The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network from the crisis in Ukraine to the pushing back against cancel culture to the controversy around the shroud of Turin Georgia covered today. It's time for the light a fire with your host biblical scholar and cultural commentator Dr. Michael Brown your voice for more savvy and spiritual clarity called 866-34-TRUTH to get on the line of fire and now there's your host Dr. Michael Brown we are friends here to strengthen you further here.

To call you higher, Michael Brown, delighted to spend this time with you on the modifiers number to call 8663 per truth.

866-34-TRUTH 87884 I want to put a particular subject in front of you in a moment and ask for your calls on that subject. But we do cover some of the ground before we get to that subject. We are broadcasting again for the from our studio Christ for the nations in Dallas Texas appeared this week teaching on revival and the essential need for it for visitation.

My heart gets stirred as many times as I've taught on this. My heart gets stirred and I pray that as you listen today that same fire will burn that says God we've got to see you move God.

We've got to see the name of Jesus glorified God, we've got to see your people strengthen so the world may know who you really are all right before we talk about Ukraine before we talk about pushback against cancel culture.

I have two guests who will be joining me at the bottom of the hour.

They are very strong and articulate advocates for the authenticity of the shroud of Turin. We had to guess on couple weeks back for Museum of the Bible as this very important interactive exhibit was being launched there at the Museum of the Bible will be there running through the end of July. I believe in Washington DC. But as we had discussion online about it. There are many who saying I believe it's real promising know it. It's not real for the following reasons. So, so let me bring these guests on it gets us back talk about the resurrection of Jesus. There a lot of fascinating things to do with this we get this get these guests on.

They will make the articulate case for the shroud. In the meantime, if you do not believe it's authentic or if you have serious questions that you'd like to think it's authentic you have serious questions give me a call 866-34-TRUTH and at the bottom of the hour will take some of your calls as well.

We have been getting emails from our missionaries stationed in Ukraine and from LeeAnn Peterson, who was on with us talking about Ukraine over a week ago. She still can't get back in there obviously from America. She was heading over.

Even with war looming, but is not been able to get back in. But there is one city. We had a whole family working there for many years is another family where were one of the women we sent out LeeAnn's friend married to Ukrainian pastor they been based doing church work in helping orphans and children. Indeed, some of them have taken refuge in Poland right now. Others remain in Ukraine and were getting updates of Russian troops okay there on the way towards the city then headed to another city of others city they could be coming to the it's it's not that well protected. It's just drills things home even closer and and then seeing headlines about the maternity ward in Ukraine being bomb children trapped under the rubble did Russia do it intentionally, that would be horrific. That would be an absolute war crime. They do it unintentionally. What would still be a war crime.

If it happens in that way because of the casualties because you can't just miss in these ways. Either way, there's a lot of suffering and then you think of many of the Russian soldiers that maybe did not want to be doing this or had no choice or thought they were fighting for some of the purpose of their dying letter suffering a lot of pain and we know that any moment. Things could ignite a much larger level.

Now it has been pointed out by some commentators that it's unlikely that Pruden would want to launch a nuclear war because he doesn't want to die. So how do you know that will just look at him when he's meeting with world leaders sitting 2030 feet across for them in the table because he doesn't want any chance of getting covert that that seems to be some of saying hey I value my life and I'm trying to preserve it and I'm not a kamikaze mission, but we don't know.

So the one hand you decide America. They'll just need to start step in and stop this thing phone that said, women, children, innocent people. Babies get until you can't let this happen. Just stop it. On the other hand, people say if you do that than many many more people will die many more Ukrainians will die mineral Russians will die. Many Europeans with many Americans will.why in the world.

When escalated, so again it's this it's this difficult situation and that's what we need to keep praying God, stretch out your hand and act your will be done in the midst of this conflict and give world leaders wisdom and restraint, but I know I know speaking personally, I get so focused on whatever I'm involved with in ministry and projects I'm working on that that I'll always have this in my head what's happening. Russian Ukraine, but is not foremost there so that that I'm not praying, as I also let's not just get used to this being in the news.

Okay, but let's keep this close to her heart.

As we continue to pray. I know many of you have been doing that that very thing.

No, it's not the only crisis in the world today, but it is one. It's right in front of her eyes with a very high level of visible suffering and the ripple effect implications could be very, very severe. All right I promised you this year that we would be drawing your attention to different ways of pushing back in our society today where people are saying no to cancel culture where people are saying no to the radical left where there is a taking of ground some of its secular some of its spiritual some of it mixed together, but I promised you that we be bringing you reports though if you don't yet have my book the silencing of the lambs.

The ominous rise of cancel culture and how we can overcome it.

You can get it on Kindle right now so Amazon Kindle at half the normal price so when things are made available. This is rare. A brand-new book be made available like this, but the publisher really wants to get it into your hands so and is the number one new releases in a few different categories on Amazon was pleased to see that limited dishonestly when I write a book. By the time it's published. It's months after was submitted to the publisher.

Every so often we get something out like instantly I can amidst covert regrets of things that instantly Yosef will write a book in like eight days. The publisher get out a couple weeks but for the most part you submit a manuscript, and when you're finished with it.

It's between nine and 12 months before he comes up is very standard with a publisher and then what I'll try to do is keep it is updated as I can through the editing process so that without looking at Richard to see your role will look at things much more recent, but by the time it comes out. I've already written one or two or three other books of working on other projects. So I like to refresh myself as to the contents of the book and what I'll often do is get the audio version of the book and and then I listen to it someone else reading it. So I've been listening to the silencing of the lambs, and I've been stirred as of listening to my own book you'll find a ton of mature in there. That's incredibly eye-opening example after example from society and then a call to be courageous and strong and once more, let me say there is a pushback taking place. There are those with a very different agenda, but invariably they overplayed their hand and people say what enough is enough. It's the same with the devil himself, he will overplay his hand. He will go to far because it's his demented nature to do that many people wake up in the midst of the process so I'm going to focus in a moment on some really interesting news with country music star Morgan wall and was basically canceled and the platform last year and and banned from the American country music awards and this year one.

He came in first in this category. So it's a bit of returnable come to that that that money we share some headlines with you all right and and we believe we been given these to you one after another of how about this one.

This is February 18 so so we do this every couple of weeks and catching up headline on Fox News. I'm a team USA world Masters track athlete mom and coach calling for the protection of women's sports.

So here's an editorial by a woman team USA world Masters track athlete. She's a mother she's a coach and she says if male bodied athletes continue competing on female teams. It will be the end of women's sports.

Once again it's this radical trans activism that's getting a lot of pushback society okay how about this cancel list.

This is on PJ media.com Dave Chapelle producing four comedy specials for Netflix the I don't think I've ever seen Dave Chapelle perform in a clip of him.

His comedy routines apparently makes fun of lots of different people, and crosses all kinds lines as comedians commonly do, and said some things that were upsetting to trans activists that my own position is I will expose the activism and the madness of the culture while reaching out to the people to the individuals with compassion. He's doing what he does is a comedian, so there is outrage over that he's gotta be cancel get them off Netflix D platform him while I imagine Netflix is looking at this more from money than for ideologies are not commending them for their moral stand nor migraine with all Dave Chapelle's humor, but it's interesting to see that obviously his fans still like epinephrine says okay for more common specials said canceling him, giving him more specials again. I'm not a fan of Netflix in many ways, and I haven't watched Dave Chapelle to be able to say like his comedy routines are not anybody. I'm sure he says things that cross lines I wouldn't cross just saying there's the push but we been telling you it's coming, friends.

We been telling. We promise to keep documenting it this year.

All right how about this.

This is on Bloomberg quick.com and the article is simply titled localism has peaked. It's an op-ed by Taylor Callan woke-ism has peaked.

I'm calling it woke is in the speaker still remain a highly influential movement.

It will probably continue to spread globally, but in the US at least localism and the woke will ebb I agree that things only go so far before people sit what this is crazy. You can't even say this is crack a little joke say something to give, one opinion it's not politically correct out canceled done with you Americans and I can have. I'm not just talking about what's happening in the church friends talk about what's happening in the wider culture.

This should encourage us as believers, how much more should we be standing and speaking and pushing back how much more should be be exposing how love lists this cancel. Culture is how it is lacking in redemption, how it is lacking in mercy how we should be the one setting the complete opposite tone. Yeah, you blew it.

But there is mercy, there's a new start in the cross yeah you said and did things that were ugly but you really repentant and trying to make things right. We welcome you and we embrace you, that's just see here. Let's go over here okay I tell you it will come back a few more headlines for you and then I'll get over to Morgan wall and then bottom of the hour structure and if you think it's real question does good time to call 66342 the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown on the line of fire by calling 866343 here again is Dr. Michael Brown joining us today. Fire by God help strengthen your moral and spiritual backbone as we stand together than others stand the Graham said the courage is contagious. So one person stands one person says I can't back down. I can't compromise then spreads and spreads event next. Things such as one or two it's it's so many standing up in that light shot down the date April 14, April 14. Starting next week I'll give you more details on it. If you really have the silencing of the lambs read the last chapter get more details.

April 14 market on your calendar and then read Esther 414 all right couple more headlines. This is from Finland.

Recommendation of the Council for choices in healthcare in Finland medical treatment methods for dysphoria related to gender variance and minor different countries. No Finland, Sweden. There there saying it you know we need to step back, many physicians in the UK since same thing when a kid presents his gender variant went when Sally whose is 12 is convinced that she's really Sam or when Andrew was seven is convinced is really Andrea that we need to change our approach in some cases there. There make it very dogmatic.

In other cases, there is more flexibility with your say we should put these kids on home about, or puberty blockers. The hormones we we we we shouldn't prepare them for sex change surgery but them.

Let's give him a chance to outgrow this. Let's look for other issues, let's look for other emotional things that are going on a little sanity remembered Kelly Nugent that was out of the Kelly Scott Nugent that was on with me a couple weeks back and raising her voice and shouting as loudly as possible about the dangers of transitioning children's over or over a week ago. If you haven't seen the show business shall by all means, check it out from last Wednesday, so March 3 and she's sending me notes. Here's another young person committed suicide is another.

Between seven and 10 years after the 16 surgery committed suicide. Oh, I thought this was going to fix everything know often very often quite the contrary. So people waking up people waking up. We been shouting about this for years people are waking up. Let's just see.

Hang on, get back to this headline of Jerusalem Post LGBT Q education and Israel's liberal left Atoll Gilboa comes under fire for challenging Orwellian doublethink.

So there are some on the left who were challenging and aggressive LGBT Q curriculum and children's schools. Again, people that you would not expect to be speaking up or speaking up in sync. What's going on and why are you doing this and why this indoctrination and why putting forward things the way that you are. How about this, this is Trey voices this is Kelly Scott Nugent, trans adults and others screaming stop childhood medical transition and breaking news Texas declares sex change procedures and puberty blockers for kids. Child abuse. This is Texas declaring that no Kelly on the air last week has taken great issue with Texas Senate, Gov. Abbott is received lots of money from transgender activists and things like this.

In any case and and and we've got some folks are to be investigating that just with intuitive to see what's what Kelly is given us a lot of information on that.

But the fact is, Texas is now taking public stand.

Yes, this is child abuse. Yes, there is a better way. All right, I'm gonna stop with headlines there get a few more but I'm not gonna get to them right now. Let's talk about Morgan wall.

I've never been into country music. No insult to country music. But before I was saved since have been saved up Marin into country music so I don't know the big stars. Maybe some of the biggest names I don't know the current trends or anything like that but Morgan wall was apparently very very popular last year. He's drunk's homies is outside of his house, talking, talking to a friend uses the N-word system. Other things in an appropriate somebody videotapes the whole thing goes public so is terrible easy shame for an and basically cancel overnight. Here is a quick little summary of what happened to him. Let's see. His music was polled by Cumulus media.

He will they. They sent a directive to its 400+ stations remove his songs for the playlist now instantly instantly iHeartRadio intercom cable network CMT satellite service Sirius XM streaming service Pandora removed all of his songs. 27 years old removed all of his songs a variety of noted that one's music is not currently appearing apart from sex, modify Apple music.

He was he was canceled from the country music awards. This was this was a year ago out cancel up he apologized profusely his own embarrassed and sorry, I used to ask it in acceptable and appropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back your no excuses to use this type of language ever want to sincerely apologize for the were using the word. I promise to do better. He donated 1/2 million dollars to the black music action coalition and other black serving organizations still cancel the way back, his sister Ashley was not happy with this. This is what she wrote only three things you should ever have to do about a mistake minute. Learn from it and don't repeat it cancel cultures. The worst thing that has come out of our digital world that leaves no room for forgiveness and growth.

In turn, leaving no opportunity for individuals who have made mistakes to learn from them. If you make a mistake or do something stupid and apologize correct your mistakes and learn through personal growth not cancel coach you make a mistake, you're out you make it 10 years ago and comes out today.

You're out just as the world we live in's rise of trauma and bring others down. Refuse to be part of that if my family or my friends made a mistake and apologize under the listen accepted and expect them to learn from their mistake some of us truly sorry should be forgiven that continuously bashed you pet your past mistakes do not define you.

It is how you choose to move forward.

That doesn't have your proponent never said done something inappropriate you've ever wish you could take a word back or an action back and got caught something embarrassing doing some you should be doing. Don't you want forgiveness, don't you want redemption. Don't you want a way to make things right. Don't you want a waiter to move forward in the future Lansing to stick your head in the sand and make-believe.

It never happened when nothing don't take responsibility without minimizing how offensive some things can be, but should there be forgiveness and mercy, and redemption was interesting with with this tremendous attempt to cancel him. Variety reports December 20 of 2020. Once a few months back country star Morgan wall and is ending 2021 of the place. Few would've expected to find them a few months ago and the number one spot on Billboard's R&B hip-hop chart. He did a song called Broadway girls with lap wrapper little jerk so black rapper little church leaders like black rapper together. It came out before Christmas and it headed to the top of the chart as number one. So the masses a patent by the immense and it's a good song of similar skill that the semi issue a missing wow what a cool video. That's not the issue is just the masses of people like Tim and here is Georgia with African-American white guy and African-American joined together as number one. Isn't that interesting. And then this so it's it's it's Monday night, right, and he wins an award for album of the year from the Academy of country music, the 57th annual awards event so he's canceled he can appear there last year he wins album of the year there this year, CNN reported Morgan wall was removed from the Academy of country music awards ballot last year, country music awards about this year after being caught on video using a racial slur this year. He had a big night at any thanked people in his speech, who had shown him grace along the way friends I've been telling you and I will continue to tell you the pushback is here. The pushback is rising. Under no circumstances am I calling on us as followers of Jesus to be the new bullies will people been pulling us.

You can't bully us further bully.

You know that's that's the flesh, fighting the flesh right that that's overcoming evil with evil that's fighting bad with bad that southerly doing this Dr. King said darkness cannot drive out darkness only light to drive out darkness. I'm encouraging a couple things I'm encouraging once again this is a theme you'll hear from you over and over. Let's be better than the cancel culture.

Let's be better than the ones that show no mercy.

The redemption just looking at my clock correctly until the story quickly.

One of her friends who lived in Maryland when we lived there. She was in her 60s.

She had a PhD in biology very active in the pro-life movement. She was involved in a Operation Rescue event in I believe was upstate New York. So all these women were there others were there as well and they set out from the abortion clinic that they get arrested ^ off it really will awakens people for what was happening with abortion and sent out a message to the community, even if it only stops things for for a couple of hours while there on the bus they just been arrested there sitting at the women on on one bus and of another lady is arrested and brought on the bus.

She was actually a pro-abortion protester. She was there to protest against the pro-lifers was she is arrested, the police, mistake or she's arrested she's on the bus and she's trembling with fear because she's with all these evil monsters. Antiabortion activists are probably want to hurt her. Oh what they were just themselves. Were they were just Christian but they just love the Lord and loved her. She came to faith.

She reported she she had such a wrong conception of our side that when she finally ran into any change to life so let's be better than the cancel culture and let's lead the way and have encouraged systemic roots right parents with kids in school stand for what's right.

Don't be nasty. Don't be violent or threatening, but stand for what's right and speak the truth in love. Students on campus do the same. You may be ostracized by people who accepted all the more my God with you little by little type of pain you're okay right back with our special guest talk more about the tribe. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get on the line of fire by: 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown transferred running us on the far if you do not believe that the shroud of Turin is authentic because there is a major exhibit highly interactive high-tech exhibit at Museum of the Bible now through the end of July it substance can be coming up a lot in discussion in the news and it's really fascinating so I don't plan to be talk about this a lot but I wanted to devote a little more time and bring on some folks were really really enthusiastic and sing yes this is real.

It's even a sign from God. Salt is take a moment to introduce Mike much to guess Myra Adams is a Jewish believing Catholic will meet. We met because we both opposed articles on Townhall and in other conservative websites and she is the found cofounder and Executive Director of sign from God.org is a ministry devoted to educating people about the shroud of Turin. Also on with me today is Russ Breault will find out if I'm mispronouncing his name is been researching and lecturing on the shroud of Turin for over 30 years and is given a presentation called shroud encounter, which is been seen by over thousand audience across the US and Canada, and he's given presentations on colleges and universities as well as churches of all denominations. So without further ado let's bring my guests on Myra.

Great to have you on the air today and Russ as well, welcome to the broadcast. Thank you.

Hang around a great to be with you.

Hey Russ, how do you pronounce your last name Breault D'Auria AUL II got it, close right Myra. Let let's start with you sign from God.com way to discover board are you so enthusiastic about the shroud right from God.org.org.org at very important why Michael enthusiastic. I think it's because I firmly believe with all my heart that the shroud of Turin is in fact the authentic burial shroud of Jesus Christ. So for that reason, get me excited and it gets millions of other people excited because the mysteries that this clock has are unexplainable and Myra why what kind of impact. Have you seen that this is had on people when they see evidence or purported evidence of the resurrection of Jesus. Whatever effect does it have on people.

But I think you can have confirmation of pain or if you don't have faith. I like to look at at the shroud as the doubting comments of our time physical proof that Christ, in fact, would curtain tortured and crucified, and in fact died and call the shroud often conquer the world's first healthy because it it can reflect how he looked. I believe how he looked a second before he was resurrected alright so I've asked people to weigh in on social media with questions they had about the shroud because we had a guess on couple weeks back from Museum of the Bible.

A lot of post reposting this. This is real and others saying the camp real for XYZ reason. So in a little while ago to present some of the objection some of the issues and give you an opportunity to respond and enforce.

If you want to call in and raise your question about the Friday 663 freight 784 Russ what got you interested in the subject will probably make being in the right but the right right with their time or out of the writer of the college newspaper back in 1980 and newsletter.

I was huge at that time we had a whole team of blind go to Turin in 1978 and in National Geographic. They did a big red on it on June 1980 II like to write them articles on it. I got the green light that did a lot of research about binders to get the quote I got that demanded that there is the coolness. No you know that I think about it though, I've been involved everything I went when you give a presentation saying the college campus or university campus. You certainly will have a lot of people, professors, students who don't believe this is authentic have a real problem. Even with the idea of the resurrection of Jesus.

Have you seen people shift their views or have their eyes opened as a result, your presentation.

Oh, absolutely made the I've you know a man go in and all and all that is whether the academic core or military or churches.

I do you do a lot with the U.S. Army. The iodide and one younger group eat come up to me afterward that you know I was a vehicle I walked in here, but don't think there the hell out of me and I will probably a good thing, and that the dog I've had countless number of people that have told me or written to me emailed me how much of an impact that that it has on them. In terms of their fate and whether they were didn't believe it, all may be there at and you know had locked the questions and doubting, though it has it has a different impact on on every different person… And when someone says the scared the hell out of me. We we we hear that very literally we don't hear that is idiomatic but literally of Seattle set Samara in from your viewpoint. Having research this and we've interacted a lot of political things your thinking person. It's not just like your your religious fanatic and you can believe whatever church says religious leader says your happy to push back against the prevailing narrative and you got the courage to do it. What makes you so sure that this is real, that this is literally the burial cloth are part of the burial cloth, in which Jesus was buried and entombed.

Make a long long answer very short.

I would dictate that all the client today. Modern science literally and not explain why this image of a crucified man is on a linen cloth baked cannot explain it at all. And that's just in of the first major mystery.

There are so many more particularly, the thing that is most visual mystery of all is what's called the photographic evidence, and that was in 1898.

The shroud was photographed for the first time, and anyone who seems shroud know it's a rust colored paint little 14' x 3' cloth and you could make out the image but you don't get relief to get that much but when it was first photographed. What happened was, it became what we call a photo negative image and that led people to then understand that the shroud it felt is a negative and when the film was developed, it became positive so that black-and-white image that you often see of the shroud was not discovered until 1898 the first century there was a mystery that live within this cloth that when it was finally discovered in 1898 on the authorities, in turn, and in the Vatican like they didn't even know what to do with it. They basically told the photographer inquired about it and not even bring up again.

They had no idea why this mystery you even appeared within the clot and it wasn't until 1931 were photographed again in the same result happened on that only one of the many mysteries so it's really basically the more you know about the shroud the more the mystery. That is why effective Museum of the Bible exhibition is called mystery and faith and I literally helped spearhead it. Starting in May 2018 so they were kind of closing the loop here when you had the two curators of the meeting of the Bible on your show about two weeks ago sign from God rested is also a board member. We literally brought this idea to the Museum of the Bible to do this exhibit, and it opened up a temporary 26 God got it from my viewpoint. I would love for it to be real on that when Lucy comes in skeptically, but because I haven't devoted myself to studying the arguments back and forth. It remains one of these very mysterious, interesting things to me and I I'm absolutely planning to get up to the Museum of the Bible to see this interactive exhibit and its three opportunities to friends through July in DC, a very rare opportunity to get that not close to the physical item which which can't be moved, but as close as you can to something just like it and end of rust you you don't documentaries participated in history Channel and and a Discovery Channel of things like this, so you've heard some of the questions but one of the most fundamental questions that comes up is John's gospel tells us there are two different costs. There is a cost cloth around Jesus head and a cloth around his body is just one cloth so it's obviously not legitimate. How do you answer that well yet there was the there was a linen shroud. Then there was that map was about it at and the napkin referred to believe it is called to Darian of Oviedo framework and the 14 and the bug thought that mall back to all of this with the cloth that was wrapped around it fate after Jesus died, or being removed from the cross that would've been a tradition to cover the fate of the dead, and you can imagine Jesus was after he gave up.

It looked pretty horrible with blood coming down everywhere look on Thornton and just the pleural fluid coming out of his mouth and nose from the ordeal of crucifixion.

The lungs fill up the pleural fluid and it though. They covered fate that the remain on faith until they got a bite of the tomb. Then they would've placed them on the long linen shroud that map and it wouldn't bed that had been removed, rolled up late next to the body and then the and the balance of the shroud wrapped over him like that Nat would not have remained on a B because the big losers covered with blood and pleural fluid and the only cloth that would've remain on a if they did, it was in existence would've been the Jewish elite.

His paraquat, but that was probably gambled away by the by the Romans member the Scripture study They cast lots for his clothing is so and everything is good for it with the shroud having wrapped a a a a man died by Violet that where there is no washing of the body. No removal of the close, but in this case to make it anyway and we just been wrapped in a single linen shroud called it so bad and and seemed to be consistent with that so it so there's there's an explanation for John and the other three tablets that stay right there and will come back side of the bracelet are just barrette Adams and Russ Breault talk about the shroud of Turin. There is a line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown as friends for joining us rest. My guess barrette Adams and rust stay on this little bit longer for us and Russ. I appreciate the thoroughness of your answers.

We talk about shroud of current of the site that Mara cofounded sign from God.org.com but dot org Moammar Ike I get the same thing I'm doing interviews.

We are asked Dr. Brown.org and people often get in this.com so you want to give out the right site. There up Mara, what about the objection that there's really not a lot of talk about this and told me around the 13th century. This is a time when the church was looking for relics and people were just interested in that kind of thing, of how you respond to that really all based on carbon dating that took place in 1988 that has been thoroughly debunked so many different reasons. They never even released the raw data until 2017. After the first report came out, 1988.

Based on that, because they dated the shroud to like the 12 late 1200s and early 1300s about how that CAME about, but in fact it all points back to the mystery that cannot be explained. When I talked about earlier with no the greatest photographic mystery, you think about it. Photography didn't come around until the 1800 and time of the fact that this cloth had within it. You know photographic evidence that didn't come out until 1898. How could and middle ages artists even think about something like that. The concept of photography was just not even ever on his radar radar. This is no way it makes any sense that somebody could think that this was in fact relic from the 1300 because the mystery another one a mystery that was developed in the in the 1970s with 3D distant information so basically you have a 2D clock but you have 3D information on it.

It's like a mapping that that actually make NASA find that the developer that map the movement came up with this later to map Bob services with 3D that the 3D actually live within the surface, so you have these mysteries that the dating from the 1300s, 1250 does not make any sense, but if you need a way to just a bit because Michael you know as well as I do that the concept of an artifact that proves that Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected. Just freak people out for obvious many obvious reasons so silly to be back to you.

Russ, what about the church history argument that that some some abrasive I was pointing to that if if this was such an amazing thing in and there was actually people were in possession of the burial shroud of of the Lord, that certainly there were the been constant talk about this.

You hear it from the second century on you be able to trace his church history, it's here it's here seems to pop up in church history. Much later, like the 13th century.

So Russ, how you respond to that well be the presentation I did.

The Bible was dealt with just that we have about 15 Oracle references that that the shout all the way back third effective than the NDM order entry, there is the there's Pope Sylvester in writing by papal decree in 325 that that the that the that the math or the, the communion meal must be celebrated on a on a linen cloth, and if it were the clean shroud of krait and then in the fifth century. The very next century bishop, Theodore mopped US of Antioch, you develop the catechism and that that the that that that that linen cloth needs to be brought down placed over over the over the altar and that that the that the two deacons represent the figure on the linen cloth at the burial and then from the thick that you are you have them of their right of holy week.

This is liturgy that that it brought to Spain in the thick century and a translate John chapter 20 verse five and that that Peter ran with John to the tomb and saw the recent imprint of the dead and read the man on the lemon. I mean though that I mean I can't get any clearer than that and though there are numerous references to a through a cloth with an image on it. A blood dated, but John a full body image going all the way back to the third century, and though the issue with the shroud is that is that you, the it was it within a it was in a death there for a while and then it was stake in the Constantinople in 944 and then it was stolen during the fourth day in trouble for what we know for now that the shroud was in Constantinople in trouble or stolen by the French during the fourth day, week, we can actually prove it without any shadow of a doubt. And so it still wouldn't that do trouble be the alleged Barbie date is 1250 to 1390 while 1204 already older than the oldest carbonate of 1250 and it didn't get there. It'd been there since 944. Clearly, the carbon date is wrong for whatever reason and I have a good hunch as to what went wrong is because they cut one sample from the outside corner exactly where it had been held and handled over to hundred and 75 time from 1418 until 1694 is been held up manually by people standing on a flap holding up at that corner though it you were looking for the worst possible location yet will you pick from one of the two outside corners, which is exactly where been held in Andel. Most the time and maybe it may have been subjected to some kind of a medieval rate really were some kind of a repair which is what chemist Ray Rogers published in 2005, so this again friends are my guests have a ton of information I encourage you to look into it if you're wondering, could it be true if this is Morrison's beginning to be a further confirmation.

We believe without seeing, but of God left this than praise God for. Let's let's be edified by it. He let me give you each 30 seconds for smarter than than Russ is running out of time. What's your take on the exhibit at the Museum of the Bible obviously mire this really close to with you working to get this done.

But really quickly how you feel about what they did is a good jumping off point to pursue further study about the mysteries of the shroud the revamping the exam take no stand on its authenticity. Though you have to go in with an open mind because the museum really is just telling you what they know and they do not want to color your opinion one way or the other.

So go at it with that inner visited with that in mind, the one thing that is truly astounding if they have a replica that was made on a an ancient room and it was grown from the same kind of flaxseed that that was supposedly the shroud done with the other image of the man was imprinted on so they do have that replica you can sit in front replica and just ponder what it looks like in a course that is the need of the way it really looks the best way to see the shroud of courses to a 50 the photographic negative which is the black-and-white we can really make out the mark but still that replica they have is something to contemplate and just just study more to get you more interested then then go to the exhibit and then do more research because there is just so much more to know about the shroud and the more you know the more you want to know I Russ over to you.

The issue about the exhibit exhibit fabulous beautiful. They have a lot of interactive way that I think will capture people by young people and the shroud speaks for itself. I agree with my right you know they are no but they have to be objective about it but again you know II think I've just stated clearly is something that you really not going to get from the museum but but the beach shroud clearly had the that predate the 14th century and and go with that in mind, you know, I think the bigger the marble exhibit. Also some friends you see him of the Bible to try to turn interactive high tech exhibit through the end of July with a facsimile of the shroud. There is will he moderate Russ thanks so much for joining us and find out more go to sign from God.org sign from God.org. Thanks again for joining us. So friends again.

I I've never studied this in depth. I've never looked at this in depth. There are tons of things I haven't studied in depth.

This is one of them, but with a bit interactive with mire for a couple years now as we connected, as is the Jewish believers through some of our political writing and things like that and she's always been enthusiastic about the Sabbath is coming to Museum of the Bible. So what's this really address has God left something as a further proof of the resurrection of the center is the stretcher some church relic and forgery that no one can explain and for those who are skeptical which is fine.

You want to study and look at the evidence in our faith is not based on the shroud but but on the word of God experience of the risen Savior, but I would encourage you if you question it, to try to come up with answers to take Mars first challenge having to explain what happened, how to explain the existence of the image hate quick reminder for you.
