I'm Stu Epperson this experience truth with me as Robert Gilmore was back for another week with me as were journeying through Luke chapter 19 verses 11 to 27.

My friend, so from the parable of the 10 minus as they heard these things, he proceeded to tell them a parable because he was near to Jerusalem and because they suppose that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately. He said that them therefore no woman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return calling tenant. The servants he gave them 10 minutes and he said them engage in business until I come. But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him saying we don't want this man to reign over us. When he returned, having received the kingdom he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him that they might know what he had get that he may know what they had gained by doing business first came before him, saying, Lord, your Mina has made 10 minutes more and he said to them, while Don good servant because you been faithful in a very little. You shall have authority over 10 cities in the second came, saying, Lord, your Mina has made five minutes and he said to him, and you are to have out. You are to be over five cities, then another came, saying, Lord, here's your main at which I laid away in a handkerchief fry was afraid of you because you are severe man. You take what you did not deposit and you reap what you did not so he said to him I will condemn you with your own words, you wicked servant, you knew that I was a severe man taking what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not so why then did you not put my money in the bank and at my coming I might've collected it with interest and he said to those who stood by take the Mina from them and give it to the one who has 10 means they said the Lord. He has 10 minutes I tell you that to everyone who has more more will be given, but from the one who has not even what he has will be taken away. In the King himself about the servant but read that question again. It has a question we all can't ask ourselves right. What was wrong with the servant hiding his Mina or Mina and playing it safe. This is more of a general life stewardship of what are you doing with what God is giving you while and how are you occupying until he returns. Based on the things that you know he is entrusted to us and then you know you got to go figure out how to invest that which is partly adventure.

You gotta lean into him and the beauty of trusting in which, clearly, this guy didn't trust. And therein lies the lack of faith that is the real issue here yet we know what happened to his enemies in earlier talk about those they they hated him. Later, when real rim. It says in verse 27 bringing those enemies of mine who did not want me to reign over them and slay them before me. So there is a certain there is a certain execution.

There is a certain judgment upon folks you don't want his reign. His role he will come back. He's on his way in this passage for the end of his earthly ministry. Luke 19 to the cross to the passion to be subjugated and subject to some horrible torture and mocking and pain and excruciating pain and separation was father so we could be saved. He's on his way level when he returns the second time he's alive from the dead he ascended to heaven. He's coming back to roll the rain and there will be great bloodshed on those adult receive him, so he saying look, there's a lot at stake here. The life and death's the souls of men are at stake.

Why don't we risk more in our Christian lives, which again when you think about this guy. Reasoning was wicked, which is really great? Why, why would you call a guy went because he has his thought on himself.

These he's concerned with how this can work out for me is not concerned on how it's gonna work out for the kingdom and so this is the deal is if you don't believe God is good to be with you and the rest you know you won't step out in faith. And there's that.

There you go in the risk is found in investing ahead giving ahead it's all about the kingdom is not about building my kingdom here on earth. It's about conveying living in his rule and reign in my heart and spreading his love and grace on this earth. One pastor observed quote the pay is really good in heaven and I like that it's it's important that will lay all of our crowns at his feet. It's all of his grace.

John Newton wrote was grace that brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home and on this journey of grace. The question is God's deposit the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in us. The Holy Spirit of God's seal is still the day of redemption. Ephesians 1. How am I letting this infectious grace flow out of me, through me into the world that desperately needs a Savior in a world that will be judged. It will be cut down, that will be bloodied that will suffer the judgment because if you are if your sins were paid for the cross, you will be bloodied and paid paying for your sins for eternity that you caused to go sure Christ in love with every unbeliever we know so Robbie, we wrap up your ass. These final questions to get a so so how am I maximizing all that he entrusted with me. What risk are you taking for the kingdom of God. In light of the king's return. So where is a great question and that's really something. We want people to to pray about and think about what is God giving you and this will about your programs radical this everything we all are filled security. This program will try to challenge people take what God is giving you the chance of bouncing a ball if it's write a book of Jamaican music if it's tutoring a kid that need some help investing everything you have into others for the glory of God.

Christian voters a good way to find out where they are what your spiritual gift.

There's hundreds ways to find other school test you can take, how are you using your gift to invest eternity. How are you using your money to invest his kingdom was really his money anyway so quickly and so selfish with the get that status is. I need a good grace religious trip given money gaily who are weak would be a parsimonious share the goodness to money, power, using the money guys giving you to give to others to your church to missionaries to the kingdom to Christian radio that you listen to on here was the greatest risk you've ever taken for Jesus what he risking right now thinking of God to expand.

Who are you discipling right now in investing your life in multiply the gospel. How are you going sending giving the gospel work here and abroad.
