In this Sunday morning message, Pastor Greg Laurie examines how Moses models the intimacy you can experience with God. Turn in your Bible to Exodus 32 and follow along as we continue to look at the life of Moses in a series called, “Water–Fire–Stone.”

Notes

“So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend” (Exodus 33:11).

Moses offers himself in the place of the people.

Prayer is not getting your will in Heaven, but God’s will on Earth.

1. Moses asks for Divine direction.

2. Moses asks for confirmation.

“The Lord replied to Moses, ‘I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name’” (Exodus 33:17).

3. Moses asks for the very glory of God to be revealed to him.

We sit in awe of the relationship Moses had with God, but did you know that your friendship with God as a Christian is even closer?

Everybody Greg Laurie here. You're listening to the Greg Laurie podcast and my objective is to deliver hopefully compelling practical insights and faith culture and current events.

From a biblical perspective to find out more about our ministry.

Just go to our website harvest.org so thanks for joining me for this podcast I have a message for you from a new series that were doing called water Firestone based on the life of Moses and the title of my message is how to have friendship with God.

Would you like to have friendship with the creator of the universe.

Talk about having friends in high places.

I'm telling you it's possible let's start with the word of prayer. Then I'll tell you what the Bible says let's pray father I pray that you will speak to our hearts as we open your word.

I know there are people watching from a rollover of every age of every background and they all have needs, Lord, but the most important need. We all have is we need you and I pray that you will speak to us as we open the Scripture we ask all of this in Jesus name I met so let me start with a question. Do you have any friends that we have close friends and we have new friends in and I want to go so you know a new friend of someone you're just getting to know so they tell a bad joke. You live to be a lie to and you actually act like you're interested.

While they're talking. But after you've known someone for a while. The real you will emerge as you know, you let your hair down on my case that singular one singular care but you know you really open your heart up and in a friendship developed and then you have marriage and then when you get married you spent a lot of time with your friend. My wife Kathy she is my best friend and we been married for 46 years so we understand each other. I sometimes jokingly say between the two of us we have one complete brain and by that I mean I'll forget something LLC may what was that guys name.

It was, and shall remember that show. Forget something.

Where were we on that day all, remember that and so together we get it all figured out, but even the way that a man and a woman communicate it either saw a little mystery to it. Sometimes men don't understand women and let me restate that most of the time and don't understand women. But there are times that women don't understand men either. Let me illustrate. When a man says to a woman it's a guy thing.

What that really means is there is no rational thought pattern connected to this and no chance of you ever figuring it out when a man says to a woman. Can I help with dinner. What he really means is I am hungry and I want to eat right now. When a man says to a woman what it would take too long to explain. He really is same. I have no idea how it works. I want a man says to a woman take a break honey you're working too hard is releasing turn off the vacuum cleaner. I can hear the game of watching on TV when a man says to a woman that that's interesting, dear, what is really saying is, are you ill actually talking when a man says to a woman you will you know how bad my memory is what it would usually saying this despite the fact that I know all the lyrics to the theme song of the Beverly hillbillies and I remember the phone number of my old girlfriend.

Sorry I forgot what day your birthday actually is on when a man says I can't find it. He's really saying if it didn't fall into my outstretched and I'm completely clueless. And when a man says to a woman you look terrific. He really means stop changing your outfit and let's go.

And finally, when a man says we are not lost. I know exactly what we are what he is really saying is known will oversee us alive again, marriage, friendship. I want to talk to you about a man that knew God in a personal way a man wouldn't friendship with God and of course, that man's name is Moses Exodus 3311 says the Lord spoke to Moses face-to-face as a man speaks to his friend. What an amazing statement that is an especially in light of the fact that it's in the Old Testament.

Now a few moments I'll talk about how we can have friendship with God and it's all a part of the new covenant as we might call it that came as a result of the death and resurrection of Jesus. We can all be friends with God, but in the old covenant in the Old Testament you didn't have that kind of access to the Lord, but Moses did.

He was the friend of God and one day in deep conversation. Moses and his friend God Almighty were talking and Moses asked for the most audacious thing. It's really unprecedented. What he asked for the actually said to the Lord. I want to see you. I want to see you with my own eyes, but you know what friends can ask friends for favors and by the way, God was not offended by this request, and in fact was drawing Moses out to look for to pick up what we last left off in this series of Moses is up on Mount Sinai receiving the 10 Commandments. Now he doesn't know how bad things are back at the camp where Aaron was left in charge.

He did not yet know at the people were dancing around a golden calf and calling it their God. And so while he's there on Mount Sinai. The Lord says to Moses in Exodus 32 verse nine, I'm going to pour my wrath out against these people and consume them and make of you a great nation. Moses did know how bad it was and now as he descends from the mountain he sees the site of full tilt idolatry and immorality in Aaron offers up the lamest excusable time to justify this horrible behavior.

Moses is so angry he takes these two commandments written by the finger of God throws him on the ground on the smash of the pieces of that was not a good idea.

The Lord actually said Juergen have to go carve a new set and that's exactly what he had to do but here's what was happening. The Lord was developing Moses. He was testing Moses and he was wanting to see if Moses would learn how to be in inter-Sesser. Maybe God is testing you right now. Why do Christians go through times of hardship. Why do we have to experienced trials. I remember when I was a brand-new believer, and fellow Christians were Mina, Greg, you're going to go through trials and like I'm in a go on trial.

No you have trials what you mean trials you'll know when the first trial hit.

I knew why does God allow trials and tribulation and hardship in the life of the believer. James chapter 1 says this dear brothers and sisters when troubles of any kind. Come your way. Consider it an opportunity for great joy for you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow so let it grow for when your endurance is fully developed.

You'll be perfect and complete, needing nothing. Trials are like gods. Jim you break muscle down to build it up so you go to a gym and get the first of the year you're out of shape while you're in the shape you're just in the shape of a pair which is not a good shake your friends even call you is the Lord's prayer know you don't want that. So you go to the gym you sign up and you work out really hard and then they say you can even lift your head. You're so tired. Well you need to pace yourself and in time you'll break the muscle down you build it up and you'll be stronger as a result, God let you go through these trials to strengthen you and God was sort of whipping Moses in to shape and God wanted to see if Moses had really changed over good Moses was that hotheaded man that took matters into his own hands instead of waiting on the Lord's timing.

He killed an Egyptian and then had to go into exile for 40 very long years until he was recommissioned at the burning bush by the Lord. But no, Moses is going to learn how to deal with people that oppose him. Are you dealing with people like that right now that are critical of you that are making life hard for you people that if she too unfairly what your natural reaction kit that had hit back hard. Well, that's not what were taught to do in the Bible. Jesus says love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you and when you do that you're acting like true children of your father in heaven, so the Israelites were not very appreciative of Moses. At this phase of the story, they were critical of his leadership and he was becoming very frustrated. Would he be an intercessor. What he stand in the gap for them would he pray for them. By the way, God is still looking for people to stand in the gap and pray. The Bible says the Lord was looking for someone to stand in the gap but he could find none. Are you willing to pray for other people to come to the Lord, are you willing to pray with persistence for the Lord to answer that prayer.

You're bringing the form of John chapter 4 is a story of a desperate dad whose son was very sick. In fact, he was at death's door. This father was a part of a royal family, and he came and humbled himself before Jesus, which is pretty amazing visa amount of royalty and he gets down and humbles himself before Christ embeds Jesus to touch his dear son is a response of the Lord is quite unusual because he says unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe. Well like what kind of thing is not to say to a desperate dad that just wants his son to be healed, but the fact is, Jesus was not really addressing the father he was addressing the physical probably just came to be entertained is keen to see assign a miracle, something to dazzle them. Meanwhile, this persistent dad was standing there waiting and would not give up, and then he says, Lord, come to my house before my son dies. Jesus is all your son. He's healed so why did this happen what why did Jesus not just respond to the sky immediately because he wanted to draw him out and he wanted to teach the man that sometimes you need to keep asking. You need to keep seeking any need to keep knocking on the door and sometimes because we will not be persistent in our prayer we don't see them answered in the affirmative, sometimes what looks like a barrier may actually be a bridge so don't give up succumbing back to Moses had Moses learned anything what he pray for these fickle people.

Let me ask you is there someone you need to be praying for right now. Do you have a child that's rebelling against God, and they're just going from bad to worse or you know someone that needs to hear the gospel, but they're not responsive when you try to engage him in a conversation. Don't give up keep praying for them because we know, when you pray for people to believe in Jesus, you're praying according to the will of God is a how do you know that Greg because the Bible says God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Here's another illustration.

Abraham and Isaac. Remember the Lord said to Abraham cheek, your son, your only son, whom you love and offer him as a sacrifice to me. So Abraham took his boy up that mountain and obedience to God, and Isaac was kinda wondering what was going on about the way sometimes on religious art you see this shown in a way where Abraham is a an adult obviously but Isaac is just like a little boy. I know Isaac was a young man at this point, probably full-grown. And so when he realized what was about to happen that his father was in a potentially offer him as a sacrifice to get us if you know a dead you're a very old dude. When we sacrifice you, and only okay but you know, amazingly, not only did Abraham obeyed God, but Isaac went along with it as well and as I got up to the mountain. Isaac asked his father. The question words a sacrifice and Abraham prophetically says God will provide himself a sacrifice and he pulled out the knife. I was ready to plunge it on his son and suddenly the Lord stopped him and said to him no harm.

Listen, it was never God's intention for Abraham to take the life of his son.

But what was was a test of Abraham's faith and it was a picture for us of what happened when Jesus went to the cross, the father sent the son to die but the son willingly went and as Jesus said no one takes my life. I lay it down of my own accord, but my point is simply this. Sometimes the Lord will allow tests in our life to see if we will press on and not give up. Don't listen to this amazing statement of Moses in Exodus 32 verse 31 Moses should turn to the Lord and said, these people are committed terrible sin they make gods of gold for themselves.

Now, please forgive their sin, and if not then blot me out of the record your keeping so Moses is seeing the sin of the people and he goes the Lord Jesus. All right, I know it's bad it's horrible what they've done and I'm asking you to forgive them of their sin in the original Hebrew. There is an implied pause so would go something along these lines. Lord I know they've committed a horrible sin. And I ask you to forgive them pause pause pause.

But if not then blot my name out of your book.

Got it. Moses was pondering this. He's thinking about it.

They seem Lord, it would make a difference if it would mean that they would be forgiven.

Take my name out of your book effectively of the apostle Paul said the same thing when he wrote in Romans I drink or choose me Romans 93.

He said my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters, I would be willing to be forever cursed. That is cut off from Christ.

If you would save them.

So basically, Paul and Moses are saying the Lord hey, if this is what it takes will go to hell. So these people can go to heaven. That's a intercessor for you that someone standing in the gap. Thankfully we don't have to give up our hope of eternal life. So someone else can have it that is already been purchased for us by Jesus Christ on the cross. But Moses was a true intercessor and he would not give up. I think one of the reasons we don't intercede for others. One of the reasons we don't pray for others is because of were brutally honest. No one likes to admit it, but we would have to say we just don't care. You're not can you share if you don't care and I think of that comes back to Joan. I mentioned him last time how Jonah did not want to go preach the gospel to the Ninevites because frankly, he did not want them to repent. He wanted God to judge them and eradicate them from the earth because they were cruel people in Israel and suffered under their hand so she didn't want to go out for mercy to them and sometimes look at somebody that's living a wicked live or don't horrible things and we don't want to pray for them.

We don't approve of God touches our harder changes them or forgives their sin, but we should and if we don't care will never share, and here's what I'm saying I hope that you would have a heart that cares for people that don't know Jesus yet. CH Spurgeon regarded by most preachers as the greatest of all preachers apart from the apostles. In fact, he was called the prince of preachers once made this statement, quote the Holy Spirit will move them by first moving you Spurgeon was talking about nonbelievers. If you can rest without there being saved. They will rest to. But if you're filled with an agony for them right. Spurgeon and if you start up and want to begin to cry. Oh God, give me converts rivaled by then Spurgeon says you will have converts care being intercessor stand in the gap all around you. Are people that need to hear about Jesus Christ and all you need to do is take a little step of faith and start an evangelistic conversation about door story, God tells Moses he won't destroy the people within the access but I'm not going with them either. I'll send an angel will Moses is not down with that idea at all. He goes and tells the Israelites good news and bad news.

God is on a wide view of the base of the earth, and you can go. But he's not going with you.

You're on your own, he'll send an angel about the people and always we want the Lord to go with us and so they take up all the rings in their necklaces and everything else in the and they offer it to the Lord and they say were sorry for our sin when we don't want to go on without God and so no Moses goes to the Lord with his amazing statement in Exodus 33 Exodus 33 verse 15 Moses said the Lord you don't personally go with us. Don't make us leave this place. How will anyone now look favorably on me and your people if you don't go with us for your presence among us. Set your people and me apart from all other people on her neck.

He so candid effectively say Lord bad PR move J as your consultant. I recommend you go with that since this is a normal flight well on you or me or your people.

What sets us apart as you walk with us and we walk with you. But you know that's friendship friends can ask for things from friends and amazingly, the Lord approves and gives Moses what he asked for, and this gives us an insight into how to have your prayers answered in the affirmative listener. This the objective of prayer is not to get God to do what I want him to do. The purpose of prayer is not getting Greg's will in heaven. It's getting God's will on earth. In Greg's life.

Think of it as you be in a little boat, there's a dog and you throw your rope and you pull yourself to the dock out. Are you pulling the dog to you or a pool. Are you pulling your boat to the dock. Okay, that's prayer God is like the dog get aligned with him. The closer you get to his will. The more your prayers will be answered in the affirmative. Jesus said if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done under you or from the Greek it would be Jesus speaking.

If you maintain a living communion with me. My word is at home and you listen you can ask at once for yourself. Whatever your heart desires and it's yours now we gravitate toward the latter part of the verse, ask whatever my heart desires would listen if I maintaining a living communion with and his word is at home in my heart and reading the Bible I want to start praying for what God wants.

That's what happening. The Moses he's getting his will, aligned with the will of God in first on 5 to 15 says this is the confidence we have. We approach God. If we ask anything according to his will, he will hear us so no Moses is getting it. He's aligning with God. Now, he asked for three things from the Lord. And if you're taking notes might want to write these three things down because these are three things you should ask for from the Lord, and there on the screen as well number one Moses asked the Lord for divine direction.

He asked the Lord for divine direction.

Verse 13. Now I pray if I have found grace in your site show me your way. Every believer should ask God to reveal his will to their life and I believe God has a plan for your life. The book of James is of any man like wisdom, let him ask of God and the Lord will give generously. So when you don't know what to do. Pray about it. Say Lord just give me wisdom.

Romans 12 is a really important insight into how to know the will of God.

Paul writes and says our energy. Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, present your bodies to the Lord as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable, and don't be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Listen and he goes on to say that you may know what is a good and acceptable and perfect will of God. So if you want to know the good and acceptable and perfect will of God first present yourself to God that something you do over and over. Not just wants number two you. You have your mind change as you read his word in your being changing the image of Jesus and then the Lord promises to reveal his will.

Notice also. He says the good and acceptable will of God.

God's will is good. Don't be afraid to ask God to reveal his will to you. Don't be afraid to say, not my will but yours be done.

Never be afraid to commit an unknown future to unknown God.

God loves you his plan for you is good and if he says you can't do that. That's because he's keeping you from something that is bad. The Bible says no good thing will he withhold from those that walk up rightly so. His plan for you is good. I love with the Lord says to Moses, verse 14. My presence will go with you and I will give you peace. The Hebrew here is vivid. It could be better translated my face will go with you. What is that even mean God says you have my full attention when I'm hanging out with my five grandkids. They always want you to watch them do whatever it is they're doing.

Maybe it's a cartwheel. Maybe it's riding a skateboard. Whatever desktop are they say watch me watch me and I want soon afterwards I give my approval all you did that beautifully.

That was great. They want to be affirmed. They want to be loved. They want to be appreciated.

Are we any different or say Lord wants me Lord says you're my full attention. I'm looking right at you.

By the way, aren't you glad God is never cell phone.

You know how distracted people.

I was so phones and what is the Lord of what bodies you're scrolling through stuff not Lord, you have a spool attention.

He's watching you. But he's watching you with great love and with affection.

I think sometimes it they go.

God is watching me. That's a negative thing I heard a story about a thief that broke into a house was very dark. These making his way around and suddenly heard a voice pierced the darkness which said Jesus is watching you said you can believe it, and in the another moment passes and again the boy says Jesus is watching you. He's fumbling for his flashlight. He turns it on and it's a parent who says for the third time Jesus is watching you that the was laughing all and I was so scared and then he follows the purchaser goes down to the base and there's a Doberman with his teeth showing.

And then the parent says.

Second, Jesus while you know first all delivered name your dog Jesus okay but it's a silly joke to make the simple point. That's all. Some people see God.

Oh. Second, Jesus, God is against me, know God loves you.

God is for you. God approves of you know if you're living apart from human sin.

That's not true, but if you ask him to forgive you of your sin. The Bible says he is made, you accepted in the beloved. Ephesians 16 tells us that you are accepted by God. You are loved by God. You don't have to earn that everyday. It done already bought for you by Christ on the cross and so the Lord is a buddy I got your back okay don't worry, I'll go with you. You will have my full attention. Now number two Moses asked for confirmation verse he has for direction. Now, we asked for confirmation of verse 15. If you don't personally go with those don't make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on this run me in on your people. If you don't go with us, Lord, let the Angels are great okay but we don't want an angel. We want you. I love member when Mary Magdalene went to the tomb of Jesus early in the morning, she was not expecting to meet a risen Savior, she was going to show her devotion to him and anoint his dead body and suddenly an angel is talking to her there at the tomb and it's interesting because the angel engages her and says woman, why are you crying and Cecil's will because they've taken away my Lord I don't know where they've taken my friend the past. Anyways you you think it's a way what you're looking angel and you just asked me a question.

Whatever an angel was taken away Jesus all she could think about was Jesus.

Jesus is in here I don't know where his body is Mr. Angel and then what happens after that Jesus appears and says Mary you see, Moses didn't want an angel. He wanted the Lord himself to go with him and that's what we should all want and God reassures his friend Moses in verse 17 the Lord replied favorably to Moses, I will indeed do what you bask and look favorably on you and I know you by name list, paraphrase buddy, you got it.

The Lord was drawing about this is always what God wanted to do for Moses, but Moses was learning how to pray and to be persistent and how to keep going to the Lord again and again and again. Now Moses goes to the next level. Moses goes for the gold.

He figures him and I'm on a roll. God's answering my prayers, and as for the big one now number three Moses prays with a very glory of God to be revealed in verse 18. Please show me your glory. Another way the stated I want to see you.

God I love talking with you. I love our conversations together but actually would like to see you. By the way, that is a good thing to want to see God EB Simpson, no relation to Homer Simpson. I don't think is a commentator from days gone by, made this statement and I quote, once it was the blessing. Now it is the Lord once it was the feeling now it is his word. Once his gifts. I wanted now the giver alone. Once I sought for healing. Now himself alone." I love that. So Moses is saying. I just want to see you, Lord, wouldn't Jesus say Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. He wanted to see the Lord. But of course if he saw the Lord. He would've died on the spot. The story is told of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Geiger on he was in outer space, and he famously said. I looked and I looked and I did not see God if Yuri had taken his helmet off.

He would cut really fast.

You know, but I did all of us should want to see God when ACC got any know him, of course, but one day we want to see God face to face so the Lord works out of super sweet deal for Moses, check this out. Exodus 33 reading from the new living translation. The Lord replied, I'll make all my goodness pass before you and I will call out my name, the Lord, to you.

Also kindness to anyone I choose and mercy to anyone I choose, but you may not look directly at my base or no one can see me and live or continuous stand here in the rock beside me is my glorious presence passes by a put you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed.

Then I'll remove my hand and you can see me from behind by my face will never be seen like what Susan saying so beautiful. Lord Singer, my friend, and cut a special deal for you, Moses, let you do something no one is ever done before and what Moses then saw you. I can even imagine the apostle Paul died and went to heaven and came back to earth again and he said what I what I heard and saw his it's indescribable.

It's unspeakable. I can even put it in two words were in awe of such a relationship with the go man I wish I knew God like that. But here's something that might surprise you. Did you know that your friendship with God is the Christian is even closer than the friendship that Moses himself had with God is also possible because Moses was in the old covenant, and though this was a very special relationship he had with the Lord you if you're a Christian, are in the new covenant.

Usually we would talk about new covenant when Jesus died a new covenant was established. See fulfill all of those Old Testament sacrifices and types in himself. He was the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world coming back to Mary who is hanging onto Jesus after he appeared to her he said stop clinging to me, for I must ascend to my God and be your God, to my father and your father note you in the Old Testament, called Godfather, but in the New Testament, we can all call him father because of the death and resurrection of Jesus the Lord was saying to Mary Mary, listen now he's your God, and now he's your father and you can call on him and so we can have this friendship with God. And it's interesting because Jesus says no longer do I call you servants first servant doesn't know what his master is doing but I called you friends for all things.

I prefer my father I've made known to you and Moses saw God, and you can see God to you may remember the story of Stephen in the book of acts, he became the first martyr of the church, a courageous young man that would not back down from his fate and he stood before the religious rulers of that day known as the Sanhedrin, sort of, the Supreme Court, but a religious group as well as a political group in any proclaim the gospel to them and they rewarded him by taking his life through stony horrible way to die. And as his wife is draining from Jim, we read that Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit gaze steadily in the heaven and saw the glory of God.

They saw Jesus standing at the place of honor at God's right hand. Stephen saw his glory Moses saw's glory and one day will see his glory give a loved one who has died and gone to heaven who put their faith in Christ.

They've seen his glory there seen his glory, and one day you will see it too. But until that day. We need to walk with him and friendship with him. So in closing I'm asking. Are you a friend of God. You say also listen to this. If you're not a friend of God. Your by default, an enemy of God, not a frenemy, an enemy of God. The Bible says before were believers that we are living in sin and we are enemies who need to be reconciled to God. The Bible describes people that don't believe us enemies of the cross. The Bible also says a person that loves this world is not a friend of God, but that the enemy of God.

So I don't think you want to be an enemy of God. Do you think you want to be a friend of God of told you my story before of how I became a Christian, but there was one statement that ship my heart like a lightning bolt from heaven and that's when Lonnie, who was the preacher that they set on my high school campus.

Jesus said you're either forming or against me. Another way of putting it. He was senior, the God sprinter God's enemy. I looked around at the Christians and I thought while they're there. The friends of God. They have a relationship with God. They they know the Lord.

Therefore him and I'm not one of them doesn't mean that I'm against double the last thing I wanted was to be against God, so that was the day I believe that maybe this will be the day you believed. By the way, when I went to that meeting on the front lawn of my high school campus. I was not invited by anyone. In effect I was eavesdropping on their time of worship and maybe some of you have joined us like that some of told you the two men in your checking it out. Sin almost turned it off a few times, but you're still watching, and you're thinking. I don't know we could this even be true and if it is true what work for someone like me will number one it's all true.

Everything I'm saying he was true. Not because I said it, but because the Bible says that and Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. It's all true.

Number two, you can come into our relationship with God. You can have your sin forgiven and you can go to heaven when you die you say no Greg that's too good to be true know it isn't.

It is true, and it can be true for you right now. Jesus died on the cross for your sin, you see, we talked about intercession. Moses stood in the gap for the people of Israel. Jesus stood in the job for you, and died in your place with one hand he took hold of a holy God with the other hand, he took hold of sinful humanity and spikes were driven to those hands and he bled and died on the cross for your sin and if you'll turn from your sin and believe in him, you can be forgiven just like that and know without any doubt that you go to heaven when you die and you too can see the glory of God you to can have friendship with God right here right now. Maybe I'm talking to somebody that has no friends to speak of your lonely your isolated you're hurting you think no one cares about me. That's not true. God cares about you. I think a lot of other people due to but I know this much God loves you and God has a good plan for your life. But he won't force it into your life, you need to reach out and ask him to come and be your savior, your God, your Lord and yes your friend Jesus who died in the cross for your sin and rose again from the dead stands at the door of your life.

Nonie Knox, the says if you hear his voice and open the door he will come in. That's what it means to be a Christian. It's having Christ live inside of you in a moment, I'd like to extend an opportunity for you to believe in Jesus opportunity for you to be forgiven of all of your sin if you want Jesus to come in your life if you want to go to heaven when you die if you want your sin forgiven, if you want to be ready for the Lord's return. If you want to start this friendship with God, stop what you're doing and pray a prayer with me right here right now again I'll lead you in the simple prayer and I want you to pray this after me you can read out loud if you like you can pray it silently.

If you like, but offer this prayer to God and he will hear you just pray this if you will, Lord Jesus, I know that I'm a sinner but I know that you're the Savior who died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead.
