Thank you think you call Connie for that for that call. I mean I've not familiar with this this belief. It sounds to me quite strange so just just embracing the Old Testament and rejecting the New Testament a note if your friend claims to believe in Jesus but doesn't like the writings in the New Testament are trying to live according to the laws were given under the old covenant doing that really is the denial of the work of Jesus Christ. What he's done. This is why you know, the book of Hebrews was written. For example, there were people who were going back to the types and shadows. The ceremonies of the Old Testament, seeking to to put their trust in their confidence in the animal sacrifices and the dietary laws and all of those things in the author. The Hebrew says to them quite sternly.

Don't do that. That is if you do that you're trampling Jesus under underfoot it's it's as if you don't recognize that he became an accomplished redemption once for all in.

In John chapter 5 in verse 39 he said to them, you search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life, and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life, the Scriptures, the Old Testament bear witness of Jesus. They testify of Jesus, and if were rightly understanding the Old Testament working to see how it leads us by the hand to Jesus, our Savior and so these friends of yours. Just aren't understanding the Old Testament and they're certainly not understanding the New Testament so I would I would say praying for them may be sharing John chapter 5 with them. That would be a good passage of Scripture to look at for another place you can go to his Jesus's appearance after his resurrection to his disciples in Luke chapter 24 versus 36 and following working points out how the Old Testament bears witness of him points to him everywhere and so may the Lord bless you and be with you and I and I pray that the Lord works in this couple these friends of yours? And recently he publicly apologized for having that local views in the past on homosexuality. The other is a well-known preacher that teaches that the Old Testament is no longer applicable to ask and we should only study the New Testament. My question is are those that follow away ones that are deceived can't remain saved or were they never truly true believers to begin. I Think That We Just Have To Be Careful That Were Not Putting Our Confidence in the Words That We Pray, but in the God to Whom Were Praying and What He's Done. You Don't Have To Say These Words to Be Saved Is Not like Me Another Magic Words That Save You What You Have To Do Is Trust in Jesus Christ Believe on Him for the Forgiveness of Your Sins. And Then When That Happens, the Spirit of God Comes and Lives in Us. You Know, Transforming Us by His Grace, Day by Day Sanctifying Us Is God Doesn't Just Abandon Us There. He Wants to Have That Personal Relationship with Each and Every One of Us. And so I Don't You Know It in Our Church. My Question Is about Baptism Today. My Husband and I Were in Church and There Was Baptism Meeting with Very Nervous about Getting Immersed and When the Pastor Kept Her Back. He Didn't Take Her All the Way under the Water, and I'm Sure It Was Because I Was Very Nervous but Brought up the Question When My Husband and I Would Bet Baptism Be Valid Because She Was Not Fully Immersed. I Think That I Am No Maybe Were Being a Little Too Legalistic but I Just Want to Get Your Take on That Had to Say Thank You so Much Again for Your Ministry and Got Much about Lori, Thank You so Much. Glad to Hear We Can Be an Encouragement to You. So Were Talking about Here Is the Proper Mode of Baptism As an Individual Need to Be Dunked All the Way It If They're Not Dunked Is That Is That an Illegitimate Baptism I Want about Sprinkling Water or Pouring Water. We Know Some Traditions, Including One That I'm a Part of Wheat We Do That with with Baptisms As Well and I Think There's Nothing Wrong with That. I Think There's Biblical Basis for This in the Scriptures. For Example, Just Think about the Next Chapter 1 When Jesus Told His Disciples. John Baptized with Water, but You Will Be Baptized with the Holy Spirit Not Many Days from Now How Is That Baptism in the Holy Spirit Depicted Not As a Full Immersion but Is the Pouring out of the Spirit of God on the Disciples You Go Ahead to Acts Chapter 2 in Verse 33 Being Exalted at the Right Hand of God and Having Received from the Father the Promise of the Holy Spirit, He Has Poured out This That You Yourselves Are Seeing and Hearing You Often Times in the New Testament Have the Language of Washing Related to Baptism in Places like Ephesians Chapter 5 Verse 26. Even the Language of Being Sprinkled with the Blood of Jesus Christ and Again That's That's What's Pictured in.

This Is Good and Acceptable in the Eyes of God Who Desires All People to Be Saved and to Come to the Knowledge of the True Decent Pray for These People That They Might Be Saved Because God Hears Those Prayers and Because We Trust That God Works in and through the Prayers of His People. Now There Is Again It Is the Start a Great Mistreatment in Terms of How This All Works to God Is Aptly Sovereign. He's Decreed All Things, and yet His Decree Is Accomplished in and through These Mites. A Secondary Causes Us. You Know What Were Working Serving Following the Lord, and so This Should Also Give You Sister. I Would Say Confidence That When You Pray God Is Able to Open the Heart. If God Is Sovereign Because God Is Sovereign, We Should Pray That He Would Do What We Can't Do and That's Open the Heart of Sinners Who Are Blind in Sin. God Bless.
