There Lynchburg yeah well that's what I want a large book that we were there for many years and it started on my ministry. I would blessed to be around some challenging thinkers that got me think about education. What really supposed to look like and that gotten gotten involved with with education and so as you know Robbie were hosting my organization collecting next weekend of the 18th annual grade education form at the fourth one that were really excited and that's busy Lynchburg words at this year so it's not too far from Lynchburg.

Mercy has the same thing same area. Now that's a pretty famous place. So is this what a great place for freedom. What I like that I like that about thinking the connotation is, the crossroads of where we are as a nation, and I I generally in challenging people just link education. What were doing with our young people to the future of our nation. In other words, cultures, driving politics and just challenging people Christian, mainly to think about what education is supposed to be doing it and so would you like to see come to your event next week. While we we got two parts to it. This year we've actually added a leadership element which will be on the 19th that Sunday and that we that by invitation only.

We got some pastors that are going to be there that have RSVP as best we can help it, as people have been involved with education and talking about the publicly giving them some idea the holiday can talk about it from the pulpit because that's one thing that creatures that we've seen tend to shy away from it. They don't want to insult anybody in not wanting to talk about who really has jurisdiction over teaching our next generation.

And so we want to see those people preachers but also parents that are considering getting their children out of the civil government school system they can learn people that are involved with homeschooling and private education. So anybody who wants to go will we've got another speaker there Christian leaders there that that can help them matter what they're looking for some tell us again the name of the conference.

Conference fourth annual grade education for the court grade education form is the name of that but we like that I like to add that for the better part of it because I want to give people I want to tell people every single year.

How many we've done in order to show them that were not going away were going to build momentum and work were going to keep doing it until we abolish the public school.

I don't know but yeah so really share with our listeners little bit of how you felt called to you talk well, I've always wanted to be a missionary group in a pastors home and my dad was the pastor Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Moravian Falls, North Carolina, and I'm so I had a lot of missionaries come to our church and I was excited and always loved hearing what they had to say where they were going. Once the exciting places and I will morning to go but didn't know if that's what the Lord wanted me to do, but at 13 I knew for sure this what the Lord wanted me to do was to be a missionary and so I surrendered at the end and started praying Lord show me where you want me to go and give me wisdom give me guidance and then as I was spraying and I are going to laugh and I just can't get notary to doing more things in the ministry there with my dad and I working with him, will the unit 18 I surrendered to call to preach and started prescient and then at the age of 20 was last year I was able to go to.

I keep a Peru I was praying about going down there is a missionary that was kind of my desire is that I went down there with the missionary just cannot see, and a praying about that, as a possible mission field and kinda felt that was way the Lord was leading but while I was there just in the course of the trip will break my heart. He said this is where I want you and I'm like okay Lord if the same where you want me to just go back home and keep praying and keep looking and I got back home on Saturday and flew out Monday to go to Utah to work for a week as a group of six guys at my home church going to help a missionary renovated church and I can explain it, but when we got there Monday. I just had feelings. Lord said this is where I want you so I started praying Lord, make it clear and by the end of the week and I had no doubt in my mind, my heart, that is exactly where the Lord wanted me and so I started got back from then start making preparations to get there and it was just exciting.

All that the Lord was doing in my heart just a burden that he was given me and put my heart in Utah for the people there in Utah is for the lost souls, those that need the gospel and those that need a Savior and I was excited humming. I started preparing everything I was ready to get there. I was rated go and be there and on but Lord said no. I got another plan, as I was ready go there work and just be there I was, I was rated mover at the end. That was where I was rated go, but Lord said no I've got another way for you to get there in silence, you go the right way and so I got on with the mission board prayer Baptist missions international. There based on a bowling spring, South Carolina, and I went and got on with the M and now on deputation trying to raise support so that I can get there and be full-time in the ministry, preaching the gospel and winning souls. One of the key things I mentioned that I'll be doing when I get there is, I'll be working on Utah State University reaching college-age kids.

There's a program that's there and I'm excited to get to be a part of that and to share the gospel share the truth with my generation that cool and and and I think it's it's also extremely handy that you know you go to Peru you learn how to speak Spanish Tri-County next when you got it. Utah did you learn how to speak more meaning now that this is a different culture out after from what I'm used to. Along those lines. I know several people called in. Yes, I now work with the young adults and one thing that always is passion for me about working at that age group is during the age group to make some of the hardest decisions that you have to make in life which is like what college you go to Uganda Marion where you gonna lay out what you want to do for career a lot of the decisions if they're not rooted in Scripture and are not rooted God as an in the front and a lot of the decision will just be based on past and trying to be the best that you trying to be the best that you can from a worldly standard but what I'm really passionate about and what not to schedule a passing bodice bring in the young people here are not just having him here on church but also the site for now involved in her life and then seeing the spiritual involvement in their as I continue to get older as they continue to have kids as they continue to consider his career as a saying that not just everybody's call to necessary. But I'm curious like you seen Jesus and Jesus and action in your own life and now this person shows up in the and they start coming to mount Pisgah and you see them at the first time in your like about how long I will not have a workout. The next thing you know how they're coming in the coming and then you see them just absolutely fall in love with Christ and at some point in time you go all God. We sell only several thousand pumpkins every single all season and this year in particular, we put a big emphasis on people by pumpkin soup and send our invite to the churches that hey would love to see on a Sunday morning while one person in particular was out there running are actually on our former youth pastor and her family showed up a dad and his three daughters and the concerts are telling him about the church and Nasser started comment, Nasser said that Sunday morning to church and broadest dollars.

He's really been involved in a men's ministry is Roy been involved in our young adult ministry to the daughters of Roy active in the children of new programs and is able to see God's blessings as being involved in this simple invitation, but also the more people started when a before they came to church and then want to, get immersed like you were saying about falling in love and the discipleship adjuster to community as a bait part of it. Also, because we haven't very active young adult community amount as God brought that opportunities are just ways people can grow to send their careers with one another but also just with one another. One thing that's Roy court, the young adult ministry is a lot of people work with the professions whether the school teachers all people in landscape and a lot of people we have some people are lawyers and just so many different careers by Jack in each one of them. I always told him that you can be on fire for God regardless of your career if you want to be a schoolteacher be the best schoolteacher that you can be for God and you have opportunities every single day to serve God to the students be involved in our lives that actually if you were to read our daily bread today which week we do that in devotion of truth broadcasting so I like today's better yesterday so I read a and it was the story about a checkout guy worked in the checkout counter in a store's name was Fred. And because this guy had a huge smile on his face and he did his job so well and he everybody wanted to be in Fred's line because it's like man concedes he's doing it well and and people can see and I bet you there somebody in your life. Maybe it's that's the guy was standing on the corner. Some tapirs or somebody you to see the joy of the Lord and away you go in when I look at Ethan right you see that joy the Lord right there is are you going to Utah and you're thinking whatever, but I before we get to the Utah and I see the joy, the Lord completely. I would like to know how a pastor's kid get saved. I mean, it seems like all the odds are against.

How did you get to know Jesus really is a personal faith because it's one thing to get you bad faith. That's not having to get your faith in this one thing is that I understood that I couldn't get to heaven on my dad's salvation. My dad was say but that's not to get me in heaven and salvation is personal and that was taught.

My dad taught that he preached that and I'm just thankful for Sunday school teachers in my church last night on a narrow end of that day when like on my good I got a problem yet and I can only salt solution. Can you take us to Yeltsin schoolteachers had a big part in that they taught the gospel very clearly that we lost. We need a Savior and so at a young age. I understood that I was a sinner and that I needed a Savior and then through listening to my dad and Sunday school teachers heard how to be safe and I knew how. And then one day I was at home we were doing school. Well, I wouldn't do in school, I was just kind of fiddle around and down there sitting talking with my mom at school desk house homeschooled and you love that dentures is like man is Mike you and I'm semi-nonsensical to software all right here we go. It's also you guys unload not prepare for the next segment I and down so I was sitting there minimum. I'm not talking and talking about and I just I just learned I knew I was lost and we got to talk about it and I told her I said none on long-standing I need to be safe. And so it was just me and my three older brothers next sister just been born. The seven of us and so we were just there, my mom took me downstairs in the living room so we could talk personally and she shared with the share with me the gospel which I knew that she was just sharing it with me making sure I understood it and make sure it was clear she didn't want to force anything on me.

She want to make sure that I knew what the gospel was an idea I knew I was lost underlining a Savior and so she said will if you notes need to do said let's pray right now and so I knelt down at the couch. I can take you to the spot and take you to where I got saved and I knelt down right there and I asked Lord to save me because I knew I was a sinner and I knew the only way to be saved was believing on Jesus and what he did for us on the cross and when I did, man. My sins were forgiven. Man I had such joy waited in the second accident Kearney patient in his head like a time. It's a Cinderella story.
