Perhaps some kind of a resurgence of not resurgence, but a surge of democracy in the Middle East that didn't turn out so well either. What is the explanation all of this chaos and this confusion.

One of the world is happening. Short answer Bible prophecy is happening in real time before our very eyes. The Bible has predicted the things that are happening in this part of the world. The Hebrew prophets thousand years ago, foretold the scattering and re-gathering together of the Jewish people into their homeland and Scripture specifically tells us that once they were regathered world history as we know it would culminate in this part of the world the war to end all wars would take place in this world and the attention of the planet would be directed toward Israel and toward the little city of Jerusalem is that happening right now.

Yesterday about summer studying the book of Revelation together. You see God's plan is not to conceal it is to reveal and the fact is, is that the word Revelation by the way of Revelation singular, not revelations. I don't know why people insist on calling this the book of revelations Revelation means the unveiling.

So here in this great book God is unveiled so many things for us about the book of Revelation is likely ultimate action thriller anyone loves a great novel has the love this book and as drama, suspense, mystery, or it tells of rebellion unprecedented economic collapse in the ultimate war of history, but yet despite these ominous happening and also birds and radiates with joy and hope and ends with a happy ending is sin and death are banished forever. So the reason we want to learn about the future is to motivate us to live right in the present memory P that we learn about the future to motivate us to live right in the present because someone say well it's unimportant to study Bible prophecy. It doesn't matter. Besides, no one can sort it out. I beg to differ. I think we must study Bible prophecy, and it will help us to know what is happening in our world and will also help us to live more godly lives summer perplexed by this book and I would not say I have all worked out or figured out.

I don't think anyone does. But I think much of it can be understood and there is a key to unlocking the book of Revelation.

Adrian Rogers called it the gold in the key to the book of Revelation and that golden key is right there on the front door in Revelation chapter 1 verse 19, where Jesus tells John banished to the island of Patmos in this unveiling of the future to write the things that you have seen the things which are in the things that will take place after this. Revelation is unique in that it comes with its own outline. It tells us about our past, present and future. First, Jesus tells John to write about the things that he is seen and that we have looked at in chapter 1 we have seen in chapter 1, the resurrected and glorified Jesus of all power on heaven and earth.

The reveal Jesus.

It was complete and complete control of what is about to happen. So chapter 1 the things that you've seen revealed God is on the throne of God's in control. Don't freak out okay.

Finally, in chapters 21 to 22. We have the new heaven and the new earth. Now sort of the pull back and get the big picture of the prophetic scenario.

Let's try to sort it out. What is the next event on the prophetic calendar is at the second coming of Jesus. No, because that happens at the end of the great tribulation. During the battle of Armageddon. Alright so what is the next event on the prophetic calendar. It is my opinion at the next event is the rapture of the church. You know the difference between the rapture and the second coming right in the rapture. He comes for his church in the second coming.

He comes with his church and the rapture were caught up to meet the Lord in heaven and the second coming. He comes back from heaven with us. What goes up must come down and I believe that this event the rapture coming from the word wrap Taurus is could happen at any moment. The Bible says will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye to will be in the field. One will be taken one would be left, so this could happen at any time and I hope that were already for that. If we are a tell you how to be at the end of this message so that would probably happen soon then what was somewhere either right before or right after the rapture. I command people to worship it and this is the point at which the cataclysmic judgment of God falls upon the earth and working to be looking at them more in our next look at Revelation and then this culminates in the final battle to be fought the battle of Armageddon. I'm not talking about Armageddon. You probably heard about that at the shutting down of the 405.

This is Armageddon and Armageddon will happen individually as it will. How do you know that because the word Armageddon is taken from the root word Armageddon or the word Megiddo. Actually that's not true because one day heaven and earth will become one, you're going to come back to the earth again in a glorified body. So this is all that is yet ahead in the big picture of the prophetic scenario.

So let's come back to today, where we had right now.

Well I want to focus in on Israel. I ran an American in the light of Bible prophecy. Let's begin using with the mother modern state of Israel. Now the Bible predicted that the Jewish people would be dispersed to the four corners of the earth and regathered again. God, our Lord. Matthew chapter 24 gave a very specific prediction.

He said that the temple that was being rebuilt by Herod was going to be not only destroyed but dismantled stone by stone, so here's the question. Did that prediction reach fulfillment will the answer is absolutely yes because in 70 A.D. all historians agree that Titus on the Roman legions marched into Jerusalem slaughtered thousands of Jewish people and dismantled the temple white of the dismantled because there was gold in the temple. It caught fire and they had to dismantle it to get the melting gold out the billing to a T.

The prophecy of Christ. At this point, the Jews were scattered to the four corners of the earth.

Fast-forward now many many years. The Holocaust happened and Hitler is seeking to eradicate the Jewish people from the face of the earth, and thankfully the United States of America in England and our allies stop the Nazi war machine and what happens in the aftermath of the Holocaust is nothing short of amazing. The Jewish people begin to return to their homeland again in a May 14, 1948 the modern miracle happens, the state of Israel is officially declared. Here is a nation that has been dispersed for hundreds of years in the regathered again. This is never happened again. Historically David Jeremiah in his book. One of the world is going on writes quote number is a decimated ancient people managed to retain their individual identity through almost 20 centuries and reestablish your nation in their original homeland. This event was specifically prophesied and it happened exactly as foretold. It was a miraculous act of God."

So Israel is back in their land again, but there was still a problem. They did not have control of Jerusalem. Jerusalem plays a key role in the end time scenario, even though they had declared their statehood.

Jordan was still controlling the old city of Jerusalem including the Temple Mount and most of the historic sites within the six day war broke out in 1967, in which Israel was attacked.

No one expected her to survive. Not only did she survive the attack.

She won the war and gain back a lot of the things that you lost, including the old city so the city of Jerusalem was under Jewish control for the first time in over 2000 years yet to this present day Jerusalem remains at the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with Arab leaders worldwide, insisting that Jerusalem and the entire West Bank are rightfully Palestinian territory must ultimately get be given back as a condition of peace.

Well listen I'm in a go with God on this one God gave Jerusalem to Israel. It's her city.

Genesis 1518. God said the area of your descendents I will give this land from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates.

He gave that land to Israel and they're not going to give up the city of Jerusalem as Tim LaHaye said, quote, the smell of the Holocaust is still too fresh in their memories and so all of this of this happening is just as the Bible predicted. So let's put it all together. Let's go over a chronology of events, Israel would be scattered hasn't happened yet Israel would be regathered after she was scattered hasn't happened again.

Yes Israel will regain the city of Jerusalem is that happen.

Yes, Israel will be isolated from the other nations of the world and will effectively stand alone has that happened not quite over, getting there. And finally, Israel will be attack that happened not yet none of the scale that the Bible predicts that is still in the future. Perhaps in the near future.

But it's interesting to me how Jerusalem still is the big thing that you notice in the Democratic convention how the city of Jerusalem came up, apparently on their platform. They had neglected to say that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and it was also a mention of God that there left out and so the White House said they wanted that put back in again but according to their protocol. I learned a lot of people blowing it, but yet they said two thirds voted for it, which is an exaggeration for sure and doubly. Here's what I found interesting is that they're talking about Jerusalem. Why is Jerusalem such a big deal when we talking about Los Angeles or Paris or Rome or or in some other majors capital in another part of the worldwide. This tiny little city of tell you why, because God said Jerusalem in the last days will play a key role. Scripture says she would be an intoxicating drink. I heavy stone burden for the whole world. Zechariah 12 God says I'll make Jerusalem and Judah like an intoxicating drink to all the nearby nations that send their armies to proceeds Jerusalem on that day I will make Jerusalem I heavy stone burden for the world. One of the nation to try to lifted will succeed. I mean think about that this little city of Jerusalem. The tiny nation of Israel. Okay so with this in mind. Imagine this Lord tells the prophet to go to a valley of dry bones. This would be like God calling you to go to a cemetery go to the cemetery and preach to the tombstones if they are all gonna live again. So what does this mean what do these bones represent the interpretation is on in verses 11 to 14 of Ezekiel 37 then he said Son of Man. These bones represent the people of Israel nursing we become old dry bones all hope is gone.

Now get this message of the sovereign Lord all my people. I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again I'll bring you back to the land of Israel.

When that happens all my people you will know that I am the Lord will put my Spirit in you and you will live in return will be your own land. Then you will know that I am the Lord. You see, I've done everything just as I a promise I the Lord have spoken, all right. This prophecy is been fulfilled.

Israel has been regathered together again in their land. Here's an interesting thing after Ezekiel 37 comes Ezekiel 38 is a profound insight is in it, but Ezekiel 37 foretells the regathering of the nation Israel.

Ezekiel 38 speaks of an attack against Israel. Ezekiel 38 speaks of a large nation to the north of the newly established Jewish homeland along with a number of allies in beating Israel from every direction. Clearly this is going to happen after the regathering of the Jews to their homeland, so it is in our future. Perhaps our near future and multiple times Scripture emphasizes this will happen in the latter days, or in the last days of this is still in the future.

Ezekiel 38 over there now verse one reading from the new King James version Son of Man, set your face against Gog in the land of Magog, the Prince of Rod three second tubal prophesy against him and say, thus says the Lord God, behold, I am against you all God, the Prince of Ross Misha and tubal. Israel is known for their military prowess were there. It military intelligence and of course for quite a long time now. They have had nuclear weaponry and have never felt more confident.
