All Brian kill me Joe. I always thought I just thought I'm going to move to New York.

I don't have much money in my pocket, but I believe in myself.

I believe that something is going to happen for me. By doing but when I look back that was going to. I believe now feeling wanting to do something with my life is because God was saying I'm going to take care and that woman that said yes in the background brilliantly broadcast is Usually Kathy Lee Gifford Griffin Griffin.

I absolutely confused with all you Really great to Griffin was Kathy Griffin was a friend of the network. In fact, she hosted our 10 year anniversary of Fox and friends change right yeah and ice ice over the first of the Washington correspondents dinner, maybe two years ago and she will normal conversation I said or has a legal besides that I want to kill him. Then she went off on Donald Trump. You want to try to kill me in a list of what you to break down. But let's get back to you. You can how do you know I haven't had a breakdown, or to my notes, you will put it on the special note of it will park the breakdown still feels like specific would say one or two different to do some really cool on my favorite app Fox nation is called the Jesus I know, it plays off her book and she was talking about but not in person. The Jesus I know, honest conversations and diverse opinions about who he is Really welcome back I say on Fox and Fran Rice morning wanting to do your radio show you I have a crush on you. You know this for a very long time.

Right to say there's your boyfriend really yeah will for this I told you my one interaction with with Frank even had a chance to meet them in person and was at the awards that Los Angeles doing all sports radio out there and sure enough met the Thorpe awards was short-lived and Joe DiMaggio was their father says a lot yeah and then and then Frank Gifford Seawright so okay I gotta get these guys and more skulls was just tell me know Joe to measure gives me gives me a few minutes and then I said I want to Frank and he gives me an interview and he says I said afterwards I said your friends are weighing in touch with you because I do the show every weekend and I'm doing this he goes yeah is my number if you give it to anybody I will break your leg.

Also I okay it's a little violent. I would not Frank, smiled after we had a stern look about and I never would.

But I want you to know it right yeah but when he had the movie star looks, his life is. I don't believe I was married for 30 years to a man so much prettier than I am. And that's not easy you know but pretty yet could start an action movie like you don't, don't you think he was like cut at a stone. He was assigned to Warner Bros. picture. No, I didn't know that yet in his career.

He was a stuntman at that and more than the Hollywood while he was off season at the accident USC would resolve athletic and and then David just delete something heat made more money just jumping under tanks and jumping over things that stunt guy and then one day he was discovered that it that the statements man-made Warren Beatty look awful. No horn disease was so dropdead gorgeous and so he signed with Warner Bros. and it and he did a movie called I forget. It was about Turnpike in New Jersey and Jack Warner sitting there in the screening room watching that the dailies or whatever. And all these women are just going crazy busy at this point always gotta be 20 snow so warm.

And it's because I'm with my guide right anyway so what do Warner sitting there watching that the screen everything he says is never going to be a movie star and and everybody does. Why is his eyes are too close together so that we discover he was the reason he was not could be a movie star is because it was the world's worst yet terrible. I think it's so underappreciated.

See you can do everything you can seeing you contact is in writing and you can host. I write MWD did you first thing was to sing right as a singer first and then an actress. Could you dance while I don't consider myself a dancer but I do have the coordination and know in our visitors that I'm I'm like I I'm an actress who can dance you never say I'm a dancer. If you're not dancer because it's it's such a such an important it so it's so difficult. I would never call myself a dancer here because I think acting so underappreciated because people so I guess some people are natural doing it, but you have to be secure enough in your personality to act like something you're not right.

It's a lot of fun actually isn't fun. I did might I haven't done a play in 20 years and since Rupert Rupert Holmes wrote one for me years ago and I did it in down in Tennessee where I live. I just didn't love letters which is been done forever with Patrick Cassidy of the Cassidy family and I just had a ball.

Had to go from a seven-year-old little girl to a woman in her 60s, which is hard for me because I'm not aware near six or seven years ago and it was great fun.

I thought you and I don't use my acting topside I made a film couple years ago that I wrote for Craig Ferguson and Mike and me and we'd shot that and in Highlands of Scotland is one of my favorite he remains on the face of the earth is my favorite agnostic in the whole world and you put to put together with him because of the hosting right of the known him since the Drew Carey show years before we first met. I just loved him and then was on maternity leave and he was there for five days with me. And I've done I very very successful. Thank you Lord of the television daily talk television with Regis for 15 years and 11 years with howdah, but I've never had more explosive five days in my life brother was at time with them with Craig with Iraq and and and it's funny.

We went to lunch afterwards he was going to get on a plane the same way whether the detail yeah because he went to lunch on Friday. What was Oliver and we can go to lunch and and he says neck I can't believe the amount okay don't you know Kathy.

We were trying to harness what we do next week for our agents are agents didn't Dickinson job on television. Daily Wheaton. I saw your rights as a movie ticket.

I said fantastic idea. Okay, he got on a plane I went to Connecticut at 2 o'clock in the morning I wake up all my gosh, I think I know the movie I go downstairs.

I like the fire that the puppies with me.

I start writing at noon that day I called him up. I got what's just a movie that we we just wrote it landed my Scottish and back down to in the home and then you were talking about. I sent six scenes.

I think I know what that the character should be about what should happen is to me and as I sent it to him called me the next day Kathy this is your baby.

I stand ready to serve well so we shot it in. We shot is in in Scotland and it was one of the great experiences of my of my whole life and name of the movie. Then came, you can still you can still watch it on your Connecticut subprime video or Hulu are those things ever die and I cowrote all the entire soundtrack with a brilliant writer in Nashville named Brett James and 77 songs and it it it just actually got me to to move to Nashville the area because I was coming back and forth working with Brett for a year and every time I get on the plane to come home. Honestly Brian I'm just like heartsick is why am I so happy here right wasn't because I didn't love the people that I work with at the today show. I do and I did hold is still a very dear friend of mine but it's the culture there. I so why am I so joyful here because New York is good is this town is been to me and I've lived for 40 years. It's the culture here has changed completely since I moved to business or walking the streets. Everything I do are wonderful people here in New York and New Jersey and and on this whole area there. There are they are.

I'm talking about it subculture Adele of chaos.

Now to me and I flew in I was going to Nashville and down south and every time.

That's a culture of kindness. They are right. People are just sweet and is not put on. I'm sure there are a lot of jerks I just have never met them just like you know there's super super good great people appear. It's the I noticed that that is the cult is a quality-of-life event. The rate of eroding and that sort of thing. So I made the move. There's a line in my movie that says as she says to into her dead husband. Just as you know Fred I love you but I got it I got a make new memories of the old ones are going to kill me.

I'm not ready to die while they said the truth I've been avoided.

Thanks been gone almost 7 years. While it is the truth and sometimes you gotta take a very brave leap go someplace. I'm sure you talk to his house back. Since you been I did. I've been together with her a couple of times which I let Dort I adore her eyesight snatches that she does have the New York and Connecticut wanted to go and she did, she did write for her family. Yep, that's like I when I left the show with Regis.

I'd I left it to do right by my family.

Regis was, you know he understood I just had to get my family off the rags and I recovered you know, it's also good is you actually told him right so you told you see that a land the plane will Regis was on my closest friends and end and we never had a harsh word in 15 years and that we became even closer friends after I left in 2000 and he died just your havoc on your spouses were tight to write yet. So when you went out it was all over and you know it's you know Regis we want with try to make plans for a nice quiet dinner the four of us or something like it Val Bell or one of those cases in in in Greenwich we walk in with a quiet little table set aside. Regis walks in right everybody ranges that the look she will leave me alone and he brought me here we go every single table. He would go to and say hello to everybody that he was so beloved.

There was nobody in the world likely to get my first big interview.

I was in college to college radio and I in the OC success leaves clues to what you want to do. I love Letterman of Regis right so I enter very ton liked each other. They were right. Yes, yes, and there also.

I think they're both very curious by nature. Humbly we tell they think obviously Regis more diverse. He could see me could do everything. I do not go that far, nothing.

So he was stand up and do a little stick that all that's what we did together for you once said to me, is not a bad singer but he can't finish a song well you I was thought he was so so interesting so engaged every everything that the first 20 minutes. Did you guys would do what is three minutes.

It is my fault incorrectly started likes six and then went to commercial break very soon, it became 23 minutes and how long would you talk before you never said when we never even said good morning. Just that which kept it really fresh so you can talk about it last night asked what you see is no to anything with notes sometimes have what we call elements and in Patty said that they been to a Broadway show the playbill ointment and always had the newspapers right and it's interesting we made a pact we started we were local show for three years and we we had both been done national stuff and.but but but he was well known for his local show in Los Angeles and so I just I joined him in New York and I left.

Good morning America. Actually, I was in line to take Joan Lundin's place and I didn't want to. I want to have fun on tour. I don't want to read up Teleprompter. I want to be with you that it wasn't that I get up that early. Anyway, it was that I will. I didn't want to read back then it was all Teleprompter and I just thought I'm an actress. I'm an entertainer and singer. I I'm not can be happy doing this, I thought I'll go for a year and I was trying was getting a divorce and in LA and I said will be a good year for me to get away.

So anyway what you what you asked me about Regis when you first read.

She was happy with him because you want to do the good and where there is a reason for it. Anyway I'm I'm looking I'm 68 so forgive me about Regis Idaho newspapers. Yes, thank you for thank you for your excellent good host.

Could you actually remember right up and out of mind for goodness don't know where another segment thing okay so we'll talk about about the 20 here Jesus I know is on Fox is you go to Québec. This is the bread and password player in writing and broadcasting*different right Gifford on password without the blood and you know he was a champion main a lot of the time he just loved Betty. Betty White good pals think that that you know you because he is gorgeous and was a football player. He was stupid, you know he was not really really bright man and will Cosell said so member Oya and ludicrous alcohol news on his deathbed the gift he did all boy they made up of the unwelcome freight was never Frank's enemy. Frank didn't have an enemy but but he was just how it was a troubled man and he was jealous. He was jealous. I never played the game well you know then don't talk about it like you know it like people that played the game complement. I know you didn't want him to Explode in the booth, let alone play-by-play how my GYN was so you know and I wonder what he was dying. We were in the car driving and Frank called him and he said he said to how are you just want you to know that Kathy and I are praying for you and an eagle. While I appreciate that I can't look at Howard and any set Frank so I didn't say which way we were praying and that he is. Didn't Frank was a beautiful man. I agree I could do a whole hour but I want to make sure you get everyone knows about your special okay so we was on Sunday right. It premiered last night and I think it just streams now no streams yes to go to Fox nation and is the Jesus I know, when you wanted if you been doing that title means something, it means that I'm not telling you how to view Jesus and I want to know what you think Jesus is. I know the Jesus that I know what I'm interested in is this Jesus that you know and.even if you don't believe in him. What is your your your preconceptions of what you do believe he was even a historical truly historical person or do you think it I find fascinating, and I've always felt like I'm not fan of religion I'm a fan of relationship with the living God. I don't believe it's that that that entity that that being that is is somebody that were supposed to go and visit once a week and now maybe pray at night and I'm here and there that's supposed to be done at the center of our life is our relationship with the living God. And so that, but that's me and I study rabbinical you and I take it very very seriously. But their 25 stories in this book are people who are completely different from me and actually them. The reason I wrote the book had no intention of writing this book very, very good literary agent here and he's it's at it. If he could not be further from that do not bend me right in terms of, you wouldn't think that at that a gay Asian Buddhist male would would be similar at all to me know and that's the problem with our world today. We want everyone to be exactly the same.

I love true diversity is the is finding people like that that you think what we have in common, and then you discover lots right a lot in common is that my is that your music that you will talk about that. Those are my favorite stories you ever write a book.

I was on with you. You are busted.

I was on with you I would know. Come on out. That is what I need.
