Someday my message wasn't titled victory declared since we heard so much bad news in recent times because the coronavirus want to drink some good news.

They just could not imagine the this would occur they possibly do without him since they had enjoyed such close fellowship and communion with him for the three years of his earthly ministry, but he says I'm going away to prepare a place for good news is I will come again and receive them to myself because where I am there. That's a wonderful truth is not to know that this has the message was delivered to the disciples and that day is applicable to God's people today know we as unworthy, undeserving sinners will someday be with you. Be with him where he is. This is his purpose is designed his desire that those whom he has purchased, redeemed with the with him for ever and then asked chapter 1 verse 11 when Jesus after he had come forth from the grave and 40 days later now is ascending back to heaven. The angel says the same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. So even as she departs, ascending up to the clouds going back to heaven. There's the promise of the angel that this same Jesus that you've seen a sand will come back and we look at the book of first Thessalonians chapter 4 very familiar passage that gives such comfort to God's people as loved ones have departed to be with the Lord. First Thessalonians 416 says for the Lord himself. So the sand from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God of the dead shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord and wherefore comfort one another with these words. What a comfort to that time that we will be forever with him.

Titus chapter 2 verse 13.

Looking here's the word again, looking expecting eagerly waiting, looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ and that of the last book of the Bible, Revelation chapter 1 verse seven, the hold he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him out. Surely it would say you believe the Bible so you believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The emphasis is given just in the few verses that we ran really do not allow for some I disable.

I believe the Bible I just don't believe the second coming of Christ that Peter writes and speaks of the fact that there would be scoffers in the last day that would come along saying, where is the sign of his coming. Our father is in heaven. Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew chapter 6 verse nine power father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy such endearing terms that we call the sons of God that were told to pray our father. This is a close intimate relationship.

This is not a God who is aloof one with whom we are unable to communicate. One that we know little about God is with the so much about himself and his father. Not only is our father in heaven are worth is from heaven.

Can you imagine you feel poor, unworthy and insignificant, but as a child of God. Your name is written in heaven. Your land is heaven. John 1836, Jesus says, my kingdom is not of this world, so the kingdom to which you belong, your citizenship, the place where your name is registered is in heaven. And Jesus says, my kingdom is not of this world. Now, if you begin to focus on the kingdom of this world you forgotten your position as a citizen in the heavenly kingdom first Peter chapter 2 verse 11 says Jenna beloved habits seek US strangers and pilgrims abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul.

When you come to understand. I don't really belong here. My citizenship is in heaven. Then you can understand that he speaking to you as a pilgrim stranger and I beseech you to the beloved. He says that you abstain from fleshly lust war against her so they hamper you they hinder you they mar your communion and fellowship with the Lord in Colossians chapter 3 verse one Paul writes if he then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above why that's the kingdom to which you belong. That's where your citizenship is where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on earth now so I might as well have like to think about that. I like to think about heaven. Yes, I had to go. The Lord called me today of the Lord comes back.

That would be wonderful in the deed but it's also possible to drift into a line of thinking where you're shirking some of your present responsibilities. They are governed from heaven in that prayer that Jesus cited in Matthew chapter 6 verse 10 pray, thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. We recognize the Lordship of Jesus Christ we recognize the heavenly kingdom.

Lord, thy will be to be done on earth done in me is another vessel, as it is in heaven is his will that in heaven is done perfectly. Completely. It's executed every detail there is no discrepancy in it. There's no with Megan against so our prayer is Lord. May thy will be done in me and in earth. None can effectively condemn elect of God, they will have opposition, they will have persecution, but none can effectively condemn them. Yes, your prayers are heard in heaven. For the more your inheritance is in heaven. First Peter chapter 1 verse three says we have an inheritance which is incorruptible and undefiled, and that faith is not a way so the inheritance is secure. It's it's there.

It's undefiled is not to be corrupted but furthermore it's reserved in heaven for you to have the inheritance that you have in heaven is not going to be playing by somebody else.

It's reserved for you who are The power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed at the last time so the inheritance is secure and you are being The power of God so that you will arrive on time on schedule with the desire to receive your inheritance now. All of these things were citing should impress upon your mind. Why you have every reason to be interested in heaven and in the darkest of times and days with the difficulties of life.

Maybe waiting us down with the jewel to anticipate that something will be in the presence of the receive inheritance that is reserved for us in heaven.
