Scotty already mad that he wasn't making the big bucks and paper in the 90s when Ovitz Marcus, what's the other one is Jeffrey got a kid named Jeffrey Jeffries Jeffers, the Jeff is the oldest, but it was Marcus who was actually the better player. You grew up with you a sense of entitlement that is beyond anyone's wildest well nation yes in relatively speaking. Ohio State beat Notre Dame by the way, 21 to 10 and so we have to see what takes place with the with brawny as he gets ready to going to college and what college he chooses and who wants the circus. It is tricky business.

Is it is it worth it I guess it is even for short amount of time to bring brawny into your program. If you are or if you are Ohio with your mission again.

I mean if you are a UCLA or whatever the case might be, do you want brawny James on campus. Do you want Lebron James on campus and the answer is this. Yes.

And even though you only know it's going to be a one year thing even know brawny is likely going to be wanted done. You want the attention for your recruit recruiting class you want to be able to up your exposure. Let's keep in mind as one of our caller said last hour at college football in college sports from a coaching perspective from a player perspective, with an eye out to about money. He's just these slowly but surely commanding and controlling the game just what is brain but how has that evolved over the past several years as he gets ready to, you know, choose a college, I don't know but from all indications, ain't nobody yelling about him being Lebron son and he's going to take the next step. You could make the argument that is it gonna be fair that brawny occupies a roster spot. You know what happens when brawny does choose a school if brawny stinks. What is he going to get forced onto the rosters even get pushed into plantar while they going to choose a school where he's just going to be the guy out there playing in all things considered. If brawny doesn't have the, the best showing in college, what it seems now supposed to bend over backwards to bring Lebron Martin just going to skip over him and say we don't want to trouble think about the Cleveland Cavaliers right now they been able to put together a young roster plenty of assets plenty of depth they just brought in Donovan Mitchell. They have Darius Garland man they have. They have so much what happens.

I don't know when two years from now when the team is even more advanced and you have a Lebron James was willing to come in on a a minimum contract all year, but then you gotta bring the kid to. You gotta have brawny well if on the Cleveland Cavaliers. This isn't it. A few years ago. Like why would I want to do that. And so it's a Catch-22. You think about Lebron and brawny in all it's a package deal. It gets dangerous because on one hand, if you're contending basketball team. Do you want the circus and that's what it might be this is going to be Lebron brawny and whoever the hell else and if you're rebuilding team.

Do you have a chance. And why would Lebron go to a team that's just rebuilding to play with his son. It's a it's a catch 22, and so we don't know in the long run. If this is gonna work for brawny. If this is going to be damaging. If this is going to help him if he's good he'll get burned if he sucks and he he won't. And if he's really good it's it's not going to matter and so I don't think this is a damaging situation. It's just going to be real peculiar over the next two years when brawny is draft eligible in Lebron is like will just dammit. Can we just draft and to the Lakers. I think that might be the best case scenario on the brawny collecting dust on the bench while Lebron is still scratching for championship, but moving on to another organization. Brawny is a you USC UCLA is it due is it Oregon. I mean he's not have options. He's Lebron skid brawny James woke up tomorrow and said I want to go to temple. Some would say, come on down brawny James woke up the mindset I want to go anywhere to be like you. Come on through and we already know what Lebron said my I want play with my son like I wanted to do that in and I'll be okay. Now he's even taken a step further. Recently, I guess he sees how good Bryce is his younger son is like dammit I want to play were both level my wall. Lebron Wohl, it will if I see Lebron on the court was to son someone that they come in a twilight zone. What is this but the fact is listed the brawny Lebron James just signed a two-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers's going to be eligible to go where he wants. By the time that brawny gets out of college after that that one season brawny is going into his senior year and then he's going to probably play one year in college and that will also finish up Lebron's time with the Los Angeles Lakers now whether you happen to be in college or more importantly what you happen to be in the NBA.

Is it worth the trouble.

Lebron James two more seasons from now will probably if he's healthy still be a reasonable asset on a team where he is not the primary option. Lebron James can be a 6 foot nine point guard who can play. I don't know 25 minutes.

Again, and still drop 25 and six rebounds.

Five assist he can revert back to his numbers as a rookie and still be damaging. 25 and five ridiculous is he worth it to also have his son there. Is it worth the circus if you're championship contending team.

Do you want this type of attention and if you're a loser as Steen why do you want the circus and why would Lebron and brawny be there anyway. The best case scenario is for brawny to just get picked up by the Lakers for Lebron to take a minimum contract and stick around in LA I think that's the simple option. Anything else gets very, very complicated 855-2124 CBS. I think try to go to a marquee college like Michigan or Duke or something is going to be a huge mistake. It's better to have that have a headache and have a better team, but if you're smaller college even like a mage before you have him bear would benefit both parties because of you, you gonna make television no matter which puts his will is it is it to his advantage. It would certainly be a boon for for HBCUs, but if you have to think about his development and being able to to compete at a higher or top level I mean realistically. As of right now. Some of the schools that are pretty much wide open for him to attend. Should he want he has offers from Kentucky Memphis. The Tigers Michigan obviously Ohio State, Oregon, Nike is based USC and they are more likely to come so yeah it might be attention, but does brawny James need attention. I think he has enough do they need money. We know the last thing his family needs his money. If there's anything it's basketball development agreed. I was just saying that you know if you go you not going to go get Me you can't put him I would not put him in a of a Michigan or any other top level colleges like that could act as if they could become like your Federal Circuit, but I think it would have been at different college that he can get with a good coach and an learn about basketball.

I think that's good. But to put it in the top-tier Agnes don't think that's a good idea… What's the could take away from the program to be all about him give got a deal with that I don't like that idea always is pro career. Yeah, the Lakers, but then it just becomes a clown show to me.

The situation I would make the most sense is if brawny James or to just be picked up by the Los Angeles Lakers and Lebron finishes his career there in the world goes on. He's wielding his power and that's what most people do.

And sure nepotism exists in all levels of society in the world. People hire their kids. People hire their family members and yeah they can be matters of of ethics year and I can't sit here at at CBS sports radio and say oh my God I hate Shep will be bringing my brother and I can't I can't I can't do that. It doesn't work that way.

That would be me being a whole you know what it doesn't work that way. Program director can't say hey let's get JR to help on out here and just get my brother job.

It doesn't work that way. This is basketball and to say that brawny: quote is without merit is is not accurate.
