Ephesians 6 passage where you get the full armor of God is such a beautiful place for children to begin to think about things and actually want to do anyway.

Right. They want to pick up a sword hit the brother take their trash can lid. As you know is a shield you know all those things and in the helmet and all those things children just love absolutely. And now, to give them some context on how God designed that stuff is just wonderful. She was just trying to give us how you know I think it's amazing thing that God calls us, especially in this case, such intimate place and asked us to write about. Yes I will say that writing this book was a challenge at me two years to write it but I will say band you take me back to the minute workout. This kind is it okay I'm calling on you. I'm able to help someone else overcome so just being in this moment is a blessing. The Lord graced me with this situation. In order for me to again help somebody else. Second Corinthians chapter 1 God comforted us for this comfort. We might comfort others comfort and confidence with the minute so beautiful that that there you're at, but I guess before we get to that week I get the back story, which will get to in a minute. I don't know how to do that youthat you know just my pride all over the place so the first thing that they asked me to teach was honor your mother and father for the commandment and I was should be pretty easy for Bible teacher right well you know half half of my students don't you know speaking language you know that the sign language or something you know and so and and you don't know what level there actually even thinking I because you can even talk to him so exactly how do you convey this principle of great Bible teacher set I had to pray and pray and pray. God had me right where he wanted me to figure out how to get this message across to a group of folks that I really didn't understand where were the language barriers were so I'd like. I think that it's gotta be really cool for you as you think through this at a child's level. Both from the from the way that that is illustrated but also from the.

The simple language can shoot in our children's books. You don't get to write a paragraph in our you you get Bible Bible hard hearted and I never realized that all the work we do our best to glorify God not give him all the glory and I believe he worked hard, harder children, but I think what you did not think it got work at it was my life in God, believe me it was not anything Robbie there, but along those lines right so I have the sense right anytime I get on to teach anything. I'm guessing God had some pretty cool lessons along the way.

Can you share maybe the first one that just went 00001 of the lessons is wine making sure that I operate in the fruit of the spirit, no matter what it looks like no matter how tough things are but operate in the love, the joy, the peace, the long-suffering the patient the kindness the goodness in order to be able to sustain. Sometimes I think that we get into our feelings and we get mad and you know were frustrated we don't understand God why me, but like the word tells us all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. So just the lesson of the Lord cultivating me and shaping me in these just to show me you know you're going through this but I'm going to teach you and grow.

You not only in this marriage thing, but also more and me know I'm an honest thing about the subject matter is of your book is intimacy yes and he is all about coming. He's a firebreathing dog you know that we can possibly have.

I loved what I love everybody caught it but I bring it out when she mentioned the fruits of the spirit. She mentioned one twice like patients, long-suffering the difference in the spirit really does grab my attention always first the second one with love, peace.

What is it like oh my goodness balanced balance tough, especially on this subject like yes what a beautiful thing to find yourself here and begin to write on. You know very authentically because I've read some stuff here. I was it was it was a burning situation and so you know, can you give us a little bit of where you actually were before you wrote the book before I wrote the book and just will say that prior to my husband and I getting Mary Alice 18 months in abstinence.

So and that was a challenge for me because of where I started out before I made the decision to abstain. So that's why was and then we got married and I expected a lot of intimacy and let me say another thing that the Lord taught me was one of the ways that I viewed intimacy was not the only way to be intimate but because I was so used to certain ways and certain things and you know how how the world pushes intimacy is not you know yeah but PP, the Lord taught me that, but at out again before writing the book. We were married and again 18 months prior. I was asking so that I was trying to find my place in the Lord so he can give me exactly what I need to be, but you never stop. So you never stop morning. I always knew any and everything that my Bible said send fire on the earth. But how I wish it was Artie kindled 86634878. About Two Months Later, Can I Speak to Robert Bruce Dumont Junior This Guy Says This Is So-And-So Agent in the Hollywood You Know, Actually He Was the Only One Asked to Read It so I Sent Him the Whole Thing in a Hole Screenplay Me As I Just Got Finished Reading Your Screenplay and I Have To Tell You That This Is the Most Disturbing Piece of Literature I Have Ever Read in My Life and What It'll Be Okay If I Burned It Because Nobody Else Never Ever Needs to Read This Again. Time to Call You to Set Still. I Did but It Was so Crisp to the Nature You Know That It Was Disturbing to This Poor Guy. I Guess It Convicted Him. I Don't Know but I'm I Never Forgotten Is If You Got a Call like That after You Spent Years Literally Writing This Thing like You Guys but Nonetheless You Know I Don't Know What God's Purpose Was for That Book. Later on I Get to Write A Lot Of Christian Cargo Theater Episodes Is Probably More You Want to Hear Julie but I You Know When I Saw That You Your Your Book Was You Know Books and Boots Put on the Full Armor I've Brought Back A Lot Of Work There like That Nonbeliever Line Know We Cannot on. I'm Burning inside My Marriage and You Know I Think Is Really Courageous This Whole Thing like I Can Imagine the Marriage That If They Were Completely Honest and Struggle in This Area in Some Way and I Clearly Would Say Oh Yeah Been Here. I Know Exactly How and I Actually Even Know That Scott Try to Knock on Robbie's Head Saying Hey You Know Intimacy. It's My Thing.

You Know Where Were Supposed to Be Getting. But Byron Is You Know How Amazing to Me. You Know How How Does a Husband Support His Wife through This Kind of an Adventure, You First Have To Be Honest with Yourself. This Book Originated from Some Unfortunate Habits of Myself so It Would Be Less of It.

I Would Be Less of a Husband Not to Support Her Because His Book Helped Her and Helped out Marriage Every Time Bob by Writing This so When You Say That You Know I'm with You This Summer. My Unfortunate Habits I've Talked about the Program Probably Doesn't Fit with This Program. All That Well You Know Led to You Know Where That Comes Right You Know It's It's Really a Trap.
