And so if you can help us with the support of this program just a gift of any amount will be glad to send you this packet of two CDs requested that the title never alone. Our address is the Baptist Bible. Our box 17 oh 37, Cincinnati, OH 45217. Have you ever been at your wits in biblical expression to describe where we are.

When our plans and failed our efforts to fix things of been in vain and we don't know what to do next. So we feel a desperate need of God's help storms of spiritual struggle, doubts and fears can be difficult for us. Psalm 107 verse 23 describes it, they that go down to the sea in ships that do business in great waters. Please see the works of the Lord and his wonders underneath 40 commandments and raises the stormy wind which lifted up the waves. Ira they mount up to the heaven they go down again to the next. Their soul is mounted because of trouble. Never felt to be in condition here describe you were on the sea, being tossed about by the angry way had many questions many difficult is doubts that were besetting. They reel to and fro and stagger like a drunken man and there at their wits end. There that people use that very expression sometimes with top that was just in your pajamas which you can get there when you're in the storms of life. Then they cry under the Lord in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses. He maketh a star column so that the waves thereof are still thin are they glad because they be quiet so he bring with them into their desired haven spiritual struggles we have an anchor and anchor within the veil. What about those terrible trial center so difficult understand of the first question that comes to somebody's mind why why why this why there understand what you allow this event to touch my life within you go to Romans 828 for we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them for the called according to his purpose may not understand it may never understand it in this life have God's promise is working all things together for good to them that love and are the called according to his purpose will be be in and in the and and he and and you and you and the Scriptures describe not only the courage of the heroes of faith but also their weaknesses. Elijah called on the Lord to rain down fire and burned up the sacrifice when he withstood the profits of Belo mount caramel.

It was a day of victory, but when Jezebel threatened to kill him. He ran for his life. Yet even when he was down and out under the juniper tree.

He was not alone. How clear it was that God had intervened. God had heard the prophets prayer and then he prayed for rain now that the time of famine is to it. He prays that God will send right at God's right that kind of experience. I don't think I would ever doubt but here, Elijah, who had such an experience now is gripped by fear. Jezebel says he's getting out of town in a hurry like to hear what Jezebel said what we can't possibly is on my side just sit here know I'm safe. He goes out of town full speed ahead full of fear that your reading your experience in this during times that you trusted the Lord by faith just knew that all was well with your soul. You sang that wonderful camp, though it is well with my soul.

You could send that Lord the storms of life are raging around all kinds of problems, but difficult to use with. I'm trusting you. Maybe enjoy singing that him in church on Sunday morning and into the middle of the week, some unexpected trouble comes and you're falling apart with fear.

The promises of God forgotten to trust. Isaiah chapter 35 verse four say to them that are of a fearful heart. Be strong, fear not the hold your God will come with vengeance. Even God with recompense will come and say what a promise.

Whatever the fear might be what the trouble is, no matter how severe this and I don't I don't see a way out. I don't see a solution. If God says I will come and save them. There's no reason to fear. Elijah was running for his life show you how confused it was when he came and laid down under a juniper tree. Then he prayed. Indeed, somebody is mixed up when it running in Iran, a distance of about 17 miles and then gets to this most cleaned out under all Lord, take my life would get the dark to get your eyes off the Lord when you're listening to those things that bring about fear and distress. You can be terribly confused terribly confused.

One minute you're praying for the Lord to deliver the next minute you say "what's the use. I don't even know why life is so rough, so many challenges out there, I got I don't know why you just don't think we'll Elijah was a man of great faith and it was mightily used of God on Mount caramel enjoyed a tremendous victory. The people had to say the Lord he is God, but he was a man of like passions such as we he was just a man, and therefore, when Queen Jezebel sends by this time the market began a run for his life, but you don't like many of the things that we worry about anyone is worried about Jezebel killing Elijah, he went to heaven in a chariot of fire, and the few things in your life you worried about you.

The worry was a sin and you just dug her heels in and so I'm just an old time worrier from long ago, and that's me. I just worry you excused it and what you worried about never so Elijah was worried and killed the fact was he never died, but Jezebel fell out the window and the dog caught by his providence intervened blessed and sustained his servant.

Let us not forget the great things that God has done for us. Elijah forgot about it momentarily.

Don't forget it done great things for us where we are planted in the sound of you in mind, I and and and and all and I all the and on the you will will will and you will you and I you a will and and you and you he and and great comfort is found in Jesus words as recorded in John 14 and the message and title link not your heart be troubled, said Jesus is here comforting his disciples about this is the night before his death that it said earlier that Jesus was troubled but rather Jesus thinking totally about himself what he was facing. Knowing something of the death that he would soon die on the cross. He's thinking about his disciples, he loved them to the end. He knows that there confused. He knows that they're hurting is vitally interested in them to be a great comfort to you to know that in those dark moments when you may feel that Medicare is what he understands and that your for second that Jesus promised never to leave you nor forsake so just as you believe in God believe in me says in this is affirming his dignity if he was just another man if he was just a great teacher for just a good example. This is been told how to place ribbon blasphemer REMIC to say, believe in me just like you believe in God because he is the God man you believe in God believe also in me.

They had reason to trust they had seen them change the water into wine and experience that deliverance when they were on the ship at sea, being tossed about. They would look down Jesus comes in the ship please stand in the wind ceases to blow great calm and they come safely to the shore seen feed 5000+ the women and children out of the loaves and fishes seen him give site Amanda was born think nothing that I believe it is every reason to believe so is saying if you believe in God believe also in me. In other words, you can trust me. In these difficult circumstances. Peter seem to suggest that the Lord just didn't quite know what he was doing to say I'm going away that this is not what should be happening that heat must not be going away but Jesus said, trust me. In these difficult circumstances me being me as need be. He is easy. See the he be Jesus answered the question will a man live again. Job chapter 14, the 14th verse, the question is asked if a man die, shall he live again with a really be a resurrection of the body of the past years I preached a lot of things I preached at funerals and babies of children, teenagers and young adults. Soldiers will people, even families minute time I've stood the side of the grave ran from first Corinthians chapter 15, that though the body is sown in weakness it's raised in power so this honor. It's raised in glory. But one day I was walking back to my car after reading that text in the thought crossed my mind. What if it's not real. I've been taught that from earliest childhood I've been reading that Scripture it's a comfort to believe it. But what if it's not real what is it means that all these bodies are seen Lord into the earth just gone back to dust and that's the end we may have our momentary doubts.

But Jesus deals with adhere and gives us assurance the words out of Jesus all mouth. If it were not so, I would have told you. I haven't just laid you along. I haven't just nurture you so that you felt good about the situation.

I'm telling you the truth. Jesus Christ is the truth personified out of the mouth of Jesus.

He said yes there is life after death. Yes, there is a resurrection. Yes, you want to be with me someday place for you place prepared by the Lord, especially for you he is will will will and in will you will you will will and you will you and will and you you and you in heaven. All praise shortly. Honestly not redeemed us to God our precious blood all over he goes because he chose his people. He redeemed them. He called them and they take no credit you were dead in sin, but he gave you life you were blind, but open your eyes you will feel think he wants to do a loss in the going to be reason for saying give him all the glory and the primes provided much came to him indeed you did but you came because he is pitted but you repent because it granted repentance is the faith, all praise and glory goes to his essay he loved me. He died for me. He paid the price of redemption price.

Think of it.

Jesus said where I am, there ye may be also.

What a day that will be at home with the Lord never alone.
