After Hours with Amy Lawrence PODCAST: Hour 3

The work we greedy all downhill from here to anything here that we reach the midway point when I was walking the hallways earlier going from one studio to another. I thought to myself.

We made it to the third show the work week already that we been a bit of a blur. There's been a lot of stuff going on. In fact, this is just one way that I can I can illustrate how how many things I'm juggling right now and a lot of people are.

I got on the bike on Monday afternoon and for a solid 50 as in 50 minutes of my bike. I did nothing but enter text messages when you try to take off a few days and cut up your phone down and and disengage a little bit and I did that because my family was visiting for 36 hours and then I went on this rafting excursion on the Delaware River on Saturday and I did not have my phone I left it in the car.

It was on airplane mode and it was fantastic except come Sunday, Monday, somebody has to pay the piper.

And so I spent 50 minutes answering text messages.

One day I am just a mad dash through Monday manic Monday and then Tuesday. Thankfully I slept little bit at the time to catch up now here we are. Third show the work week.

We called the home show because once we get through its we are closer to the weekend than we were before.

It's been over a year of us working together we just mark a year and this is one of those nights where not much is going well and yet the show you tell me everything will time I frustrated annoyed disturbed, freaking out about things not going the way they're supposed to usually see equipment you tell me the show sounds fine, which I hate the word fine, but the show does good tonight. So it does matter what the issues are behind-the-scenes and we have not allowed it to affect why would Satan never but usually it's me who is being all emotional. And so you end up having to eat the taco with a spoon or a fork or the insides of the innards of your taco you have never never really understood the point of having crunchy tacos because it doesn't hold together so you might as will this put on the plate then wants no crunchy to be Tostitos chips with my taco. Sometimes I'll do that I'll put a plate of Tostitos chips or put some chips with my taco meeting.

Meeting needs and the toppings and then I'll just scoop it just wants to know what I think you answered this used before trip I use ground turkey most of the time I I've rarely used chicken I don't cook chicken at my house, mostly because of the salmonella poisoning. I had after one of my trips to Ecuador. Now I don't generally like to look at raw chicken. He chicken only dowel or when someone else puts it, but I'm not real good at looking at a Raleigh just did it reminds me of what happened.

Modell is no joke. 10 days and days. That was awful. I dropped 7 pounds in three days is crazy down what leads us. Anyone know what is your favorite dinner that you do make it all chilly. I love chilly pancakes lately thinking I have this amazing makes its Kodiak pancake bank is actually called flapjack cinnamon oat and with pure New Hampshire maple syrup.

It's delightful. So yes I am a big believer in breakfast at dinner time and our schedules are upside down, so who cares really ISO after go running a lot of times I make pancakes are so good, or chilly and I was just thinking actually that I haven't been chilly in over a month.

I probably because of the 60s been too hot even for me chilly so love chilly, think what else I love any kind of pasta is delicious. I year to be so annoyed. And just like you grows. Amy at me I would your friends house on Monday for dinner and she made pasta but guess what the pasta was had an answer and so on Italian zucchini like this we know not veggie quinoa and brown rice pasta and I honestly if she had told me I would to be able to taste the difference.

I only would've meant was that you, the pasta was cooked a little softer because I usually make my pasta al dente so it's a little crunchy but it it holds together letters to Ariel firmer. It's a little firmer bite to it. But this was pretty soft.

It wasn't falling apart but it was good to slide it with meat sauce. When she told me. So I've now tried quinoa pasta but I dare not tell my family because they don't even like that I eat whole wheat pasta they would get mad at me. My brother just pokes fun at me because I try to eat different versions of pasta he will literally go on strike if I try to feed him whole-wheat pasta get so mad I might defend him on that one and I know most good Italians do, but I worry about gaining a lot of weight so you know, cut corners where I can know Nancy wants to know because you know you also were breaking over the weekend corrected mobile apricot bars and some tremendous I use. Oh yes, with those words yesterday couple leftovers those word to take to the house that I went to dinner on Monday with the overlapping bars are because I keep asking my neighbors for favors with penny it's been a rough summer she had to stick to the schedule with the with the shots with the insulin shock. I can't. It's different when it was just her food or just a walk. I could finagle the times, but with her insulin shot. She's not real flexible and when I don't get them on time.

I can deftly tell a difference and so I it's been so hard to like do anything now with her being on the schedule anyway so I have to bribe my neighbors would be good. They do love might be good for me. Keep they tell me they love penny to settle this question very nicely know Nancy wants to know is penny or sugar ever even a freshly baked item cooling on the kitchen counter know because I cover them. I'd I don't take that risk but I will tell you what penny ate one time and she's never been a dog that digs in the trash or anything like that. I've never had to worry about that except one time. This is in my old place of not when I was here.

My current house, but I had a friend gave me this big bag of Easter candy and it was truffles troubles that are wrapped in gold wrapping look really pretty Easter truffles and because I never had an issue with her getting into any of my stuff for my trash this bag was Easter candy bag was in another bag sitting on the floor. My kitchen I go out, go for a run. I come back and instantly I know some things wrong because their stuff all over my floor so the dog had gotten into the bag and into the smaller bag any no joke. At least 30 pieces of chocolate and and the rappers.

Everything was gone.

I thought she knew it open. The rappers were talking about so many pieces of chocolate and rappers right I usually get her outside things you get sick because dogs are not chocolate you feed a little dog chocolate and they will die and so I'm nervous as all get out the don't throw up. Penny is a weak stomach.

She not only did not have any problems. She was happy as a clam and for the rest of the week. She pooped gold rappers note. I swear to God for five days.

The dog pooped gold rappers and so she loved chocolate and I got to see evidence of it. She never got sick so no she never even be a good I do not theater people, for the most part, but that was the one time where I learned the hard way not to leave anything tasty on the floor even into other bad and rappers the job all in all in on Easter candy, chocolate as she did very close but no have you ever taken batting practice to Expedia now. I wish I had that be so much fun.

I think it be on TV, but it doesn't matter to me because there it would be an experience that I would never forget going back to food you're really cool over God catch up always overrated. They are delicious and I'm not you, why we were talking about pumpkin doughnut that would help myself but there's nothing better than a warm Krispy Kreme and I do not mean the glazed with the whole, the actual Krispy Kreme doughnut building with the cream. That's why they're called Krispy Kreme.

The outside is glazed when they're out of the oven and the cream has been inserted into the doughnut and the whole thing is warm like you never tasted anything better that my Krispy Kreme is so popular because of the cream filled doughnut. Oh my gosh nevertheless him I had one. I know they sell them at the grocery store they probably get them delivered that morning. And so they would be fresh doughnut but I don't want any Krispy Kreme and got the cream in them and I only ever see the glazed one glazed with the doughnut holes taken out of the middle board lost no have you ever played Dragon. Have you considered Dragon my brother used to love that game. So I've never played it, but I watched him play a little bit. I'm not big into video games. The only videogame that I ever really loved Ms. Pac-Man when I was a kid. Board Dungeons & Dragons version out there might be a bit of conversion. One thing about is a classic game board characters and story.

I know that it is not never played the board game. My brother used to play the videogame to the dragons beside him. Without it, board games more into clue risk battleship and the one where you're capturing countries all over right recently.

It can be tough. I really love to me is nothing but like flavored sugar. It's like your mainlining sugar into your vein. So I prefer ice cream if I'm going to have dessert when I have dessert for the ice cream might make it harder work out at home or work out I'm on the home workout are now, I don't.

I met I love. I gave him my gym membership during the pandemic to save money and I will never go back. I have a stationary bike. I have an actual bike ride I can do yoga in my house although I'm going to a yoga class on Thursday the second one since I started going again. I'd rather go hiking. I'd rather go rafting rather go kayaking. I'd rather swim. I don't need to be to Jim Brady that stuff would rather be able to foresee the future or change the text.

No change in the past.

The past made me who I am right now, for better or for worse, you change the past, you change a lot of things.

So I'd rather know what's coming. But sometimes I think I knew what was coming I might adjust or I might change course and I only want to walk the path that I was meant to walk for better or for worse. I glad I don't know what's coming and I can't tell you don't have any regrets, but I'm not tinkering with the past M&Ms point. Tina plainer better for you anyway.
