There's a film out right now in the theaters simply called the antichrist. Marilyn Manson dedicated an entire record to him calling it antichrist superstar and if you Google his name it'll generate almost 5 million pages. People talk about this mysterious figure that will emerge on the screen.

Who is this man will only be like.

I don't think he will be what you might expect his activity dressed all in black with glowing red eyes and steam coming off of him with a theme song done done done done that on done that on 10,000 that's a dark bait are things I recommend that the tenant no I don't think so. It will be this person that we call the antichrist.

It revealed that 49% of Americans said they believe there will be an antichrist some time in the future. Then in 1999 Newsweek poll, 19% of Americans said they believe the antichrist is entered on earth right now you might be surprised to know that the Bible is quite a lot to say about him. The PC antichrist can be revealed, and he can emerge on the scene. Therefore there is no point in trying to figure out the antichrist.

It you're not going to figure it out.

The Bible does not tell you to look for antichrist. It tells you to look for Jesus Christ. So that's what we need to have our focus and our attention right now that the Bible tells us in Hebrews 928 Christ was offered to bear the sins of many, and of those that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin on the salvation. Jesus said when you see these things begin to happen.

I do not believe the church and when I see the church.

So with that in mind, let's read Revelation 6. Starting in verse one. Now I saw the lamb opening one of the seals and heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder.

And he that sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand and I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying a quart of wheat bread in areas and 3 quarts of barley for a denarius do not currently oil and the wine and when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say come and see, and I look to behold a pale horse in the name of him who sat on it was death and hell followed with them in power was given in the him over 1/4 of the earth, to kill with sword, hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth, and when I opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those would been slain for the word of God with the testimony which they held and they cried with a loud voice saying how long the Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell on the earth, then a white robe was given to each of them and it was said to them that they would should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brothers would be killed was complete. Let's pray the Lord as we consider the scenario. This chain of events that will happen to give us eyes to see and ears to hear, and let us, Lord, be ready and alert because of these things are close in your coming. This even closer.

Speak to us in your work, we would pray now in Jesus name, amen. Tribulation period begins with the emergence of the Whitehorse or the antichrist. In a parallel passage or Matthew 24 that closely follows. Revelation 6 we see that it starts I would Jesus think many will come in my name St. I am Christ.

He will come off as I said already, with a peace agreement and people will not be ready and this is not unprecedented.

The worship of Caesar or they would be executed, but initially, Rome came off looking like a benevolent ruler was Malcolm Muggeridge, etc. and I quote all new news is old news happening to new people." So antichrist will come in first with the gestures of peace and these ideas of brotherhood and of peace and of so forth.

And people embrace and Adolf Hitler did much the same thing and only think of Hitler we remember those black and white newsreels were he's speaking away and the people are sitting in rapt attention what you need to understand that that Hitler had rallied the support of the German people through an interesting turn of events when Hitler emerged on the scene. Germany was in desperate financial straits.

The people were virtually starving to death. Communists were rioting in the streets and the general chaos and along comes Hitler. He seemed to be a voice of authority in the midst of this chaos. He spoke to the German people of being a people of destiny in a promised glories to come.

He said once again Germany would rule the world and he said that the Roman Empire would be revived and Hitler would be at said and he would lead them out of their morass and sure enough they were led out of a failed economy in five years Hitler built schools recover German pride lost in World War I, built freeways and managed to bring a sense of pride back to Germany again anyone.

Though there are some books written by some aggressive atheists that are popular today. The reality is most Americans believe in God.

There are very few atheists out there, but the problem is that they believe in a God, but it's often a God of their own making a God of them that they have effectively made in their own image and they might borrow a little from here in a little bit from there make up a few things on their own and that becomes a belief system that will be similar to what we'll see in those last days scenario that the false prophet will be promoting in the antichrist will be pushing and that we will see capturing the imaginations and the hearts of the people so antichrist will bring a new one world religion and he'll also change economics as we know them today will bring solutions to the global economic woes of the world through a sophisticated international ID system and that's mentioned in Revelation 13 verse 16 when it says he requires everyone, small and great, rich and poor slave and free, to be given a mark on the right hand or on the boring. No one can buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast of the number representing the same wisdom is needed to understand this at the Manor was understanding solve the number of the bees written number of a man. For years we have OnStar and vehicles we have GPS now even in our little phones or iPhones, etc. were not only you can find out where you're going. Our absence is conspicuous.

Where are we, where's Waldo. We can only guess but I think it's safe to say we do not play a major role in the end times events. Why is that, here's just a few possibilities number one, it is possible that the US does not mention the Bible prophecy because our country is decimated in a nuclear attack. We can't roll this out. We can see it could not happen because it could happen already mentioned that there are 27,000 nuclear weapons on the planet.

There are rogue nations that have threatened to use them. That's not even dealing with some terrorist group to get hold of him someday. I pray I hope this does not happen. I don't think it would happen but we can't rule it out. Number two, we simply declined as a world power. Of course we know that nations rise and fall as Mark Hitchcock pointed out in his book is America in Bible prophecy, the mind of Babylon lasted only 86 years. The powerful Persian Empire did better. 208 years. The glory of Greece was eclipsed after 268 years mighty Rome lasted for eight centuries the British Empire endured for almost 250 years in the United States of America is 233 years old and counting every nations days are numbered, and is a dollar gets weaker and the euro and other currencies stronger as China and others become economic powerhouses to see how this can happen so we could just simply diminish as a world power.

Number three and I prefer this option. America may not be mentioned in Bible prophecy because a great Bible suites our nation. Let me explain that that's not the zero Bible would eliminate us as a world power.

But if one were to happen it would change a lot of things you think of a massive revival came across our country and millions and millions of Americans believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and by the way, we've had revivals historically and we really need one now the Lord graciously sent this awakening so many Americans would come to faith in Christ when the rapture took place when just impact us overnight me think about that if you pull Americans today.

Half of them usually claim to be born again. There are approximately 308 million Americans today so at least 150 million Americans would say right now I am a Christian.

Are they God only knows. But I tend to doubt that. So let's cut it in half.

One of their 75 million Christians in our country will make its policy 15 million of us are genuine followers of Jesus. Can you imagine if 50 million Americans suddenly disappeared effects it would have industry government, the military, business, agriculture, education, medicine, depressing Hollywood would largely remain untouched but other industries would be affected if you can cut us down overnight and then he could see how the antichrist can emerge on the scene with economic solutions with his global worldview and we would just sort of fall in line and just become another one of the nation Confederated behind him. You can see how to play out. Cantu so what are we supposed to do in light of all's well. I think that we as the church ought to do what we do best. We need to pray for our country like never before and we need to reach out to a lost world with the gospel like never before. The answer for America's problems is not a military one.

It's a spiritual one.

We need more John 316, not more M-16s we need more people hearing about who Jesus is and what he promises not some whatever you believe God to be spirituality know we need to get back to the true God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God who sent his son Jesus Christ to be born in the manger to die on the cross and the rise again from the dead three days later, the God who gave us the Bible we turn back to that God.

He promises he will bless us and we have not been turning back again.

We been turning away from him. It seems like every time you turn around and new laws being passed to restrict the practice of one's faith and it seems like those laws always come against the Christian it's like all tolerate anything or anyone except the Christian.

The one who believe that the Bible is the word of God.

But here's the promise of God in Scripture to any nation including ours second Chronicles 714 goddesses of my people. If you will humble yourself and pray and turn from those wicked ways, causes all hear from heaven forgive your sin and heal your land that's revival of how we need, how I need, how you need it so easy does it matter was so-and-so were here listening to this message today. It is the one that needs to hear that you and it's me. Are you right with God. We are in church.
