I used to have those Jordan's when I when I played in high school when you break and backwards break and black.

I thought we get into training camp a little bit hard knocks aired last night.

The Detroit Lions with head coach Dan Campbell which will will delve into his his opening monologue on the show last night but since it is kind of the dog days of training camp right getting right right to the first part of you know preseason game start Thursday night for most teams, of course, the Hall of Fame game was a week ago, but you know I want to kind of talk about what training camp was like for me when I was in college.

It was brutal because it was three days right.

We have to today's practice were delivered to have three hour-long practices in the evening we have a special teams practice and I was a holder so I was had to go be part of the special-teams practice to so it was just brutal course this day and age things have changed immensely. We have Dave Aranda on a little bit later here to discuss what what their training camp is going into his third season as head coach of the Baylor Bears but even in the NFL right the CBA that is been negotiated. They've negotiated down to three preseason games as well.

As a limited amount of hitting right you. I don't think even allowed to hit or put pads are or hit the NFL level and select the seventh practice or so. Now right so it's it's interesting it really is my rookie year and sit in San Diego. I hadn't signed my contract yet.

So I was a holdout. Of course there was no rookie salary At the time. So, your agent was incredibly important in negotiating a deal and his process Leigh Steinberg. It was my agent at the time his process with with San Diego was that I was draft pick one be. We were one a and 1B either one of us could've gone. Number one, so therefore he was going negotiate an in-kind for the highest contract ever and it shouldn't be a huge discrepancy between Peyton Manning's and mine, and that's what he did and at the time that I signed it was the highest I think contract ever in NFL history or lease for a rookie. I can't remember what it was I might've been of all time. Not I got eclipsed about two days later when Peyton Manning signed this for about another $250,000 more for a moment that was it and I wasn't able to go to training camp like my agent said you to stay home. Let us get this done. The only leverage you have right now is holding outlets. Let's get that get negotiated so I was going stir crazy relevant in this new house in La Jolla there in San Diego watching the news of of practice and things like that and I wasn't there and I never ever in my life like not been to a fall Before so I'm like the turn of the best housekeeper you can imagine, I clean my house like a million times is running around ragged like what's going on and I almost went to camp just like told my agent, I just go and I want to practice. I want to play, let's go finally gives me the call about the morning of the second day of training camp. I show up and it is a circus everybody right there is a helicopter flying over the top of of the of the practice facility. We were at their La Jolla. They had everything ready for me.

I walked out. The media was just everywhere and stand. There's a picture that was on the front page of the San Diego Union Tribune of me around a gaggle of reporters like just consumed by it from the backside with my name on my jersey and and I can only imagine my teammates watching this play out right in.

That's why I think when the rookie contract on the rookie salary Came in the interplay. Can you imagine a guy was never done a thing in the NFL. Not one snap. Not one. Anything walks onto the football field.

With that kind of hoopla with the likes of junior sale Rodney Harrison Aaron Taylor new offense of lineman with us and he walks onto the field is the highest-paid player on your team. I mean it it it can't feel great. You you you are hoping for the best because it means bigger contracts for you. Assuming we down the line, but in that moment, you got a look at the kid. The 21-year-old kid I'm after 2222-year-old kid at the time, walk out of the field and then already be on this pedestal and having done nothing. And that's where I was. But the funny thing about it was.

I thought I deserved it. Like I this is exactly where I'm supposed to be to do exactly what I did in college. This is again to be a problem. You know, our first meeting that I had coach Gilbride at the time Kevin Gilbride wasn't really you know a gung ho, you know, screaming and yelling type of coach he was a coach that was very confrontational. Right he expected things done his way and he had a bit of a struggle of the year. The year before but this was supposed to be something that could jumpstart everything in a new quarterback, a big physical quarterback in the in the vein of Warren Moon to to take his offense to the next level right and so when we went into practice it. It was kind of like that right.

I loved every minute of it. I love that I love that it was all football like there was no worries about class coming up or anything like that you were in the film room like my quarterback coach was June Jones and him and I spent every waking minute off the field in that film room right.

I think sometimes I get labeled as a guy that didn't work hard right and that's kind of a caricature of me. You go back to that early camp in June. Jones is speaking glowingly about how much time and effort on putting in to being the starting quarterback wanting to be the starting quarterback in the film and film was never an issue for me. I mean I would fall asleep in my head coaches office in college and you get the wake me up in the morning with the blue screen upon the waters, I fell asleep watching film in his office right that that was never the case was all about how I dealt with failure. That was that was where my downfall was incredibly talented worked hard and now a few weeks in the camp after my performances in early, early preseason games. I was named the starter right it was everything I wanted. There was nothing that was going to hold me back from being the starter now should I been the starter here. One, probably not.

Not because I didn't earn it. But just mentally maturity.

All the things that come with being an NFL quarterback completely not ready. But I there was nothing to stop me from being that was like the competition that made me who I was. What I'm supposed to be if I wasn't. That would've been a knock on right. That would've been something something's wrong with him. How does he not the starter right and so once that was announced as you guys know there's a lot of rookie hazing, especially for for the first first-round draft picks and you know they were taking guys after practice and taping them to the to the goalposts you note dumping Gatorade Basson which ideas kind of endearing Aminah. I don't know about another grown man hauling me to a spot and taping me up is something I I would be okay with that. I mean it was outside of that form right outside that form, but it self. It was it was it was team camaraderie all those things right. Well one night hours watching film and junior sale. The leader of that team. The leader of the defense.

He walks into the film room there and he says baby boy is what was and from retirees.

II will. I liked it. I mean I was pretty cool that the greatest players of all time. That is Radiohead baby boy were not to take the this week but you can you can take the defense out to dinner and I said well, I'd like I can't. I can spend the time away. I got up I got a watch film here.

Here's my credit card.

Is there some trust there right or SunTrust header so I gave them my credit card and he went with the defense and they went out and had a heckuva time I heard that some of the defense geyser showed up to 10 minutes walked in and asked for a couple bottles of Crist all in and out they went. I think the bill ultimately was around $5000 or just just above that I sent to Ben and I got is a way higher tribal don't forget back in 1999 through 1998. It was said it was a different monster. Things were no I don't think we had that $50,000 bill Dez Bryant talks about head that had come around.

So this was. And also I felt like it was.

I felt like it endeared me to the team. I felt like I was part of the team that's not only was I doing something productive by watching film in the film room but now I was I was given it to be a part of the defense.

I don't I don't care met when the bill came back. I'm of the first email $5000 like the most I've ever spent in my life on anything I don't I don't know. I don't know hundred bucks in the air Jordans you know I my parents got there.

George writes out. I don't remember having spent any money.

Up to that point on anything so it was shocking. You know, but I was like okay okay I mean and I just got $31 million. I guess $5000 is okay so how is perspective and how you look at but I love that it was I love what we were going a little retraining and we went out to practice a couple days later I threw I threw up pick and I was running it down and junior, cut me off and kinda lit me up in the practice right and I got up and when Adam and Michael Lyman love that love that there quarterback got up went after the defense in their well it got reported it got reported by everybody that I was upset that Junior had gone into my room stolen my credit card and paid for the dinner. That was the story that the Union Tribune went high that I went and complained to management and this this story hung in the air forever and I never commented on it because I just thought it was so foolish Junior didn't either.

And then years and years and years later it continued to become this this fable that just got read regurgitated in more and more about about in just a few months ago on a podcast. I was talking about how Garrett Wilson was talking about how he didn't want to. He wasn't gonna dish out a bunch of money for a hazing thing like that you can do whatever the hell you want. Maybe I spent $100,000.

My my money but my rookie year starts and slid brought up the junior sale Riley story and said yeah I can totally backfire like junior sale stole Riley's credit card and Ryan was so pasty went to management and then went after him and practice, and was caught a fish this big story yesterday just kept going on.

So finally I think I was on the Pat McAfee show and I just I told the story that's that's the truest artist he was. He came in and asked before I was to be the starting quarterback.

They went on spend it on the defense that was it. There's no story to it, but I think because of how I imploded the chaos that ensued with me. I think it just became this bigger your story. The fable of my first training camp yeah I just found an article from 2013 that has a former Chargers exact telling SI the year before about how junior and taken your credit card and you complained about a bath third and then Junior what you up and practice this a way of saying like, don't go to manage that rumor has been going around for a long time and that's like, what, 15 years after it supposedly happened. It also same thing is like Bill Polian going on the radio talking about the draft experience with me in saying that I showed up to the meeting and said I I will I will be at the many Days I'll be in Vegas with my with my buddies right right. That was a story that had long heard right and I just I just couldn't make things get this fish. This fish was this big business to this big telephone man.

You know it's it's it's crazy it's crazy what camp looks like hard knocks didn't exist. While one of hard knocks would exist that you're with us that first drink of it. We've been pretty boring to be honest with you, but what he saw last night right person you came in. This brought me. I want to know if you guys at CNET.

The opening of hard knocks.

Last night Dan Campbell, who is been a quote machine is been a quote machine early on in his career went on a bit of a diatribe and there was so many met at the beginning I was fired up like I was ready to roll and then it started time teetering off course with mixed metaphors in the shallows and on the beach and then the abyss and then a tunnel in the tunnel with no light to when and then there is light and then a freight train because your Metallica Sauget were treading water to bury you up in the water. Are we on the land. I'm very confused. Some of the players look confused.

I was fixing the players looking for is now ill Michael juveniles but Emma you can edit anything you want to put together to make it you know all yeah you know any reality show. You can take lightly the consideration this is a question for listeners out there right if you want to give us a call 844204 Rich 844-204-7424 is that kind of coaching style is not a motivating factor for you with that motivate you to get the best out of you, this team has been to the playoffs since Jim Caldwell was at coaching is what Jim called my quarterback coach in Tampa. He is the polar opposite of Dan Campbell. He came up in the 20 Dynegy era of of coaching and how to how to handle yourself sometimes you wonder with kids that are actually called kids young men who were 22 to 28 years old. No delete Sina coach fired up like that. She watched some of the pregame stuff member rate Ray Lewis back in the day, and those huddles were screaming at people and barking and getting people fired up. Sometimes I think that craziness is what guys need.

I don't oversleep, how you open camp with it. That's a motivating factor in all is because it's good about to be a long, long time, but love to hear what people think around what Dan Campbell does is it something that would motivate you would have you run through a brick wall because I think his team in the moment when there is one their own. Oh, I think it feels like it. Right now there's a there's a there's a height to Detroit. Samantha had her sleeper potential. I feel like pursue division word the Chicago Bears look like they're sliding down a mudslide and in there's no stopping in any way shape. I found the bottom five team in window what Minnesota is going to look like we all assume Green Bay's going to be the kind of there yet. I was kind of my thought was watching the episode we all kinda played not to your level.

But TJ and I played high school and in some a little bit in college and it's just like I did that. Do it for you as a player with this type of Dan Campbell, is very passionate. I don't believe it's phony. Watching the episode.

I really been just do what he would talk about last year. I believe that's really who is he played in the league. He was a Bill Parcells guy down in Miami and then learned under Sean Payton in New Orleans as I really believe that's who he is up as a man and as a as a coach, but I Jim just wondering like with that. Do it for you. That typo just like all these mixing metaphors screaming and then right in your face that I love you. Bad thing about you guys, 24, seven, you know, I don't know, just maybe not.

Maybe a 22 that would've done it for me, but at 42. I'm just like the meal, only coming in for your you're not going to nearly 4232, bro, I know just for the record, I did not play in high school I was 56 in 10th grade, so that you was playing high school for time to talk you up. I know, but I want to lie to the folks out there was some little dude like them all day accountability. I like it or not Robin off.

I just grew as I got older, give us a call thrill like what this coaching style works for you.

What is your coaching style. If you would you run through wall for a guy that is in your ear constantly about his motivational things. I love you.

You be better this is that what is tirade that will percent better tomorrow or is it someone like Bella Jack or Kyle Shanahan to someone is gonna more not subdued but just like you were on a different level and were going to come talking to you in a regular normal voice.

Most Mike Price, who to this day is the greatest coach that I ever played for that sandbox up like a 20 Dynegy Kevin Gilbride Jim Jones a play for some some great coaches but he just the way he motivated was pretty kind mood in silence and and then just boom he there's an explosion like all of a sudden Tommy also he hires somebody to write out on the practice field on on a horse warplane. The USC Trojans that week right in the Psalms claim and then were about to play Oregon or Kauai can remember that year and were all the dining hall pregame and were just kind of you know what kind of you're getting ready risk quiet. Also in this you know 55-year-old man jumps up on the table starts screaming I'm so excited by the pointer sister but I'm 21 years old and I like this is this is really cool.

This is motivating this is interesting so maybe you're right. Maybe the 2228-year-old guys are buying into it wanted. But you and me at 42 and 46 are going. Oh my God, please stop your ranges. Now you're not competitive athletes evaluate out of here. I just said but I just want my next you are. You're a homerun king only has. I'm just saying we should ask Tom Brady yet, but he's an anomaly like he's one thing he is our age yeah but there's one guy that you can go to ask this question of what you speak like this is that I'm just wondering like of Rich came in here and before the season started gave this Dan Campbell type when you roll your eyes and I really like what you doing.

Everett said that stuff. I lack if you're talking about tunnels in the abyss that the trains coming at you like what you have and then go have fun. I love that is my favorite part Dan Campbell talk about all this bleak dark crap. No, like let's go have fun. There is no light what is like let's go have fun and it certainly is right. If there is light. It's a free training. Let's go have fun.

How old I don't care if you have one finger and have to but she does not know I was half of my three finger retailers. I have three lame ass cheek and three toes and I will beat your bleak vision is where I want. So like this is a guy just showed up with this year with a blotchy return. Just remember half however you feel now it's the best are going to feel like there's truth now on that without question marks like if you would like your 85% that you're not 100% whomever the sale of any fire used there. There is a amazing there's a former player in that aspect of things. And lately, and showed how many former players they have at school and I coaches handle over 90 years of playing experience on this coaching staff Mark Pennell course like 19 years at Mark Purnell, Aaron Glenn do Staley like a lot a glut of good former players who play a why can Randall L, it's one window eligible champ at any luck, the lions are fine like hard knocks, sucks you back in it for me. The hard knocks debut is really the kickoff to the NFL season. It certainly look forward to each week. It's up to talk about the next day and so look up just glides back.

We didn't see any sprinkler taking last night Mike, which is a little disappointing but is nice to hear Lee voice and then then the music like I can't get enough of the Harley Schreiber icon is I, iconic, I would love to.

I would love for him just to do, like a voiceover something for the day for driving my car would be great rightly decided to make a left when we got up, he decided to make a left turn when he should've gone right as we all know another person all my life and Dana ran is to join us here in a few minutes. What about everybody to the rich eyes, and shall rightly fear filling in for Rich as he is off this week before getting kick started with the NFL season this next guest is a big fan of had the privilege of cover his team a few times a year ago and then had the great honor of being asked to come and speak to that group of young men on campus back in June for the Baylor Bears head coach Dave Aranda joins the show now here on the Mercedes-Benz bands phone line so we don't do a great good to hear from you dog days of summer right Starting. How has how is the introduction to the new season come about. I know you were wielding culture hard this off-season. Hausa gone so far good and bad week at 9 o'clock and 9:00 PM practice tonight. We got again on her schedule to be at that time and sort get used to being under the light and old.

It is been good helmets and show those practices have been real efficient notes been been executed. The energy is really really good and so excited about it. Not how we push through these next couple of days.

Though it really the identity of the team.

You know how we handle the task within the task now and so will see. I feel like the momentum in the want to, and all that sway their the expectations on your team right didn't really exist a year ago after your first year and then the way you came out and played all how you went about your business to ultimately get to the big 12 championship.

To become big 12 champions. What has that done for the not only for the coaching staff. But for these players in terms of confidence and expectation on a year that were about to tread into last. It showed you don't have to be in a whole went out to look at all of it a certain way just to win. I don't know you know I think some times those things get on your phone and get viral and maybe you when you come up you can coach been around other players have really been about those things and so after a while it becomes the path, and so I'm hopeful that you know I think last year there was a lot of speaking kind of a certain way to since it's football as a platform to show the world yours person and most important thing is the person you become.

As a result know and and and and I think is probably difficult for Lagos to hear and I think this year is a better understanding now. I think for some of the freshman guys are coming in and having heard in all recruiting season and then seen the team might be even stronger with them. You know, I think some of the guys on the team discussed feeling that this is my turn now you know I'm in the I'm in the field of weeds and wheat and I have to build to maneuver through all of this and hold the attention of it. I think that's way that sway Laura and so I can say these next couple days are to be good to cut us push to become who we need to be where I had Baylor football coach Dave Aranda went where did you get your coaching philosophy from ice. I found it very interesting and covering to your James Laster getting on the resumes with you and hearing your way you spoke and talked and and now getting to know you better.

It it it it really is kind of your identity where where did you where did you find that philosophy over all the years of coaching and getting to where you're at? I don't know.

I was always when I was growing up I was. I'm not really into reading her books are education, I guess that income included high school years and was a junior college California and then started to come and get into school and became so much easier when you read your book old and became a philosophy major and then started to study religion and faith and reason. Sports psychology always struck me that there is always interesting and some no I'm always looking at Mike whether the thing were really doing overdoing what were doing and interest only anchors folks can be very direct and very. Precisely direction and command and and people can just roll with it when they hear it from me, like what you really say licensing to go way deep into it and but I feel like when you Go down but then when you come back up and it can be way strong connections and this is kind of people that come for right this is something that is a natural natural feeling that you're going through state life.

This is reflected in this movie and this is reflected in an rightly/this is Yuko from second awakening word count. This is all about me.

This is just it's me versus the world to the other side of that is that there's a connection with everybody man I learned from everybody in this competitors there's empathy for everybody from fermented from other folks and suspicious way strong.

It takes a while for guys to get there. Can they just want to fight it, and then in the process of that when you're playing ball and fight everything you meant you, methanol point the D'Arco college football right now in terms where it's going.

Going to the big bag of money switching conferences and stuff like that your name was floated around a ton a year ago after the success about a another job. Here are possibly there. I think you kind of are flying in the face of what people expect to be culture what you found a home in Waco. You love what Baylor person presents to you is as a man in into the universe to come speak to that a little bit and why you, why you chose Baylor and NY you're committed to make it the best possible place you can imagine, thank you. Baylor helps me become a better man, your so much of it is it's it's interesting. This is great about getting to visit with you and hearing your story and our guys still talk about your talk so much of it is making your self fully available to people and really being seen. It just takes a lot of courage to do that and you know you have to know who you are and then you have to get out your own way, those things are very hard to so our jobs are our professions and everything are almost you know they can be used to distract you and have you kinda played a game of older, they can be used for that transcendence you and so I feel that here and I think that that to me is way important and I don't know. I think like our guys are starting to have an understanding that early. I know what I'm talking and they don't understand my thing. I believe it and so I just feel at all. Well I can I can see from afar, and while in there that you need to feel at home in this team is is is raring to go on excited for before he gets out here. Let's talk a little football right you mean Jerry Bohannon did a heckuva job for a year ago Blake shaping steps into the into the big 12 championship in this off-season on the job and is now your quarterback can't talk to us about that a little bit and and just what you expect from this team this season so far for going into our day-to-day really good balance of run and pass. I think the ability with the wide zone just a prostyle packages to really force people to play with edges for safety get the box and equally affiliate.

I think in the league. What was it, maybe a couple years ago when the rancher cut coming up that Super Bowl game versus the patriots patriots quite like one and they didn't remain applicable safety gates they could Catch those old works now off the play action pass at the RAM to run into big play ability with interest Structure of the offense that we play and so to connect on those things and to quarters are playing.

Often, because the sink is yet to be in the corner playing off to protect that way to take advantage of the grass with just free access throws but be precise and connect all that stuff gives offense of the playability. I think your shadow later. With it you know I think Lakin is development is maturing as a leader you know we got it continued into run into the storm shelter season. It's really that we were running into one storm after another on the road, particularly in so for us to mature and take these days that we have become a rep that and had a hard net muscle.

I think the way important for the program is been good. I think offensively look at our front and interest. The depth that we have not come with all that they continue to be there for you is a confidence among team but there's also real strong hunger, our identity and this year, and this is us and so it's a good mix sounds like it sinks to taking the time hopefully I'll get out there and maybe get one your games again this year, but continued success and good luck on the season will appreciate you. Thank you. Thanks, Coach Dave Aranda Baylor head football coach in his third year winning his win the big 12 championship a year ago in a year were Texas and Oklahoma decide to vacate.

Couldn't of been a better thing for the big 12 conference to see a couple of their teams that were not part of that of leaving to go to the SEC I would come back will recap a little bit about a little bit about that and talk about some of the injuries that came out yesterday from Here on the rich eyes and show you listen to Riley here on the rich eyes and jumped on and back back everybody the rich eyes and show Ryan leaf here filling in for Rich out this week alongside TJ Jefferson Michael Dell to phone the ones and twos is Rotman a play in the hot corner today for us. As always, Dave Aranda, you know, we just had him on Baylor head football coach. If you all remember a year ago. Right around this time a little bit before the SEC shock the world with the moves by both Oklahoma and Texas in a couple years to the SEC out of the big 12, which at the moment.

Put the big 12 on life support.

What's that going to look like right they went out and found four other teams teams that one made the college football playoff in Cincinnati, Central Florida, Houston, and BYU was the four teams that they added to the mix when those two teams left. I think people still feel like it's a bit underwater but I I found the most important thing for them to do a year ago was to go out and compete in that conference and showcase that both Oklahoma and Texas are are not to be thought of right and that's what happened.

Local, state when I had one the best years in school history. Baylor did as well in your 200 Dave Aranda fall yes if any yes or no, Dave is see he was the defensive coordinator on that LSU national championship team that sent like after starters to the NFL in the first round right. He has an incredible job.

You know this was a perfect example how we started the show around Dan Campbell as kind of a in-your-face screamer you know metaphors biting kneecaps and three fingers in it and a butt cheek type mentality to what Dave Aranda sounds like right as a coach and be more night and day. But when I asked him the question around who disses who is he did his coaching philosophy from I heard him say before and it somebody that I play for it. It's really totally dodgy and so that The kind that makes sense right.

Tony was a bit of that way right just very faith-based was in the charge in to motivate, but rather do it in a note take you aside type away and I can tell you right now these Baylor Bears of respondent right to win it in a fashion which they did a year ago, making that stop on fourth down at the goal line to win the championship and then to spend some time on campus this summer to see how they're going about their business. The culture there has definitely changed and they are to be reckoned with now I want to go there schedule little bit. All you Baylor Bears fans out there yet. Ryan also the coaches poll came out two days ago, right where they have them play was number 10 number 10 so I mean coaches around the college landscape. See what Dave is done there is in his years run the football rightly run the football. They run play action and they played great defense and get turn over something that's just that's this the you know the ingredients needed for championship football.

Biggest thing for me 0M he talked about the road schedule is as brutal right at BYU in week two at Iowa State right we did Oklahoma State at home and scrape at West Virginia on a Thursday night in Morgantown, not Oklahoma at Texas. That's it. That's it.

That's a brutal stuff not a also brutal road schedule, but they were incredibly good on the road at home last year.

I expect them to do much of the same this year so speaking of that, the top 25. Can we put that together. I loved coming over that because there's some interesting aspects to this. In particular, one to start with the top 10 here right Alabama. Of course they get the most votes they should every single year 54 first-place votes. Ohio State with 5.Dr. Bielby close to the siding last day can be incredibly dangerous this year and they are loaded once again there their performance, the Rose Bowl's exceptional Georgia having offset whole team still comes in at three clubs in there looking for a rebound. Ironically enough, those four teams. The elite of the elite right Notre Dame tie-dye Michigan Michigan gets thrown up there that's Mr. rich eyes is pretty happy with their earlier start this year. Texas A&M, who apparently bought their entire team. Mr. the Utah Utes, not after I host the show on Friday, jumping on a plane flying to Salt Lake to be with the Utes for for a couple days there.

Nice picked to finish our pick to start the season eighth. Right now that's impressive to start that high because if they had a great year. Yesterday open up guys in the swamp who at Florida while the big nonconference matchup right Oklahoma even under Brent Venables after Lincoln Riley departure picked at nine and then Baylor's team. We just talked about a 10, I spotted the next 10 after that.

Okay, just at the top so the team I wanted to showcase I think is picked around Brockman.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but USC really got USC's 1515 right this for me is this. This tells you what kind of impact Lincoln Riley has right. The move he makes to go to USC. The transformation of the roster. Apparently 3030+ new players on the roster because the transfer portal that added the bullet and a cough award winner at wide receiver Jordan Addison Travis die best running back in the pack 12 comes from Oregon and heads to USC to get Caleb Williams's quarterback five star quarterback who we talk to Yogi Roth about yesterday and from Oklahoma and people assume that a team master that was for Nate for Nate without turnover with a new coaching staff because a Lincoln Riley and those things can now be back there. Back like Texas to select text in the first place vote who just saw that saying who you think that Sarkisian only think this is the baby saving that it because a claim in week two. Like no one, somebody thinks we we can't win this thing is funny and maybe you know you wonder of the eight people comes out here. I think next week or later in this week's old know little bit more. There, but I don't know why I have USC going eight and for this year. Okay which if you look at their schedule. I think people will walk away from ago you know that's what expectations are going to be through the roof for this football team so we'll see we'll see what we come back I will get back into the NFL and talk about training And the teams and divisions will be discussed here on the rich eyes and show on Ryan leaf filling in for Rich alright so we come back.

We do want to talk about the divisions that we were starting to dive into and today, particularly because we have Mary Kay Cabot on for the Cleveland Browns in the in the Cleveland plain dealer here in about 25 minutes or so. We want talk about the AFC North right incredible division.

Pittsburgh is never had a losing season under Mike Tomlin.

Cincinnati goes to the Super Bowl in your two with Jim Joe Burrell, the Lamar Jackson scenario in Baltimore.

Does he get the new contract. There's no way he plays on the fifth. Your option is your daddy I can't imagine why Woody why would you why would you put yourself in a situation right wouldn't do it if I was so and then you look at the Cleveland Browns with all the chaos that ensued.

This may be one of the most chaotic, but interesting divisions of football this year because of all the storylines that we just talked about Serena dive deep into that when we come back. Also Tyler done to join us for bills really beat writer has his own podcasting and go long TD at.com that he's done, but he falls the Buffalo Bills really really closely and I'm I'm interested to get his insight on you know what the offense looks like now that Brian Gables gone right how the coaching staff has addressed what went down at arrowhead Stadium in the divisional round of the playoffs. Those are two big questions I want answered there. And then it will begin our three working to discuss the live situation right. The injunction that the players were looking for the three players that were suing the PGA Tour to try to get access to playing the FedEx plate FedEx playoffs was denied yesterday and simply because of the amount of money they are being given by the the live to work. The judge ruled that they did not believe that these players would be hampered by not playing in the playoffs because the amount of money that they made essentially so they will not be involved. This will be ongoing.

Of course, this will be something that continues for some time on the legal side of things. Rex got Rex. Rex forward from the golf Channel.com writer from that to join us to talk about when we come back so are your listeners the rich eyes and show I'm Ryan leaf filling for Rich will be right back for the real story behind some of wrestling's biggest moments. It's something to wrestle with Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson to all-time high the phone as much of him as having a conversation where is Andre free of oceanography was number one because not even going back before you know Holcombe was a baby face Holt and Andres were able to go in headlines in New Orleans Superdome at Shea Stadium in Japan wherever they went. That was an attraction something to wrestle with Bruce Prichard listen wherever you get your podcast
