Today's Destin for victory message dealing with haters. What people are really aiming at you do this your sense of self. Your sense of safety. Your sense of being a dignified person. You don't have to sit and put up with that kind of stuff you can avoid it. If you can unglued you need to get yourself out of harms way, domestic situation and somebody beat you up, sit there and say hi so this stop on John somebody to help it stop by being on fallible pastor. What you do. That's why you have a church family.

We have helped many a person get to a place of safety and help find proper advocating so that somebody can talk to the abuser and say this is not okay in this process. Since there is usually a woman. He sought to harm David and David alluded him. Secondly he sought to humiliate David. What you do when your haters try to humiliate you.

I began talking about the scenario that Jesus brought up of turning the other cheek. Here's the principle behind that you've got to exhibit stronger character and not give him. Now here's what I want you to take away on the second point. Don't allow people to humiliate you instead you practice humility you cannot humiliate me if I walk in humility.

So what's the difference humiliation is something you try to impose on me. You try to press me to the ground, make me feel bad. You try to make me feel less than you try to persecute me and stop me and beat me down, whether physically or psychologically whatever you're trying to force me to agree with you that you are greater that I am nothing.

Whatever it is that's in your mind you are attempting to all press me you're not attempting to harm. In this case your attempting to disrespect me with the whole, I will have an inappropriate response.

That's when you're trying to humiliate somebody that say what how did Saul do that you might've missed the subtlety of when you look at chapter 18 the Bible says that the Lord is with David so the Lord allows him to elude Saul and now Saul verse 12 is afraid of David because the Lord is with them.

So what does he do. The Bible says that he Saul's success. Verse 15 all of Israel and Judah is seen it and so down in verse 17 it says Saul tries to marry him to one of his daughters who said what I look like a blessing. Here's the problem. This is so attempted humiliation. Why remember in chapter 17 when David ran out to the battlefield and saw that no one would fight Goliath and David asked what's going to be done for the guy who killed him. What was the response. The response was what the king said he's going to give his daughter in marriage to whoever kills this giant well David killed the giant according to what Saul said to his entire army. His daughter already belongs to David in marriage, the Bible.

Our goal says that he tries to give him his daughter Marilyn and marriage. But look at this only served me bravely and fight the battles of the Lord will give you my daughter if you go out and kill some more.

My enemies, he's already earned the right to be the king's son-in-law. Now the king is going to make him prove it all over again with us so that either his enemies will kill him or that David will have an inappropriate response and try to stand up against rights as they wait a minute now already killed a live blood fight anybody up to. That's where some of us get messed up who don't know how to walk in humility you so busy trying to stand up for yourself until you will see the subtle idea what's going on here is a man in a power position when the power position and you are in the position of being subject to their power. That's not the time for blue strength is not the time for bravado. That's not the time for you to say I'm not putting up with this. You know what happens in the kingdom when somebody gets in the face of a king.

It doesn't go well what we have to understand is that people can humiliate you without your permission, you are not a victim. You are a volunteer when you get suckered in to a fight, you can't win. And some of you have supervisors and some of you have people who are in power positions in your life who are trying to test your mettle trying to oppress you disrespecting you where you have legal right, legal records, pursuant but in some cases, you will discover it is so subtle and so tricky until there isn't anything you can do, but I'm here to tell you, you can refuse to be humiliated because you can walk in the humility that already has. You know so you can't press me down I'm down already. Not to you.

I walk in humility to please God is really in about you.

God is already taught me that my life is not about me that I'm not the big cheese. It's not about me it's about him anyhow and he taught me to love my enemies. He taught me to do.

The people who try to disrespect me and I'm already walking and that you cannot press me. I'm down so David didn't fall for now. Some of us would've failed this test it a bit all over. Sorry he probably didn't know what is. You can't do that in the kingdom and let me tell you something many of you in your life. You can't do it now in your messenger life up. You just read what all I grew up around called shut mouth grace shut mouth. Old mother church, she said honey, God's given me shut mouth grace and I grew up in his shut mouth. I live long enough to find out the grace when there's something in you that wants to stand up and fight battle. You can't win the grace to be quiet, to be gracious again. I'm not talk about when yourself in harm's way about when you're in a situation where someone just trying to disrespect and humiliate you with the hope that you will show up so good at this that thou suddenly made to and then you have a big nasty explosion. And guess who looks like a bad person who will also offer you had that happen. Somebody baited you on the job. You took the bait start tearing things up in file cabinets (no more than they come in and say why the hostility and you've got to refuse the bait veteran oppress you and disrespect you. God will use that as an opportunity to shine through you. If you hold your peace will shine through you would David bypass that altogether and look at the way he responded. He said my that I would be the king son-in-law in the first place I already want the body more battles and the boys deserve to be the king son-in-law I just come from a lowly family. Nobody see if you live in the state where you are not full of yourself. God can exalt you in his own way. The next king of Israel, but in his eyes. He is not big at all subtle about the problem we have is that we believe our own press releases. We believe our greatness when in fact no matter if it does anything good happening in your life or mine.

It is the work of Almighty God around the country and doing his radio rallies and what have you and meeting listeners all over the country and so I always make a point to meet folks in freedom and talk with them and thank you for listening and taking pictures and signing autographs and all that in one of my members was that when I'm in another city. One time they were visiting was on vacation and they sought is going on and they look to me today so we know Pastor was famous well it's not a matter of saying it is a matter of God has given me influence in these people's lives and excited to let me know what God is doing and I said, but the thing I love about it is God prepared me so that these flashing cameras and signing autographs and books and kissing babies in all of this stuff to my head when I get through. I still know who I am and I know I gotta make heaven just like you all obey the word just like you just preach it. I don't get a pass sometime when I'm done preaching I got to get my own CD so that word, they got me to think that one who live below live in a state of humility before God. Don't let people bait you when you see them trying to be examined that subtlety and disrespect and try to make you go off and blame it on you.

Don't go for. And David said no problem. I don't deserve to be in your family anyway and so will games go to somebody else and in the third and final thing is sometimes your haters will seek to hand you over to your enemies, the Bible says that Saul had another daughter who was in love with David named Michael in verse 20 and the Bible says that she was in love.

She told her daddy and he was pleased and he said all right I'll give her to him because he thought she may be a snare to him so that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.

So Saul said to David, now you have a second opportunity to become my son-in-law. Then he said to his attendant speak to David privately said the king is pleased with you and his attendance all like you. Now come on and become his son-in-law. They repeated these words to David, but David said do you think it's a small matter to become the king son-in-law, I'm only a poor man and little known, but now you see Saul's real intent.

Then he goes on and says this and she's in love with you man your gonna have a good marriage. All you got to his go out and pay the price for your bride, which is 100 Philistine foreskins to take revenge on your enemies, the plan look at this. Saul's plan was to have David fall by the hands of the Philistines.

Some folk don't want to kill you. They just want to set you up so others will kill you. I do run in the fall. Then I fired a bullet but they will arrange to have you in the crosshairs they will station you right here it's good Judith syndrome where Judas left the fellowship sitting and dying with Jesus, pretending to be disciple but evil had entered his heart and for money. He sold out his Savior and the Bible says he set Jesus up. He told Jesus enemies.

The one you see me plant a kiss on the one you to get don't think everybody kissing you lose you some focus setting you up what you do when they try to harm you, what you doing to try to humiliate you.

You walk in humility what you do when they try to hand you over to your enemies. You trust God to give you the victory. What happened this time.

This time David can't refuse it because the king is set him up. He got other folks and I know this is right. This is good blessing David gonna marry this girl. And so David now is in a position where he cannot deny the king. There's too much pressure for him to marry this girl.

What is he do. The Bible says he goes out and by the hand and the blessing of God.

Verse 27 he killed those Philistines 200 of them not. Did you notice the price was 100, God blessed them, and he brought back double trouble presented the full number two became so that he might become his son-in-law listen.

There are some battles you can't fight they are some times when you are set up to be destroyed. You can alluded, but yet they're trying to kill you.

That's when you say Lord I'm in your hands.

I'm believing you to give me the victory and I want to close by reminding you of a Scripture that says no weapon, all updates you prosper. All you gotta do is keep your hand in the Lord's and all you gotta do is walk in humility and obedience. All you gotta do is trust God day by day by day and no weapon. Listen, don't misquoted say no weapon will be formed if said no weapon formed will prosper all the weapons will befall you see a name that you put your trust God, you allude when you can walk in humility and obedience. But what is all said and done your trust and watch God give you the watch God turn your enemies out lots God and give you the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He's a fugitive for years and all he's done is try to help this guy talk about tough times. David went through them and he tells us how to get through them just by his very example.

David now enters into a period of time where he is nutritive from the very king he is supposed to succeed on the phone for years.

David is not hiding he's doing all right things but seemingly getting all the wrong result.
