Hey this is Mike Zwick from if not for God podcast our show stories of hopelessness turned and I hope your chosen Truth Network podcast is starting in just seconds. Enjoy it, share it, but most of all, thank you for listening and for choosing The Truth Podcast Network.

This is the Truth Network so I was a good Lord bring a man whose restaurant entrepreneur from sunny Florida to the mountains of North Carolina long-standing sitting in front of this man. Right now he's our guy to get older because he's moving and shaking, you start a restaurant.

It's like no other restaurant you've ever heard of were in a restaurant. We just finished Wednesday in a word in one of our Dario restaurant locations. One of the great Christian radio partner Lori do this. Men's Bible study for your first time was in the world what you think is great fellowship of the guys this morning and the Bible together and you have quite a story. Brother mean not even sure how to launch off on this. I just know that I got a call from Bradley mutual friend of ours Manny God, who said Stu yet to meet this dude. She's trying to fill a restaurant that will change lives forever and I'm like well I'm kinda skeptical about the restaurant business. They want to set Outlook and the unheard you store your passion for Jesus, how you guys using you to use food as fuel to the bread of life.

Tell us a little bit about what doctrines in turn down this trick there is a great organization up in New York that I do a lot of work wasn't always blessed to work with us to call the New York relief organization that data bus goes out and feeds people in Chelsea and Harlem and interacting in Ashley making friends with people that are homeless on the street that I care about. To this day notice day really sort of you know my heart started to do something for this. So one day driving on the road and just pray to God about what he would have me do.

After going through a bad relationship and a better relationship. I have never spoke to her, God spoke laudably more clear to me that he did that day was to open a restaurant that would benefit the people that needed to the homeless people are hungry, people are hurting people are addicted people have struggles. People need to eat and so this is a very tangible way for God leading you into something that 20 years ago. Maybe you never thought you'd be sitting here talking to a guy interviewing you with a big national radio show about a restaurant you're starting to change the world for Jesus it's always been how much how much money can we make now must we get back so the subject's restaurant chains you worked in you did ALL kinds of things from Florida, New York, everywhere in but this idea of your charge you for these meals is to be a nice, high enough in a beautiful area kind of borders Tennessee and North Carolina did it disrupt the pictures of the table beautiful beautiful country really God's country up there but talk talk is about sewer amount is the 14 stop off the Appalachian Trail right there in the Blue Ridge Mountains beautiful therapy become a video scan to go hiking all over test.

The borders Tennessee and Northville on mortgage others over and Carter County borders right in every county, which the North Carolina very very small population.

The population in the summertime can be over 30,000 people with a with a just a base population was 1600 people so there is a lot of needs as far as poverty and drug addiction in that area.

People need help to get out of those situations and so our focus to provide food for food for those people and be a light for them as well.

So how did you not get in the building and didn't get it all together me like you actually show me pictures this things coming together quick. I Thursdays even the other day I just had to pull over the summer and praise God because mom said install honestly no how it's all come together whereas honestly I just it's it's been a blessing from the day I met the landlord to the day I met people to just and help me put together with God's vision and holy keeping together is called the year-over-year he tells little about the namebrand web settlement row crop community re-so we want to be a eatery for the entire community were we serve food elevated and we restore dignity to people. So did most dignities can be restored where we treat everyone with fairness and equality inside the restaurant row crop community eatery. All plants and crops are planted in rows and we want to be people to plant seeds in the people's hearts so they can actually sort of more dinners dinner service write late at night. We'll do some special Bible studies maybe do a Wednesday breakfast and then feeder for thanks giving telephone about that is critical I think would have us do as they want to do with it. No pressure or anything you know but these guys may be whizzing the word up in the beautiful mountains of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There Tennessee and North Carolina that would be amazing, but tells about was that your vision for that is to be a ministry work. Some folks may never find their way to a church darkened door church like we like to say but don't come to a restaurant and all of a sudden they found Christ actually so many hours for the rest will be Monday through Saturday from 5 to 9 will be a fine dining high-end restaurant.

The likely you know attractive with means help support people without means not in some of the stuff is on Wednesday will be open for breakfast and breakfast will be complementary on people to make a donation to the to the 501(c)(3). They wanted but that breakfast will be open to the people who have devotions that morning and that is to be one. Then you will usually give backers deals South will provide clothing that will help provide little community with different attributes of the restaurant organizations wanting your main foreman is helping with plumbing and fixtures all his stuff. Who would've ever thought your driving on the road.

There's a kind of a dead-end looking guy that maybe looks a little like Santa Claus that may know him in that frame and he's got. I need – sign what is up with that in this crazy man here, Troy. The restaurant guide against the little restaurant to reach souls for Christ used you to determine tell everyone what happened to Greg about Larry Soleri is a 71-year-old man is probably my best friend.

I met him in August and he needed gas on the southern road so what turned out to be me stopping to get them just gas became a 11 hour afternoon, three hours having lunch and then getting hotel room and then having dinner with them in and then spending the next five days of them and he's been my best friend ever sent so Larry is now a functioning person in society goes to church every day with me his great godly man we pray and have devotions every day together, and he's a blessing to my life. You show me pictures so you get tiered of emotion.

Overall, get emotionally got some guys a remnant of our Bible study or some guys will hear noise are still talking and the word back there. We been removed from. I was there for an hour, but just need to see a lot of folks would've written out Larry off, you know, a lot of folks we go by these folks that are pertinent to write them off. We are busy and sometimes it is there some people that are not so good to know there have not the best motors but God put him on your heart, and his need to see how this guy who was on his way to nowhere in but he was struggling needed gas needed food and got just put you intersected. You guys now and he's making a difference.

Liking the people to be fed and say by Christ. Because of this guy and I got using you in his life see the potential. What you challenge out there to everyone about in your case, it's a culinary dream. It's a dream of your food is is is there is a tool to give guys given you to reach the world for Christ in the mountains of Tennessee, North Carolina, is a roadmap round Mountain Mountains beautiful up there near Boone Seattle look this guy up but actually what's your challenge of another using their gifts, their skills to connect with the father and other silly father wounds. Note the end of the day. We all have father like were in our fathers are falling. That's why they're not on not one dad on this earth is probably going perfect father and his ailing father. How would you point people to that love. The father and how would you challenge them to use their gift to point others to that love actually think that the challenge keeps me going in this project is some I can think of. And remember, right now as I'm still in Philip is a homeless guy up and New York and I've seen Philip several times in the last three years. Every time I see Philip. He ends the day by saying this little light of mine and the joy that is in Philip's heart. He sings if I could just be a piece of what Philip does to me for other people on the joy he has with the little things that he has, but I thought to be doing my job. This little item I will let it shine so I think what we are all here for you. Troy is the other part of that song, hide it under a bushel, no, I like guys giving.

Let your light so shine before men, so they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven, so this is pointing people to the father like Philip is done with you and like you've done now with all these people listening, so thanks for what you're doing now is your website up and folks can dial into what writers used to work on that interactive on Facebook and will keep everyone posted but were just grateful. I'm connecting with you on social media supposed to be connectivity on Instagram or twitter or Facebook.
