Will apply, and should Germany Junior welcoming you to another broadcast of the Baptist Bible. Our we continue the message today entitled moves for sinners. That's what the gospel message is indeed the message we bring is not one of hard conditions that you could not meet the message of the work complete through Jesus Christ. Pray the message will be a blessing to you today. If it is would like to hear from you at our address is the Baptist Bible Auerbach 17 oh 37, Cincinnati, OH 45217.

Yes, I feel unworthy. I feel that I am a sinner. Now it's for sure not sinners, not just somebody who mouths the right words to somebody who has a few minor flaws were talking about some significant sinners here with people whose life are not pure were not clean over a long time reputation were no this gospel is not honest, I may have had some of the possible. One thing about the person I'm honest and only my word is my bond, but the basis of patient is not your character.

Your superior wall conduct of the dying thief. When Jesus said today about being with me in paradise. If honesty was a requirement. This man had been dishonest. This man had taken it with him along to him. He was dying on the cross, but you can't understand the one that was next to him. The man on the cross in the middle was no thief. He was a perfect man. He was the son of God.

He was the Lord and therefore he said you remember me when you come to Jesus and be with me in paradise over self-righteousness and let me pay for your ticket. If you are really sincere. The phrase crime and Jesus is lastly I pray your eyes will be open and you'll see it because the truth is that salvation is by grace centers for sinners medicine as well as a lot of totally send for being faithful standing firm. Living up to commitments all absolutely something all of us only concerned about this gospel message is not for the faithful for Jesus disciples. His own followers know him first Peter the missing salvation were talking about, not based on your faithfulness, but on the faithfulness of God on the basis of income, ensure between the father the son and the Holy Spirit. So we see the condition of those for whom Christ died.

Nothing in this is not good, not the obedient, not the pure honor stop the fight for what he died for the ungodly. He died for sinners and then the next thing we see in the text is the love of God displayed birthday to Romans five says, but God commended his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God loved us while we were yet sinners, Christ died for sinners is also in the Ephesian passage to which we've already referred in Ephesians chapter 2. After describing the first verse that we were dead in sentence describing in verses two and three that we were walking according to our sinful nature fulfilling our own desires and less burst for them. Says but God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us what made the difference, not our action but God's love, not our merit but God's grace. What turns a point, but God but God, who is rich in mercy is not just a small amount of doesn't just dish it out with great reserve. He's reaching it for his great love a marvelous love and abundant love, and abounding love wherewith he loved us. God loved us. He made his love manifests.

He didn't just talk about it. He didn't just declare it.

He didn't just speak of his word but he revealed that he displayed, because he gave his son Romans chapter 8 verse 32 he that spared not his own son, but delivered him up for us all, how silly, not with him also freely give us all things about the love of God, God gave his son recently about the experience of Abraham when he was called of God on the mountain and offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice.

You can imagine the emotion that this man experienced thinking about giving his own son that he loved dearly. Words in the Scripture mean something that is presented to us as being the father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is described as being his only begotten son, God gave his son that is hard for us to fathom. The thing about God becoming man in the person of Jesus Christ, God giving his son giving him to go to the cross to be made for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in him something beyond our ability to perceive what it meant for this one was perfect, spotless, no sin to have our sin put upon him so that there was a separation between the son of the father and the son cries out my God my God I think of me old display of love.

God spared not his son didn't hold back, but delivered straight in the hole because it was his purpose Jesus Christ and cross to redeem his people seeing this is socially not freely give us all things all things that we have need of love of God is just plain because he loved us while we were yet sinners, because he gave his son and because it says he delivered us from rat. Now this is this is pointed. Many have not come to grips with in our thinking today is a new interpretation of what God is like right after one man recently who said that the baby boomers are not going to accept the terminology in the past. If you start talking to them about guilt and sin talking to them about punishment and wrath. They just tolerated. Although these principles may be true, you got to come up with some new innovative way to get them to accept it. That might embrace the gospel, my friends, I believe that the terms and words that are given us in Scripture were adequately and are adequate for us today and the fact is not just terminology.

The fact is that man in his own nature as he likes to develop a God, according to his own imagination does not want to think about a God of wrath by the pleasant. Think about his love and his love is wonderful and marvelous. We've already talked about that.

But God is also a God of wrath. First Thessalonians chapter 1 verse 10. Paul is speaking of what took place in the gospel was preached to these at Thessalonica saying that you turn from idols to serve the true and living God and to wait for his son from heaven, with whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Jesus Christ did not die just to make life easier for you to give you a better improved life here on this earth.

He died to deliver his people from the wrath to come. There is wrath coming. There is a day when the wrath of God will be clearly manifests chapter 5 the book of first Thessalonians says in verse eight, but let us who are of the day be so were putting on the breastplate of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation for God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. You see, wrath and salvation are put here is to contrast God is not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation, but there are those who will face suffer the wrath of God.

Second Thessalonians chapter 1 verse seven and you are troubled rest with us. When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power, when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe because our testimony among you was believed in that day.

Can you imagine the horror of such a day due to the fact that you have a sinful nature possible that at some point in your life you could commit a crime, but as you look back upon it you would shake your head in disbelief and said I can't believe that was me. I can't believe I did that. How could it happen and now you stand in a court of law and you hear the judge say guilty and pronounce the sentence. Can you imagine the terrible sinking feeling when you found out I'm going to jail. Never in your wildest imagination did you ever think that in your life you have to go to jail.

LX terrible scene invasion is not, but think of something far worse think that notable day when the Lord comes back comes in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God is coming back to me admired it all in the believe, but he's coming back with the wicked. Can you imagine anything more horrible than understand I'm not just appearing in a court of law. I'm not just hearing a local judge say guilty. I'm hearing the declare you are the recipient of my wrath because you are a sinner rental ungodly violator of model Revelation chapter 6 verse 16 said to the mountains and rocks, fall on us and hide us from the face of him to sit upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb August have always thought about the Lamb slain for sinners. The whole fault. The beauty of Jesus Christ being the fulfillment of all the types of all the Lamb slain, but here speaks of the wrath of the Lamb for the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stay to see the love of God is displayed in that he delivered his people from the wrath to come to God for the ungodly. If you are a sinner saved by grace.

This is good news to you because he says much more than being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from right through him save from rat of the third thing we see in this text is the person and work upon which the salvation rest. Notice the emphasis upon Christ. When we were without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. In due time at the appointed time. This was something that God had arranged God had purpose and decreed from before the foundation of the world. It was going to come to pass at the exact time God had designated back.

Isaiah 53, the 11th verse says he shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many, for he shall bear their iniquities. Jesus Christ will be satisfied not undertaking the work that he could not finish but gloriously successful. Fighting a battle winning the victory is fine because he will secure all of those that were given to him of the father the company to brace was coming all the types all the shadows.

All of the property references the Old Testament pointing to the coming, the son of God, all fulfilled tell us that Jesus Christ was coming to do the work.

Chapter 1 verse 21 says, and she called his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.

That's why was coming, angels came singing glory to God in the house on earth peace, goodwill toward land the time at column Galatians chapter 4 verses four and five says this but when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth his son, made of a woman might all purpose to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons when the fullness of time was come. There were times that they attempted to take Jesus, but he said repeatedly.

My hour is not yet come. Our team at the exact moment Jesus gave himself willingly when they came to take him away. He laid down his life willingly upon the cross. You deserve it. There was the center of the ungodly, so you deserved the right of God, Jesus Christ, in the place of sinners was the substitute. God was upon him, because he suffered a away became the appointed time at the right time. See our salvation is all in Christ. Salvation is not a reward for the good got a reward for good conduct many people's do the best I can do me one time I take my chances will come to you about something better than chance this morning on to about something that sure I'm telling about the salvation that's in the person of Jesus Christ and therefore all saved by him but enjoy heaven forever. Second Timothy chapter 1 verse nine said that he is saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, does not according to our works is not a reward is given to those who are good.

It's a gift of free grace is not Reformation's regeneration is okay I see come short I've got some things in my past that I'm saying something my life to be straightened out over the link that will make it better know it's not Reformation you giving your heart to the Lord is the Lord by his grace giving you a new heart when you're born again you might a new creature in Christ Jesus, talk to repentance, so I suppose it is not in order that men repayment should not make absolutely. The apostle Paul preached Marcio that God commands all men everywhere to repentance is not the basis of your salvation.

Titus chapter 3 verse four says, but after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost you save us according to his mercy. Partners must have known the people who have struggled for years trying to determine if they had adequately repented. It was evident they were looking to price they were looking to the quality of their repentance is still working at. I'm not sure I have adequately agreed. I'm not sure that I pretended like I should repented.

Yes, God grants repentance and evidence of his grace is that your brought conviction of your sin. You're no longer trying to defend yourself, excuse yourself, make an argument that God will do something for you because you're worthy knowing full repentance, you take God's out of the question.

You say like the hymn writer about my soul should send a Hale-Bopp like this all proves way to catch me off after supper is wrath forever with no opposition and could not raise any single complaint that what I deserve.

In true repentance, you acknowledge then that God should cast you off into repented you admit I have no righteousness of my own true repentance you turn to serve the true and living God, but the basis of your salvation is not to repentance price.

The basis of your salvation is not your tears. I did have an experience some years ago, I was deeply moved. I wept uncontrollably, but you're not lost by your tears, your wash with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Peter talks about the precious blood of Christ is precious because it's a break behind his back is that our sins are washed clean by the blood of the Lamb. Some others as well. What about my faith should not believe absolutely Paul and Silas jailer believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and I gently say you want to believe, but how to get salvation is not based on your believing is not based on your faith itself is the gift of God, but Hebrews chapter 9 verse 26 says for man must often have suffered since the foundation of the world. But now once in the end of the world appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice himself. He puts it away by his old sacrifice verse 28 says so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many of them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin onto South nation. Somebody else constantly examining looking at their own evidences you care question are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God. Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. You certain you examining your try to determine the amount adequately for my morning like out more about hungering and thirsting, I felt the first one. It's a great source of encouragement when we can see some evidence of God's work in our life. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering when we can see that there is love when we can see that God is given us peace when we see that there's weakness of spirit we take courage in that but I wanted to get your salvation is not in your evidences in Christ. You could miss reading your case sometimes are those that are much too hard on themselves. They they in spite of the fact that others may see clear evidence in the make and never see it no doubt that there are times that we tend to be too easy on ourselves which we try to make all kinds of excuses Barone falls and falls yes when God does work of grace is not to be some evidence of it. But salvation is not in the evidence. Salvation is in Christ and then the writer says seeing what he's done for spies now we want to be saved by his life, isn't that wonderful ball. They says considering what all Christ is done for the sacrificial death of the cross. Now that he is alive look at the further blessings and deliverances of yours back to Romans eight verse 34 who is he that condemns it is Christ that died gay, rather, that is risen again and so is now alive business on this one happen out of the life of Christ, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Seeing then what he is done for you back his death. Now, be encouraged.

According to the 10th verse of the fifth chapter 4 when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his son. You are an enemy opposed to God what you were reconciled by staff, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life back is your reconciled back his life, life, and that the brain did not holding. He came out of the gravy seated on the right hand of myself for what purpose he Leo to make intercession for us old, and the blessings that are yours because he lives by asking the question, do you see yourself as a center. The gospel message is good news to you.

If you do you find hope and comfort encouraged by C came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. As long as someone is offended as long as someone objects to the idea was I just don't like that terminology.

I can't see myself as a rare time. The were on the right center not going to be comfortable discussing.

If you see yourself as a center Lord, I know that in myself.

I have nothing. I have no righteousness to plead I have no worth. I have no merit ruling done for lost forever without the grace this gospel is for you to hold me, not a physician but they that are sick. He died for the ungodly. You believe that you believe on him. John 524 says, verily, verily I say unto you, he that here is my word, and believe upon him that sent me hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death on the line, one that believes is already passed from death on the life you believer in the son of God today. The arrest alone and him because you see the left to yourself. There would be no hope none. Whatever the gospel is good news for sinners, Christ died for the ungodly.

Today we brought you the concluding part of the message entitled good news for sinners if you'd like to get the complete message on CD requested when writing this at the Baptist Bible.
