I shared a studio to last year somebody the back green shirt and the only way to appease the mob was to take off your shirt and shell chow. Frank Lester shall share, the Brown will run the show rules on our number three we had a big show so far and am very excited to welcome in our next guest DJ and I had the chance to watch her play live last night. Don't go. She's already settled in with her new role with the Los Angeles Sparks very excited to bring Alexi Brown to the show today been lines filling in for Rich on the rich eyes and show how are you Lexi. Tough loss last night-one. Are you guys like that). I think they're looking at. Repeat now you you played was Chicago and you clean a couple teams now and in the W and now having you Los Angeles be your home you said, it's been an up-and-down season. He felt settled that he felt like this is where you are meant to be and what's it like now going Los Angeles home that I worked with equipment. I'm really familiar with LA Allen and I think would be a good way to describe after right now but like I've been extremely up-and-down, at least for me personally I think a lot of you know China figured out a lot of the Completely new role in a new team with he made ready so I think everyone is doing the best that they can and I think that going to put it together a lot. Again, like three really high clips, 44% what you do work on your shot. You have any secrets to shooting that I can steal for my complete I think it really does about repetition and competent everything I've always been an elite shooter but I tell people all the time. I only but my competent wasn't there.

My mental and think about being a shooter you know you keep shooting you to make your first shot you make a great site shooting and not with me not throughout my career, but it will feel like I've been able to shoot the lobster and are not part of the game off greatly. No connection now shooting at a high clips so I think repetition is key blocking and the rotation you pull one from last night. I looked over at TJ while she's college I see you know it's what I'm talking about right.

I was the son of a great guy make those normally but mean a lot. I was one of about going for me by my gut that credit the Chicago last night. It's got to be a surreal to go up and compete against Candace Parker. She struggled last night as well.

But the fact that you get to go and compete against the all-time great cousin if he feels a player really call me and I'm not really fun I ever really match up with more fun thing was being her email at event you work it again. It's something that a lot of people don't be that a lot of you appreciate you know what you brought you what you break the link now, but for me, my favorite match evangelical BDP because he thought I grew up watching playing sheath on the last two games he played in a she's been my defense of the five-man at 1011 years old. I never thought that in what 10 years later, 15 years later I'll be having to dine with Rocky is my defensive assignment so like moments like that right back in like and then like really happed like remember where I am, where I came from the village; no matter when he came here the blessing and I was like it.

Lexi Brown joined the show Los Angeles Sparks garden 2021 WNBA champion judgment to your teammates and Candace are competing against her last night you grew up watching Diana and then you go and compete against her when the sparks take on the Mercury talk to me a little bit about the sisterhood of the WNBA and the friendships that you been able to form from the game of basketball that I would imagine will stay with you the rest your life yeah I like my best friend. I'm at right now what it Is getting Chicago last summer that Barnett taken all of the people that we been able to run into and develop a relationship with both special and amazing but a small window of opportunity advantage of all of the connections they can make leather on the corner off the court on you know not everybody had 20 year career like some of the Hall of Famer that was being playing today so I'm just like that to be a part of a I'm really grateful like that. It's always a blessing on taking every advantage I can but I was really happy to finally be out on the court playing and being able to show my abilities and my hard work being shown at low.

I would imagine Lexi's a challenge at the Sparks James to keep a straight face, sometimes because your DJs hilarious great. I love my family. We have one of the batlike environment out of the entirely way out, bent on cracking open my friend Debbie and Stan Davies came in like crazy it very hard to act like I don't hear him from time to the left so the love they lock their mind, but I think the one the fun part of being in a market that that happened here.

The fine I'm not just some fanatic expected when he got LA Sparks James and everybody loves to dance your DJs hilarious and tennis is getting into it with the rest last night.

He starts playing like boxing music is amazing Lexi Brown joining the show been lines in for Rich on the rich eyes and show you actually got a chance to see you play this winter out in Las Vegas. You are part of the first season of athletes unlimited and that's right, an upstart new professional league that is is incredible and it's you know it's available in a number of sports for you are part of the inaugural basketball season for those who are familiar with athletes unlimited. Can you describe what it is and and your experience in the choice he made to want to stay at home instead of having to go overseas in the off-season. Yeah well basically it player lead player ran so committee in place of a well-planned that select the plans that are included in the lead make the decision decided to roll the rad leaderboard.

I pretty much anything that you can think of, logistically and on and off court would would made by the committee of player though you get to the league by week we can get primitivism practice. But that the best most amazing part about the leader that is no code so we basically cut ourselves and goring basically every applicant. Again, you can think of.

You get points added or deducted from your overall or you get team team points for winning corridors. You get points for winning entire game in the top four players. At the end of the week become Draft so out of the pool of the 44 my family there. You are on a different team every week. Draft and yeah I need to go out there you go pretty quick for each other because that matter, but they don't matter. Most of the really fun and amazing environment to help you environment, I've been in that if I play golf on kids like very organic. It was very a lot of love a lot more and you know everybody had an opportunity to share their story and use them you have unlimited platform they know something that were important to them that they cared about, as well as well I love see you be a part of that and it was really cool to come out to Vegas this winter and I look forward to it again next year. It's a real alms if there is a real opportunity for a lot of women to continue to get better. Some women who aren't in the lease use athletes unlimited to bring board into the W and then big stars like yourself and a number of women in the WR playing in that as well.

You know when we talk about Britney Greiner and what she's going through and rush off part of me.

You know gets really upset because you she is one of the great American athletes and going overseas in order to earn a living will. Now the athletes unlimited is starting to come to the into the folder to be more opportunities to earn more money each year in the United States for forming like yourself, which I think is a great thing. What are your thoughts on what's happening with Britney Greiner right now and how is it impacted you as a player in the WNBA. Yeah, really… I thought that her and her family friend and team know every dad I don't know there's a way to drive or like that like matters. I know I cannot even fathom that you waiting for a person or, like our loved ones like how they're feeling at that lately even think more pictures (like that which is made me feel a little bit more at ease, but you know no one can it be okay and she's back in the United States, but the collective point about the overseas yeah like we may coming we make a decent amount of money playing in the league at the blessing not only for month-long for the other eight minefield. A lot of players go over there because the money you want to utilize who you are and what your calendar capabilities as much as you can as long you can that one for me personally.

I just couldn't stand not playing basketball for eight months out of the year, like I've never had you that before. It always been open and summer school working out and that aren't even in college really long though and I thinking about that evening of keeping your body readying your mental ready. Note bedding down for a month and you know showing up to a super competitive training camp thing that made sense to me.

I know myself as a player, not the person I'm playing so that's one of my main lot is that it did not receive the addition of athletes, unlimited enough money right now is not comparable to overheat money for a lot of players that you not maybe get some mega megastar happy the limited just yet, for me and a lot of other players you know and like middle peer the league like awkward opportunity that we were able to leverage the wouldn't of been able to leverage we were in Europe you know in village in Turkey or village and hungry because no one knows where we are what we are doing well, you know, I think a lot of the that opportunity to a home make a little money and shape build relationship, but also build our platforms off the court and I think that the limited promoted so well is yeah you are in at your basketball player but you're so much more than that. And here's the platform we have all the content. Crazy night. You need anything want to talk and have it and they promoted the crap out of all of us and it was you know it was really refreshing. You know, being in the W elect they don't do a good job of promoting all of the players. I think they promote and enhance: I think it's amazing they deserve it, but it's probably not the promote you know wide amount of players and to see haply I think the limited do that with planet Earth. Even was really exciting and I cannot wait to go play again next year so sexy appreciate the perspective been limestone and rich on the rich eyes and show Lexi Brownson, the Los Angeles Sparks and player in athletes unlimited joining the show right now is to back to your time with this farce.

TJ and I were at the game last night we were talking about the Gucci sisters and how great it is to see them both healthy out there competing at a high level lynching that you neck I bring to the group and what's it like being there teammate this year. Having competed against them for so long that a lot of leadership in energy.

I was actually name I work here in Connecticut starting her little ESPN.

PN thing he was injured in Connecticut still being able to see her prosper and that affect what I was there. What you first starting really cool to see neck and like the calming president and chaotic world.

I would own a car came chaotic, but we got a lot of hard last few weeks and that she's always been so solid keeps all of it and does not have are too high to low, I've always been a huge head and neck. I've always respected her by the player as the president of our players Association and yard struggle little bit the last two years doing with injuries and being overwhelmed with our bubble fees and DBA here be able to settle back and back there real or true self has been really cool and I'm really happy to be a part of that been able to help her get back to the MVP caliber caliber player that she is Lexi phrases often thrown around in team sports championship experience they've been there before.

You are part of a championship team sky want a great run last fall.

Now you switch coast to come out that here to Los Angeles when you say all Lexi Brown brings a championship experience bringing was. I mean I think one of the biggest thing I've always understood they want. Understanding your all really great at it because everybody always really important and it only ever changing, and I feel like I'm one of the players in the league ball had been changed more time than anybody else not playing to be in front of the bench.

The starting not playing again and now that these are not counted on a mix of all of those things and then the first half of our season, but one thing that I've been preaching of the payment last evening. I really player time like the role of being on the bank developing and practice developing energy is so crucial put peanut want to win a championship.

We last even in thick plate. We finished at 15 and 16 are regularly feel like there was a lot of success by any means, but we stuck together.

We grind it out.

We support each other practically put each other practice and it's the little things that make a championship team when a championship, and I think a lot of people lack knew that the sky was capable of winning a championship of the season. You don't either injuries. There are no delays applied.

There weird games like not everything going to go perfect, but it's how you roll with the punches that determine whether you could really be a true contender.

I think that that perspective is something that I bring to the team on top of all the things that I learned from playing with players like Evander Allie quickly really a copper and because five by coach Wade now has the yearly cavities about think anodyne event every shift like there's a lot cooked out that half that the learning from him and bring that over here something that I've been able to do and I really like it true that knowledge is really cool because I feel like waiting my turn to be able to speak up and then lead my teammate was to say wherever you go with your roles in the status and shoot the basketball flexing to shoot the ball. I'm looking forward to off watch you play on Brooklyn. This farce of two games August 2 and August 3 out of the Barclays. I will be at both. Thank you so much of things and sign look for to watching for the back half of the season. Thank you so much Lexi Brown joined the show Los Angeles Sparks is really window all full basketball life. The idea that you start to come off the branches play for Connecticut, Minnesota, Chicago, the Sparks, it's just in the W Maryland Duke and because of these, had a basketball journey and I now find yourself going up against Candace Parker last night at the crypto with TJ and veterans in the audience dancing at the time outs and every time on the Sparks game. Once again I will say this in between action of the Sparks they got it dialed in May that is so people obviously wasn't a full house right wasn't his money people she wanted her, but everyone was there wanted to be there man and everyone there was having a great time. And like I said, especially with entertainment aspect people really into everything the DJ was doing the dance troops.

It was just it was a cool fun experience.

Only downside was, of course, like a sick Candace Parker did not squish his course implying well.

Real dark sky waxed by 20 but we free T-shirts and we are joining the show is going to hang out right here on the couch and go known for Moneyball. Of course, is a great golfer dear friend Stephen Bishop joining the show and studio Ben Lyons and for rich on the rich eyes and show redlines and for rich. This is the rich eyes and show when I met Bennett Miller on my first audition here. You know that they asked me about my baseball background and I told him you and I played in college I played professionally, but more importantly I know David and I know him well.

So there's nobody on earth more prepared to play this role to me unless you get David which clearly are not a doer else I wouldn't be here. So the second audition. Bennett says have you told David you're up for the role as I'm not telling them anything until I book it. And so after the fourth audition, I finally booked it and got to tell David and then the rest is history. And thank God he liked what I did and were still close. We play golf all the time and you know Dave is no Dave you're watching loving man. Thank you for everything in life. I love always in Hollywood.

It's the person who plays the role was destined to play the role that you get the right actor for the right role is the way it should be you that's there's no one else on earth. You should played David Justice in that movie. Besides you when you're doing scenes with Brad Pitt in that movie the big moment for you right in your career. The day before the night before little nervous to do anything all different height. What you learn from a day like that as an actor. Well, leading up to that I have been fortunate to work with some Oscar winners already.

Jamie Foxx, Billy Bob Thornton and some some very high-end actor so I was prepared in that regard, but it was Brad and Brad was kinda like my my acting got I wanted to emulate his career. So you know I was nervous. Fortunately, I was in my comfort zone.

I was on a baseball field and I was in a baseball uniform with a bat in my hands and so if there was any way that I was going to be okay with it. It was going to be in that context and forcefully. Brad was such a great guy. We did the cage seen and were hitting him hitting, reducing it's just me, Brad, and the director for rehearsal and director Bennett says: rehearsal walks when Brad looks at me with me up and down goes you got some skills don't you and he walked away and left me in the cage along with nobody to with that hanging a mic and you know he continued to give me a lot of praise as he was very generous and is a great guy.

So it's been amazing to see your career after them because I feel like then all of a sudden big directors are calling certain on TV shows in a consistent way door started to open and I cross prosody like a golf course in the Dominican Republic. My guys guys don't graze up the David Ortiz challenger.

You know the game of golf is now really paired nicely with your Hollywood career and I feel like you're playing with a lot of actors you host your own charity tournaments like you do a lot with the game of golf. So how does Hollywood and golf mix in your world. Well, I mean, there's so many actors and entertainers that play golf and I have been playing since I was 14 years old. My dad was a golfer taught me how to play.

So when I wasn't playing baseball. I was playing golf and you know I playing in the tournament like the David Ortiz tournament and and and other celebrity tournaments. I really enjoyed it and I like the fact that I was you know that they were doing it for charity of a really good causes. So I decided to try one of my own and take the best elements of all of the tournaments that I played in and put them into one tournament and make it my own and I've been in.

I was fortunate to have some of the greatest athletes and entertainers come out to my tournament.

Barry bonds played in my tournament Sugar Ray Leonard played in my tournament.Dennis Hayes Bert just so many names Byron Scott Jermaine dye Ben Lyons is not like that just doesn't belong here, but it's you know there's a huge actor contingent that plays golf so it's it's really cool to be able to bond with some of these guys over and over four hour period of a game of golf. I play with Stan barrette from SportsCenter every week we play Wednesday morning every week without fail this one of us is out of town so it's it's it's amazing to be able to combine the two and just continue to play a sport that I love and have the competitive things still there.

Stephen Bishop joining us in studio Ben Lyons in for rich on the rich eyes and show the something I love in my life. It's worlds colliding.

It's when different people from different parts of your life come together, or people might not know of each other. They get a chance to meet each other. I reference a round of golf. You and I had the privilege of playing often. I brought my friend Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series you brought your friend Jim Brown is a graceful and I don't think Jim or Tom knew the other one was right as you and are sure to sit in the back of the tee box watching them tell stories about going out and partying in London and just cracking up either one knows who the other one riser ready do it. Always Tom know about American football and what is Jim Brown know about slithering house. No, this is really weird relationship with Jim Brown procedures are so casual yet Jim to become today. What Jim Brown's going to get you know I met Jim at the driving range over Whitsett and you know I happen to be hitting the stall next to him and you.

Jim's a great guy and he's he's really cerebral guy very very intelligent worldly and you know we started talking about golf and he just asked me how you want to come out and play at my course and I like absolutely. I mean just the thrill of playing golf with Jim Brown was one thing but then we became really close friends. We would play and then we would have lunch or breakfast. After you ask play early and we would just sit there and talk for hours and he would tell me stories about the 60s and 70s and things like that and like some of the experiences in some of the people that he met not athletes but politicians and will and you know worldly people and I just learned so much from Jim and we we for such a tight relationship that one day I was going to be in San Francisco for the Super Bowl just to be at the Super Bowl. I was hosting a party or something, and his his beautiful wife Monique called me and asked me if I would MC his birthday party because they're the MC that they had fell out somehow and I was like I had just gotten off the plane and had no plans to do and she called right when I was on my way to my buddies house so I stay with. I was like, absolutely. And it was just such an honor to be even considered for that kind of thing for such an icon and then to be able to do it was fantastic and Jim know he is been a really big influence on my activism and in some of the things that I do use my platform for just seeing how he's done things in his life and his career has inspired me to do something in addition to your work on the big screen. We seen you pop up on TV shows either a despot or in a consistent Royce like being Mary Jane was are a roll and a show and being with Gabby describe change things for you or provided some consistency at a time when as an actor. You know you're always looking for the next job but being a part of that show what you think I did in your career and you look back on what I was my first job as a series regular and that's a huge step for any actor being a guest on the coast. Are you working your way up to having your own show. Being a regular so that was usually instrumental in my my development as an actor having to be there regularly and learn learn lines and scenes overnight instead of a week and 1/2 before where I can fully prepare for know I had to learn how to really had to expand my chops and working with Gabrielle.

She such a professional. I mean this woman is always so prepared and and was so on point with everything everything that she did and she was already a big star.

So I made me up my game and you know coming from a sports background. I was all already, regimented, but this was something was like okay there is no room for error here because not because she said that because I didn't want to hold her back or embarrass myself in front of her so it it really made me learn how to prepare the night before show up never flub a line and and you know I said it was huge in my development because the Bill Belichick approach.

Do your job comes work to do your job. Know your lines don't bump into the furniture and let's go home and then we can all go live our lives right think that something that we can learn whether it's from Hollywood actors refer athletes or whatever it is you do do your job, come the work be preparing to move and when you do it like that.

People start to trust you they start to like working with you because you are acting days can be long if if people are taking 1015 takes to get a scene and we could be there for $15. I got I got, you know, afternoon tea time tarantulas can be like six hours. I and so you know, I was able to fortunately like I said bring my a game and you'll make days shorter for her. You know it. It just was.

It was a great experience that can never be a series regular on a show with Gabby unions. I would just want to hang out the way the whole time I drink wine is hang out with them on Instagram wearing lights is the most ridiculous product outfit. This funny, I never met him.

He never was on set will spend doing stay home for my sister Ashley married Scott Merritt, the guy who played center at Marquette when Blaine was there. Following the holy Marquette team, including the coach was at the wedding, but the way wasn't able to make it. He was in China doing the shoe thing or something like that is Steve Novak doing the funky chicken on the open championship going on in the fact that you're here on the couch chatting with me about your career really means a lot means how much love TJX.

I know you be glued to wash golf. Trust me, I was watching the golf getting ready. I was who are your golfers were the guys route forward. You have an emotional connection to watch the open champion will obviously Tiger Woods you know he was so huge for the game and today he is clearly not make the cut. So he's walking up 18 him weeping up the fairly weeping and the entire gallery is just goings crazy standing ovation. You know it's you. Tiger has been so instrumental from so many people getting into the game of golf and really embracing people that wouldn't have otherwise. Without seeing somebody that looked like them excelling at the sport so he is obviously my number one favorite golfer of all time and then I've got other people like you know Ricky Fowler is a friend of mine who I met at a golf tournament like a mate. You Dustin Johnson is a guy that I like: how was somebody that required TJX to help them learn how to play golf and there is going, Glendale Bishop, I'm sure I should still remove: how are you. You don't buy out because I think of a golf club wrong link so I remember being surrounded but I don't yet know you know there's there's some guy Tommy Fleetwood is a guy that I like watching the game is expanding so much and there's so many guys give a shout to Josh Matt's a guy who's a young Pro that I play with on a regular basis who holds the core course record at my club denied. He's going to be somebody I think is going to make the make the tour for like every golf course here in Los Angeles there some type of rumor like Dustin Johnson hit a drive over those trees, or he cut it around yesterday. We are on the TI rustic and you Dustin Chuck 40 here something yields the course record rustic right yeah I hear that the two southbound gate just Dustin sitting on the to like on the grain from the TI stuff like that right right greatest pleasure point while probably Steve Pate because I think he may be the only tool professional that I've actually played a full round with we played a match play around where you know it was just me and him we had a three.

1/3 guy, but he pulled out so he said he will play matchplay for whatever money we might have jurisdiction and I actually got to play a match play around with this PGA professional and he doesn't play my course that much. I played all the time so we go into nine small square in all my holy moly and you know I think you know a 25 footer for par you know and he sinks the 15 footer for birdie to win the that the front and then you know just pulls away from me on the back, but that was that was a great experience all signs and losses failed actually try to push and see how far I can go. Never just a guy. This is for playing a charity game. Once Ryan Hollins was was it was like to get posted up by an NBA center Mike sure you know Mike you up out of the ground. Yeah, you know, yeah, I think that's a good Ricky Ricky's been you know he's been there but I actually haven't got a chance to play around with them so, but there's been some really good golfers that I have play Royce Clayton is a fantastic offer. I like a said Josh Matz, Byron Scott, I just play with him last week. He's a really good golfer that a pro athlete to then find golf and you know after their professional career. Whatever sport they're playing the approach you with that same intensity. Scottie Pippen is another he's a member of my club we used to play with Stan and I we have meant this was the greatest force Stan barrette, David Justice, Scottie Pippen and myself for one summer.

We played every Wednesday morning with that group and it was amazing. The competitive juices that these guys still have David from you. His huge major league career.

Scotty obviously Scotty. I mean we would go at it and we were there. There was no golf is a gentleman sport, but when you get guys that are this competitive on the distal etiquette but there grinding mean it's it's 100° out and there's guys out there grinding over pots walking around reading from both sides and you know it's just it's it's so much fun to be a month you know monks that kinda caliber of athlete and see them bring their major league or in my intensity and mentality to the to the golf course is just so much fun to watch. If your director out there for film or television and Stephen says yes to your project. That means she really loves your project is. That means you can be away from the golf course. That's the challenge.

I would imagine that decision.

The career records will as we wrap up your we have next year. A bunch of stuff coming out. I see on IMDb but I know you actually really like doing it because it means you had to be away from playing golf yeah away from playing golf away from my kids you know I just actually got back from shooting around the world, which is a show that I'm a series regular on now and I was gone for two months and came back with no putting stroke of the I've been leaving everything short since I got back from New York. I don't know what happened that terminal list is out right now with Chris Pratt did a movie called Hail Mary which is coming out of her getting back together David Justice in Hatteberg. I actually reach out to Chris Pratt. He executive produce that and you know through me yell you up on that gave me. You know, give me an opportunity to come in and was fortunate enough to book that role and then another one called tier 1 with Demetri ship Junior the guy who played Tupac in the two-part movie and try to produce some things my own and you know do some entrepreneurial things got a coffee brand you know got a vodka line, you know, just trying to try to make everything happen. Casual TJ Hodgson half talk to line up a scratch golfer shows you know soon.

I think like loving right now.

Can I give a shout to my daughter, Charlie. She's sick. It's nothing terrible, but she has been kept from school so all just want Charlie daddy loves you and thinking about you.

Get well soon baby okay send love to Charlie everybody watching, listening, Stephen Bishop hanging out here in the studio we got celebrity birthdays when we come back final segment of the week you I have golf course. I seem to hang out for a little bit been lines in studio final segment of the week coming up next. The state of the Nick Shelley I went back to the show on Friday been lines in for Rich on the rich eyes and show hanging out with my buddy Stephen Bishop in studio got some celebrity birthdays were you recently at the dodger game is yeah you know I'd want to play with Jerry Hairston and he does the pregame show him know Martin Hartung do the pregame show for the Dodgers and they had me on the promote terminal list and this this and that you guys have the greatest job second to like being a big league ballplayer. My career is my last day doing the show.

So yeah, exactly. This is a great job on Monday get to sit around and talk and send and just your current events and just things that you really are into and and and be able to make a living doing that is such a blessing in it so it just looks like it's so much fun.

My dad was a sportscaster when I was young, so I'll I've had an affinity for this this environment for a very very long time. Yes. Have a good time doing this confirmed does not suck for jobs that have something. This is not working overnight at target.

So this is much better. Yeah, that's one of the reasons I wanted to give a shout out to my daughter is because when I was a little kid, my dad did that for me from the sports desk to me and so it's kind of like full circle shall have that forever. Very cool.

Frankly, I get a copy of that you click the link around here somewhere.

Make it out to do some VCRs and those special group speak movie did the run down and you start with the rock was like what was he like back in those days in his career really was starting the to really take off. He was a great guy you know it was funny that seeing that you're talking about were come to take my break the very beginning of the rundown.

If you've never seen it has a ring and rhymes to take my Sims ring and I know three drinks in his face. Then he proceeds to wipe the floor with me. But while we were shooting that the first two or three takes of the drink throwing in the face. I missed I use the rock. I got through it over his shoulder.

You know I mean lighting one hit over the shoulder. One went over his shoulder. We cut liens and he says listen, I really appreciate the respect but I really need to humiliate me in this, and gave me full license to really get into that character make it happen.

All okay let's say what's wrong with the next take bow right in the face. The next bout I the faith, so he was so cool and know he was already a huge star for wrestling but in the acting. This was his first major role. I believe, and you know I actually audition Peterborough brought me into the trailer to audition for this role instead of two audition castings to your whatever and I'm ready I'm reading and reading is okay. I'm ready, looks outside okay is ready and in walks the rock. So now I'm auditioning opposite him in a small trailer trailer yeah and after the audition was.

He calls me says, listen first of all you are the best actor. Second of all you are the only guy that came into the trailer and didn't crumble when the rock walked in. This is why you're getting this part so that that was my first big job that was my first major studio movie and the first of six projects with Peter and also bird. Thank you again for everything you've done for me in my career without you my career would not of blossoms. I will never forget you. Thank you so amazing watching film CJ right and it's one scene in a movie can change somebody's life and career in trajectory and you're watching a movie and it's just another scene in the movie, but you don't realize behind the scenes. There's a guy with psychologist and changed after the rock know it's a craft show.

Pete Berg was here a few years ago when I was in the back talking to him I brought up the name and he just lit up and was very complementary of you so awesome you guys to have that Cameron Crowe Eric Stoltz thing.

We kinda just to put you on a lot of the stuff and I think that's stupid yeah I know he you know that was the day. Also that I learned that I do not need to be doing my own stunts and when I do do them, which I force them to let me do a Moneyball when I do do them.

I need to take advantage of the pads that they offered was when I was getting what I was doing that scene where he was hitting me with the turntable and I had the flopped face first on the wood floor at that nightclub. The first three takes that I don't need knee pads and elbow pads and then I come up with floor burns on the pads it was learning for not just career to know crap kicked out of him by the rock.
