I've just been disgusted by something that went viral on the Internet.

JR, let me tell you something. This you know the New York Yankees and the New York Mets.

They played a game they played a baseball game tonight in the Bronx, New York your your familiar right. The Yankees did something in August that were not accustomed to the saga so the Yankees won a baseball get exactly the New York Yankees beat the Mets tonight order to but that's not the story tonight. I haven't seen something go this viral in a long time there was a fan in the stands and I feel so bad. I feel so damn bad for this man who was just going to get. He's probably received every message he might be on the news people asking you what the hell were you doing I'm going to describe. And if you follow me on twitter. I actually retweeted it at JR sport brief. You can watch the video yourself if you can do it safely. Please don't don't do this crap on a roll. Okay, don't pull out your phone and then do all the searching.

You know you can go outside anywhere without being recorded nowadays you can't go anywhere in public.

You can't trip you can't fall just everybody's record and every body there was a man in Yankee Stadium. Yes, he's a Yankees fan. How do I know this because he's wearing the Yankees at he has a beer okay that's normal Yankees game baseball game. People have a beer. People drink beer all the time I had beer last night. This man is at the game. He has a beer.

He also has a hot dog. Okay, fine, normal people go to baseball games you drink a beer.

You have a hot dog sounds normal right know not what this guy did this man had his beer on the floor, which is normal at a baseball game is no damn tables. Maybe there was no cup holder on this man also had a straw. So what he do did he put his straw into his beer know that might be a little weird in and of itself out again. This man took the hotdog is no bread.

I don't see Brett.

He took the hotdog. He took a straw. He poked a hole the long way through the hotdog as and to put a hole through the top and bottom of said hotdog like poking straight through this man talk the hotdog and then put in the beer.

This man then utilized the hotdog as a straw for his beer and proceeded to drink it. Conover, on the side, you know, maybe hoping no one would see well this man is on every possible just news place that covers sports. He is in the New York Post. He is on Bleacher Report.

He is on complex sports. He is on European websites right now for making a hotdog into a straw for his beer and out of all the things that I can think about getting phone calls for and suites, and messages. This guy hey Shep, I hope he doesn't have an embarrassment gene but the way he was sipping his beer through a hotdog that he made into a straw and how he kind of tried to coyly do it off on the side. I don't think he wanted people to see him and there they have been there, been millions of people have seen this and it's only been.

I don't know two hours embarrassing. I don't see the real big issue with this, you, you have utilized a hotdog as a straw know why I've never done such a thing, but okay. I it it's it's he bought this I mean a straw three is a stadium, but he bought the beer he bought the hotdog if if that's what he wants to do with said hotdog and use it as a straw device he's being creative.

It's innovative. We've never seen it before. He's a genius and he's not harming anybody like like not like is his job. JR don't think people like making a little much of this know now is it's best it's hilarious. I mean you are you are 1 million% correct and I'm I'm I'm this lesson.

I feel bad for the guy right. Like you, this guy, he went to the baseball game tonight them on his business. I'm watching the video again, this man went to the baseball game to him on his own damn business, but it's like you have to know when you go out in public. I mean I just want to know why he's wearing a jacket when it was 75 to 80°.

That's what I would want to know, and I also have an issue with the person filming this like you watching the game not filming other spectators in the audience what we've seen people film things right to me that to her that honestly like that to me is where that unit will allow you heat that he's got only an innocent civilian whose enjoying a beer and a hotdog. However, he so chooses. And someone is. I mean it should be honestly JR that should be illegal.

You can't just film people who are who do who should have privacy.

He's not doing anything that's disturbing the peace. He's not doing anything. It's causing harm or instilling fear into anybody else around him. So let me ask you have a problem that I don't know if you take issue with that. I do think it's ugly he's creepy to know that's wellness it just film people for you know just just for the hell sake of it. I think that is that is creepy at the same time I think I think most people know when you go outside you is just the world we live in like your your open up for criticism this one fun fun about it, but to controvert random question will hold on yet will you do that, let me ask you this.

Yes, you think this this man who was filmed drinking beer through a hotdog straw that he created. Do you think he's gonna you'll find out who filmed them and try to sue him for bullying aside is that even can even do that. I mean it wouldn't be it wouldn't be public harassment, it would likely have is this guy yeah I have is if this guy just goes into it has a mental breakdown because of the ultimate embarrassment I mean no. Will's Department all of a sudden isn't awareness guy at the at the stadium anymore. You know it well it's it's one thing it's one thing the slap a baseball or catch it when you're not supposed to answer one of the guys with glasses and ball caps why they always the one to get picked on at these baseball stadiums well you just said it. This guy heat GE set himself up for. I know I don't. But, but, like like they are like you what you are from. You are from Manhattan. You have seen how many times have you walked it all demonstrates and you have seen things way beyond their's level of bizarre. It might've been me one day right so it could've been me. One day we can just go around looking to publicly ridicule and deride people for greater public consumption like that. That's the real issue here. To me he's doing nothing wrong and that he really isn't. And like I mean II would I meet. This is just this is wrong. This is wrong on some levels I filled out for this guy. I feel when they got overcharged for beer and a hot dog and you know that to be true in any baseball status if I have a video. I haven't bought bought food that is stating that what is a beer eight dollars million in my low eight dollars.

If there's a happy hour that night know there's there's no such thing as an eight dollar beer baseball stadium and I believe I believe the Falcons shut off the Falcons. I think they sell five dollar beers. Wow, is this an option that have knowledge in a while the I'm sorry. I know what I mean like like there is that they're trying to incentivize people to want to come but I dare like like like how many times you see people in it in the streets like their nose or scratch something when they shouldn't got you turning your name you like it. It happens the professional baseball player they they get caught all the time and I am just moves away right just all the baseball places what they do. So why can't the guy at the baseball game to listen like you can imagine, I don't know who the kid is, but there's there's the okay does a blonde kid in front of them.

That's not his son, right right but the kid next to him.

Can you pension if he never takes his kid to another ball game in the history of their you know a father-son relationship because some guy decide to document them for 18 seconds because he decide to use it, you know, maybe he was saving the straw for his kid and you want to go back up and is all kinds aligns it at at these venues needs. You know all you know to me like I'd be curious to know is a hot let me use as a strong public like maybe he's actually been a great dad and he understands that his son wants to be there the entire time he can't get up again like who knows this is a son has like a physical condition. You don't expect to go to a ballgame and then I wake up the next morning knowing that 5060 70 million people have watched you over and over again. I day on pleasantly surprised by a cardinal fan I was here for my Yankee when they were announcing the starting lineup and a cardinal fan pours a drink on my feet as I'm going to sit down after they get done announcing the team are on my feet like you know I don't I don't have any animosity towards somebody cheering for whoever they want your board like why did you think that happened what why do people have to, you know, go to your the kind of agreed to things that game you should be able to go to a ballgame. Pay your money. You know have a good time and be able to go through game without anything ridiculous happening and just so happen. I kinda got up in the guys face. Then I ended up being removed from the game and all one of many fan from not only the Yankee Cardinal fan room from the game and it's just like I did. You will let me ask you this, Julian. He poured beer on your seat. You can sit in it you but you saw him do it.

So you know, all I nearly because I would and I didn't say a word. I and me kinda. I don't know if it from the Yankee fan, and the family would they haven't been there in a while. They had some kind animal. No Julie, let's start out all the slowdown it's because people are people are jerks and you know when people even more more jerks and people start drinking and this is a fortune I'm I'm glad you guys didn't move it into a physical altercation. Did you know there is nothing like that at all, but the work front porch and abounded security camera like we were kinda like a man that you know that's not cool. How about this, somebody was caught in Oakland and I know there's only about five fans there, you know there was a couple in Oakland away up in the left field bleachers and like the top row. They were caught somebody film them from way across the Coliseum. This is yesterday a sex act and now the authorities are looking into who they are and see if they can find amount will be well.

You want to talk about behavior at a ballpark. I feel like every week I'm looking at your dodger fan. It's not like they play every week but it feels like it is like the Dodgers and Giants to beat the living hell out of each other again. You know another fan punches another fan in the face you as many conversations that we've had on their about fan behavior when it comes to bands just inciting and going too far with players man fans are brutal to each other like why do you care who I root for. What is it matter to you and you sure certain places you you have to know this and be prepared because that's just the world that we live in doesn't need to be that way. I think it's one thing this you know, look at somebody wearing the opposing team's colors and global your team socks but then you got people who want to hurl profanities and you got people who don't want us and you got people who want to fight and you got people who want to drink and drink and and fight some more and then you have cases like tonight where this man was just mind in this business and no heating get into a fight.

This man went to a game a great game. By the way between the Yankees and Mets. He sat down he bought a beer. He bought a hotdog.

He used the straw to turn his hotdog into a straw and he drank his beer through a hotdog. He created a straw okay and he is now viral. He is all over the Internet. He is all over the legitimate news as well as the blogs, websites, and dammit, we're talking about the man here on CBS sports radio. I will think it was something that he expected and the guy who recorded him does he feel bad.

Probably not. How does a guy recorded how does he feel you feel bad for the guy. I think the guy recording him. This is weird for doing it, but I get it. It's something that you probably never seen before. But damn, we sure know how to treat each other, don't we. I'm to say you go out in public. You should just probably know this is the world that we live in right now it's not right, but this is just par for the course. This is what it is they are just very quickly. If your mommy saying it's the world that we live in because broadcasting companies and publications live for this, content, and so we allow it and we allow it to fester and perpetuate well have the ability to do something about insane. This isn't worthy of our I'm not saying you I'm I think you're doing this because you I give you so much credit freshly taken the high road on this, but this can be so many people in your position that are going to try to lambaste the sky and try to make him seem like the weirdest person to ever walk on planet, and that's not cool yeah but you know he is he is the other end of it. Like I said overall man this is social media and broadcasters who have power that not doing anything but joining in.

This is more so Joe Schmoe being able to upload this video I'm pretty sure somebody did this 25 years ago wasn't on twitter then go viral. There was no video or know why father uploaded and yet we went people treat each other like crap, that's just what it is.

He now turns the hotdog into a straw. He puts the hotdog into his beer. He is drinking his beer through his hotdog.

This man is on every website, every sports page imaginable on social media.
