That's right, ribeye good coffee and we just love this coffee here and now we're just having a time with brothers and we're just talking about Jesus in and talk about all the great things that the Lord is doing in our lives and our having conversations about West Africa on my trip to West Africa.

I'm going in on March 2 in order to do a crusade for the for the so goes the former child soldiers in the disadvantaged youth of that country and the people that are addicted to drugs and I have a day especially for them.

Three days of a crusade with rent buses and drive around to the different ghettos in the in the cemeteries and and and gather up all the drug addict and all the heartbroken people in that country and bring them to a soccer field called slipway field were to set up a stage of Morgan just love honorably to share the love of Jesus Christ with them to worship and pray would have music sound system and in the morning to preach the word of Morgan and Linda share the truth of the gospel with them in and in Jesus's gonna break those chains of addiction or an outward in a fetal member in a clothing marina bring some doctors and nurses and given some medical attention were to do this for three days so and so now you been on the show before in our lives surgically remove Rosa just joined and urged her to the previous podcast joke. You were a star athlete. Unbelievable.

You know, SMU was in a definitely you they came out you were the star receiver unbelieving football but got stuck. Talk about your test me briefly what God in your life and then how the sudden fast for your on your way to Africa to help others find freedom in Christ. Well I had a real good football career college for SMU at Playboy near the University of Georgia, but I was very successful was drafted in the Canadian football league in 1991 when I didn't Catch on with the Edmonton Eskimos. I came back to United States and began using drugs and and developed a drug addicted to crack cocaine and methamphetamine and for 25 years. I thought that addiction, with everything I had them went to prison in jails and and will drug rehabilitation centers and nothing ever worked for me but my second time in prison.

I decided that now I needed to change and I was desperate. I found myself far on a prison chapel floor crying out to Jesus to save me and and and I just run my life to Jesus and that prison that day and I've never been the same and I and since that day that I surrender my life to him.

Haven't had a desire to drink alcohol or do drugs since that day when I got out I I went to a discipleship program occurs a sober living home with a Bible college to earn my bachelors in theology and I began and I got license for Damien and I went back into the prisons of them up as a minister now in and also the Lord is opened up to me be a missionary in library West Africa unbelievable. I never knew when Esther and my life to Jesus Christ on that for that that the Lord would have such a full life serving him put them on the spot that David is sitting here. If that if come out of addiction and come out of the prisons and are living a life serving the Lord now and doing great things. We share that with the audience in an and we just talk about everyday things that that people are struggling with in their lives and in and especially any kind of addiction or things that are separating you from your purpose in God listen that pocket shall hear his story and some amazing interviews there to and you feel he'll be able to take you with him to the darkest parts of Houston, Texas to the darkest parts of Africa re-shine the light of Jesus. Now he may not be a shock jock, but he shocking a lot of people by by taking I don't know many pastors and evangelists. Missionaries that are going to do their evangelism in a graveyard. I mean, this is like way out there brother but I want to tell everyone, how this came about and where you're about to go when you come back and get another interview with you would tell us where you're going and how this declaration of the dead day is turned into the suddenly in a declaration of the light of Christ and what can happen or go real quick.

Okay so when I was invited to go on a trip to Liberia to preach the gospel that the pastor who invite me over there was tell me about this group of people that are that are called the Sogo's and though the former child soldiers in there also are from the Civil War and the drug addicted to disadvantage youth and they live in the cemeteries when the war was over. They had nowhere to go so they broke into the tombs in the Crips and the cemeteries they live there and do drugs and and with the bones of the dead bodies and so when the pastor was tell me this story it to start a touch of my heart is tell me how these people are addicted to drugs hopelessly addicted to drugs. And when they were done so using the drugs it would go out and steal things.

I started thinking that that's what I used to do when I was addicted to drugs. I start identifying I said I'm what I was Sogo and so I told him I said hey I sit as a pastor when I come here to preach in your church. I want to go there to the cemetery with his Ozark. He said you want to go there. I said yes I want to go there. He said but nobody goes I said you set it up. I want to go there so we went there when I went there are priests in the church for about five days and in 597 but but the highlight the highlight of the trip was when I got to go to the cemetery and we set up a sound soundstage and on the edge of the cemetery in a get a run on the edge of the cemetery. We started playing worship music and the people started coming up out of the tombs, about a great and out of the abandoned buildings in the ghettos and the start of worship and praise in the Lord and it touched my heart so deeply.

And they started telling me they said there's no help for us.

Please help us pastor help us and at that point time.

I just knew that was my because that was a reason why was there and want to help this people that identify with so much and so the Lord not been been that West Africa two or three times that were actually three trips is be my fourth trip in March and am having a three day crusade at a soccer field or to rent buses and drive around all the ghettos and graveyards and pick up all the drug addicts.

The drug addicted people to disadvantage youth and bring them to the crusade, and when I was when the Lord was tell me about this, that he wanted me to do this. He was telling me a day's and you need March night, March 9 through the 11th and so I told my ministry partners in library. I said hey the Lord is tell me to do it. March 9-11 and I was and they said well you can do that. I said what can I do that I said that's a national holiday to the national Hollywood national national holidays that this is decorations day so was decorations day. I suggested they were all the whole country shuts down all the business shut down and all the people traveled to the graveyard all over the country to decorate the tombs of their ancestors on and then the Holy Spirit would only my hair stood up along I was I was I just knew what God was doing and so what God is doing is the day that they celebrate going into the cemetery celebrating the dead were going to be bring in the Sogo's and the drug addicts out and celebrating life hallelujah give them hope and purpose is just unbelievable what the Lord is doing Lord asked Michael he suet with the sons and daughters of thunder ministries got an organ is life and he's about to take. He's about to shake the graveyard and bring to life the resurrection power come alive old dry bones come alive. We believe our days Ezekiel beer as if you'll cry them dry bones all hear the word of the Lord and he's got a word of the Lord coming. Out of of addiction out of the battlefield of addiction and going into the prisons and pull them out of the prison to make him fearless disciples of Jesus Christ unity on the graveyard shift over Liberia here in a few weeks of praying for that mission should just take a second vote. Pray for this man is ministry guy will go ahead and will pray that right or just go ahead of him and his team and do mighty things, and that graveyard on that soccer field in the hearts of the souls of those who are addicted prepare their hearts and bring new sons and daughters of thunder in your kingdom.
