And I go back to the resurrection of Christ. The reason why he was raised from the dead was to give us life abundant and eternal and I set our focus there and then you him he began to teach on the matter of prayer because if we're going to get through 2021 were only going to do it through prayer, we gotta get through the rest of this pandemic and all of its fallout and it's going to take prayer and we need to make sure prayer is always firing the winning shot say Lord we don't have the power, but you have the power to help us get through this and so I'm looking forward to helping people refocus and helping us center ourselves in things that are most important prayer and keeping an eternal perspective are among them.

As we look in the second part of this chapter Paul going to continue to discuss the matter of the resurrection of the dead, but he shifts his attention from Christ's resurrection to the resurrection that will take place with all of us who are here on earth, so I have entitled this part of our study. Paul gives us a preview of coming attractions and he opens a section by giving us a general role a general principle that he is going to expound through the remainder of the chapter. Here's the goal here is the principle what you see now is not what you will see later. In essence what he says is what you see is not what you will get. But there is something coming that is far greater than what we can see now let's look at the way Paul expounds this point, beginning in verse 35. He says some of you may ask, how are the dead raised with what kind of body will they come.

How foolish what you sow does not come to life unless it dies when you so you do not plant the body that will be but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else.

So he begins this section by saying the law of the harvest, the law of sowing and reaping. He says when you put a seed in the ground.

The farmer does not expect a giant seed to come forth.

But there is something that the seed contains that will come forth and he is saying if you want to understand what God has in store for future just realize that just as OC comes in a polar different form. After it is harvested so you and I are going to die, but when we come forth we will come forth in a different form and then he makes the next point.

Verse 38.

God gives the see the body as he determined to each kind of CD gives its own body.

All flesh is not the same men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. There are also heavenly bodies. There are earthly bodies, but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one guy, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another star differs from star in splendor soul.

It will be with the resurrection of the dead soul Paul begins the help us understand what could happen by saying just look at the law of the harvest, he says, look at the log diversity look at the fact that God it was intentional and diversifying creation so that not everything has the same purpose. Now he makes this point because he is about to explain what's going to happen with you and I which is very different from all of the rest of creation.

God loves diversity he created the entire universe just to let you know how big he was. Which is why I often say it makes no sense to look in an orderly universe and conclude no one ordered it. You can reach that conclusion sickly if you see a lot or someone had moderate just look at your house. Your house doesn't get an order by itself. Someone has ordered and that happens, the clear, the glory of God and he says look at the varsity God was intentional about diversifying integration and he created a unique way because he wanted to show us his glory, and he wanted to make us like himself, which is why we need to learn to honor God's diversity. The log diversity. When God makes people who have different temperaments then you honor the fact that they're different then you don't complain about the fact that they're different than you and by God's design and everybody was like you, the world would be in bad shape bad shape.

Everybody can be loud.

Somebody has a quote everyone Required somebody got to speak out. Everyone can have a strong opinion, someone's gotta be willing to follow the opinion of somebody else. Not everyone can be opinionated because somebody got a make up their mind and soul. God was intentional about giving us different temperaments in different trades and different characteristics and what we need to learn to do is honor God by honoring one another and celebrating the fact that not everyone looks at the world exactly the way you look at the world but as long as their life conforms to the will and the purpose of God as expounded in his word. We need to celebrate it.

And even when people's lives are out of compliance with God's word don't beat them up. Pray for me love him and lovingly point them away and that way we can honor God's law of diversity. Now all of that is his foundation because he's about to give us the preview of coming attractions and specifically Paul was going to tell us in the next several verses that when the Lord returns. There is something miraculous that is going to happen with mankind and what I want to do is help you see what is going to happen in all of our lives. What I'm about to explain is not just something about the emotions and imagination, but rather it is what is actually going to happen in your life. First of all, one day you're going to die unless you happen to be here when the Lord returns, you are going to die and come to church to hear you're going to die, but oh well if you die and not meant to stay here if you're fortunate enough to be alive when the Lord comes.

That's the only way you won't face physical death but all the people are going to die yet leaves are going leave the planet everyone who ever came to the planet. The planet, unless they are alive at this very moment in everyone alive now is going to leave the Bible only records to people who didn't leave the traditional way of right. Do you know your Bible list the names Elijah and Enoch, Enoch. In the book of Genesis. The Bible says the man walked with God until he was not. It's wonderful. What that means. As he walked with God for God and one day the Lord has got so brought in the fellowship. He was having with walking and talking one day hanging out and then looked up their conversation got so good. You know what we called the house to your house one to my house with me walk with the Lord until he was not the world family never did get to say goodbye to the prophet of the Old Testament.

One day the Lord caught him up. The Bible says he went up in a chariot of fire, and his successor, Elisha was standing there on that occasion and saw the Lord catch him away and grabbed the prophet's mantle and continued to be prophet in his analyzer just got caught up and went to be with the Lord every body else die die die. That is the great common denominator you are going to check out your going to leave you all leave rich or poor.

You going to leave that matter what class you're in what socioeconomic level. No matter how healthy you are, what you jog and pop pills and drink juice, and you do that will fight the good fight.

I'm in this stage of life. I just have my 49th birthday this week and so I'm now on my countdown: my friend get a calendar just tell every day, 365 till 50. I'm on my break countdown but I'm fighting the good fight I'm trying to learn new habits of this day. Drink all the water and an intake of vitamins and do everything on an unknown method out to me, but I will try to give it a run you but the best one you can but know that you're not running and you don't have to be sick. You don't have to be all that great common denominator. The mortality rate for human beings is 100% well all leave to go preach good news. I'm about to but you gotta tell the truth. He says that all of us are going to experience a miraculous transformation. Look at verses 44 and 51, 52, verse 44 first Corinthians 15 says this one is so is a natural body that's that you live in.

Now the natural body. He said what is going to be a way to say what he calls a spiritual body. There is a natural body. He says there is also a ritual body verse 51 he says listen, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep. That means some people may be forced to be alive when the Lord comes again, he says, but we will all be changed. Here's the instantaneous part of class in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, the trumpet will sound that will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed first thing you can look forward to regarding this transformation is going to be instantaneous, you're going to go from having a natural body having what he calls a spiritual body and that change is going to happen and that's why you got a little variety to meet the Lord, because you don't know when he's coming and everybody Magi real quick fast no time to back part no time to make calls and send emails and all I'm sorry treated that way and and please when Jesus shows up against that white got some business to take care of moment everything is different in a moment in a moment like constraints silently, even in the sense of our live here and now seven changes, most of us can remember a crisis point and I live where you and your whole life changed as you heard a loved one is gone off of some tragedy that impacted you or someone you love and it changes you gotta live already.

You can live planning to get ready.

One day, you gotta live ready because the transformation that's coming is instantaneous. Look at verse 42 door body best spiritual body that he talks about is one that will not die. Verse 42, so it will be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is so simple, but it's going to be raised imperishable. You know what that means, that means the second one left, and the one that's on order will know that you will be in conscious existence 1 million years from today will be in conscious existence will be in oblivion.

Why because we saw God have different purposes for creation he created us as eternal beings, the stars and them that will manage one day be a new heaven and a new earth.

All that you see now, but you were created living soul and we're going to be alive will have conscious existence. A million years from now, whether you were in Christ when you died or out of Christ you will have conscious existence of millionaires from the body that is coming is a body that will not die. That's why it's not physical in the sense that this body is because you know this is like cars, is and will last forever and you know you're getting the signs now aches and pains and no funny things that go on in your body, you never felt before. Pains that the car needs to be traded, and sooner or later we all all young and fit and you don't know what XM pains are a word from God for you. Just keep on living. Just keep on living your past and just jump up and go and do whatever you want to know my father when he got in and what have you start talking about you know I got up this morning on the side of the bed and got myself earth so that the use of milk.

My father did love complainant good luck finding something complain about know and what had I just thought it was just jokes on the side of the loan jump up and bound into the bathroom to take some morning get yourself together before somebody that the car after a while little signs that things are the way they used to be.

And you gotta work with yourself. Gotta be more than ever, and I thought about that we may apply our wisdom smart as you get older.

Ask God to help you figure out how to live in every season of your life and quick like in 2020 thank God for your 20 like you know you are 66 state 7070. Thank God you major priest but don't retry the race. Somebody 25 years all you just gotta act like you know things on you, but you have things on them so they got strength.

Hopefully you have a little more wisdom and so it's a tie God blesses you and every season, but these are reminders. These things are gone. I body the transformation body starts turning colors by the color in the store, you wake up in the color gray come from what you did in life and so we just got to understand that the body when now man is not one year. All of us are going to go and embed the child of God remains God is going to give you a body where you can enjoy his goodness and his without any restriction we are going to die, God is just the motion into that everlasting realm where we enjoyed God throughout eternity.

It's a transition that is coming your body.

Your body will not die. The one that is on the way will not die, but start point.

Not only will it change in an instant.

Not only will the second body not die, but the third one is that the second body will be restricted regarding physical limitations. Here's what he means.

Look at verse 43 in verse 43 he says it is so talk about the natural body and dishonor, but it is raised in glory.

It is sown in weakness but it is raised in power when he uses the word power. What he means is just as weakness is characterizing your physical life. Now that is you get physically older and you eventually get weaker preset, but the body that is coming is not only going to the problem that your body down for you. The second body will never get no imagine a world with no more sickness, no more pain. No more goodbyes God's promise. All that and more, to those who put their faith in him.
