Unfulfilled Expectations, Part 2

David was hoping for more. What comes your family.

How would you like to be David. I would like first. At this back because of your adulterous affair with Bathsheba in your planning of the murder of Uriah the Hittite baby that was conceived died because of you and you know it's because of you because God told you it's because of you I would you feel about that.

As far as disappointment and now you have two sons one the air. Amnon and to the one who is most qualified to be king, the one who is most like you Absalom. One is fled from your presence. One is dead.

Just imagine how he felt.

See how you deal with that kind of disappointment in your life sees King David is a recipient of the Davidic covenant but notice his life is messed up on so many levels. While the story continues and we pick it up in chapter 15.

At the end of chapter 14 scheduling verse 23 Joab councils the king so Joab arose and went to glacier and he brought Absalom to Jerusalem, Joab kept telling David in the interim. David, you gotta bring your son back. It was terrible what happened, but Amnon did something that was unspeakable so you gotta bring Absalom back for three years, David.

In verse 24.

He says he weighed the hair of his head at 200 shekels by the Kingsway 5 pounds in one year.

He grew 5 pounds of hair now that guy has a had a hair just the challenge going here. Don't cut your hair, then cut it when see what you some of you guys.

It Would've Been Better for Me to Stay There Now Therefore Let Me See the King's Face, and If There's Iniquity in Me, Let Them Put Me to Death. So Joab Came to the King, and He Told Him and He Called for Absalom's Is Thus He Came to the King, and He Prostrated Himself on His Face to the Ground before the King. The King Kissed Absalom to Think Whether That's Good, That's All. David Did You Kiss Them and Then Just Have Them Leave and That Was That You Want to See Me. You See Me Not Absalom Now Had about Enough of That.

And so He Comes up. He's a Very Cunning Individual and He's Patient Now It Came about after This That Absalom Provided for Himself a Chariot Horses and 50 Minutes Runners before His Entourage and Absalom Use to Rise Early and Stand beside the Way to the Gate Enter Jerusalem and Happen When Any Man Who Had a Suit to Come to the King for Judgment. Absalom Would Call Him and Say from What City Are You and He Would Say Your Sermon Is from One of the Tribes of Israel and Absalom Would Say to Him See Your Claims Are Good and Right. But No Man Listens to You One Part of the King You Have a Great Case You Have a Legal Case. The Trouble Is, David Won't Hear and He Has To Make a Decision.

Sorry, That's Just Tough Luck for You, Then Absalom Would Say to Him See Your Claims Are Good and Right. No Man Listens to You on the Part of the King. Moreover, Absalom Would Say All That One Would Appoint Me Judge in the Land Then Every Man Who Has a Suit or Cause Could Come to Me and I Would Give Them Justice. What's He Doing He's Campaigning You Know What Campaigns I Might See You Know What It's like Every Promise Is Made.

If Only I Were the Judge and I David Both Interesting. It Happened That When a Man Came near to Prostrate Himself before Him, He Would Put out His Hand and He Would Take Hold of Him and He Would Kiss Him.

That's a Little More Intimacy. That's What David Did with His Son Absalom Says You're All like My Children to Me in This Manner, Absalom Dealt with All Israel Who Came Looking for Judgment, so Absalom Stole Away the Hearts of the Men of Israel.

You Want to Still Weigh People's Hearts Promise and What They Want. That's How You Do It Now.

They Have Forgotten about David and Goliath and David and Saul and David's Victories over the Philistines and the Peace in the Land. Absalom Was Going to Give Them What They Wanted. Well, One of the Story. Look at Verse 12 of Chapter 15 Absalom Sent for I Have Theo Felt the Guilt Tonight. David's Counselor He Says from the City of Dido While He Was Offering Sacrifices and the Conspiracy Was Strong for the People Increase Continually with That a Messenger Came to David and Said the Hearts of the Men of Israel with Absalom. Absalom to Take over. David Said All His Sermons Who Were with Him in Jerusalem Arrives. Let Us Flee for Otherwise None of Us Will Escape from Absalom Ago in Haste He Will Overtake Us Quickly, and Bring on Calamity on Us and Strike the City with the Edge of the Sword in the King's Servants under the King, Behold, Your Sermons Are Ready to Do Whatever My Lord What the Game Which Is Notice How David Is Changed. David Is Completely Different. Does That Sound like a David As a Teenager.

The Face Goliath.

I Think David's Disappointment in Himself Using One of the Things That's Most Misunderstood about David. Is This Because David Is Described in the Book of Act As a Man after God's Own Heart. We Always Assume the David Is like a Model for All of Us.

He Only Using One Way David Is No Joe, He Is No Joseph, He Is No Daniel, David, Is a Model of Us. For This Reason, He Represents a Person Who Seems like Crazy but Has a Humble and Contrite Heart and Need for God. That's What Makes David Special, Not His Life. David's Life Is Full of Disappointments Is a Lousy Father Is a Terrible Husband. He Disobeyed the Lord Continually Almost, but He Was Humble and Contrite about His Sin. That's Wise.

A Man after God's Own Heart Not Because of His Performance While Look at Verse 23, While All the Country Was Weeping with a Loud Voice All the People Passed over the Kindred Brook He Said While the Country Was Weeping with a Loud Voice All the People Passed over the King Also Pass over the Brook Kindred and He Said, and All the People Passed over toward the Way to the Wilderness There All Evening Are All Crying Girl Weeping and Going into the Wilderness. Behold, the Doak He Was One of the Two Levites Are the Two like Co-High Priests. The Ark of the Covenant out When the People of Israel See That the Ark of the Covenant Is Gone from Jerusalem and Is with David the Waiver and Their Allegiance, Absalom Is a Good Strategy. David Says Don't Do That. He Says This Return, the Ark of God to the City and Then David Does the Best Thing He Does in This Whole Episode Gives You and Me Advice to Last for a Lifetime. If You Have Unfulfilled Expectations You Have Things in Your Life That Are Never Going to Happen. What Do You Do in That Circumstance. How Do You Handle It.

Notice What David Says. He Said If I Find Favor in the Sight of the Lord That He Will Bring Me Back Again and He Will Show Me Both. It Angers Habitation, but If He Should Save Us. I Have No Delight in You, Behold, Here I Am.

Let Them Do to Me As Seems Good to Him Is What He Said Let Him Do to Me Whatever Seems Good to Him. That's a Key That's the Key. You See When You're Finding Unfulfilled Expectations in Your Life Your Life Not Turn out the Way It Is All and You Keep Wondering What'll I Do What I Do with My Pain When I Have To Do in My Pain Is Get a Perspective You See I Need a Perspective and the Perspective Is I'm Me and He's God. Whatever Seems Right to Him. He Can Do It. That's David's Perspective and All This That's How He Handles These Unfulfilled Expectations.

See, Life Is Disappointing.

If You Haven't Been Disappointed in the past, You Will Be Disappointed in the Future to Be Disappointed. You Know That's the Trouble.

The Reason Are so Many Bigger Old People. Is This They Never Learn This, They Don't Know How to Handle Enter like That so Many Disappointments That by the Time Their Elderly Better. Nothing Turned out the Way They Thought It Was Going to Turn out so Many Disappointments They Get Angry God Angry Life. Some People Escape Alcohol and Drugs As Well Handle My Disappointments. Some Even Try to Live in Denial but It Doesn't Work Very Well. She Does This Really Work. Yes It Does Limit Illustrate Turn with Me to Philippians Chapter 4 in the New Testament, the Book of Philippians Chapter 4 Now the First Thing I Want to Give You Was a Context. Philippians Is a Prison Epistle Paul Was Writing a Letter to the Church at Philippi. And Guess What Calls That He's in Prison Now When You Think of the Apostle Paul, Do You Actually Think That What He Was Thinking How His Life Would Turn out in All These Desires, He Had That He Said One Day, I Sure Hope I Get to Go to Prison. You See, That's What I'd Love to Do about to Be in Prison Any Prison Would Be so Wonderful. In Fact, in His Case How I Go to Prison Twice, Because He Ends up in Prison Twice, and yet Philippians Is Called Epistle Joy and That's What He Talks about the Whole Way through His Joy Will Happen. You Have Joy When You're so Disappointed in Prison While Verse 10 of Chapter 4 Paul Says, but I Rejoiced in the Lord Greatly, That Now at Last You Have Revived Your Concern for Me. Indeed, You Were Concerned before, but You Lacked Opportunity Pulses. I Know One Thing I'm Always Joyful about Man You People Love Me. I Know You Probably Always Love Me Were Concerned about Me but Now That I'm in Prison You Have Gone Out Of Your Way to Minister to Me.

That Gives Me Joy Even Though I'm in Prison.

Many Want to Stop the Waiver by the Way, I Don't Want You to Think That That's the Only Reason I Have Joy Because If You Didn't like Me and You Didn't Want to Minister to Me. I'd Still Be Joyful.

That's What He Says in the Next Verse He Said Not That I Speak from Want, for I Have Learned to Be Content in Whatever Circumstances I Am Doesn't Matter to Me Said I Love the Idea That You Care about Me.

But If You Didn't Care about Me.

It Won't Make Any Difference. I'm Content. You See, I'm Content That He Was on. It Says This I Know How to Get along with Humble Means and I Also Not a Living Prosperity in Any and Every Circumstance I Have Learned the Secret. There Is, I Have Learned the Secret You See That's Why It's the Road Less Traveled. It's a Secret.

We Always Try Other Ways We Always Try Other Roads Post That I Wrote the Secret of Being Filled and Going Hungry, Both of Having Abundance and Suffering Need Paul, Please, Please Tell Me the Secret Here Is I Can Do All Things through Him Strength.

I Can Go through Prison. I Can Be Shipwrecked. I Can Be Bitten by Poisonous Snakes.

I Can Been Beaten with Rods I Can Be Last with Kata Nine Tells I Can Be Stoned and Left for Dead Still Content.

I'm Still Content. I Have Learned the Secret I Can Do All Things through Him Who Strengthens Me Is Just Another Way, with an Additional Promise of Saying What David Said Let Them Do to Me Whatever Seems Good to Him Pulses and by the Way, While I'm Waiting to Give Me the Strength I Can Do All Things through Him Who Strengthens Me See That's Makes You Circumstantial Proof.

No Disappointment Can Be Stood Be so Great for the Christian That You Can Deal with It Because You Have Christ You See That's the Whole Point and by the Way God Makes This Point over and over Again. Think of Disappointments.

What Does God Say How Disappointing Is That the Loser Parents How Hard Is That Very Hard.

He Says to the Orphan.

I Will Be What I'll Be the Father to the Widow. I'll Be What I'll Be Her Husband Seal This Works Boxes All Fulfill That Need.

I'm I'm in Prison but I'm Get Delivered with Me Either by Life or by Death. Either Way I'm Delivered Seal. This Works It Works and Everything in Your Life.
