Former MLB pitcher-turned-doctor-turned-throwing guru Tom House tells Rich about the “circus atmosphere” at Atlanta in 1975 when he caught Hank Aaron’s 714th home run ball, says how Tom Brady having success will into his 40’s compares to the sustained career of dominance Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan, what it would take for the likes of Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes to have extended NFL careers, how long Shohei Ohtani can maintain his 2-way success, and reveals what advice he has for parents as they guide their kids along their athletic journeys.

In his first ‘4 Downs’ segment of the new NFL season Rich weighs in on Falcons rookie WR Drake London, what AJ Brown has brought to the Eagles’ offense, why you shouldn’t sleep on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ passing attack, and how Mike Tomlin could finally win Coach of the Year honors.

Rich reacts to Seahawks fans booing Broncos QB Russell Wilson in his return to Seattle, and to the Cleveland Browns’ misguided decision to put a giant Brownie the Elf mascot painting on their field at the 50-yard line.

I write back the from the range yelling March railing and is correct because it shows on the air in this hour we'll talk about Russell Wilson's return to Seattle. What we saw what we did not see report he handled the part of what we did not see which was him handling the final fourth with the team on the line if you miss that.

The list is 50 strong and more we say hello to our Odyssey listening audience as well. We had Jim Harbaugh, the head coach University of Michigan. Our number two and I turned my right here on this program and see for the first time guest in studio and eight year veteran of major league baseball. But the most respected throwing coach in major league baseball and the NFL Tom houses here on the rich eyes and sugar to see Tom the pleasure to be here pleasure to have you here before you get started proper gladly on townhouse what you told me earlier today go from and when I was in the Little League so this is early 90 I had the book that you had cowritten with Nolan Ryan about how to how to pitch in all the exercises and stretches and things to do grips on certain uncertain pitches like and I was kind of my guide because I was a picture back in the day and his allies not playing anymore so hard to go far to go.

I played iron college also really cool thing is is that that book is the number one selling pitching a manual in the history of pitching books and obviously it wasn't because of me. It was because it was Nolan Ryan's fastball is that we were talking about. So it was actually one of the better books and its from what I remember Ted Williams book on hitting in that book on pitching one into an faithful session times out.

You got a good one in this great loved and so on.

But you have it for him though I don't have a thing is probably somewhere in adults are in my mind. Okay. Very good. So in your eight year career. I got asked about the small before you get to the here and now. What's going on with you in your career and the people that you up in counseling. Is it true you call about Hank Aaron home run ball in Atlanta in January yet yes or you are in the bullpen was in the bullpen. Yeah, it was a base. It took a year to get to that point because he started chasing the record in 73 and it was a big to do that here. We were sneaking up on you know of a legend, and that 714 was the magic number and as it turned out on that given day. We drew straws to see where would be in the bullpen because the Atlanta bread bullpen and Fulton County Stadium was behind the left-field fence so I got the straw that put me out to left-center bus Was one that had dead center and as luck would have it, Henry hit it. I was standing there but talks but what a great catch. It was if I would've stood still, it would hit me in the four heads the magic they're leaving you drawing straws what Utah will run because the ball was to be worth a lot of money and I think by game time. The word I heard was 25 grand that I think Sammy Davis Junior had come through the clubhouse before the game started, and he wanted the ball in Henry to come out and do a show with him in Las Vegas and 25,000 was the number I heard.

And remember in 1974 men and Bigley sorry was 12,000. And obviously I was way toward that number. Then the other guys on the team but the bottom line was the good news was that the it was a highlight of my major league career. The bad news was that was the highlight of my mission, but so so Sammy Davis Junior were strolling through the clubhouse you have that it was a big to do. It was like a mini circus where we went wherever we went. In fact, it was the first time I saw a ballplayer that couldn't ride the bus with the team and walk in to the hotel we were on the road. Remember, it was. There were death threats was a lot of horse going around it at the bottom line is, it was the right guy hit the homerun in the right guy cut while you didn't sell it.

Did you did you really sell now and if you watch the film on it. I actually caught it and ran it is that's in my little fat legs would take me in home plate and there's pictures out there with me giving it to him why he was hugging his mother and to support put a perspective on I said here is Hank and he said thanks. You know if he knew I was the bottom line was that it was a big woman in my life and it was a friendship that lasted a long time and we always call me Tommy. And in what I'm telling the big lie.

It's actually true. Tom house here on the rich eyes and show what did you first hook up with Nolan Ryan, when did that happen when I was with the Texas Rangers. It was my third or fourth years of pitching coach and in the Rangers were the kind like the door massive American League at that time and they brought together Bobby Valentine and Tom Graber. Bobby was a field manager in time grieve with the general manager and they were very aggressive with new ideas and asking for whatever it took. So they went to they went to ownership, when Nolan became a free agent with the Astros and Bobby had played with Nolan when they were together in the Angels, and as it turned out, because we extended not just money offering, but allowed him for the first time his family could come to the ballpark travel within very similar to what Tom Brady is going through right now where inlet 45 fils got family issues at a 25-year-old doesn't. As luck would have it, Nolan shows up for what was supposed to be one year and ended up staying nine and he was a better picture in that timeframe, then any other time in his career. So now that you know you're working with major league baseball pictures for as long as you work with them and now NFL order box for as long as you worked with them.

Is there a similarity between Tom Brady and Nolan Ryan that you can put out there on the table because were seeing Brady do things in the NFL that we've never seen before and Nolan in many ways was that guy in major league baseball as well. She really set me up perfectly here. Also I do for living Tom, I know what you do for living. But I can I can so I can I can pictures well and when I handed just setting up for you to know I hit the crease between old school and new school and Nolan was the first test baby with all that the new research that we did with motion analysis with ground force production energy going into the arm. I wish we need to talk about shoulders with you guys to go too far on the side from all the Tom Brady and Nolan Ryan I'm letting you if you follow for basic and simple biomechanics. Functional strength, mental, emotional, management and nutrition, sleep for recovery. There's no reason an athlete can do at age 45, when he did at age 25, and we proved it with the Texas Rangers and six of the 10 pictures I had in that timeframe. Patient in their mid-40s. By the time I got around to Tom Brady walking by Bella checks office one time when we had been on the field on the football Bella checks called us in that. Okay tell me why I shouldn't trade Tom Brady at this time. I think Brady was 37, 36, and I just said well Bill, the research shows that if Tom does what he supposed to do all those four things I just mentioned what she does to know that the T there's no reason he shouldn't play until he is 45 and here we are.

So Brady what would you say listen to you all the way up until he was 42. That was the end of that. He still put numbers up in the know.

I know that but I'm just wondering so so Bella checks said okay what he really asked you why should my trade Tom Brady round because the prevailing in my generation, you were done as a picture at age 32, 33, we proved that that wasn't true because of what we had done with the Rangers and the carryover was that we got into football. I think George Blanda there were only two quarterbacks that were even productive into their 40 and so we just took what we learned in baseball and put it in front of the quarterbacks in quarterbacks. By the way are a lot easier to work with and pictures are set so I think they just have to be because of the volume of information they have to process in the timeframe that they have to do it in their quicker thinkers than most pictures.

And if you're quicker think you're usually a quicker letter going to Tom Brady first get on your radar screen timeouts when that happened I think 10 years ago. Now Drew Drew Bray's was our first elite quarterback where we actually helped him with his shoulder rehab and where he was never supposed to be able to throw again we fixed in charges going to the saints very much awesome okay and what we found out is that quarterbacks attorneys really a small little fraternity and we fixed Drew any started spreading the word that we kinda knew what we were doing you fixed it is going all aflame first ballot. I remember I had the easy job I did was sock.

He had to do all the work course but the bottom line is credibility with him gave us credibility with other quarterbacks and pretty soon the it grew into one of the companies I'm a part of called 3D QB and 3D QB right now probably deals with 25 or 30 of the collegiate quarterbacks JJ McCarthy from Michigan doing great work on him. Tom, great work.

It was it was easy.

It was very easy with him but that's how we grow into it, but Josh Allen so much about him talked about coming out to Wyoming not so accurate and you can't teach accuracy in the league that you're throwing motion is your throwing motion and so on and so forth. What work did you do with the guy right now is the odds on MVP favorite even though which is one game of the season. Well we have these metrics that are results of all the data in the research we've done and he fit all the metrics and what metrics can you think that mechanics and mechanical efficiency, functional strength, his ability to accelerate and decelerate muscles efficiently efficiently his capacity to make decisions. The zone that everyone talks but I'm sure you been in the zone in your job. I was in the zone maybe once or twice in nine years face when thinking is inversely proportionate to the stimulus of the environment. Josh was one of those guys that the crazier things got the, he became how you measure that Tom will measure, so that's really cool about what I like I said I hit the crease between old school and new school where in the old days you just kind had to guess in it. An experienced coach could have a feel for we actually have the instruments down*profile, whatever it might be true or we can tell you how a kid. Thanks you processes you learn to learn. You learn and you learn really learn to relearn you processes that typist what his personality is he a guy that can move the room is seen not to be able to help somebody in the huddle all the pieces that we had on Josh indicated even though he came from a small school that he would adjust not only physically but mentally to the game when she's proven and again I didn't have personal hands on him.

John Beck and Adam data with 3D QB at the initial go with him but but again, we've touched the whole letter quarterbacks in the last 10 year Tom house here on the rich doesn't show throwing gruel will get to the mousetrap in a second because I know that's a new venture for you.

You want get out there in front of the rich Johnson show audience and am thrilled that you are here so which young quarterback in the mid-20s right now. Do you think, I guess. What would you say all of them if they follow your principles can play as long as Brady, or is he really an outlier, meaning, homes, yet all these guys were just lighting it up, borrow Herbert, so on 1/2 gallons one about Lamar's another meaning it may take a unique personality to want to play to the 45 right. One of the things when when you've got 350 million guaranteed your motivation to play the game until your 45 might not be what it was for either a Nolan Ryan or a Tom Brady, but just pure numbers.

There is a bunch of mouth. The kid down the with the Chargers. He's one of those kids that Herbert Herbert could his physical makeup and his mental emotional makeup is one of those guys would should have no trouble if he wants to do plan to lease 45, homes rely homes. If he can learn to stay in the pocket a little bit. The more you run around me think about someone the size of TJ your ear your gatekeeper hair 63 run teacher in 63, natural 63 that's it.

Okay St. had 100 pounds extremely that's chasing around trying to tear your head off. It's a little different physically but if you could stay upright. There's no reason at all that Mohammed can play Louis or someone are the four principles once again hit it for me when he had fewer of a scout coach just looking at a quarterback or any athlete for that matter.

It's his biomechanical efficiency. How well does he moved doing a skill it's his functional strength. Does he have the accelerated accelerator decelerate her capacity to be balanced with large throwing totals or pitching totals.

What is his mental emotional makeup. Can you handle the stress and anxiety of being a profile guy.

Does it bother him when he gets booed by 40,000, and it didn't bother me.

I didn't hear my last name in Boston for three years in Boston for the house became a four letter word okay very gracefully went out fishing for the Sox number 29 Tom and then again we've learned more about recovery and the value is sure that's when ready to ease councils that all the time. Everything you read about him. He lives to that nth degree. So if you want to pay that price that's what he does and it's a price to pay what it is, especially when you've got family in kids growing up in all the pressures so yes it can be done, but it takes dedication and the one thing I for I don't allow me to share one thing I seen with the superstars that I run across. They have this inherent genetic predisposition to get better every day, every day of their life looking to get better by 1%, 2% that the 20% that people think you need but 1% better every day. There dedication to excellence is off the chart. What's the mousetrap the mustard ampicillin everything we just talked about everything we would just put on the table for your listeners to hear costs about 30,000 a weekend for the elite. What we are trying to do with mustard is to democratize all that the elite get put a cell phone in the hands of a mom or dad has a 12-year-old son or daughter have been able to film their movements or their skills center to the cloud and come back and get virtually the same analysis that the big boys get when they come to work with us over the weekend and is turning out to be one of the best things I've ever done.

I say me but were surrounded with a really got some great people in working with. We've actually got an app that is free or a mom or dad of a 12-year-old or 13-year-old get the same efficacy of information and instruction that are elite athletes. Bob got on downloading the app literally as soon as you leave the studio. I got an 11-year-old son that you start little travel ball when he picked up a ball of his left hand unlike jackpot elements I'd like you know Jamie Moore pitched a work 49's recording when you talk to other Nolan Ryan but we know you can do it with the average athlete to polyamine so and in 20 came home last night one of one of his colleagues on the fall ball team asked me but I guess as a catcher asked him to throw a curve and he said he through curve and I just a wolf on the second. Now hold on a second and I'm like I got explaining who you are and I'm I got a townhouse in the show tomorrow. You want to throw it out there for any parents who have kids that are throwing right now, boys, girls, what happy would you counsel for them. Okay, hard getting the mustard app you are.

After getting the mousetrap before or after we know in today's world that it's pitched too much. They don't throw enough so let your son throw anything, anytime, anywhere. Curveball was taboo when I was coming through the system.

We now know that throne properly. A curveball is the easiest fish on the arm get out here is contraindicated with. That's what science is all about. You can look at it.

Delivery is a thousand frames. Second, and you can wireless EMG the stresses that go on the arm when he does, but only to buy (they can throw a curveball a pistol. I can't walk nonchalantly if you can if you're left-handed and you could throw a curveball velocity is nice but it's not necessary.

So I think you Sandy Koufax told me there's good curveball hitters, but nobody can hit a good curveball and that's what carried me advice.

My fastball sucked, but I did have a good curveball and I can access with a anywhere anytime you want it what it did was buy me a chance to have one good year which I did that one Goodyear bought me seven more so Jesus had my story, but my life story in a nutshell, right Tom house here in the recharger before I let you go I would be remiss if I did not give me the floor on chilly Otani what were seeing in and your two cents on his throwing motion. How long do you think he can keep up what he is doing at the major-league level, he's the only one in the history did what Babe Ruth did and is doing it better not. You know he's a top 10 picture in the top five hitter is I don't know how he does it is a gifted athlete, but his mitt is makeup also says that he'll be able to stick to sustain it. He's surrounded by a group that really takes care of him all the and is a good kid, so there's no reason physically that he can't do it. This is how long is you want to do it but he special sure is is no doubt argue work working with Archie Manning as well. If you've seen him yet arch is all of that grandson. I think Adam and and Adam dado and John back with three QBR. I have not had hands-on with them personally, but I'm trying to retire. I'm trying to to turn back payment leave what I've done have the kids that are following me stand on my shoulders not only with three QB with the butt with a national fishing Association, but all things that I've heard about him is that he is, is the real deal. He's got the gene pool and all the advantage of how to and why from the from all the relativist special K why I asked about him, not only because he is you know what Manning and Sony people are paying attention but the aforementioned TJ Jefferson plans to retire on the rookie card. She's already bought and that we still in high school is a he's trying to visit you guys stay ahead of the curve. I think it's a good investment teacher at the guy did it. He's up is a very projectable kid and you realize that they start showing up at age 14 or 15, which is another thing that we have to deal with in today's world. These kids are projected to be college prospects third. You know baseball prospects 12 and 13, which is another thing that messes not only the athletes heads up a little bit but the mom's and dad are your whole another story.

All yeah that'll have you back will talk about average get the mustard out. I'm literally going to download to a commercial break as you walk on your team mustard.com team mustard.com enough serious MST RD okay very good and appreciate that, for all those after I follow you on twitter at Tom house and I appreciate you, and your Tom, first of hopefully many times anytime you want to come and had a great time up Colorado the H anyone, I love it. That's townhouse everybody who can hit a curveball on an ants asked right that one down.

How delightful Zach shot right amount I know is that is really interesting hanging on his every word they can measure anything right now they can measure whether you think properly. Unbelievable. That's crazy. Metadata is collecting is basically it's it's it's like either you, you've got it or you don't and they can measure if you got it. And if you follow four basic principles to the nth degree like Tom Brady is like you don't zero cheat days man that was awesome with Tom house that was just absolutely awesome cabin promising this I mean NFL films, music please for downs with wait right here in the recharger every Tuesday your thoughts on the NFL campaign the week the just finished up that it might go to, but here's my first down so much conversation about looking as we all know on the offense of side of the ball. The offense of rookie of the year and you were just one weekend. And that's where you can kinda see you may have. It does, and if you know they were banged up during the preseason, how they look. If they play in week number one, you know, the Jets have Garrett Wilson the saints after so lame that she's going out there in the morning on the second round. I mean Christian Watson had one right in his hands and dropped it on Aaron Rodgers not the way you want to start off with Aaron Rodgers but there is still many more games to come out to say first down drink.

London looks the part.

Folks number five in your program for the Atlanta Falcons yet just five catches, 74 yard seven targets for Marcus Marietta just looked the part.

Looks they look strongly presents the target he runs after the catch problem and not next up for him USC Trojan comes right to his old backyard against the Rams and I think he's going to have a nice Sunday start out there know Jim Ramsey wants to bounce back significantly, but first first in first looks.

I liked what I saw to drink London for the Atlanta Falcons and I think the offense was common against the saints.

That's an outlier, either for Arthur Smith seem second down right here on my post week one for downs is a simple question and after just one week of him with his new team, just as it why in the world would you ever trade Ajay Brown right.

Mercer wasn't happy that I couldn't be happier.

These in my fantasy team.

Why in the world would you have trade Ajay Brown. I guess if you want Pam and I got the same height, weight, Going Trl. in Berks and good luck to him and I hope he does blossom for the Tennessee Titans who were points challenged against the Giants and Ajay Brown 10 for about 5513 targets okay thank you that's what you get to know somebody who's a game changer wide receiver, you know, I know I'll Sean Jeffrey had a minute there.

I'm just a big tall strong wide receiver jail and hurt your quarterback and look for and find any rhetorical question. Okay, I bet second on his third down right here sneaky good attacks need to get exact not thinking about another sneak good so far. One week in the sneaky is good pass attack in the league may just be the Baltimore Ravens everybody overlooking what they're doing in the okay and it's not just a Jets on defense looked faster than I have seen them any. While we got sauce Gardner, slated to be on set Wednesday our next rich eyes and show unicorn Alexander's line around the pass rush is significant that first half of the Jets season. Defensively was a nice checkmark. I liked what I saw women and and and then Lamar starts flowing right here, by the way, having no luck touchdown pass that I think of my home. Stuart would be not what about every highlight show top of mind read Lamar found were shot Bateman for a touchdown to scores for Texas Longhorn Devon do Bernet almost was a great weekend for the Longhorns and concurrent end. And you know alumni form, three touchdowns in the air from the mark and NNO Michael Irvin Husseini should run the football more. Not when you can throw it near I'll take the phone Lamar over the runner Lamar run in the market happen anytime thrown the mark on our see them win games like that and they did against the Jets defense that came out humming. That's third down and forth down what you believe what you believe. I looked it Mike Solomon is never one coaching you did you know that AP coaching year never been into the mic, one wants my talent is never one coach of the year now and you could knock me over the feather on that one is easier to be set up for him that week one W is not expected to say the least. Mitchell Stravinsky did look pretty pretty pretty good. I know I'm going to register them at some point made optical regular registrant you're busy, but for the moment, I'm just getting a pretty good about offense and defense of my God, did they get after it and they are they are angry they are feeling overlooks the Mike Tomlin has the troops salting wealthy English a salty bunch and if they can win the division this year.

Let's come up with 1213 wins and winning one on the road against the Bengals or defending division champs and Nancy champs is a good way to start it. What you say there are things that you know I like to write a losing year and that not only is he not have a losing year. He has a like to or three senior Internet and at conferences got the bills and achieves. Is this a season. Mike Tomlin finally went cochlear for downs post week one of the 2022 season the skewers schedule. That's the next up are your packs at the wind coming in three and one been there at Cleveland for they have a nice little thoughts readily for the by then incomes that you exact Wilson's unwrapping the roof for the three in one before they you know really hit it. One of my clients have and I am happy to get Buffalo in the mouth in the same way that they did week one last year with the come out that when that nobody expected. What if the Mitchell troop risky revenge factor. Nobody's talking about comes home to roost in Buffalo at the last yearly meeting monopolize your remaining man on what you want half a leg, then get one of those tough games. Suddenly, therefore, in three going into the bio when I was actually back. I know TJ wanted looks like will avoid surgery is thrown out all out there to be back in six weeks. She did not attend the two men. At first TJ wanted to express God about why that's a legit question. I know that's why asked and I asked sometimes you asked them to kinda poke me without it rich. I think Jack is back the way a torn crack puts guys out for the year.

I know a broken repaired, throwing hand Northam is important for the record, I grip the ball on now is not a mistake deck about TJ. What I just want that on I would put a hard earned dollars on a but you haven't paid off the Kenny Pickett was in the top three. He sure has outside was a top on the top 10 content unit which I should get double that bet because I predicted Kenny would get drafted by the Steelers that whole time and every never say never but nobody. But happy that he knows not to time, we made the bed know we did know was seen during the season, but when we come back we go out the door with the way Russell Wilson was greeted walking in the door and the latest head scratching decision from Cleveland Browns management. Gotta talk about it. Three words I didn't know existed that I would never say on TV either. That's coming up next day was last time you seriously considered your dream. I mean, used to think about it all the time. What happened I say it's time you and your dream get back together. Think about it, you could live the van life in a totally customized Mercedes-Benz printer you could tour around all 423 national Park sites build a mountain cabin with your dad or start your own business really every dream up, and it's a Mercedes-Benz band were talking about here, so expect innovative safety features like crosswind assistant blind spot assist expect amazing performance and reliability within MB UX voice command system a five star dealer network and an available gas engine runs like a drink. It is making sure you can listen to the valve in the NFL app on Westwood One sports.com by Westwood One station streams or by asking Alexa to open Westwood One sports. If it's the pellets on West I did the Monday Night Football last night and Westwood One on their own next week for Vikings and the Eagles were to have the Davin Cook and Jill in her schedule appear on the show later this week. Nice death. So the conversation about Russell Wilson is been all over the map. Ever since he came into the league.

Our first television podcast version of the audio podcast that that show was born out of that. I said that right Chris left a last minute just add for the season-opening television podcast version and in a format we have to get a 2012 season kickoff. The young kid at Wisconsin that we kept on asking for because it looked like he was gonna start to the Seattle Seahawks but we Been told was in the film alone can't accept this 10 minute window that read as Russell Wilson correct and then you know Russ became the darling of Seattle and why not, he was the personification of the Pete Carroll always compete mantra that it doesn't matter where you been drafted or if you were drafted off. You're on the team and you get to compete which everyone does, and you compete well enough you can start you can start you can be the guy and we all know what happened. As things went forward and then came the word that that they were start and there were like less rules there like certain rules from Ross that didn't apply to other people that that you know they didn't give it to Marshall mention the goal line. Not because they thought it was wise to throw it.

They didn't want Marchant to be the MVP of the game. Let's get Russ the MVP the game by allowing the throw at me. That's the sort of conversation that based on all the chatter beneath the surface in Seattle right that there was always the erring on the side of making sure Ross is okay happy and happy, and these are guided to the detriment of everyone else.

Or, you know, even though you're the stars as well of the steam and then the beneath the surface conversation about Russ flipped where suddenly before the 20 team draft we heard that in Dallas we were argue to the ground. We heard the Seahawks might be out on Russ that they had enough of Russ that there's parts of Ross that we don't see that creates too much of an issue when were like what are those issues guy goes to children's hospitals when he's not plan and good luck winning this without him winning games because you won't even let Russ Cook never even mentioned that to Pete Carroll last year and he bristled like when we don't let them cook you know and and and then suddenly it flipped and then Russell Wilson just last week confirmed they try get the Seahawks did in fact try to trade him prior to the 20 team draft to Cleveland for the first overall pick in were to take Josh Allen with Cleveland held onto that pic. As we all know and did not use Josh Allen so I think the way that everything played out last night shows you there's a lot of beneath the surface stuff about Russell Wilson and the Seahawks because changing right was the retiree who was raising the banner for the 12 last night they gave him a tribute video no tribute video for Russell Wilson. You think it's just like hey thanks for the memories and petty.

I don't know I just think there's some water under that bridge man and I think the fans pick up on. I know we had a call earlier saying the fans weren't blowing Russ. They were booing the quarterback of the Denver Broncos. I think the caller from Salt Lake City said and they're pulling the Broncos, which is what they do sense that this was Russ after the game about the booze. I think that your morning else though for me personally and waiver.

They may cheer for you. They may believe they may levy one day in the way to the next and that supports the demo kit compete among key battle. I know who I am. First of all I think for me, I was grateful God give me the chance to play this game to see your fun you guys and say, you know it is all for his glory and his glory alone is not for anybody else's update for an audience of one, and S is for him so I'm just grateful that I could do these guys know in this locker room tube swapping around some amazing teammates in the past. I got amazing teammates currently and remember everything.

A moment of that. So tonight was special. Mom you knows the other side. You know them know that I use to but it was still special environments of place that I've always loved places always loved. I don't know if Felix currently mutual. Just wondering if water can get under the bridge at some point it's all over the he does deserve to be fted in that stadium. I kinda feel like I so still it soon. It still too soon, and I heard people are saying about he left he wanted out. He left and left them with Drew Locke and Gino Smith not in the spot where Elise calls fans got Andrew lock after they lost unit after they lost.

Manning and and things might've been different for Tommy's return last year.

If Matt Jones had Morty shown and flashed right now sums me to service and also I just think that Russ clearly thought it was can win last night when he brought an outfit where the of the Met Gala like that stuff looks like somebody like as Dion taught me a long time ago that when people come dressed like this to a game that's there were going to win today suit that you don't dress like that.

Thinking you're going to lose. You know he didn't fumble twice on the goal line. That's true. I mean, he played well enough to win one other item before we go and what we like to argue my Norton kinda new to the Roku channel audience a report and keep you up to speed every now and then in our first week here we like breaking news. We like breaking news and we like setting trends here on the program. So, in light of both of those breaking news and setting a trend Cleveland Browns management can sometimes get it wrong understatement. This what I don't get fans will get it. I don't get it.

Dear three words I never thought I would know existed.

Did you know there they have multiple mascots there and Dave placed one of their mascots at the center of their field. When the Jets visit this weekend to open the home schedule for the 10 Cleveland Browns they placed one of their mascots centerfield it's not one of the dogs. It's a mascot called Browning the elf and it is like some like old Disney looking drawing like from the 40s and it is a monstrously science sort of folk and eared elf in a Heisman like Paul was with big old you know Disney dwarf shoes, and to anybody who doesn't know the history of this mascot or doesn't know the Browns organization intimately. You are to be thinking what the hell is that, but apparently this logo goes back to the 40s to the point where apparently Paul Brown even thought about putting it on the side of the helmet and the Nissan mockup because you were not doing that and the mascot was around until Mark Modell get this in 1961 bought the teams that were the else gone out PD elf to the Browns MDD Browns Cleveland, but it is a history of an eye. I guess Randy learned when he bought the team back to life brought the elf back to life. It was a training camp patch logo of 22,006 abutting the 60th anniversary of the franchise and now it is back and it is on the center of the field, out of the blue I guarantee you, most of the diehard NFL fan base is going to be like who the hell is Browning. The elf apparently it's born out of like a children's book where you know a brown brownie was the name of an elf that would come out in the middle of the night and do household chores, and you'd leave a brownie for the elf as a thank you but I looked us up and Mike really is that that's where were going okay. It's a choice, choice, it's a choice in the middle of everything figuratively for their team and literally on the field. They are putting a monster sized Browning. The elf on that field that Christmas thing hard rock Coco and Joe ever see that I do not know certainly what you are talking about, like, literally, that sounded like gibberish from another limited it's a definite incident Khartoum. It comes on and it's these three elves and it's in black-and-white start in the 50s and that's what this looks like it's hard rock Coco and Joe is an elf and that's what the hell it is that I think that is a choice that is a choice. They want to have Blake Baker matrons not coming back to plant a flag like the belt I could be to a no football team through the who cares whatever you want. The middle of the field elf is increasing with the Browns did do right, but this one to give a shout to friend my my guy Nathan's girl who's out on the show lease do a fantasy football show 12 years ago called his dream he worked in.

He's now the color guy for the Browns.

Regale me just someone to give him a shout out, and I'm glad you did. He's going to be staring down at a huge ass elf.

I mean there's team logos, there is the shield and then there's brownie the elf doesn't hate. This is much yes yes yes no mailing a letter I don't hate it easier to do.

It goes beyond both #Irene, who I look at that is intentional grounding inside the box while you break the old box now arises intentional grounding free cookies.
