Pastor Andy Stanley said that the 10 Commandments don't apply to Christians today. What was he totally left field and saying that it's time for the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH. That's 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown so pastor at least family once again in the news because the column he wrote, in relevant magazine saying that the 10 Commandments, do not apply to Christians today in the same way that say the sermon on the Mount applies and therefore we should be emphasizing the new commandment of Jesus to love one another so we commandment, he left us.

It is, is there any truth to that.

Is he completely out in left field. This is this some absolutely bizarre heretical notion what what we'll talk about that today. What's your take are the 10 Commandments for Christians today. And if you say yes do you mean all 10 including the Sabbath commandment. If you believe that this is the seventh day Sabbath, a change to 1/8 day is Sunday Sabbath any day of the week is a just spiritual 866-34-TRUTH this is Michael Brown. Welcome to the line of fire. Okay, I did have surgery done my mouth today a couple months back had a tooth extracted because of problems their infection in the bone, etc. so today was the first stage of having an implant put in and so far so good. I'm not bleeding like I was the last time during the show.

After the tooth extraction. I was actually doing this you like this because I had to keep gauze in my mouth and so far no severe pain just took like a regular painkiller will take those anymore. Normally have headaches all the time before my healthy eating by God's grace no headaches and 4 1/2 years and counting. Praise God, but all good so far. Yeah got out of the doctors office with 1/2 hours ago, and all good. 866-34-TRUTH is the number to call. I'll tell you about my ongoing dialogue with pastor Andy Stanley and in the midst of some differences. What I really appreciate about my brother before we get into that case you haven't heard, yes, just as we have been saying no surprise here whatsoever a pastor has lost his job, pastoring a church because he openly proclaimed scriptural truth. Yes is a headline on the daily wire pastor lose his job after church sign stating homosexuality is still sin causes uproar so here was the sign the Martin from the church.

Bruce Jenner is still a man. Homosexuality is still sin. Culture may change. The Bible does not let me ask you question if he posted that five years ago.

Bruce Jenner still a man people. So what you mean he is a man is five years. Three years ago we posted three as if he posted it when Bruce Jenner first said, I believe a really a woman began to change his name to Caitlin and identifies 13 years ago.

What level of controversy with that part of the statement have drawn and then go back 10 years, 15 years, 20 years on the six rows still send culture change by Melissa how big of controversy with that of been unless you're in a very very liberal church that really denies the authority of Scripture go back a generation. Be less than zero controversy will estimate was was slavery. Although there was always controversy in America over slavery was controversy in England over slavery.

I just don't don't compare the two. There, there were committed Bible believing Christians that there were men like John Wesley in England. They were men like William Wilberforce in England. There were preachers like Charles Finney in America.

There were plenty who had deep opposition to slavery among the founding fathers.

There was opposition so you can't say what the church got that wrong. There was long-standing division of the Bible itself is a book of liberation for slaves so what this pastor's sign illustrated was exactly what happened. The culture changed. The Bible didn't and his church are the majority of it went with the culture because of which he lost his job. The halon the sign was vandalized. That's is wrong. I don't care if it was a sign saying homosexuality is fine. The Bible says so. Of course it's bogus, but it if if there was a sign that said that you don't vandalize I don't hear an uproar about vandalizing it know there's an uproar because he had the gall to plainly say what the Bible says so on his blog. This is this is what he has to say because he he's related with his Analysis as of today.

This is January 12. I'm no longer pastor of Trinity Bible Presbyterian Church. How ironic. Trinity Bible Trinity Bible Presbyterian Church.

After much prayer and counsel have decided that it is best to briefly communicate what is taking place one. I was informed by other elder that he felt he could no longer follow my lead is pastor of TBPC2. I was informed that essentially all but one couple in membership would leave the church if I continued as pastor of TB PC three are other elder and the couple felt that those who left would like return if I would leave for other elder was agreeable to stay and assume the past responsibilities therefore was determined that it would be in the best interest of the local body rust TB PC and the Hoke family. His name is Justin Hoke or hokey they Coke at the part ways and then update as of today generally 14th. I would like to add this I did not want to leave. I did not quit and I was willing to stay so he was fired he lost his job or you want to put it. He didn't quit, he was going to say obviously strong to be conciliatory, but here's my here's my bigger question how in the world was he pastoring there at all holding to biblical beliefs one this whole congregation is rejected them and the elder is rejected or is at least rejected saying anything about them publicly. Now look friends.

There is a reason we been raising her voice for years as a reason I've been raising my voice is 2004.

Even before that, but very rarely on this subject than God clearly laid on my heart in 2004, 2005. Reach out and resist reach out to the LGBT community with compassion really than the T word was not so prominent reach out to the LGBT community with compassion resist the agenda resistor activist agenda with courage and what's a fundamental axiom of the LB GT activist agenda that those who came out of the closet want to put us in the closet. Remember the early days of gay activists.

Beginning in the late 1960s the risk activist in America before that, but went when it really became prominent, beginning with the Stonewall riots in 1969 in June in New York City.

When that began, there were two great obstacles to the widespread societal acceptance of homosexual relations and homosexual practice.

One psychology, psychiatry. That said, homosexuality was a disorder, it was a sickness. It was akin to schizophrenia or some kind of bipolar issue or things like that.

It was a mental, emotional disorder and to the religious world. That said, it was a sin. So the dual campaigns. This is not a sickness is not a sin is not a sickness is not a sin and as a result, there was great success immediately in the world of psychology, psychiatry, beginning in 1983 when the APA the pathology eyes homosexuality and and said there's no evidence that it's a disorder of any kind and and people that that are same-sex attracted art are living happy and fulfilled lives and our earner are not bothered by this threat home with their sexuality, etc. in order. I'm oversimplifying obviously there was tremendous lobbying pressure and outward pressure and protested and all because of things saps as they were called to intimidate and to push things. But many psychiatrist psychologist switch so that the American psychiatric Association, and then the other APA that actually bigger but often not as influential American psychological Association. Both of them and in other organizations one after another, followed suit. So that's all we ever hear all the major psychological psychiatric Association.

Sorry, but also chose not to disorder woes, one following the other insured and and there were many who were involved even from the beginning. That said, it was never a scientific consensus on but that battle was one of these one battle to change what society thinks that's the church you say Orthodox Jews as well commit Muslims but there the rest minority in the country in terms of influencing culture less influential, but you have the traditional church evangelical Bible believing Christians. Those that would be traditional Catholics. Always those that hold to historic moral biblical values even in the midst of the theological differences that would be the obstacle overcome, hence the all-out war that continues to this day. Hence the demonizing of conservative Christians at hence the presentation that if your conservative Christian leader obviously a hypocrite rubs the bigot rubs the homophobic rubs the trans phobic rubs the KKK your racist, your secret Nazi and on and on all and if you take issue with homosexual practice that means your closet homosexuals of the kind of garbage we deal with all the time now, many lashing out or lashing out in pain. In other words, they have been hurt by the church with the church is not reached out and look where the churches categorize them as if you yourself and your very essence are an abomination with the church is not had compassion on struggles with the churches is what is be celibate is if you snap your fingers. That's the easiest thing to do.

Many are responding in anger because of pain and that always hurts me and always grieve over that because instead of drawing people to the cross.

We often push people away with friends.

We must be filled with grace and truth, not grace or truth and true love compels us to speak the truth. Society has changed to the point that a pastor and a professing quote Bible church loses his job restating plainly that God created us male and female. Therefore, if Bruce Jenner is a biological and chromosomal mail. He remains a male if he identifies his Caitlin and has sex change surgery and for saying homosexuality meeting homosexual practice is still a sin. Preaching with the Bible says in announcing the culture changes of the Bible. He loses his job as pastor of a Bible church. Are you awake now. Are you willing to speak up before it's too late. Speak up while you still have a voice pastor friends about you.

All right be that talk about in his family and the 10 Commandments, the light a fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by going to 866-34-TRUTH your exam is Dr. Michael Brown writes what about Christians and the 10 Commandments, 866-34-TRUTH there is immediate reaction headlines all over the Internet from major Christian websites pastor Andy Stanley says the 10 Commandments, do not apply to Christians today don't put up a monument to them. No put up of your poker monument put up the sermon on the Mount of surrounding us a lot longer. Three full chapters and and pretty long chapters, especially the fifth chapter, but yet he asked, so why do Christians want to post the 10 Commandments and not the sermon on the mime offer posted the sermon on the mount. I'm all for getting that out but obviously there's a lot of outrage and shock, especially when we fought so many battles over the 10 Commandments in public and they play such an important role in American history being posted in prominent places no concern about taking the 10 Commandments out of public takes them out of consciousness, etc., and reduces morality in the country so there there's always outreach to this, but the answer is not quite as black-and-white as you might think on the one you can say of course the 10 Commandments apply. On the other hand to be some debate which will get what your take this to the simple question are the 10 commands for Christians today, in which case, what about the Sabbath commandment about the fourth commandment where does that fit in 866-34-TRUTH just looking over on my twitter feed here right, I did a poor done this before, but I did this leading into the show today. Let me scroll down since the Sabbath commandment is one of the 10 Commandments you believe it applies to Christians today and because I have four options in a twitter pole. I gave these yes on Saturday. Yes, on Sunday. Yes, but only spiritually and then no so I'll tell you how folks voted on that in a moment rights of the four choices does the Sabbath command which is one of the 10 Commandments apply to Christians today. I give four choices yesterday paused on Saturday yesterday paused on Sunday.

The supplies, but only spiritually and then no right so interesting responses here and if you're on my twitter feed. You can add in your take on the pole you can call with your thoughts. 866-34-TRUTH Google phones in a moment, and I'm going to read some comments by Pastor Stanley but I want to be 100% upfront. He asked me some weeks back couple months back. Actually, at least what I read his book irresistible sent me a copy when I read and I told him I would believe I took it with me when I went to India, but I did read a did read and crack it open everything I did was on the reader and and computer and other things. I just I didn't read so he is amazingly accessible.

Okay he years ago when we began to dialogue. He gave me his cell phone number in this email okay he is again amazingly accessible for a pastor's prominent. This is an quite gracious and humble in interaction and when I wrote an article years ago some honest questions for Andy Stanley about homosexuality. That's when he first reached out to me on twitter you been reading my articles apparently for a while and started to blast me like a man would appreciate it if you wrote to me first, and he goes I'm just messing with you. It all just messing with you, we began to interact, we interacted on where he stood on different points.

I wrote a follow-up article sent it to him for accuracy and then put it out and then oh hello year or so after that I was at a big theology conference in California and the main speaker made a comment about Andy Stanley in his mega church says that homosexual marriage is okay so I direct message them and he said I don't believe that. Please correct it. So I went up to the head of the conference rose speaking told miscible once you correct it on when you speak next because everyone was there for the sessions. So I did immediately and I got on radio and stated with with test stands for the proven fact, he reaffirmed that when he was on radio with me a few months back so when he first made comments about Christians need to unhitch from the Old Testament, a term that he subsequently said was that the best term to use. But when he made that statement. I was really grieved and I wrote a long article, no Pastor Stanley. We should not unhitch ourselves from the Old Testament and out of it. It's it's a longer article than normal. The normally like 802,000 words. This was maybe 16 800 words on the but I wrote it probably 2030 minutes of just so greedy pouring out of the Scripture of Scripture that I sent it to him and he took issue with a little bit.

The way I characterize things to change that and he said hey, go ahead and publish it. It will not affect the relationship negatively right so I want you to know this.

If you're in the bash.

Pastor Stanley camp what you about the quality of our interaction and his openness to interact think it's very important to note, I've reached out to major ministry leaders and and some of the biggest ministries in the world that I've taken issue. They reached out to me so sad. Please don't publish that we want to fix this privately some one case I flew Internet with an numerous of their key leaders and then their top leader would update me on things to say hey if if you're concerned about this were dealing with it and then others have done my best interact with have done my best to reach out to without success or gone ahead and published in written what I've done, but of obviously was try to be fair so I wrote that article and then when the controversies continue that.

I kept sending Pastor Stanley the latest article bashing his position. He said he want to come on the air with you and and let's clear things up so he subsequently came on the air weed we did an interview you can watch it on our website on aspect run review read my article there as well ask Dr. Brown.org Dr. Brown interviews Pastor Stanley we set up by Skype so he could see each other, so you've got that not all, there's a civil.

He said one thing on your shall be set other things on other and always get this article out so I just now started reading irresistible. I told him yesterday. I would read it, and allows him to finish and I am hoping to really quick and absorbent quickly, really quickly absorbed but I'm just starting it now and I'm I plan to write an article about are the 10 Commandments were today responded to some of his written however assented to Pastor Stanley first assayed you think I misrepresent you in any way and I won't make a final assessment until I read irresistible which case a lead pastor and you know and then put things out okay so some of this because we have interaction. That's what because I have the ability to dialogue with him.

If I don't have the ability to dialogue with someone and something of major major concern comes out. I feel got a shout out a warning that I'll do that. Always trying to be fair at the same time so more to come on. All of this and perhaps a follow-up interview with Pastor Stanley but I want you to know in the midst of some disagreements and concerns that are serious.

I have not found a leader I found very few if any leaders of his influence as willing to engage is willing to interact as happy to get on the phone and talk as asbestos them so II want to say that to be honest and fair with every differences I have or will express today are all in that context. All right before I I weigh in.

Let's let's go to the phones and will take our first call Jared in Arizona so what's your takes her on this 10 Commandments issue.

Dr. Brown think so much to my understanding is that those of us in Christ are walking in the moment of Moses know Old Testament because Jesus fulfilled that so way I can understand and commitment issue is that because of Jesus moment we no longer have to buy anything regarding the 10 Commandments, but are chartered Christian is to abide in Christ maintaining the Holy Ghost and making sure that we are walking circumspectly before God.

According to our relationship attempt so in some aspect.

I would agree with antifamily thing that the pink members don't apply to it because in Christ helpful to pick because he is but there is no requirement for us to keep holy our relationship with God. One way to know God better is to understand what the Old Testament says about his character is correct right so it's not a black-and-white yes and no issues that you dismiss with Pastor Stanley Singer told the firm it you your nuance in your statement. Let me just ask you this really quickly. In essence, since this command not to commit adultery, which is then repeated by Jesus and by Paul and elsewhere in the New Testament. In essence, how is it any different. In other words, abiding in Christ and therefore fulfilling the law by or walking in the spirit and obedience to him versus this commandment not to do it and therefore I don't do it. So in terms of actual practice in life is. It is discernible in terms of a difference.

Wonderful question. I wish more Christians would affect?

It we are to keep holy relationship with God the Holy Ghost fight about is going to take her spirit that heaven will outweigh. We need to understand what he called doing what you want for it and we had the writing is reference all talk of adultery in the think the plucked out by an unholy and we do have reference to when God was the leader over the nation of Israel. What he called them to abuse that we have some understanding how God wants us to live in this world we live according to how the precept that he played outdoors and will do well if we keep holy our relationship with pimple notes. Christians will be able to carry on the message and and break bread with those SSL versus Lloyd hey Jared thanks for getting us started with less yield vicious comments and we shall continue the justice's conversations. As the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown thank you so much on the line of fire. You say, why is it historic well it's is January 14 of 2019 exhibit but why is it historic well it's 114 we we do calendar in America month first then they of the month in say UK and other parts the world. It's it's the reverse. But 114 so sick of John 114 and the Word became flesh and tabernacle among us. We beheld his glory, the course of that one only of the father full of grace and truth. So it's it's a wonderful Scripture day, but by January 14, 1997 was the first day of Brown's revival school of ministry within four years later became fire at school of ministry. Also starting on a January 14 but Bosch on that same day, January 14, 2001. Our first grandchild was born Eliana amazing turned eight teen years old today and is as I was driving up to our offices. I was thinking you can have a full and rich and blessed life never be married. Never have sons, daughters, direct kids have grandkids you can have a full and blessed life in Jesus. Even Walt battling sickness even in the midst of financial hardship. So those things are true.

Jesus truly is enough. God's grace to you sufficient at the same time. I'm overwhelmingly thankful that in my life in the Lord. I've been blessed with an amazing wife. We salute 43 years of marriage, God willing, in March was a gobbling that that her marriage.

Heather is this futures always say that for anything future recently 43 years of marriage. In March 2 wonderful daughters then two wonderful sons in law's then for wonderful grandchildren. A lot of people don't get to see that experience that so I'm deeply, deeply blessed on Friday night this past Friday. I debated Dr. Dale Tuckey phosphor philosophy professor Dr. Dale Tuckey on the subject is the father alone. The true God. According to the Bible, we will have a video quality video up of that as soon as we get it from the folks that filmed it on the Kentucky steam you can watch the live stream ready. That was posted on her Facebook page and asked Dr. Brown and there's a quality audio link as well that I tweeted out if you like to listen to the debate but we should have a quality video debate online as well were available on DVD, but tomorrow is biblical Unitarian: day and I don't believe there there biblical in their stance so that your view, you know, I don't agree with you but tomorrow… Breaking news and have to cover tomorrow is your call in day if you are on the Kentucky side.

If you believe the father alone is God and Jesus is not or the sun is not eternal deity, benchmarks, or data call-in or press if you agree with me, but have a question call but it's first and foremost for those who differ with me. All right my my goal is not to mock you. My goal is not to insult you. My goal is not to demean you if we differ will differ honestly and plainly and clearly right so tomorrow.

Noted of Esther to tell you to get the word out.

Suffer him to call and we had our cutter debate, but this is this for you: all right, so I'm doing it with an open heart and those I'm not doing this to bash with us a trip to humiliate you. I'm doing this to give you an opportunity to differ with me to raise your question or you will be able to give a 10 minute lecture anything like that. We don't we don't have a set up. That's fair to recall it was a luxury BLX 30 hours a day. The hyperbole, but will do our best to take as many calls and answers many questions as you have okay and if you and if you if your doctor took his camp and you watch the debate listen to the debate want to raise an issue with me. Great great okay so 866-34-TRUTH Andy Stanley Pastor Andy Stanley with him. I'm an ongoing interaction just started reading his irresistible book, as I promised I would, after which I can make more full comments, generally seventh relevant magazine.

He asked why do Christians want to post the 10 Commandments and not the sermon on the Mount's answer would be with 10 claims a short seven months long but this is what he says before the store before group of Christians puts up a monument of the 10 Commandments in a public space or on government property summonses and violates the separation of church and state Christmasy taking it down violates the freedom of speech there some back and forth in court. Both sides six of micros rates not so great things about the other. Rinse and repeat. But how many times have you seen Christians try to post the text of the sermon on the Mount a public place or the all-encompassing commandment, Jesus gave us.

John 1334 a new commandment I give you love one another as I've loved you, so you must love one another. The one commandment doesn't have the same ring to it doesn't create a monument to stand as a testament to her face for the at least be a monument of something actually applies to us. Hear me out. Says the 10 Commandments are from the old covenant, the 10 commitments play significant role in God's creation of the nation of Israel gave the moral guidelines and help separate this nation from their neighbors. This was part of the formal agreement or covenant God created with his people. But Jesus death and resurrection signal the end of the covenant and all the rules and regulations associated with it.

Jesus did this was new command is an additional commandment to the existing list of commands. He didn't say here's the 614th law.

Jesus, if it is new commandment is a replacement for everything in the existing list including the Big Ten justices new covenant replace the old covenant, Jesus new commandment replaced all the old commandments.

Okay, now get. I am in ongoing interaction with pastor Stanley. I'm an ongoing interaction with him reading his irresistible book, and so he knows from differing and as I as I write something I'm sending it to him first and I linked him on Twitter to say that were talking about this today right so I'm only miss a limited things and undertaker calls right 866-34-TRUTH one. I categorically differ with the idea that the new commandment replaces all the old commitments at totally different with Aetna going to read this whole book to see if there's anything more nuanced than that. He says in the book but just responding to the article I categorically differ with them there. Someone to I think was the last thing in the disciples mind when they heard this, that they thought also several photos in applying for example that was the last thing in a month and certainly no one's thinking alike go commit adultery now, which of course Pastor Sam is nothing either rather to the new covenant.

The moral commandments are rich in our hearts and and that's why Paul can quote from the 10 Commandments in Ephesians 6 and see children on your parents obey your parents. This is the first commandment with promise. Honor your father and mother, so also Paul quotes this in the New Testament context so I I differ strongly with the way things are being expressed here now, here's what I think is very positive.

Pastor Stanley says the sermon on the mouth is for today which takes the adultery prohibition to a higher level and internalizes it as well and takes other commitments to a higher level whole lot easier to keep a lot of the Old Testament laws and follow the sermon on the mount which requires supernatural grace to do even more than grace that was needed will be the Old Testament to go to a temple to offer sacrifice is a hard thing to do to keep certain ritual purity laws. It may be a lot to learn but is not a hard thing to do to to live a holy life on the inside first and foremost that's challenging requires supernatural grace. One of the 10 Commandments starts there. Don't covet. That's its internal yeah so so Jesus is taking that in this deepening the application of the commandments. So there are hyper grace teachers tragically one of the very very worst serious serious errors, hyper grace Is that it says the sermon on the Mount and the teachings of Jesus before the cross do not apply to Christians today.

That's dangerous that's serious error. That's ugly error that that is misleading error that is damaging error that is error that can lead to the destruction of someone's life and God. Yes, it can. Jesus said we make disciples by teaching them to observe everything he commanded us. The Greek indicating everything. He previously commanded us. This is serious serious error and and Jesus says in John 15. So Matthew 28 1920. I just quoted Jesus says in John 15 seven that will abide in him and his words in us and then we ask what will and it will be giving his rent harmony with God uses us in John 1426. The spirit will remind the apostles of at an us by extension of the words that he spoke Matthew 24, 35 Jesus says that heaven and earth will pass with his words will never pass away. So amen that's preached the sermon on the Mount pastor Stanley preached the sermon on the Mount. Let's do it. Let's go through it and challenge believers to live the impossible life that God calls us to live only by his grace and empowerment. Absolutely.

But let's do it, but screeches absolute Lordship let's let's warn let let us warn about the consequences of scorning his words. Yes yes yes yes yes like that may start their yes pastor Stanley let's preach the sermon on the mount. Maybe I'll start their my next article, but having said that, if you just sit a tank.

Of course the 10 commitments applied to today.

Then obviously the questions were about the Sabbath. What about the Sabbath, so David can't commented on Facebook he said yes, though the Sabbath day has changed Christians from Saturday to Sunday, the day Jesus rose from the dead. So yes we keep the Sabbath, but it's changed and inheres. Here's the way folks have voted thus far on my twitter feed so at this. This is how they voted so far in my pole does the Sabbath apply to Sabbath commands. One of the 10 commands you believe it 10 commitments to believe it applies to Christians today so 14% said yes on Saturday even though the Sabbath commandment is the seventh day. That Saturday so the tether segment applies within a modified way. 25% said yes on Sunday. Will this literally no scriptural support for this and this is really more in an edict of the Catholic Church in an and then 39% said yes, it applies, but only spiritually words that we find rest in Christ and in 22% said no. All that to say that pastor Stanley's comment is controversial as it wasn't as much as I take issue with much of what he said in the way he said it has more support when it comes to the Sabbath, then it might seem evident so you think it's relevant, but in a different way that they apply but in a different way. Okay, we come back your calls only getting straight to your calls. We come back 8663 it's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 6643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown is joining us on the buyer all right your comments now we start with Aryan in Oregon which are take on the 10 Commandments issue around all so my my relationship with an commandment at a can leverage right that I am not obligated to obey the seven day habit at Israelite worked in Africa couple different reason. Now try and go over briefly that the Sabbath was commanded to Israelite… The first reason the second reason being that it was what I believe is better fit with the ceremonial law, like for example if a child just jump in all of this a lot we could say and hopefully will resume this discussion further in the future on Sabbath week we discussed this many times so I know you have a lot to say and I hate to do this because I'm asking for input, but in short, would you say that the same thing sir about the other nine commandments that you say about the, the Sabbath, or is the Sabbath command different because it was specifically given to Israel only what the other nine commandments from the start that they're all moral commandment okay alright so so that would so you would say the pen when pastor Stanley says the 10 Commandments don't apply to Christians in a nutshell, what would you say to that, I would. I do not agree with it but I do believe that nine of the 10 Commandments were right Commandment to the NewTek.hey I II know you have more to say but I was hoping you could say things concisely and clearly which you did exactly the input I was asking for. Thank you very much for the climb and will will talk more about Sabbath, specifically in the future but thank you, 866-34-TRUTH.

Let us go to Ted in Washington walking to the line of fire so what's what's your take either my character term.

To be defined when you're talking about the law. You mean one part and and where you talk about rate you want. The New Testament doctrine defined under the law who the law was given food not under the law. What right rear from the earth or the law, along with Bill were dead to the law group are you right so that we might live for another Gentiles who do not have the law, do by nature. The law required bay are a law unto them well.I Sosa just yet yet suggest you about the new nature right right right as an art right right I understood all the points very important points and I appreciate your thought into the into this question. So in short, do you agree with pastor Stanley's statement that the 10 Commandments, do not apply to Christians today or would you prefer the state that differently. I would Osorio black-and-white thinking with undefined category thought it okay whatever the law that go to her under the law, that every mouth may be followed by anyone who is under the law. The law right right since. Alright, so how colleges either now or both. The 10 Commandments apply do not apply to Chris how would you stated whatever the law note for those who are under the law. I assume direct quote from the Bible and whatever got it right in this.

Let's Romans three and in Romans eight that by Jesus dying for us that we now fill the righteous requirements of the law so but you would say that in the spirit of our new nature hey, I appreciate obviously got a lot of thought here and I'm just trying to get as many for input as I can, but thank you, thank you for allowing me to pull the answer out of you because I know you could you could talk about this at great length, having thought about as much as you have 866-34-TRUTH CJ in Idaho.

Welcome to want to fire.

Thanks for calling Gregory on escrow answer your take my Dragon not quite Marquardt. Are you one of work that through the applicant the contributor. I am sorry. No one follows us on the one rushing everybody here so it seems to me that the question kind of. It is not straightforward. So, for example, there is a lot of laws that don't seem to load 45 or Let every man be convinced of his own like that referencing specific with that of the Sabbath clearly is told you we can worship whatever they would feel like in the New Testament, but I have always found a certain level of hypocrisy with people who would say for example you shouldn't get back to the Christian and then they'll say all but the Old Testament law would clearly have more gravitas than Leviticus 1928, you should follow… Blind, dietary laws, because I like shrimp but I like tattoos. I understand there to be at least hypocrisy as much as inconsistency. So in, in short, if I said to you.

Do you more agree or more disagree with pastor Stanley's comment that the 10 Commandments don't apply to Christians today would you say that you more disagree or more agree. I wouldn't call myself slightly in the middle and I would quote Paul when he says that all things are lawful, but not often. As adultery, lawful well I don't get out of the width of the epic that would also don't mingle off what you think to a certain extent you talking about Christians only and in a weird way. I do think there is a level of the student since it is washed, it doesn't really apply for a weird thing because I don't want it on the letting people you just just jump in here and since of the course also best way to interpret all things lawful is that he's objecting to. He's responding to their objection all things lawful. Paul yeah but not all things that are fun everything Syncrude is permitted. That's why it's in quotes in the translation reading from that everything is helpful.

Everything is permitted, but not everything builds up so as adultery per minute new covenant, no adultery within new covenant know what Romans 14. I believe you can apply to Sabbath issues, but Emily was primarily dealing with that.

I don't think that was the controversy is much as other days, but that they can be debated as well. He thank you for weighing in. Let us go to Clayton and Maryland asked for calling the line of fire. So you agree with pastor Stanley are not noble and maniacal brother than clearly and error but you know keep him in prayer in her and he's an error because I'm even coming up because number one enemy.

The 10 commandment definitely Apple stating that we do a potluck date in our Majesty. You know you short in the society.

He And he reinforced one hit one of the commandment vacation with Eddie that if you love me, keep my commandments.

We are you know you know you surely as you eloquently say that you know he has a complex unity impaired as far as the father concern. The laws are are are you sure about that. How I see it go.

I would apply to my life and say that they definitely definitely still hold are important in you, which I would imagine you keep a 70 Sabbath as well.

Yeah I'm a mechanic.

By the way, not yet digging out. Then I got a foot from your answer sir, and from referencing Yeshua's existing messianic. Thank you, thank you, Clay.

I'm sure you're much more to send this as well. I appreciate it. Let me just grab one comments here Joan on Facebook. The 10 Commandments are not rocket science there to protect love and give us one day a week for family to come together to celebrate love and got each other was us, even a question. Great point. Some say why is the question of this and say yeah but but look once you say that Sabbath is changed in any way that it's either not the seventh day, with its reserve spiritually then you said at least one of the commandments changed so this for conversation.

Of course, take issue with the way pessimism is that it is forwarding dialogue about all right, let's go to Brady in Texas what your take on pastor Stanley's comments about the 10 Commandments hi Dr. Brown would agree with them.

I would say they still are relevant today because it's irrelevant. He said apply but but go ahead okay will apply for today because you told you didn't come to do away with all kind of fillet and even though were not under the law. I believe that still a moral law, and I still believe each commandment applies because I mean, even when breaking one that still stand and print still applies to us today and ended applicable and that's how we make now we get our moral and got very clear on it. You know you not, and give us 10 commandment change anything urgent. Do away with what he said got it so so what you do with that. The Sabbath commandment have you live that out. Well I would say I still believe it applies for Saturday because I know people. I think they bring up Clawson, Kyle Mike. Don't let anyone judge you from a holy day in and talk smelling your man and then then it's a Sabbath day, but I think with Sabbath days, there was like a year one like work six years in the 70 year then and there is like the monster so I don't think it's regarding to the specific commandment day yeah but I would differ with you on it especially when it says that the shadows in the Sabbath. The substances in the Messiah but you could still say he was saying. Just don't let anyone put you under pressure is a Gentile supposed to catch up that's that's a discussion obviously thought about it.

Jack in Texas can't get your call that you want to support what has this deficit anyways will continue this discussion, relevant article on his next day or two, and tomorrow if you follow the hug. He is an attorney and tomorrow is your data calling with estrogens and issues for me
