Learn more@edwardjones.com hi, I'm Jane Pauling and this is always morning featuring a memorable story from our most conversation that offers insights beyond the broadcast this weekend.

Lee Coward is spending time with Harrison for the actor. Many of us know, is Han Solo or Indiana Jones or Jack Ryan I'm telling you that you had 77 he's still at the top of his game and a leading man extraordinaire we could go. Case in point is latest performance of the new movie based on Jack London.

The call of the wild. Here's their conversation was it was said before that there's always got to be for you anyway some kind of emotional connection with the character.

Take a real strong emotional connection with the character because of his relationship with this is a character that in the book is not very flush out of the sky is comes into the story without any background or history really functions just to change the plot for book and they establish a complicated relationship but the complication is that while Baucus is hearing the call of the wild John Thorton is finding through his relationship with the potential courage to go back and face.

His wife is not in the wild, but it was that that's withdrew to the park potential for that in that relationship drew me to CGI obviously is no stranger to you. What is the protagonist. It was there something there for you play yeah yeah I was there was a after mentoring notary who was a former Cirque du Soleil gymnast and in that parts important because he was able to move really dogs move with the left and right foot forward rear foot therefore forwards the gate. It's not so much that he could imitate a dog, but he gave us a reference for our lives.

He gave me something to establish an emotional relationship is something to work off used to pretending that's the job of acting pretending so I was forgetting Terry notary was dog, but there was something there. It was fun to do stranger rolling around on the floor with this guy scratches tell me physically that money involved the line in the movie were you in Booker where you are but you say something you were just temporary's role God and the soul still be here with because nations need people who people denature the word were in danger of losing the support of nature for our lives for economies for societies. Happily, it's it's a topic that's now reached the highest levels of politics and people are being talked about as though it were the pressing issue of our times are now seeing that I think were coming close to being able to really commit the resources and energy confronting the issue because it's taken from the highest level of politics. It's taken up on the streets by young people what to think. That's the generational thing right there looking at us like this is our fault waterways.

We screwed this up well but when we got to bridge the generational gap to get done in the you know they have every right to criticize us for our failure to actually act in time. This is a bottom-line issue.

Yet, this is it. This is your good Midwesterner you really talk politics or religion that's changed of late. I think it's going to start talking politics. We gotta talk about a positive way to regain the middle ground release ideological enclaves in this been purposeful to disaggregate us its commercial opportunity for coalesce groups. It's easier to service them with what they want to hear but the truth is in the middle sciences coming together purposeful capable progress is made in the middle think we can get back there. We damn well better when you return to roles.

Whether it's on so what's the challenge for you coming back to the same role.

Years later, trying not to look silly now. I'm writing around in tight pants, high boots and give you a more appropriate answer considering that I'm going to start doing Indiana Jones jubilance I'm I'm always delighted to come back to these characters they prove the reason we have the opportunity to make another is because people have enjoyed them. Gotta following the I feel obliged to make sure that our efforts are as ambitious as they were when we started the responsibility of the yeah VA you have a sense of responsibility to customers.

I think of the people I go to my movies and Morris customers than I do is fans. Fans feels kind to me. Always have, but the fact that these people support my business and I have and I'm responsible to them for the quality service for that feels better can tell us anything about the new know well, which are excited about excited about doing it. Yeah when it comes to talk about this a little bit but when it comes to the big action roles and he said that that scala should talk about you was have to get it on the something that's relatable. I'm more interested in the characters state of mind in the midst of of genetic activity so I want to be in close enough to see his fear is trial his effort, his plan I love to see little articulations of support. The behavior that stuff you have to be fairly close to which is a good reason for me to do it if I can if it's not too dangerous has wrinkles in her back there, pelvis and everything else that I am recovered. Happy playing tennis is well as ever to back writing my robotics great is the fine I'll yeah absolutely.

Is it ever work. How does it work well for school discipline skill that I invest a lot of time and energy and I want to maintain my capacity.

I love to fly love being here. Hello the experiences the third dimension were limited to dimensions get up there you see, not from 35,000 feet, but from 3000 feet.

This is spectacular, big red carpet interviews like this because it is like talking to yourself because number business how the craftwork is just different thing differently. My job is. This is different to what I'm doing right now I'm this is part of my job, but the part that gives me joy and challenges me keeps me excited about doing is not necessarily this particular part of it. I understand the utility of nine I think it's important to be able to bring people's attention to when you have a new product to release so as part of the business as part of the business. I think of the people I go to my movies and Morris customers than I do is fans. Fans feels kind to me.

Always have, but I didn't really want to become an actor so that I could be rich in faith is not why I wanted to be an accurate one because I want tell stories so I never thought I never actually thought about being successful to the extent that I have been lucky enough to be I thought I would my highest ambition was to have regular work as an actor and not have to do something else to support myself and my family that's that's that was the level of my ambition to work with good people, but I never thought that I was movie start time. I never thought that I would have the opportunities for success came along with other people, success George Lucas and Steven Spielberg brought my life is the is the thing burden it can be often be a disturbance to the progress of your thoughts here your family time can be a pain but in most cases people in our just curious or surprisingly there very generous and gracious. They just want to say thanks for the experiences that I've had here with you and that that feels good. This is intelligence matters with former acting Dir. of the CIA.
