As a caregiver for more than 30 years through an ongoing medical nightmare, I can confidently state that I'm familiar with stress.

But what does that relentless stress do the human body? We've discussed Gracie's dramatic recovery using natural products, but what about mine. Today, Mark Harris joined me to talk about MY health. Mark is part of a group that has worked with Gracie and me for two years.  Using myself as a guinea pig, I wanted to see if the products they recommended really work.

Gracie and I have both witness ( and continue to see) significant results for both of us. No miracle drugs, no overnight fix, but a steady increase of healthiness that continues through our brutal journey.

Listen to my conversation with Mark ...and then check out more at: AHealthierLifeForYou.com

Gracie and I just share what we're seeing in our lives. We live with EXTREME challenges, and we need help healing what decades have caused for both of us.

How about you?  How are you feeling? How many medications are you taking?  What did your last physical reveal?

I have been doing something for the last two years that I haven't told a lot of people about John still get nervous. I don't know why no man I'd like to. I trust you implicitly. You know that my wife Gracie has a lot of health issues so I hear. For those you don't know this region under the shows because of learning on the job caring for woman now for 33 years who's had 80 surgeries that I can count about another hundred hundred 50 smaller procedures 89 100 doctors who treated her 12 different hospital.

Seven. If insurance companies and 10 million+ dollars that I can count.

Well that's fairly significant. What is that due to the human body to go through that many surgeries that much anesthesia and that many antibiotics and she is really high-powered and robotics sheets and so forth. So some friends of ours came along to us and they said look, there's a different way of treating this. Now the doctors of thrown all these chemicals at her for pain management. Everything else and that's we understand that, but the body can be there there there a lot of paths that this body can be damaged than just through surgery and then you get infection get anybody can get heal up.

We gotta go down to the cellular level. We gotta get healthy from from the bottom up and and Gracie started working with them on this regimen of this these nutraceuticals and I was a little bit. Kind of like you know where everybody's always to get the next best thing.

Well I did it with her as well because the stress on the caregivers is is significant coming for fish.

Case in point, look at me and taught with this evidence of what you look so what is it due to a human being to go through the kind of stress of caring for somebody through what I just sit and and what can you expect from that and so I invited Mark Harris to come on the show with market whether I hear Peter thank alright so that the starting point of our conversation this time we we talked about Gracie. We talked about the progress that she's made, which is been pretty astonishing considering that she was really at death's door less than five years ago and I wanted to spend a little bit of time talking today about the ancillary impact of of going through a healthcare crisis which is on the caregiver and what it did to me and what it give of the stress levels that are still there list first before getting further, let's talk about what stress does to the body and on on every level. Kenny Kenny goat. Can you mind that with this little bit.

Sure, I think. I think primarily we can start a foundational level that everyone has to endure and struggled with something on oxidative stress, which is just simply a function of metabolism.

When we eat our food at even healthy food when were walking when were breathing exercise, or just sitting at your using brainpower of our body is metabolizing that energy in creating combustible materials and some pretty nasty waste products that, when were young bodies very effective in eliminating those. But as we age. That system becomes compromised in the accumulation of those biochemicals and some of them are very similar to the same thing coming out your tailpipe in your automobile party… Thought their monoxide and dioxide and methane, and you don't want flying around in yourself our bodies as we age become less effective in dealing with the accumulation of oxidative stress are the radical damage and so there is actually an acceleration factor as we age roughly the age of skeletal maturity. We crest at the top of optimal health and you have to think back very far to think about how great you felt 18 and 21 compared to now.

Whether you're a caregiver caregiver be, you realize that we seem to be getting older. The older we get, and so that's a foundational level of metabolism is oxidative stress and that's why we we feel more poorly in our 70s and 80s and 90s, especially if we're facing something chronic like pain or a disease state.

So that's the starting point and then when you take on emotional strain and mental strength and the consistent marathon giving care for others and my wife and I come from a ministry background and I very similar when you're in a ministry community and your providing support ministerial support. Whether your church missionary capacity. If we work that can generate accumulation of emotional stress and that manifests its way in all kind of biochemistry difficulties in muscle pain in the back begins to manifest itself over time and in really unfortunate ways and we all are familiar with the age what that begin here to bring to us not able to function optimally and over time we began to see several years ago that we were watching men and women actually compromised in the purposes of God for them and their families and we were looking for solutions for the kind of dynamic will. This is what brings me to the table because as a caregiver. I will tell you not my situation is such that in and Gracie backed me up. We never know quite week to week will be dealing with. We have a pretty good idea because we dealt with so many different things, but for example, right now she's having fairly significant problems with her right leg and with getting sores and blisters were working on that with the process get it fixed but was at me what it means she can't walk very well. That means she can't get out and do think she's going to be more wheelchair-bound with prosthetic leg and being out of commission as much as it needs to be so that's just a little thing and then you deal with that the that of the constant pain and so forth.

And they're just always on the go and and I feel like that my brain has to fire you know all day long for the moment I get up to the moment I put my head down. My brain is firing pretty hard that that wears on the after 33 years.

I can tell you for chest and I I have heard so many people talk about different things over the years.

This is an express greatest thing but I quietly did this for two years myself still doing in us all something in me. I don't throw out some figures here then you tell me I am 55 years old. I do not take any medication. And yet I live with soul crushing stress and but for two years.

You guys have had me on a pretty strict regimen of what I'm supposed to be doing and have done it and now I've got a couple markers that I need to work on, which is those are diet driven and were not getting the judgment, Mark and I can bring down my class, but it is it is moving the right direction. Cholesterol move in the right direction and sugars are moving in the right direction. But all those other things are shown normal at 55 living with 33 years of relentless stress coming of of high intensity stress and so I thought okay there's some to the stuff and what what about taking and why am I taking what is it doing for me to help me understand because I want to make sure I communicate this clearly because I I know that caregivers right nail are struggling and they are tired and there they stay tired and so I want to make sure that they understand what I'm doing and why I'm doing it and I muse I used me as a guinea pig. It's not a miracle drug is not some kind of you know supersecret thing that we gotta go meet behind the dumpster and talk about it is it is natural and it is it is effective.

Ford for different reason that we think it it it it's it's all about building up something subsumed. What about taking and why my taking it. What's it doing well, let me clarify and address your previous concern. I'm with you before I feel better at it before that I did at 24. I'm sure but I should get the disclaimer. The products are not intended to treat your mitigate prevent disease. The FDA only allow pharmaceutical companies in United States to make a claim, so we were very careful to not make the claims and so I just want make that perfectly clear. Our flagship product was developed with the idea that your body is already making sense chemistry chemicals at the cellular level and those are called enzymes.

One of most powerful enzymes.

The master regulator master antioxidant of your body is something called superoxide District takes a gentleman by the name of Dr. Joe McCord when he was a graduate student at Duke University in 1969 discovered that enzyme factors measured in McCord unit is his role was so significant and pioneering. I feel that we now know the antioxidant is the father of theoretical biology antioxidant.

Came from Dr. Joe McCord. He is the one who began for 40 years, pioneering the science trying to find a way to get the body then boost the body's ability to create leaf antioxidant enzymes like glutathione and catalase, and if your practitioner or your scientist you're already familiar with some of the work. If we can do that rather than trying to introduce them externally if we can get the body to do its own heavy lifting will. That's a much more elegant and efficient method that's exactly what happened that the University of Colorado in Denver several years ago, ABC knew about this development and it was purported to them as an antiaging formula that of course is preposterous and they flew out and investigative journalism team featured by Emmy award-winning jockey in unit and walked in the door and he said hey guys, I'm John ABC News.

I'd like to ask you some questions and I want that that report several years ago and I was shocked when the doctor said come on, have a seat and so keen unit with ABC for so I we hear you got an antiaging formula will note that that's ridiculous with not antiaging but our research deals with the process of aging and oxidative stress biochemically and there is a definitive link now between what your body is doing on its own and the ability to reduce that oxidative stress which little busy and, incidentally, aging, and we developed a formula that's based on five natural ingredients that been around for centuries that are in doing something very unique in 6000 years of recorded history. We've never been able to measure a significant increase on an order of magnitude beyond the sum of the parts so antioxidant been around for 20, 30 years we've all taken at five in the vitamin C, resveratrol, mangosteen and all of the great etc. what scientists were finding was that this particular formula with activating the body's own system at the cellular level communication channel call the nurse to channel the transcription factor to the protein messenger and when that is active. It acts like a thermostat and it looks for issues and where there is regularity. Biochemically, it begins to manage those irregularities enzyme or genetic expression is too high.

For example, it will bring that down. If it's too low, it automatically sentences that begin to induce the body's ability to create more of that gene expression and so particular disease state.

Say for colon cancer or atherosclerosis are Alzheimer's body create a fingerprint that the state create sort of a fingerprint of incorrect gene expression. So what the body begins to do if it seems that problem like a thermostat in your home. If it's too hot and just click on the AC if it's too cold to just fix on the furnace and that is the best metaphor I can give him full why this particular technology.

Again, it's all natural, which is mind blowing to me actually is effective. So that's it. I think you you really and I don't want to even cut you off because you're on a roll here, but but I also got to come up to the break here so I love that concept of it and this is what I've been doing so. This makes perfect sense that this is equipping me to rebuild and because the stress has left it. Stress has left me and and so this is why you do this and this is kind of an intro that I just wanted to have my audience for you to come and just talk about this.

I would put this out there on the podcast as well and on her website and then you go to a healthier life for you.com if you want to see more about it right this moment, a healthier life for you.com and I would suggest you take advantage of this market. Can you come back. It would be my pleasure to come back I will listen. Mark Mark Harris and he has been working with us through this and working with me spending time with me and and in the team that is been work with me to help me get healthy. Healthy caregivers make better caregivers folks in today's a great day to start and I don't think you be able to do this all on your own. This just 33 years of experience
