Esther chapter 4 beginning from verse nine. On this particular passage on reading from the new international version, but you can follow silently with whatever version you are having back went back and reported to Esther what Mordecai had said.

Then she instructed him to say the Mordecai all the kings officials and the people of the royal provinces know that any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the King has but one law that he be put to death. The only exception to this is for the king to extend the royal scepter to him and spare his life, but 30 days have passed. Esther said since I was called to go to the king when asked his words will reported the Mordecai he sent back this answer do not think that because you are in the king's house, you alone of all the Jews will escape for if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place. But you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this.

Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai go gather together all the Jews who are in Susa and fast for me.

Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day, I and my maids will fast as you do when this is done I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. Watch this and if I perish, I perish.

Well, let me pick up where we left off last time discussing this business of being pushed into purpose.

My my contention in this short series is that some of also feeling our hand in our back and it's really nothing more than God pushing you out of our comfort zone pushing you out of what you've been used to pushing you out of the know and he's pushing you toward his purpose, which is going to take you into the unknown. But let me assure you God is the one who began a good work in you. We established in the first part of the series and God is going to bring it all the way to completion and so the price you're feeling is coming from him getting you ready for something new, and so I want to pick up where I left off. I ended the last message I giving you the first of three directives for those who are being pushed into purpose.

The first directive is what I more.

Now I gotta say up through more things about it and then I'll give you the other two before this message and series is concluded. Here is the first directive look at your possibilities not just your problems.

Look at your possibilities, not just a problems verse 14 of Esther four Mordecai said a girl who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this bear was Mordecai who was her cousin technically but really he was pretty much an adoptive father after her parents died and so Mordecai said listen, I didn't tell you this so you would just say all I wish I could do some but I can help you PSA you look at your pulse entities not just the problem we're all having problems as Jews here in Persia and that this man Haman has decreed that we are all going to be wiped out. But let's not forget a problem. Let's look at the possibility you are a Jewish woman and God has blessed you to become the Queen of Persia. The Persian Empire and he said, who knows, but that God himself has appointed you for such a time as this and I'm trying to help all of us understand you gotta stop looking only at your problems and you gotta start looking at your possibilities go since we are called according to God's purpose that this is going to ensure that whatever the enemy tries to slur evil is going to turn it around for good. And so you and I have to begin focusing on the possibilities I give you a few examples as I ended the last message I will go back into those. Let me give you a few new examples. Go to second Kings chapter 4 and we just heard about that pastor Keith battle came and preached a wonderful message from second Kings chapter 4 and it was already in my notes and I when I heard them last week as it was a man all up in my message, but the answer is probably because I need to come back and say what was in my notes with you what he said last week to make sure somebody will understand that you haven't been left empty-handed. God has given you some see that when you saw it is going to produce a harvest of righteousness and second Kings chapter 4 our profits would all have a problem with the problem. That's all God is calling you to do just use what you got. Don't cry about what you don't have use what you got because the miracle is going be based on what you already have and as she poured the oil continued flowing and you know this vessel is slow and she goes to the next one implores and bears the same thing that one fills up go to the next one important… You will never comprehend how he's doing what he's doing. But guess what, you don't have to comprehend. All you gotta do is obey him and watch him work. And that's what happens here and she until all the borrow vessels were full of oil went back though from the original wild never stopped me until all the borrow vessels were full and I need you to know that when God gives you something to do doing because the miracle is tied to your obedience. Just don't baby him and he will work it out. Now in Bible times when a married woman was barren. That was the point of stigma.

People would think low. Maybe the Lord cursed her maybe sums wrong with the life blood of thrall on you when they don't know anything about you or your circumstances. And in that day that would make married women with no children feel really bad because they suffered from barrenness and sold this to my woman holding sinkings for was a great woman but she was barren.

Now where is the possibility the problem is barrenness but the possibility if she was a great name and what is that mean what it says great woman. It means she was broke off financially and may system was paid, it means when I got married to marry money married money and so she had the money already and she said well this is what God gave me as a government child, allow me to get pregnant, but I do have money and when the prophet Elisha comes through town. I noticed that he don't have anywhere to stay and she got in her heart. I believe my husband and I are to prepare for this man of God a given his old little sweet room and a bed and a desk and all that is old little sweet and will build it up on the second floor of our house.

They have a single-story house but they just built the second room on the and that became Elisha's room when he came through town. As a result of doing what God put in her heart. Next thing you know, Elisha shows up one of those times he stay in their sins. His servant got Hayes I is that woman what we can do for her, and she said no, I'm good. And then as I said but but met a guy I do know one thing about her.

She doesn't have any children and that's when the word of the Lord came in the prophet's mouth and he said tell her this time next year shall be bound to the baby boy when she sees all and you see her attitude is don't get my hopes up and making it fine, barren disease, people whispering about me around the city.

Okay. Don't get me started up, but the one trying to make her feel good. The word of God in his mouth and she got pregnant, don't just look at your problem you gotta look at your possibility and second Kings six.

Go to chapters over second Kings six and you see that the king of Syria is warring against Israel always wanted to take out God's people, but Elisha is a man of God in Israel. And when Syria's army would set an entrapment for the Israelite army, then God would show it to Elisha and Elisha would send word to the king and say don't go down that route go that way knowing you'll need to go another way. And that happening. So much so that the king of Syria called new people around him. He said look what he does this by every time I set up an entrapment. Somehow they know were going to be there.

We got a double agent in here and somebody's okay no problem is not a double agent.

The problem is is a prophet in Israel. I love it when you read it, then sinking six. This is what you say in your bedroom. God lifts the prophet Elisha listen in.

The problem is not spied a problem is a prophet and he's okay let me take out the prophets even know that this is a man of God you can just think we can get away with so he decides I'm going to kill this property finds out that the prophets down in the city of Dalton and he sends his army and they surround the city so they can take out the prophet and got Hayes.

I wakes up one more looks out the window sees that the Army of Syria has been surrounded and he panics all God. We are in trouble. Elisha gets subgoal to the same window looks at the same thing and instead of thinking Elisha smiles and I'm sure the Hayes I would like to look busy and finally we got the download. Would you left about, but that's because Elisha so what do Hayes. I didn't see in fact, the passage goes on to say, Lord, open his eyes so we can see that and see what you show me, and when God open the eyes of days. I sold the problem the kings only of Syria but he sold the possibility surrounding them was a hose from heaven. Did your problem.

You just gotta look for God's possibility that's going to turn into your provision and so that's what happening.

God wiped out the Army with blindness so that the prophet could just slip right away and they never saw them because they were blinded until he got away. I love this God you serve, you can't always predict or figure out what is going do what you will know that in me in your gonna win. Why, because of what Isaiah 5417 says Monaco quoted these days, but it's worth quoting now. No weapon against you is going to prosper me that rises up against you. God is going to bring you understand something, the weapons will be formed.

It's just that God won't let him work to their intended purpose. Even when God uses your enemy and your enemy put you through some changes and some trials even that is part of what he's going to bring to pass an sold child of God you must be assured that God is up to something in your life. Don't just look at your problems look at your possibilities. Let me just begin to introduce the second of these directives and then will take a quick break number two. Your partnerships leverage your partnerships. What I mean by that. What I want to look at verses 15 and 16 of Esther chapter 4, Esther sent this reply to Mordecai goal gathered together all the Jews who are in Susa and fast for me. We'll see what happened after they get out okay. God has me in this palace for his purpose and I'm supposed to go to the king, even though he hasn't invited me in to be with him. I'm supposed to go that normally would spell my dad but if God is up to something here. Then I got to respond sold before I respond.

Esther figures I gotta get some help. I want to tell somebody the Lord is pushing you into a season in your life when you can no longer operate like a Lone Ranger you cannot be alone and be blessed.

You cannot be isolated and be blessed not because of your personal desire, but because it's God's desire for you.

The purpose God is the one who is making you into some new areas. Some new arenas and for your gonna have to leverage your partnerships now realize some of you that's not particularly good news for a couple reasons. Some of you because of your temperament. You love being by yourself. You love isolation, that's fine for your recreation is fine for your you know, chilling out. Some people need to be alone and quiet to chill out. I married a woman like that when my wife wants to be rejuvenated.

She wants to get by herself. Maybe with a book or something like that and she had one noise and that more people around her and she gets charged by that kind of personal rejuvenation, that's fine. That's fine the people naturally in terms of your temperament charged by activity and by fellowship and by connectedness on that type of person I used to preach and when I get home a little lunch. What have you. And then for pretty years. There was a group of us that would go out and play cards together and stuff and I loved at least once a month. I wanted to do that and my wife. She tried to go along with it once or twice, and she quickly figured out now know this is what I need on a Sunday afternoon and she will stay home. Let me go and with all the noise and because you know we play cards. We play with God will place look like we say, but we really say no, but we really say you know we played spades and talk about people's family and all that, stop some of y'all can handle that you not even sure that Holy Ghost people supposed to be like that. I can assure you I'm saying on spec but when you sit down at the table with me.
