Will the fire, additional share, brightly Junior welcoming you to another broadcast of the Baptist Bible will continue with our message today lights in a dark world. Certainly the world in which were living is indeed dark and there are many portions of Scripture that talk about the darkness and the blindness of those who do not see the Almighty God is the sovereign ruler of heaven and earth in Jesus Christ is the Savior of sinners, but God's people are to shine as lights in that time of darkness.

I pray to today's message will be a blessing to the account of the children of Israel singing a song and praise to God because of their deliverance at the rinsing verse nine, the enemy said, I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the spoils my Leslie satisfied upon them. I will draw my sword, my hands are starting to notice the personal pronoun. I every time and exalts himself. This is what I'm this is my plan. This is my purpose. This is for me. God has a way of bringing down the mighty from their seats about its blow with that window seat covered lambasting Aslan in the mighty waters. Now the people rejoicing there praising God for what is happening.

Understandably so, who is like the Lord among the gods, who, like the glorious wonders that stretches out my right hand the earth swallow them now and that mercy has led forth the people, which thou hast redeemed thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation care, people singing such a triumphant song.

There was great rejoicing. Getting all glory to God. This might deliverance you say my those people before God for many days to come is going to be an experience that will not soon forget.

They're going to come before God continued with grateful hearts will in the days of their slavery God respect to the company with her father sent Moses to deliver them from their bondage and slavery years are fearful on the face the Red Sea here.

The chariot wheels as they rumbled down the room behind Pharaoh's post is coming in hot pursuit part slaughters safely reason to be afraid to see to trust God no matter what the letter will verse 21 says and Miriam answered them, saying, need to the Lord for he hath triumphed gloriously the horse and his rider had been thrown into the sea. So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea and they went out into the wilderness of shore and they went three days in the wilderness and found the water. Yet this talk about what happened three days later. This is three months or three years where the memory of this event might fade somewhat in the background. This is three days later and they came to America they could not drink the waters of Mayor, for they were bitter. Therefore, the name of it was called Mira and the people murmured against Moses, saying, what shall we drink these the same people who were praising God for his deliverance of the mighty Victor to Red Sea because they come to the place of the waters are bitter.

There saying, what shall we drink murmured against Moses and he cried to the Lord of the Lord showed him a tree with 28 casting the waters, the waters remain sweet there made for them a statute and an ordinance in therapy. Prove them and said if I would diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God I will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes. I will put none of these diseases upon the which I have brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord that even the and they came to even where there were 12 wells of water and threescore and 10 palm trees and they in camp there by the waters here are people who have seen the mighty hand of God stretched out in their behalf, making a path in the sea would be a problem for God like that to provide water when you're thirsty obviously not. But when they come to the waters of Maryland and they are bitter. They murmur and they complain God was merciful to them. I provided a way to rip the situation they cast a tree looking sweet. Just as the trees of the cross being cast into the bitterness of our sufferings here can make them sweet close in the sufferings we experience with Christ. There is a blessing to be found, God gave them the waters they needed and then he refreshed them shortly thereafter when they came to see mom where there were 12 wells of water and palm trees, a place of quietness, a place of rest and tranquility. Isn't that so often the case in early experience, we come to the bitter waters of trial and sorrow. We may be in distress at the moment.

We wonder things ever be better, but shortly thereafter, the Lord brings us to that little oasis in the desert brings us to a place where we can drink of the wells of salvation and be shaded, the palm trees of his love and mercy. God is so good and gracious.

Think about it today. How many times have you murmured or doubted or feared or complained and in spite of your failure and sin. God took care of you anyway.

You were thirsty.

But God gave you something to drink. You had a great name but God supplied and then you think about those little experiences of the Pumphrey's. When God refreshed your soul and you're able to drink strong waters from the deep well of salvation hasn't been good and gracious to you. Is it not humbling to think that in spite of your rebellion, your lack of gratitude your fear, your lack of trust that God was still merciful to you is that not enough to bring you to the point to walk humbly before God every day of your life. Every step that you test this book of Exodus chapter 16 verse one says they took their journey from Elam and all the congregation of the children of Israel came onto the wilderness of sin and which is between Elam & AI on the 15th day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt and the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness, and they are again will surely now I have learned that when there is a great need, providing it, God ladies bitter water sweetie can take care of them. Whatever the situation, but there murmuring again of the charm of theirs wrote said under them want to God, we had not been the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt. When we set the flesh pots and when we did eat brand to the pool.

You have brought us forth into the wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger when they were bondage roles in their class. He had respect to the company's mighty hand delivered freeman man but they complain all why here say they really are blaming it all on God, God is your fault been better if you want to kill us just to make this trip.

This is a serious issue friends. This is the reason this sin is not one of insignificance that you can shove aside and say well okay I do tend to be little negative sometimes complain or know this is a big issue because ultimately when you're murmuring and complaining, you're really complaining against God, you're really saying God is unfair to have let these events touch my life. God should've exalted me to a Higher Pl., God to give me an easier road to travel.

God should've prevented sorrow and loss and heart ache from touching me complaints ultimately against God, they were complaining against Moses.

Moses got the brunt of it because they can see him, but God was the one they were really charging murmuring verse eight and Moses said this shall be when the Lord shall give you in the evening flesh to eat and in the morning bread to the full for the Lord here at your murmurings what you murmured against him and what are we your murmurings are not against us, but against the Lord God is heard you. But in spite of your murmurings you want to feed you easily.

Humanity but your murmurings against the Lord and makes it a serious matter.

Sometimes people may complain against the messenger of the Lord when he delivers God's message but the real issue is don't like the message Jeremiah was put in the pit they despise this profit Was there delivering God's message that in like him, but the reasoning like it was because he didn't like the message God sent these people were murmuring, but they were murmuring against the Lord.

Chapter 17 verse two wherefore the people to chat with Moses and said give us water, that we may drink and Moses sent them watch hi. He with me. Wherefore do you tip the Lord and the people first and therefore water and the people murmured against Moses because the water was better now there murmuring because of water and Moses said wherefore is this that thou this is what they are saying, rather murmured against Moses, and said wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst and Moses cried to the Lord, saying, what shall I do under this people may be almost ready to stone me how quickly people confirm here's Moses. This special servant of God. God providentially spared his life as an infant when Pharaoh had demanded the death of all the male Israelite children, God protected him what his mother had put them in that little car down the river sustained him all those days in Pharaoh's house and the courage to say that I will suffer affliction with the people of God rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season frame him and told him on the side of the desert until he was now ready to go, rather than the people respecting rather than giving thanks that this was God's servant in God's place, doing God's work just as you face self-centered right. We have to be thirsty for a few minutes or a few hours the prevails and are my rights have to be inconvenienced. I should have to suffer any pain I could not have any problems.

Something about me and important I want what I want and if I don't get it I will make people wish that you go to the murmur of the complaining man. What I want to be wrong dangerous ground.

If we begin to think that way and that way before Almighty God. Now God doesn't give out all his judgments on the day of the offense paydays sometimes is delayed, but it will arrive and for the wicked. If there's never any consequence of their action here.

It's coming in eternity. It will come. The limit of the book of numbers we think surely now these people had been sustained in the weather this God brought water out of the rock, had rain down bread from heaven had provided every need. Learn the lesson when they come to the land. The land which they can turn it all these years. I surely will be ready without any hesitation to generate.

But they simply inspires over into the land of spies they come back. All are in agreement on land with seeming thing like a bunch of grapes that was so large it took two men to carry high gas is one of the land but their giants over their cities along the sky.

We can't take it. The same people about the deliverance of God. Many of them had been a part of that been living at the time as they came across the range. They cannot deliver them.

They had seen manna rain water for 40 years went by so much evidence I'd never doubt Just believe, you might just do whatever is. But these 10 negative thinkers come back and do it. Giants over there, we'd endanger the lives of our wives and children that make any sense.

Not logical, not reasonable. That's not good only to say let's go up at once and take it because God has given the land and Arnie and Joshua and Caleb says we can go because the same God that is delivers in the past will delivers the present numbers chapter 14 verse one says in all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried and the people wept that night and all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron get the impression that they deserve much of complain and bunch of people God had all nations of the earth, and they constantly complain global and sometimes it seems that those will been so especially favored and blasts become some of the worst groomers supposed with you on the basis of what you deserve. The psalmist says he rejoiced in the fact that the Lord had not dealt with him according to his iniquities with you on the basis of your thoughts or feelings or seams, where would you be today.

The fact that you're alive that you are reasonably healthy to be here is the mercy of God blessing for what you should be thankful if you find yourself covering rumbling complaining spirit.

You know you are just pleasing your God is in the last time he will the basis he will put us down. People were murmuring again against Moses and Aaron and the whole congregation said to them what God that we had not in the land of Egypt.

Same old song. Four years later, the problem would not getting another say that again or what God's will that we are in place that she should not going in the land and wherefore the Lord brought us unto this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be prey, were it not better for us to return into Egypt.

Now they sent their judgment against the judgment of God.

What God had delivered the Lord God had sustained it would not have brought them on this journey. If it were not according to his pleasure in accord with his sovereign divine purpose, who they think they are to stand up and say it would've been better if God had operated differently.

I think God got you killed us in Egypt. What is not to lose money someplace in the broadest of this place.

I don't think that's fair. That's right. I don't like the way God operates.

That's basically what people are saying when they become constant wranglers don't like the way this happens all the in charges and make plans and arrange things and decide how eventual to touch my life and make it one of the people added attitude toward me. I think I will be in charge will tell you you not you not only serve the people of that year, Pharaoh tried to be in charge.

God put him down so this is my kingdom of my power for my glory that will result for the grass like man exalts himself failing to respect and honor the most holy God. God will deal with somebody told me about seeing the bank recently man was an atheist and he was chatting with God saying repeatedly pierced from. There is no God was invite me right now, strike me down. I'm healthy and alive and well, there's no God blessing it do something about it. We cannot stop me right up to do what he got by with it that day.

That doesn't mean there is a God that just means that God is merciful and probably a whole lot more merciful than you would be if you are in the position and somebody was speaking against you in such a fashion. You might not be quite so merciful God is merciful old to learn from these lessons.

Verse 10 says that all the congregation vein stone stones in the door. The Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation for all the children of Israel people saying leaders that such stones installed on the last of this place. Should we have to go into a place of danger. When we look at the terrible attitude and spirit that this will manifest among these people. I would not look on with the holy spirit as though I'm superior to that I could never have sunk to such depths, but maybe look at it in the spirit of self-examination say Lord.

Maybe I have never verbally spoken as they did. I have never been quite so blatant, but I know the seed of that kind of attitude is in me, and indeed there have been complaints and murmurings and I asked for the forgiveness to all things without murmuring without grumbling you today to maintain the idea that what you have heard or preached from time to time is just not suited your taste. You heard that God is a holy God in the man's perfection and you don't have perfection to offer and that consequently there is judgment awaiting the guilty and that sinners will be banished from his presence and suffer his wrath forever. You just can't tolerate that. On the other than the God that I envision the God that I believe it is a God of love that would never punish anybody. I pray that today. Your spirit will be broken up by the today you will be humbled, will be brought to admit I can ladle claims on God's I made aware of his holiness to see that God demands perfection rightly so we thought it would be holy.

He doesn't tolerate seating as an excuse saying he doesn't overlook it. Thank God there is a remedy for it and that's the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ who came to die for sinners and that person was broken and comes tumbling to the foot of the cross and says I am deserving of nothing, even as the thief was next to the Savior said not be merciful to this place.

You might have nothing to offer you like your taste in his hand to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ is evidence in which one appears like today if you been a complainer to murmur against God and his word in the past this might be the day that you bow in humble submission by faith, trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Master.
