The one who represents us in the complicated arena of international affairs today on a new beginning interrupting what we originally scheduled for today to bring a special discussion between Pastor Greg Laurie and our current Secretary of State conversation recorded buddy, it's my privilege to interview the Secretary of State of the United States of America, Michael Pompeo and his resume is so impressive. I have a memorize and so I'm just going to have to read it for a moment. Michael Pompeo is the Secretary of State of the United States of America. He previously served as the director of the CIA affect Mr. sec. I first met you in the Rose Garden.

I was introduced to you by Michele Bachmann and at that moment, you were the director of the CIA, but does secretary Pompeo was a Congressman from Kansas and the CEO.

He graduated first in his class from West Point and served as a Calvary officer patrolling the Iron Curtain before the fall of the Berlin wall after leaving active duty. Mr. Pompeo graduated from Harvard Law school, having become the editor of the Harvard Law Review and secretary Pompeo was born right here in Southern California in the city of Orange, which I didn't know until recently he's married to Susan Pompeo. First of all, it's great to be with you all.

It's truly special. I was to be out there with you out when you get up there and see you in person. Irespectthatabout40it'sanimportantpartofwhoIaminformseverythingthatIdowhatIdostrengthtomyfamilyandallcitizenshereUnitedStatesofAmericaIchosentobeupfrontaboutitbecauseIthinkpeoplearoundwillrespectthoseofuswhoareprincipledinourunderstandingrecognizethatweareallsinnersandthatwegetwrong.TimetotimeIwillyouunderstandthatthereisthiskindofserviceNorthstar,thepresidenttalksaboutthisallthetimeatthebladderclassaboutaplumblinetoTreanorandAmosasthosethekindofthingsweaspireto.Wetrytodoeachandeverydayisnotthatwethinkwillgettoperfection.Indeed,wehavethatwillneverbeachievedhereonearth,butitdoesinfactdrivethewayIthinkaboutmyroleinmyobligationtotrytodeliveronbehalfoftheAmericanpeopleeverydayMr.Sec.,IrememberIwasinthatyouinvitedmyselfinabunchofotherpastorstomeetingsometimeagoandattheStateDepartmentandyoumentionedtousthatyouhavetheBibleonyourdeskandIthinkyousaidsomethingalongthelinescorrectly.IfI'mwrong,butalongthelinesofwhatyouknowsomeonewantedtoremovetheBiblebecauseitwasinaprominentplaceandyousaidno.IwanttheBibleonmydesksoobviouslythewordofGodisveryimportanttoyou.WhataresomeversesthatyoumentionedAmosamomentago.Whataresomeversesmaybethatyougotoisyourgrapplingwithsomeofthechallengesanddecisionsyouhavetodealwithotherstoday.YouknowIalwaysharkingbacktothefactthatweallarehereandChristmasbecauseoftheLord'sgraceIwaswewerejustreflectingmywifeandIareovertheweekendone-servicetoresearchbrasshereinWashingtonDConthesevenlastwordsofChristwassomeprettynastycharactersfromtimetotimepeopleacrosstheworld.Thereismerchandisethatmythatthecentralideathatwehavethisobligationtotryandforgetthatwedon'thaveresponsibilitydeliversecurityfortheAmericanpeople,toforgivethosewhoaredoingtheseevilthingsintheworldtounderstanditwiththeLord.IthasthebestchanceofcorrectingtheirbehaviorwilljustdoourbesttoinjureandaffectthekindofthingsIthinkofIknowweallhaveourfavoritesfrommychildhood,mywifetonighttopic.SundayschoolandseemslikealongtimeagoAppledroppedtheSundayschool.Wewouldalwaysteachthemsolvethe23rdPsalm.YouaretheLordbeingmyshepherdandthinkaboutthem.IsthisthatImentorthemistheshepherdrightatalonelyshepherdwhohadhisresponsibilitytoattendtoeachofhissheep.EachofthemembersoftheflockTrinitythatthewayoutbreakstheirsoninmyworkhereattheStateDepartmentaswell.Youknowit'sinterestingyoumentionGodasashepherd,Jesussaidfornotlittleflock,itisyourfather'sgoodpleasuretogiveyouthekingdom.AndIjustlovethatversebecausefirstofall,hereferstousasalittleflock.He'sourshepherdwhowillprovideforusbuthesaysfearnot,andIwonder,Mr.Sec.,withthekindofIntelyoudealwitheveryday.ThethingsthatyouareawareofthatweasordinaryAmericansareunawareofwhatkeepsyouupatnightandhowdoyoudealwithpotentialfearandanxietyasabelieverandasapersoninyourposition.Soit'sagreatquestion.IhavemaritalresponsibilityandconstruethetalkedaboutyouwasthatIreadeverymorningsoIwentwhilesittingoutandeverymorningIgetoutofthewithintelligencetodocumentallthethreatstoAmericanshereathomeandAmericansallacrosstheworldjuxtaposesdoeverydayissometimesarguedyouhadaroundtosynthesizingtobringthemtogether,knowingthattheLordgivesmethecapacitytoworktobediligent,Ihopeyou'llgivemethewisdomandtheperseverancetomeetthesechallengeshead-oninawaytoprotecttheAmericanpeoplethatIgobacktothatmostimportantbookeverydayaswellandremindmyselfthattheLordislookingoutoverthisworld.AsdifficultaschallengingastheseproblemsarethatarepresentedtousbyouradversariesaroundtheworldandwantedtodoharmtoAmericaourmindsthattheLordiswatchingisthatthatthatismysenseofresponsibilityandalsoconferencetogivemethestrengthandcouragetocontinueonthemissionsowheneverI'mstressful,I'mpreparingforameetingwithidenticalcounterpartorIknowIwouldhavetoconfrontaveryhardsituationdeliverdays.Disseminationitdoesn'twanttohearaboutthepatentAmericastakethedefendantsonpeoplecomfortedinthefactthattheLordiswatchingoverallofusthatareinthatroomthatdaythatwillguideustobetteroutcomesforhiskingdom.That'sright.AndI'mremindedoftheverseinJamesifanymanlikewisdom,lethimaskofGodgivesitgenerouslywillnotholdback.Thinkingofthestory.ThebookofNehemiah.Nehemiahwasnotcalledthecupbearer,theking,hewassortoflikeIdon'tknowforeveniftheywouldbelikeapersonwouldcloseaccesstothepresidentandyouhaveaccessnotonlytothepresidentoftheUnitedStates.Pres.TrumpofJudea,withpresidentsofothernations,primeministers,kingsandevendictators.IthinkitwastoEasternersagoyouwereinNorthKoreameetingwithKimJongsoonandI'mthinkingaboutlikeyou'reinaroomwiththesepeople.SomeofthemarefriendlytowardusliketheprimeministerofIsraelortheprimeministeroftheoftheUKandI'msureyouguyshaveyourdisagreements,butotherspotentiallyhostile.EvenouroutrightadversariesandNehemiahprayedandGodgavehimwisdomandhowtodealwiththekingofHooverbeeninasituationwhereyoujustshotupasilentprayertheyhaveandthensomethingcametounithelpdoinginnegotiationandtalkingwiththeworldleaderinrealtime.AsIpreparetheseinteractionswiththesemeetingsisgoingtobeagoodmeetingwhereyougotacommonsetofunderstandingsonlytolearnthatunitverydifferentplace.Icontinuealwaystoprayforallofthosewerepresentinthenegotiation.Iprayforthepresident.Hegivesmetheguy.ThesearethingsIwanttogoexecuteonbehalfoftheUnitedStatesofQuébec,America.IknowthatIwasinthecomesfromprayerthepeacethatcomeswithitgivesmetheopportunityhelpdelivergoodoutcomesfortheAmericanpeopledecreasethecapitalactuallyistheisistheresponsibilitydutyisonmewithmyfaith.YougivemethatstrengthencouragedtocontinuetoworkonbehalfofAmericaninjustamoment.PastorGregLauriewillhavemoreofthisdiscussion,SecretaryofStateMikePompeoeverybodyGregLauriehere.IwantedtellyouaboutagreatwaytohearGod'swordandworshipwithfellowbelievers,notonlyaroundthenationandaroundtheworld.It'scalledharvestathome.MillionsareturninginfromallovertheplanetandtensofthousandsofmakedecisionsforJesusChrist.WhenIjoined,andshejustgotoourwebsiteharvest.more.Wehaveourweekendservicesthere.Ofcourse,butwealsohavegreatministrythereeverysingleday.Sometimesit'svisitingthemessageofaharvestCrusadeanothertime.It'saQ&Asessionweredoing.Maybeit'ssomethingmywifeisdoingfortheladies,weevenfeatureChristianfilmsresearcher/boy*lifestory,SteveMcQueen,Americanicon,andhopeforhurtingheartswithJeremycanNickavoidallthatandalotmoreharvest.orghumanresourceforfamilyenrichmentandspiritualgrowthtojoinusforharvestedhomebetweenharvest.orgtoday.PastorGregisspeakingwithUSSecretaryofStateMikearareglimpseintohisfaithrecordedjustafewdaysago,youknow,wementionedIsrael.Youtweetedaboutthatformthenewgovernmentandwehaveaverylong-lastingstrategicrelationshipofthenationofvigilantthatwewerethefirstnationthatrecognizedherwhenshedeclaredherstatecouldaMay14in1948EndowhyisanalliancewithIsraelimportantfortheUnitedStatestothink.IalsodecidedprivilegetogetherlastweekwasreallythefirstyearI'vetakensincethevirusistheworkbutwasonthegroundjustsixorsevenhoursatworkbyMr.NetanyahuandnowDefenseMinisterGantzlookatforthoseofuswhoareevangelicalbelievers.WeknowthattherearemanyfacetodrawtheirtheircenterfromthespecialplaceofJerusalemaspresidentandunambiguousinrecognizingthattheIsraelandIsraelisthattheJewishpeoplehavingallmyNanaJerusalemistherequickcapitalwasamazingtobepartofadministrationthatwasstrongandcapableenoughtorecognizethisfundamentaltruthandrealityonthegroundandtaketheactionstopreservetheGolanHeightsthatultimatelywhenImadeastatementthatIsraelhastherighttosettlement/itisnotnecessarilyagainstthelawforthemtodosobecauseitchangesmoreprisonrestrictionswereandIthinkyourpointisthecenterthere.ThedemocracyintheMiddleEastandyetmoreimportantly,theyshareandoccupythisfundamentalplacethishistoricreligiousplacethatIcanhavemysonwas15totakeintheir,andIhadachancetowalkaroundtheSeaofGalilee.Itwastrulyalife-changingexperienceforhimandforSusanandmeaswell.Weknowtheimportanceofthisplace.ThisisveryspecialplacethatisunequalaroundtheworldandwehaveanobligationtodoourpartbecausesecuritypartnersfordeathaswellasthepartnersinhelpingthempreservetheirfaithandthatfaithexecutionforallpeopleswhounderstandthehistoricalimportanceofJerusalem,Mr.Sec.,youcaredeeplyaboutreligiousfreedomhereintheUnitedStatesandabroadaswellaffectthelargesthumanrightseventhadeverhappenedwassponsoredbyyouandtheStateDepartmentandtelluswhyyouhavethispassionforreligiousfreedomandforpeoplethatarebeingpersecutedandnotjustChristians.TheChristiansareheavilypersecuted,butpeopleofanyfaithwhatwhyisthissuchanimportantissuetoyouwassomeonewhomadeclearisthatIwanttomakesurethateverypersonhasthecapacitytodothateverybelieveraroundtheworld.Everyindividual,everyhumanbeingwhohasaspecialistbecauseofthefactthattheyarguingthatourdignitycomesfromdatathatinAmericawerecognizethatweknowtheourrightscomefromlowerourcontributiontalksaboutthat.Indeed,inthatveryfirsteverpersonalitytalksaboutreligiousfreedomitself.Ihavemadeapoint,asisPres.Trump,religiousfreedom,acornerstoneofourdiplomacywithextendedcountriesgetthatright.Theyallowotherpeopletopracticethefaithofourdirectorsofadefenseoftheirchoosing.Itisconsistentwithaconsciencethatthosenationswillbebetterandthatthosepeoplewillbebettersowehavebuiltup.TinaworksonreligiousfreedomwiththeStateDepartment.YourpointabouttheseministerialbylivingtrulyremarkableandoneofthehighlightsofmytimeinservicetotheUnitedStateswherewegatheredreligiousleadersfromallaroundtheworld.PeoplefromeverydenominationfromnearlyeverycountrycametotheStateDepartmentonthesamedaytotalkaboutreligiousfreedom.Theplaceswheretherewaspersecutionandprohibitionthatwemadeaspecialpointtoworkonthosewhoarepersecuted,whetherit'stheChristiansinnorthernIraqandSyria,ortheUighursinChina.WeunderstandthatnationsandgovernmentstopersecutepeoplebecauseoftheirfaithbecauseofthereligionduringaterriblelawintheUnitedStatesasaspecialresponsibilitycapacitytorespondyesbutnotallsecretariesofStateandPresidentshaverecognizedthatsinyou'veusedherpositiontohelppeople.Theycanreallyuseyourhelp.Wereallyappreciatethatisspeakingonbehalfofevangelicalswhenyou'reayoungmanIdon'tknow.WeraisedinOrange,Mr.Sec.,ordidyoumoveoutofthatarea.SoonerwewasSouthernCaliforniaboyIwas.IcouldfindmywayaroundasurfboardorleastIcouldreally.IgrewupinSantaAna,FirstChristianChurchofSantaAnadowntherivertoEllisandthenHuntingtonBeachsoIknowtheareawell.Imisstheweatherther
