I don't get involved shall be hold people accountable. One now now chosen generation with your host Pastor Greg. Don't forget you can get more chosen generation, and pastor Greg Young God or generation ready onGreg, thanks so much Judy and I do know you have a choice in where you can listen to dear generation radio over live in Dallas Texas seatback 20, 21, and that it is happening down here and I'm really pleased to welcome my next justice. Gosh, I'm I'm I'm thinking that it was yeah before you were the acting Atty. Gen. this we met at SeaTac in DC probably about six years ago, five, five, six years ago. Some somewhere along in in that timeframe. I will Obama was was the present. I was with the foundation for trust. You are one of the first radio interviews I did on radio row for my first it seemed like a million years ago. We have when I saw you yesterday, so people that you schedule your responsible for my own schedule. Well it is a joy to have your brother and and and as you know I mean when things were happening and I would be no issues going on send you a quick text and say brother praying for you. You know I talk about this a lot, especially when I'm in a servile speech is from state and you know it was those prayer warriors those people that were you just feel like lifted my wings.

People that were praying, concerned about those those positions that I know present from uniquely as well, nothings above your pay grade hundred 10,000 other people in and make a decision. So you have to you know it's pretty lonely.

So as well. So thank you and I want to say this publicly because III wanted on records you are truly one of good guys. One of the guys with tremendous principle and integrity dishonest.

I'm not sure.

I appreciate that he he he will and about 10 years now. He will in about 10 years so say… Dad was right that that's how that's how that works. I got a 32-year-old and a 30-year-old plus the other three so I II understand that but II just I appreciate that you serve as a kind of I walk in the path that no reasonable walk before uniquely my life have I really treasure these opportunities, I saw president from about a month ago and I went to New York and set down a great chat and I appreciate those opportunities serve for about 25 some my life. Justice US attorney is acting Atty. Gen. in a just and opportunities are treasure sure one of the challenges timing for those patriots and and supporters of the present was a sense that you know after you had left it that the Department of Justice was not in his corner. I was not helping him in the way that we would've expected and that that doesn't mean that we want. I guess you know that all you wanted Atty. Gen. is just a guess that well, okay, no what you wanted Atty. Gen.

This at least on the same page are in the same book as the president is serving. Can you speak to any of that. All I can say is that obviously present from Joe's Jeff sessions a lot of people felt that that was not a good fit and then obviously the president had been before. He chose billboards to finish up that term and I think it matters Atty. Gen. is and the relationship president very difficult job and held it knows that you think about the portfolio it's it's it's massive and plus are giving all the legal advice to the executive branch departments within the executive branch and so it is big Mission Bay portfolio same time. No, I think it's one of the really interesting departments and with inside the executive branch. You get all along the idea. ATF US marshals.

Also, the Bureau of prisons in the US attorneys and everything comes back to dispute your issues are massive and national security, international portfolio took me several trips to Europe with the Columbia one is acting Atty. Gen. to meet with the president of Columbia to work on their drug trafficking issues that continue to haunt the country Columbia peace agreement was made. This is really get it neat placement to your point, I think that unfortunately at times it sure seemed like the part of justice is working against present Senate with them, which is agenda which was lawful and legitimate and let me carve some of that out to indifferences as you said, you know, I I'm not sure that Jeff sessions didn't bamboozle to some degree and and and and and and I think all of us couldn't believe what they actually did what what you know what what was what was done what Mueller you know got away with him. What he did get a friend named John Malkovich that wrote a book, Robert Mueller, errand boy for the New World order, and he just falls on public documentation and all the things that that man was involved in the challenges the president of United States no matter what party deserves Atty. Gen. unified command so one person is what happened when Jeff sessions recused is that Rod Rosenstein had essentially was the acting Atty. Gen. for purposes of the bonus as the rest of the station and then had this sort of two-headed monster just never got there. After a lot of decisions were made in October 2017.had been passed as a very difficult management structure and you know I think you will get history records what what happened happened, but very early on, or the president got his people all in place before general sessions got all his people in place. I think some very critical decisions made and set a correction that ended up causing a lot of challenges he faced, so it's no big and that was it. I mean, that was kind of administrative why when you look at the State Department is a sample I would friend went to work for the State Department as a trump appointee that when they found out he was a trump appointee.

They got him fired doesn't surprise me.

You know I mean you know and and and he and he speaks to that there were basically three factions. There was the establishment action.

The ones that testified in the Ukraine impeachment trauma that acted as though they were the ones that were in charge of our foreign policy and the president had nothing to do with it and then and then there there was Rex's people and and and then there was, you know, 1/3 element of grace all element that was going to be loyal to the president that essentially was rooted out my message to all those bureaucrats think somehow that the president is completely in charge of the foreign policy and all the policies of the executive branch of government basically run for president because you know what the American people elected Donald Trump president for those four years, and he should have been given the ability to command his worldview and ultimately did the right people the right places, and we got a lot of those things accomplished.

I think about all the success in order essentially made work with Mexico City employ their military to prevent the illegal crossings and then we had the remaining Mexico policy, which people apply for asylum didn't have a free pass United States six months later qualify for a green card that you put them on a path to work in the United States.

While there asylum claim they never saw me again. I stop still pretty raw for me know. I understand, especially since it's all being undone and we finally had fixed the jump rolled toward ourselves in front of ourselves into this way to within the law, even though it's broken within the law implemented a really good system for managing completely screwed up J.

Christian Adams talked about this. He spent I know you know you know he spent a year with Obama before he's he and Hans, I believe both were like gods done with this, but he wrote in his book and talked about how Obama really fundamentally change the Department of Justice and so when Pres. Trump brought in Jeff sessions and then yourself. You were kind of a small one if you will, a special forces group that had landed kind of in foreign territory.

Yeah, you're right.

However, I look at it. We took over several cases in midstream, and by working with the head of the office of legal counsel, Steve Engel and no Franciscan solicitor Gen. we flip positions in four cases possible for this case is one Supreme Court and so you think about sort of way. We took control and actually made the right decisions for the right reason and I think we record of success is stamped at the time, but there is no doubt was. There are a lot of lawyers, especially the department of justice that are better. Don't but it's just, you know, again I think especially on some of Pres. Trump's most sensitive agenda items. They were slow rolling us in slow walking and otherwise not helping us implement people's cases where they could were unwilling to make the argument that people quit their jobs because you know they're being asked to do something which was very much within the law and within the range of reasonable are crazy ideas work on writing for the conservative sure where the consistent with the law absolutely and you know I just think about how many times we just had to work against our own people to try to get things done is very frustrating but you know we just got every morning know that is you got to do with whatever hilltop was the way whatever. That's something you handle a lot of people are concerned. Hey, a lot of people are concerned about the John Durham investigation and and and is it what what what what is it you have any sense for I don't what you know. I don't know John yesterday, Connecticut worked with and I have a lot of respect for his son John Durham Junior is in AUSA New York very good talk again. Prosecutor a lot of MS 13 cases and so John Senior you know I think was the right person to figure out the Gordian knot that was the origins of the Russian investigation and and try to find it. There was no justification or predication for that investigation, and John should get to the bottom of what I'm worried about is now that the vitamins freshness and control in America, Atty. Gen. is that's is never to see the light of day because there's no obligation. Special counsel regulates the justice that special counsel reports the American people. Counterparts.

Atty. Gen. who pointed and what Atty. Gen. does with that information is going up to the Atty. Gen. so John could give an oral report report. We may never know any of the sad thing is that the media is never can ask that I can try to find out it's very I think about how you know how responsive we were to the media and then how this this Department of Justice is very arrogant and unwilling to really answer basic questions about some of these things right now. What wall while being accuses of being secretive right you're very transparent about what was going on in our questions, and rightly were unafraid to just our decisions. Sure, absolutely talk to me about today what what what are we doing what is what's what's met Whitaker gassing Dan today is Saturday. I am enjoying.

I was I love really ever since we met six questions ago and I get a lot of energy for this is the base of the base right Texas base and state that conservative policies are are winning out or making a difference in people's lives anything about my home state of Iowa, where the same thing you know, the legislature by Republicans in conservatives in the government's conservator in this report. House conservative they're implementing policies that are helping people in their everyday lives and so you know what I'm doing now back in the preference law and help companies, individuals through some very difficult situations. You don't helping people navigate the wall and policies that both it and state level with. These offices and also the federal level, the department just some I'm also very excited about the America first legal group involving Stephen Miller, Mark Meadows and others were making a serious difference in holding accountable and you know make sure that their policies, many of them which are illegal law are not implemented and that you recent wins.

Very early in our three months of existence. A number excited about that project. I work with great to get back for three minutes. When we come back if we can really like to get your thoughts on this class-action lawsuit filed or get your opinions on that will be back right after this you listening the second generation radio.

Very excited to be sitting with the former Atty. Gen. acting United States of America was three dollars a couple coffee you go by my and and some of that I that I consider friend and I'm I'm I'm on it like what I'm always ready, willing and able it done. A lot interviews over the years: thank you notes good to have the let's talk about this new case media case.

The present is filed lawsuit. As I understand against Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and Facebook and Jack Dorsey, CEO and twitter talk about what we can about that raises to very interesting issues. The first is the First Amendment issue and the ability of the social media company for a lot of the discussion to censor users and content and and so I think that's can be.

The cases can work its way over… Think what I think it may set new law based on how these social media companies operate and how they bore people from the platforms. The second thing is a section 230 immunity and decency act. In that case. While I don't think this is necessarily to be the final blow on section 232 units create the environment that Congress, in the very near future still amend section 230 take away some of the communities from from individual lawsuits and liabilities banning otherwise.

Many people from communicating these is this big enough that it could find to the leadership at either one of these companies and their organizations. In both cases, I think that CEOs have a lot a lot of ownership in the company and our founders so I think it can be very difficult. I think what's also going to happen if you could see Congress or the federal government with state's whims of the trust challenges to break them especially Facebook did with Instagram in and taking over WhatsApp and some of these other platforms that they gobbled up for billion dollars here and $1 billion. There I think you can see a reevaluation of some of those powers, validation, think about remain social media platforms and Instagram and to the three were owned by faith, else you know it's a very powerful yet is certainly like monopoly, reminisces his will. 6806 is politician brave enough to actually do something about it. Sometimes members Congress the greatest folks I got I got Matt. Thank you. This is good to see you. Nice to see your son as well.
