Baptist Bible Lord known comes to you under the direction of Elder Lucero Bradley Junior, pastor of the Cincinnati primitive Baptist Church will and Sarah Bradley Junior inviting you to stay tuned for another message of God's sovereign grace and in and and and a and B hello come after the last Sunday of our anniversary month we are celebrating the completion of 67 years on the air, giving thanks to the Lord is giving us this opportunity to bring the good news of salvation by grace to so many.

Our theme for the month is giving glory to God in all the messages on the Sunday program as well as on the daily broadcasts are connected with this thing is a theme that permeates the Bible repeatedly told about the power of God, the wisdom of God the glory of God and were called on to give him glory. Psalm 96 says give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name and furthermore, to declare his glory among the heathen, and his wonders among all people. Psalm 96 says the heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory once again reminded that the heavens display the glory of God. God is the sovereign creator of heaven and earth and weird to praise him for his great work with you now in him that emphasizes this truth in a reading passages of Scripture which talk about the greatness and glory of God is uplifting read from first Chronicles chapter 29, beginning with the ninth verse, people are giving an offering for the building of the temple and says in verse nine, the people rejoiced, for they offered willingly because with perfect heart. They offered willingly to the Lord and David the king also rejoiced with great joy I have for David blessed the Lord before all the congregation.

David said, blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel, our father, for ever and ever. Verse 11 90 Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory of the victory and the majesty all that is in heaven and in earth is the time behind is the kingdom of our Lord and thou art exalted as head of global hookups home price giving all glory to God honors.

He brings joy to the hearts of his people singing his praises.

One of the ways that we worship were instructed in Colossians chapter 3 verse 16 to saying that the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord teach and admonish each other in our songs and we need to send psalms and hymns and spiritual songs that have solid words of truth that we need to give attention to the message of the song, it's possible when singing a familiar hymn to sing it out of habit, but let your mind wander and failed to give attention to the words. Listen to the words of this great will and will and and and will and will will and in will will and the more you see the greatness and glory of God. The more your heart will be stirred to praise look again at the passage in first Chronicles 29 and begin reading the first 12 both riches and honor come of the about Ranger's overall in thine hand is power and might, and in thine hand, it is to make great and to give strength to all.

Now, therefore, our God, we thank the end praise thy glorious name but who am I and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly. After this sort are all things come of the and of thine own hand, have we given the David recognize that when they gave an offering to the Lord.

They did not enrich him, but were just returning a portion of what God given them. If we keep that in mind, we can always give. According to the principle that Paul talked the church at Corinth that God loves a cheerful giver.

David and his people felt that it was a privilege to give to the Lord and they rejoice with great joy as they gave greater our view of the glory of God in his Majesty's holiness. Greater will be our joy as we give as we worship you as we seek to serve him for his glory. In a recent message. I talked about some of the specific way sink which we can give glory to God the time that the apostles were on the mountain with Jesus says that while he yet spake the hold up bright cloud overshadowed them to hold a voice out of the cloud, which said, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.

Here he you just go to give glory to God. You're going to do what God said on this matter of transfiguration is recorded in Matthew 17 verse five.

This voice came from heaven. This is my beloved son. This was a marvelous experience as the glory of Jesus Christ was viewed beyond what they had previously been able to see and the father from heaven sent us this is my son, please with him so to glorify God. You have to believe what the father said you believe in Jesus Christ into a set of laws that he is the son of God, and he said here him. So whatever we read in Scripture that was spoken by Jesus. Whatever he commanded. We need to hear. That means not just hearing the audible sound of it because you not only to be hearers of the work, but yours also.

Here he hears his testimony.

First John chapter 5 verse 10 he that believes on the son of God hath this witness in himself either believe is not God had made him a liar because he believed not God, and the record that God gave son and this is the record that God had given to us eternal life, and this life is inertia of a person denies the testimony given concerning Jesus Christ and Jesus is the son of God and Jesus and I my father are one, so there's no mistake about those who claim that Jesus never declared that he was God gotta do is do a little reading here and you see repeatedly that Jesus is declaring himself to be God and if you deny that you're calling God a liar if you want to give glory to God you receive his testimony, three.

By submitting to his Lordship Matthew chapter 16 verse 24 then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, that is to be my follower, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. A disciple is a learner Jesus is called the master he was the teacher. The disciple was a learner.

If you are the his disciple.

If you going to send it Jesus feet if you want to learn of him with the garbage cans follower said let a man take up his cross. People talk about this is my cross to bear.this physical affliction wrapped up this burden about the situation in life. I have deal with each of the heavy burden so it's talking about the cross is a place to die.

So if you take up your cross to follow Jesus.

That means I'm dying out to self. I'm going to be like one of these back in the olden times when the man was doing. According to the dictates of his own mind going to be a submissive follower. I'm going to be surrendered to Jesus Christ dying FSF even the apostle Paul said die daily as close as he wants to the Lord. He still had his own carnal nature to deal with it on a daily basis.

I have to die.

That's something that we experience along the way as we endeavor follow and serve Jesus Christ go flexion go down easily so it's about the conflict rates but were going to be submitted to his Lordship. Paul said in Philippians chapter 1 of the 21st verse for it to me to live is Christ in you saying that you give glory to God able to say for me to live is Christ and somebody observe you listen to your conversations. See how you spend your time know what you read.

The what you look at and say yes I can see Christ in this person set of facts that they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus.

There was something about their activity. Certain about something about their countless something about the message they delivered all of coming to say we recognize these people been with Jesus there. His followers that they said of you today that can truly be said without question for me to live is Christ then goes on to say in the third chapter the 13th verse pattern. I do not count myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do.

Gary says, is the focus of my life. This is uppermost as above everything else, this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before I press toward the mark for the plans of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus where you today are you drifting you don't stand still in the Christian walk. You're either pressing on toward the mark for the part of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus you moving forward.

You're growing in grace your fighting the battle your doing the thing the dog had to do. Are you beginning to drift where you all says this one thing I do I press toward the mark moving forward. I'm not allowing myself to drift.

I recognize the greatness of my responsibility to be committed to God to be giving him glory in every aspect and in the good works that you perform Jesus in the sermon on the Mount Matthew chapter 5 verse 16. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, what's the purpose of it that you might be respected, that you might be honored.

You enter into the service of God with the idea that I want to be recognized. I will be appreciated. Glorify God. He says let your light shine that may may see your good works and not to be done in secret thing to be seen. But the purpose of it is that they make, glorify your Father which is in heaven to highlight glorify God by letting my light shine gently means your testimony.

What kind of testimony do you give by the way you live by your willingness to speak to others and be a good witness in presenting the gospel to them is like shining are you hiding under a bushel. Are you shamefully identified as a Christian you want to try to keep it a secret. Let your light shine and in doing so, you glorify God as we consider the importance of giving glory to God. We must remember that all glory goes to him for the salvation of sinners. First Corinthians chapter 1 verse 30 but of him are ye in Christ Jesus will of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption that according as it is written, he that glorious let him glory in the Lord, how is it that you are in Christ Jesus, not by good works, not by religious exercise, not my free will, but of him because of his electing grace because of his redeeming love because of this powerful call if you're in Christ you're in him by grace and he is now your righteousness and in an and in an and in our theme for this anniversary month is giving glory to God.
