in their well-being and maybe one of them is open to the gospel here is not perceive it that they claim to be Christians. That's one approach is that a country Christians at all. Another may the Lord use you as a witness friends were at a time.
