This is a sure baby Junior welcome you to another broadcast of the Baptist Bible. Our were going to continue today. The message never alone. The text is Hebrews 13 verses five and six let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things as you have, for he have said I will never leave leave nor forsake you so that we may boldly say the Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. We have this message as part of the packet to CDs one. The message never alone.

Another collection of segments from various messages dealing with this thing for a donation of any amount will be glad to send it to you. Our address is the Baptist Bible.

Our box 17 old, 37, Cincinnati, OH 45217 as we continue with the message today with just read Matthew chapter 6 verse 25 to 26, where Jesus is telling us we are not to worry but to trust him to supply our needs people of Finland worry about people and say to me, well just always been a worrier and the point is, I plan to continue to be a worrier that that's what I do worry but when you're worrying that manger not trusting when you're worrying your doubting the promise of God when you're worrying you're not committing your way into his hands and saying what ever he leads and directs his good with me because I trust his promise, then not leave us in our trials, feeling alone can be very painful experience. I remember when I was a young boy I was taken to the hospital to have my appendix removed. The mother told me later that she had planned to spend the night with me in the hospital and the nurse insisted that she leave she said the study. Be alert to in the morning so there's no need for you to stay here.

You just go on home. You come back in the morning.

Well I don't know the exact time frame but not long after they left I may have still been groggy but I knew enough to know my mother wasn't there again to say where is my mother where's my mother, the nurses say when she sees she's got a come back one hour order now I want to see my mother where's my mother and this went on all over the night and it was a painful experience of feeling to be very much alone and We find these words Psalm 2710 when my father and my mother forsake me. Then the Lord will take me up that my mother had intentionally forsaken him. She just appeared that way by the nurse that didn't know fully what would transpire.

I've talked to people who felt indeed. Mother and father did forsake. It's often the case with somebody will say, well, my father was an alcoholic, mother was a drug addict and faith persistently. But here's the promise.

If mother and father. Those dear Stephen, the times of nature, should forsake you, ignore you, disappoint you is as then the Lord will take me up if not leave us in that time of old age that one might fear saying I just don't know the outcome of the know the consequences. I remember Martin Bates was a member of this church is always an encouragement to me. He attended faithfully when it was on up in his 90s's usual comment when you should attend with me going out the door while I learned something today that always encourage me to think. Here's a man in his 90s and hasn't given up on learning something he still wants to learn he took a trip driving himself to Florida when he was about 98 years old. I think he continued driving to leaders 99 and then I visited him in the nursing home, but I think he was hundred and one and getting near the end, it always been a strong stalwart individual. Remember that day when you said, but apparently I need comfort honey comfort the farmer having prayed with him said, I want to tell you about the one and give you the comfort you need, you knowing because you've trusted them for many years you've expressed her love for the gospel for Jesus Christ the Savior centers.

He's the friend that sticks closer than a brother. He will give you the comfort Isaiah 46 verse four says, and even to your old age.

I am even to horror hairs will not carry you I have made and I will bear even I will carry and will deliver you. So the promises even to old age, not only to say I will not desert you are not forsake you. When I carried you.

What promise when you're weak and fragile and you feel like you just barely get along then will carry it good to know then that the God that we worship the God who is the sovereign creator, the God who rules over all things is also describing himself as the God of comfort. Second Corinthians chapter 1 verse three Blessed be God. Even the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Love reading that whatever the company is unique, even in the source of all of these is the God of all comfort in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God comforts us to competence by the application of his word. He comforts us when we read and claim his promises. He comforts us by the presence of the Holy Spirit to pick us up and strengthen us as we go along the way and he comforts us so that we then can comfort others. By the same comfort wherewith we ourselves have been comfort were comfort never alone. Never, never, never, in encourage courage is needed when we feel forsaken and got a set of forsake you. But the psalmist described those days when there was a deep feeling that the Lord forgotten about me. If the Lord remembers me wise my circumstance so difficult wise my burden so heavy by my going through these difficulties. Psalmist said in Psalm 77 verse seven. Will the Lord cast off forever. Will he be favorable. No more than ever been there six just looks like the Lord forgotten.

I just feel like he's is his mercy clean gone forever.this promise fail for a couple more God forgotten to be gracious Chaffey and anger shut up his tender mercies see struggle.

I need courage to go on five if I feel the godforsaken may have happened.

I continue my own wood course. But what encouragement to know that he is with us even when we do not feel that he is there even though we're not sensible of his presence that still the promise remains referred to that promise that he made to Jacob.

Following that night for the Lord visited him and it says in Genesis 28 verse 16 and Jacob awaked out of his sleep and he said surely the Lord is in this place and I knew it not. So even in those dark times to your saying, where is the Lord, why has the Lord allowed this difficulty to come in life. Lord I don't understand this whole even when you're having that feeling just as Jacob said the Lord was in the place and I knew not the Lord is there.

You don't understand all that he's doing but is working all things together for your good and for the glory of his name, remember when we were sitting with the hose and talked about.

The Lord said, I lifted up Ephraim and taught him to go. It wasn't aware that he didn't recognize her.

He didn't know that I was the one picking him up. Times were not sensible that he is near at hand, but the fact is, he has not forsaken us courage is needed when were going to be going forward as we think about entering this new year. What lies ahead with little or going to have to face Mira how rough the path may be better how often were going to be traveling in the dark times of the night when Joshua was getting ready to lead the people we referred to this earlier, but it was this be strong and of good courage, fear not, don't be afraid. Why, for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with the and will not say leave nor forsake the joke what promise to encourage all of us as we look to the year ahead. Knowing that no matter what the circumstances might be. It might be a time some of the greatest blessings we've ever enjoyed. And there's a tendency when things are going well not to depend so directly on the Lord's will, but whatever it brings spiritual awakening at time of revival at time of great blessing or time of trial or difficulty.

We need not fear as we go in to the new territory of the new year and then we need courage when Satan the accuser of the brethren accuses us our own conscience accuses us our sin mounts up before us and begin to question how could God love me when such a miserable failure unless in the school point David struggled when he was convicted of his great sin. In Psalm 51 verse 11.

He says pass may not away from thy presence sense of guilt was so great he knew his sin was so anonymous that he would not of been surprised if the Lord had cast him away. Why would God not texting away. I would God be gracious to him. Why would God be merciful to him so he prays Lord Chesley not awake and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.

But now he says in verse 17 the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit broken and a contrite heart, O God, now will not, the spa, so you come before the Lord with a broken heart have had people actually save me some time alive. I don't know if I'm open enough. I don't know if I'm down deep enough. I know I'm sin greatly but maybe I'm not breathing enough to see God's promise is not based on the degree of your repentance, or even the strength of your faith. It didn't say I will never leave the if you meet the standard that standard of the other reasons I will never leave the in Psalm 103 says in the 10th verse he have not dealt with us for our sins are rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him as far as the east is from the land so far have they removed our transgressions from us. Inspected the note so you may be struggling about the fact that you see yourself to be such a great singer you wonder that he could love you are fearful that you have a dream sufficiently that you have come with a broken heart would be pleasing to God is not dealt with us according to our sin. It certainly it would be just the cast is off, it's only because of his mercy and the grace that's given us of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ that he can still be just and the justifier of him to believe in Jesus so he's removed I'm sin like as a father. His children, so the Lord.

Them that fear him, for he knows our frame. He remembered that we are dust and not he knows our weakness. He remembers not frame he forgives Darcy's Peter's failure.

Peter had mostly setting.

Lord, I will be with the no matter what others might forsake you. But not me.

He's the very one three times than not is Lord said he didn't know this man had not met his father. How Could it be that a man who'd been with Jesus for three years and been used in many capacities now is blatantly denying him she might look at that scene is that when it's all over Peter to he's proven himself to be a false professor after this public denial of Jesus certainly is not one of the forgiven Jesus without after the resurrection instruction was given. Go tell Peter.

Peter was obviously cast down and broken. Jesus makes it a point to meet with him and talk with him and inquire about his love. Obviously for caving and blessed him to preach powerfully on the day of Pentecost and to continue an effective ministry and to write a portion of the New Testament. That's amazing Grace ex-cons love never leave the note for cyclic SMI might be a little concerned parents expect you to make it sound like you could just go down the wrong path and it didn't make any difference, genuine court appointment to remember the book of Hosea is chapter 2 verse six Lord was speaking about how he would deal with his wayward people and a set output forms in your path to be with you, but the landlord to be with you is to put thorns in the past when you're on the children to become uncomfortable and repent.

Yes, he's with us he's with us, even when he chases the Lord loves he chastens every son whom he received his own facts and evidence of such. He loves you enough not to tolerate you continue going to the wrong direction.

He will chase you but his wonderful love and grace is such that even what we have sin.

There is forgiveness, courage when you do have all kinds of docs? You may count some well and I deceived my true believer. What really don't stay. Satan may sometimes instill in found in your mind and your read in the Bible say I have confidence in this book and I don't really believe that the Bible is God's book may benefit brief time that just for a moment to sit been taught all my life that there is a God is all kinds of dance can come your way. But the good news is that we have a great high priest who we can turn Hebrews chapter 4 verse 15 for we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities but was in all points tempted like as we are yet with out sin.

Let us therefore in view of this due to the fact that we have a great high priest who theorized therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy mercy which we desperately need grace to help. We need help grace to help in time of need. I will not sink when you're doubting the question how could God forsake Juan that he had chosen in whose name was placed in his book before the foundation of the world. How could God turn away from one who was redeemed by the blood of his son Jesus cries. How could God give up on one in whose heart he had begun the work blip in chapter 1 verse six says he that going to work good work and you will perform it under the name Jesus Christ. He said he will perform.

It is not going to give up is not going forsake you not going to turn away. Forsake Juan that has been drawn with the power the Holy Spirit.

Quicken made a new creature in Christ Jesus, born again and reverse all of that great experience. How could he turn from one who is been adopted into his family and turn them out, been adopted by his grace. How could he possibly turn one is now called his child. How could he ignore the everlasting covenant, break the promises so many many promises that is made, and destroy the inheritance that is reserved for you in heaven. All our God is immutable. Our God could be dependent upon his promises are reliable. Consider some of the promises.

Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10 says fear thou not I am with me. That's what talk about never alone. God says I am with the Isaiah 49 verse 15 can a woman forget her sucking child that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb. Yeah, they may forget that seems so incredible how can a woman forget her nursing child, but even if they should forget, I will not forget the whole I have grave in the upon the palms of my hands. I walls are continually before me your name on the part of God's hand for a way to express to you that you have a connection with a P not going to forget about you. And then he says Isaiah 43 verse two when Bob passes through the waters one will be with me, never alone you pass into the deep waters the cold water never alone in Psalm 23 verse four yea though I walk through the land of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, thou art with me thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

You believe his promise and probably could know the Bible is full of how then can we sit idly by and or and grieve and complain and say I feel so much alone. God says if you want of you.

You never never alone and then he speaks of contentment. Contentment no place for covetousness, no place for envy and jealousy and greed, but to be thankful for what you have content with what you have, because God's grace you have you prayed.

Give us this day our daily bread, and he gets it he provides it for you every good and perfect gift comes down from the father above, no fear, he says of what man can duty wait a minute that's that's a promise to fear what man can do to make certain things man can do to you, man can sue you taken.

You lie about two booked into jail. Take your life.

If God's prophets.

But here's something man can do.

Man cannot prevent the Lord being with you if indeed you are soon and your lot about and you are harmed and you are jail. Paul and Silas in jail singing at the midnight hour, the Lord was there they witnessed a great conversion of the chaser came to faith in Christ. But what about death. Well, think about Stephen was stoned to death.as a martyr for the cause of Christ disables the Lord with immature laws. He looked straight into heaven and saw Jesus standing up, ready to welcome about what awaited God to see Jesus before you get there. I will be with you, even in the hour of death.

Psalm 118 verse six says Lord is on my side I will not fear what man can do to be the fear man is a snare fear man can cause you to be incapacitated in the service of God influence you to the point that you failed to stand firmly for the faith once limitless things to do the things that would be to God's honor because you're afraid to be criticized afraid of what somebody might say what somebody might do it says we are not fear my two possible for man to separate us from the love of God. Romans chapter 8 verse 35 who shall separate us from the love of Christ to tribulation all sometimes in the deepest trials you can feel like a separate trial cannot separate or distracts our persecution or famine or nakedness, or peril, or sword is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long account of the sheep for the slaughter. Now here's the answer. Who can separate us may know no one, absolutely no one, no playing, no circumstance, no condition, whatever it is, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him. The plug is fine persuaded that neither death nor life, not angels or principalities, or powers of things present, things to come.

Any other creature Able to separate us from the love of God which is given us in Christ Jesus our Lord. Is that not enough just your joy in your soul and say whatever the future hold whatever may come. I am not alone and nothing can separate me from the love.

When you discourage, remember, I will never leave the when you're depressed. Remember never alone when you're fearful. Remember never alone when you're doubting never alone when you're confused, never alone when you're suffering.

Anxiety never alone when you're feeling lonely never alone when you're facing that I will be with me, never alone. I wish that everybody here could say that promise, but some of you have never come by faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and you can claim that promise.

Yet, here's another promise. Jesus says him that cometh under the no wise cast to come to him by faith and you can say never alone. You have to say it's size, grace that he probably never alone. The sentencing he is behind me and find me in on either is me. He gave me. If you would like to get this complete message on CD as part of the packet two CDs the second one is a collection of segments from various messages and fumes that we feel will be a comfort to you on this theme never alone.
