They laid on him some tough questions in Jesus Christ rose to the occasion.

Just like he rose from the dead, and he answers those questions today and experience through them Stu Epperson and with me. As a result of marriage that you talked about last time that we didn't even touch on but that's really why there's not much a marriage in heaven because we are the bride of who we are and bride of Christ.

They were the erudite, they made up the Sanhedrin, which would've been the Jewish equivalent of our Supreme Court, they would've run the whole temple. So the Sadducees were there, so there really late on anything. We got in order to create a scenario of a man all these brothers. God stood before Moses. Moses, who I tell semi-he did say, tell them the I was right. Nine.

He said I am the great I am right. He's the God of the living Jesus uses a simple verb, the I am God to demonstrate to make his point and this is the very nature God, in fact, the Jews would even say that out loud because it's the name of got the proper name of God, they never say that out loud. They would visit with the scribes right they would stop in the verbal part and they would just write in a good hushed because this is the name of God. The patriarchs guess where they are there still alive is Gaza God living all souls who have physically died are still living so God is on the God that he's the guy living and all live to him. So what Jesus does. He silences these guys with his brilliant appeal to Moses and the very nature of God and this idea of all live to him is a beautiful statement Robbie because it speaks to God's cohesive power flowing from creation to salvation, and in the resurrection and into eternity. His power to save his power to raise his power in creation is power in new creation. It says and segues size of the of your Christ. You are a new creation and that really tees up this last question your power life in heaven be different from life on this earth. What a great question man we'd asked that question a lot when we talk would have a lot Robbie was last time your goals are not having for my kids, they are quite often to John Elder speaks on all the time. Is it really frustrated that you know the people are losing hope because none have a real picture of how cool I mean this is really going to be and when all things are made new in oh we get this picture of heaven like it someplace you know that really is almost untouchable.

But it's it's a new heaven and a new earth and you know all things are to be made new. It's really a beautiful beautiful prickly request. He's the groom, and yet we settle for this earth and we just live as though even as believers we live. This is all here. We would never agree with the statement he dies, the most marbles lensing and go get all you can eat dream very but we act like that, what, when our days not going well or we lose something we act all my or someone how how dare they, or heaven forbid, encroaches on our rights or takes our stuff. We get all defensive and angry when, in fact, when you become our stuff, and when we win or how do we become so earthly minded. There were no heavenly good and so here this it brings us up in the resurrection sticks right up in the middle of it.

This brilliant doctrine of life with Christ lets us these final questions as we wrap up really high. How does the resurrection of Jesus change everything in what ways is his reaction. Resurrection power working in and through me, and how does the resurrection. Give me hope yeah and going back to this earlier question is. The Sadducees were hung up on the marriage there hung up on these early contracts and things like that fundamentally Jesus Christ basically there's when he says there's no marriage in heaven. It doesn't mean you'll recognize your spouse and we don't know how that all looks right but heaven will only enhance and perfect all human relationships without Indy without anger without frustration without fighting. There's no death in heaven will that's why there is no need for marriage because there is no need for procreation and when he says that Rick resurrection, believers are equally angels he saying that were not angels but were equal to them in the act, and that all believers are physically perfect and holy, set on serving and enjoying God. God will just like the angels fully worship God willfully working willfully be complete. We always want to be completed right in Europe.

By the way your spouse averages out yet but let's give your really quick wake-up call for all of you pre-marrieds out there. Your year engaged your wife cannot complete you the greatest line history is when in that couple in that movie at the drive-in they're looking at each other's eyes right overlooking the cane. The stars are out and the wife looks at the husband says all you complete me hogwash why he's not God. He can satisfy your soul. Sure you're compatible right sure you is inherently large and that is right. Only Jesus Christ can complete you and that that the ultimate consummation that happens at the resurrection will we see him that we have a marriage.

The other marriage.

Marriage supper Lambright right. That's when we actually get completed and and and and the excitement of that, I mean the actual like all my gosh you know God created an adventurous, wonderful, exciting, and others that this is not good be buffering myth beyond adventurous, think about what God's heart is like your heart well. This is why the saints Robbie that are persecuted in China all over the world. You know in these countries Malaysia where they were.

They literally will kill Christians in the Middle East will cut their heads off and this is the date they have the same spirit that St. Thomas and in the you know, Paul, and these these early things they long for that. There like you your to kill me. Then I would be consummated only be resurrected only face-to-face with my Savior. No doubt my faith is gonna become site there is a joy there, a deep down joy that long for being united with Christ and I just pray that we'll have that. I pray that will infect others with that. I pray that that our funerals will be celebrations and not so dagger morbid. Read the final question we got ago I thought I didn't needed. How does the resurrection. Give me pit and a and will leave it with Willie with that man you have hope in the resurrection, you know you know the resurrected Lord Jesus you know why he came out of a grave he think about a grave she can live illusory rest your life and in go be religious.
