Pastor has an urgent prophetic warning for the church for the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown printscreen really are living in a times and the answer is found on our knees in the presence of God, crying out to our father for mercy for revival, for awakening, and then doing our part, the great commission ambassadors to the world around us about to be joined by guest dear friend, coworker, internationally respected leader in the body author leading Christian thinker without not just a prayer initiative but a strong burden great concern about where we are today and beyond the elections. The bottom of the hour we going to get to subject I didn't get to yesterday which is a disagreement between John MacArthur and Andy Stanley whether the whole church gatherings or not and how we sort these things out doing the constructive God honoring way and if you want to weigh in, or have a question 866-34-TRUTH without further do my dear friend to ship Dr. Joseph Matera Joe, thanks much for joining us today and honor to be with you and I appreciate so much all the amazing work you do.

The body of Christ will thanks thank you and I know you have a funeral to go to with the passing of your mother.

Lawsuits of grace to your wife into the family and thanks for taking time right before the funeral. Really appreciate all of thanks again for having me carving out time now. I do want to share with everyone the important prayer initiative that you have been working on for many weeks now, but you texted earlier, some that you felt was the prophetic one he received I've known you for years you very rarely do this, but what we struck, by which the urgency what's the nature of this word okay well last week during one of our corporate prayer meetings in a local church. One of our powerful intercessors prayed something and it was, I believe, prophetically inspired not have to do about the church restarting the next four months and basically I got a download and interpreted that with more extensive explanation of the prayer and basically I believe that the next four months. The church will have to really hear from the Lord, the remnant church, especially and not just go by the Chronos not just go by the Chronos time. That is, you know what all the media, the avalanche of the stuff of elections and just getting caught up in so busy that we missed the visitation Carlos moment. I believe God is about to burst on the scene with an incredible wave of revival and renewal and he wants to do some incredible things in our midst, not just in the buildings on Sunday glittered in the workplace and everywhere so sense that the next four months will determine the next 30 years for the church in those churches that are sensitive to the Holy Spirit will understand the reset will understand new methodologies in new ways of thinking and doing things not compromising the message for changing the methodologies and knowing exactly what God wants to do so, the next four months will determine the next 30 years or the body of Christ and the crater we have ears to hear that the second thing I sensed along with that would be that this period of time is going to distinguish the wheat from the chaff not only methodologies but in who is really from God what to do to run the churches and know who were those who are just going about their business and not really doing anything but maintaining the status quo and so I outdistanced there was a week and chaff separation and it's also been a reveal of false leaders from true leaders of those who are operating in all flesh will be revealed no be more scandalous. Perhaps I don't know if that's what is part of it, but the pastors and leaders and Christians would not dependent upon the Lord will not have what it takes to make it in these days and so that's the second thing I sensed and I think that in times of weariness. The third time I sent William Tonja weariness and testing people be tempted to make life altering decisions before they know how the dust will settle and because they're operating in their own natural strength and not in the grace of God to make really bad reactive decisions and so again we need to know what God is saying not make life altering decisions during times of weariness continued pushing through until God gives the victory and then at the other side of this, whatever that means in terms of a break during the spirit will be able to know what God is calling us to do but do not make rash decisions during times of intense testing and weariness to the third part of that interpretation and Joe then asked this again you you been around as I have for decades in the frontlines of Christian ministry, you have a strong social conscience you work in multiethnic settings in international settings as well so I I asked this question in the light of the. The larger burden vision.

You carry for years if the church does not respond rightly to the Lord in these days if if we miss this divine moment, as were in revolutionary upheaval and society in many negative and destructive ways and it's it and at the same time. It's a massive opportunity for the church if if we kind of slumber our way through this revolution. What could the consequences be for a nation for the church in the future will first of all I think the nation was on the verge of imploding and that was the impetus for this prayer initiative that we began and so in terms of our communities and nations. We are know that there's a real critical task in front of the church to see a great awakening just to salvage our nation.

That's one thing. The second thing is if the church doesn't respond to God's doing now the body of Christ will continue to be more more irrelevant, more more juice flowing with the wind and tide of culture and becoming echoes of pop culture. Instead of being a voice from the Lord and many pastors think that they're being relevant by being quote unquote woke pastors on their can I have some huge issues in the future when they see a lot of division in their churches and it's already happening. So God hasn't called us to be cool is called us to be prophetic, and I believe this again at separating the wheat from the chaff's global line list of all of this upheaval. I've been reading a lot of Von Harper the last six months of trying to get wisdom from God as to how to respond as he had respond in the midst of a whole nation turning against Christianity. Unfortunately, many of the Christians of his day went along with the Reich church and espoused on biblical ideologies so that they could maintain a cultural status and unfortunately wishing that today are more more with people feel pressured to acquiesce to secular humanistic cultural framework yet it wheat we need to really step back, understand, and act wisely before the Lord. So let's talk about this prayer initiative was division is and how people can be involved.

Yes, well, somebody could go to US CAL .us US CAL .us and everything is on the websites are basically three online national prayer meetings.

We have one on September 16. Another October 14 and another November 1, two days before the election and the role from 7 to 9 PM at night to all online is no physical gatherings.

In addition to that were asking everybody to start. As of September 1 to rotate the leader of the church, and you can have a virtual calendar and make sure that every day you have at least one person in the church – client and I'm starting Monday, October 5 until November 4, the day after the election were asking for everybody to join together within 30 days – corporately fast and fast. The way you know you can do it.

I mean everybody has a different physical limitation shall not curtailing at a fast some people to do a juice – some vegetable fast so move fast two meals, you define a between the Algarve were asking everyone to take this time serious fast corporately with thousands of other Christians between October 5 and November for the day after the election. Now here's the question we praying we focusing on the elections in our prayer was that part of the larger prayer burden will as I examine the Scriptures. I believe that the biggest challenge with community and cultures is always God's people. Whenever God's people stopped vertically seeking the Lord and instead be entertained. The idols of culture could be a statue could be entertainment. It could be anything of then the nation began to regression go away from God and so our focus is seeking God's face not his hand, which the church repented, which the church going after God which the church problem solved, and he doesn't even tells and second Chronicles 714, which is the basis of curable land initiative. Tell us in that passage to pray for the land to be healed.

It's interesting to settle heal the land automatically church we just start seeking in space and so you know, I've always maintained my core values in my life and not going crazy with overpressure leadership by delighting in the Lord by having Jordan God, for God's sake, not because I want my family fuel door financially used to call more know even for the nation.

I found it as I delight in the Lord. Everything else takes care of itself, which makes it so imagine if the whole body of Christ began to vertically see God's face and repent now doesn't mean that we should pray for the elections tells us in first Timothy two. Pray for kings and all those who are in authority, that we may look probably quiet life to the gospel to go for. So part of our initiative, we will pray for the nation and for the election, but these large taxes.

Prayer was not land and for scented redneck with Bishop Joseph Matera, learning plan and gives the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown transfer by speaking Tara talking about this important prayer initiative which is started a few days ago, prayer, fasting, seeking God, crying out to God and looking to God in repentance understanding that we God's people are called to be salt and light Celica country where there is one of us reverie 10 million people in the country.

There are multiply tens of millions of born-again believers in America. If we are awake and if we live godly and righteous lives.

Then the nation will be impacted as a whole. Joel, what are some of the greatest concerns right now. It's a giant question. You could talk about it for hours but in the few minutes we have similar greatest concerns about the state of the church in America today yeah well you know all nobodies drugs are not going to be an expert, but I just think that generally speaking, no matter what Epoque were living in Wethersfield because the New Testament whether it's the 1950s or the 2020s. The greatest challenge that we will always have is idolatry. Idolatry is the worst sandwich worse than any kind of sexual standard murder.

That was the sin that causes God to judge Israel in the Old Testament. More than anything else but David was called the God of man after God's heart even though he committed adultery and even murder but because he had a heart of God immediately retracted God gave him. But then you see subsequent kings, one after mastering other gods of the day goes well for them and greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all the heart the first of the 10 Commandments is to have no other gods before him, and I believe each of those commandments was laid out relating to of the importance of the first commandment is more important every other commandment, etc. so I believe the greatest concern is always having a heart that after God that we don't use God just for benefits and unfortunately I think that Christians are just praying for the elections and they're not fully allowed for God. I think it's an insult to God for happy Christians to pray for their candidates get elected because they don't want to suffer the inconvenience of persecution or the loss of their first or second amendment rights. I think that more importantly than the elections is that the elect seek God's face more than his hand. So that's always the biggest concern is always little theological nuances. The other things we could talk about but to me it all goes boils down to loving the Lord first. More than anything else. I think we need a revival of God in our churches, not a revival of healing or faith of the gifts of the spirit will prayer all that comes with it but has to be a revival of loving God, for God's sake, not for anything else.

That's it.

That's tremendously profound comment.

Suppose it isn't. I was struck what you said at the end of the last segment that submits kept you strong in the midst of ministry of pastoral ministry in Brooklyn couldn't have been easy all these all these years, and then the citywide ministry and all of that but you said that you you put your delight in God and that that's been something our hearts been stirred afresh for the seeking for him to be with him for him to focus on worshiping him, rather than all the work burden to do for hammer burden for the nation.

I mean those things flow out of it but it has to start with with a God consciousness.

And as as we turned to him. Is it too late for the nation.

Have we gone too far to to recover things or to move into a divine destiny is. Is it too late. We always going to be deeply messed up because of choices we made was it possible that we could see a revival of righteousness in the country. Well, I think, what we look at the first great awakening with George Whitfield and John Wesley received the state of England and it was horrific with drunkenness and immorality of prostitution. Hardly anyone really going to church and the awakening swept through their nation and I believe say England we saw the same thing in the second great awakening around the very beginnings of the 19th century there was some places there was no baptisms for 30 years right after the Revolutionary war, the state of religious minorities that were sunk to a very very low place the name came along. People like Charles Finney who were able to bring revival to the masses that awaken the church and to the state was still feeling the effects of the second great awakening. I don't believe it's never too late for nation. I think God is greater than COBIT if the whole nation could be shut down in one month. God could sleep through nation one day so I never, never underestimate God says is there anything too hard for me right. Jeremiah 33. Nothing is too hard for God so just focused on them more than anything else, absolutely and she said it starts with a revival of God. Everything else close, and that knowing him, seeking him, honoring him worshiping him, he friends and we refer you to push Matera's website Joseph Matera.org that's M ATT EERA.org influencing leaders who influence culture get his podcast you'll be enriched, especially if your leadership or ministry subscribed to get all the materials that are available and Joe all one last time. How can folks be part of this prayer initiative where they go short thank you just go to US CAL.US US CAL .us and all the pertinent information is there and the warrior will list the beginning of the fast and lustrous. Get with it. Do the best we can try to get on at least one of these three online prayer meetings and get on all three that better… Let's just see God like never sorted not just so that the land will be healed, but that we could be a God honoring people once again where we delight in the Lord, the Lord's sake. Hey, thanks for joining us. God's grace on your family and with this funeral today and at this this way should we should be living right now. It's a very sobering moment in American and world history but a moment that could be massively redemptive hate. Thanks. What you do look forward to seeing you again face-to-face soon yes my friend going out again.

I covered less 866342's serious times and I love what Joe said that more important elections is for the elect seek God's face.

The truth is what we must do.

Let me share my heart about something else and then bottom of the hour changing subjects. In fact, let's do the cell phone is open 866-34-TRUTH. Do you feel it past MacArthur's right in saying we have to defy the law we have to gather as believers, we can't worry about the risk of covert and it's absolutely minimal. Anyway, and in the law as being oppressive. Right now or we take the approach of Andy Stanley. Your best to honor authorities recognize hate the NBA can have audiences and spectators in the NFL can major league baseball can everybody's being affected. We can do the work of the gospel perfectly well without all meeting in the same place strong stance your own view 866-34-TRUTH but to share my heart honestly about something else. I wrote an article been having some unmindful while in dialogue with black brothers and sisters wrote an article asking what if it had been black slaveowners and Masters that had come over to America from Africa and the whites were sold into slavery. What if white Americans had been sold the slaves to Africa. I understand that whites have been sold into slavery differences. I understand that that wasn't the issue. The question was this current turntable for minute here the horrors of it that the agony the shipping of the full terrible description put in their living Blacks sign whites into slavery with cooperation of whites that were part of the slave trade as well okay then centuries later in Africa. Slavery was abolished.

Segregation is abolished, but white Africans found themselves say net value household value 1/10 of of their black counterparts of lower educational opportunities, higher crime rates were broken families, and on and on.

Even if systemic racism did not exist wouldn't be logical to say this must be the legacy from the past is the reason these these whites are in a worse state than the black counterparts must be a legacy of of centuries of slavery and segregation is that I'm not when is to describe guilt nor my encouraging victimhood.

Everyone's responsible for their own laws. The same wouldn't it be logical to say hey we are bad past and we still have some of the scores of it relevant today manifest today and I know I get it from both sides of my black friends and even go enough to deny systemic racism today for my wife and simply try to put a guilt trip on us.

Of course I dealt with the things in the article, but the whole goal was empathetic understanding the whole goal was to challenge the white friends to see things a bit more through the eyes the black friends and making generalizations here below I find interesting. The same people literature me when I expose BLM activism in Marxism and witchcraft see people cheering me on. When I expose LGBT Q activism, extremism when I address an issue like this estimation stay with the gospel.

You're hurting your testimony use preach Christ an increase but I find that very interesting. They're all for it.

When addressing certain social and cultural issues and see that as part of the gospel but I say hey can you have a little more empathetic understanding how many black Americans to stay with gospel get off track.

I find that very interesting thing is that we will file the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown elf text me afterwards that he will give you a week if that comes in up to 5000 doublet for Jewish outreach of you watching on Facebook. Just click on donate, donate button. There and that gift will be double if you watch it on YouTube. Click on the $that will be double leaking descended into Esther to Brown that are click on donate designate Jewish ministry. All right, Pastor John MacArthur every outspoken way to the point of even getting called by Pres. Trump for his stand has said we have to say no to the government meet together as churches and I agree with him and Pastor Andy Stanley has said no we need to work with the government and find other ways to gather outside of our Lord's church gatherings and I agree with him, each in its context will talk about that 866-34-TRUTH. But first we go to the phones our friend fail in Greensboro, North Carolina. Looking back to the line of fire.Dr. Brown I thought he could do. Give me an email except for the fact okay we will we will get that for you all have one of my guys posted. And then some of give it to. So when you're done talking to me. II had a friend give it out that I have in front of me so of stay on the stand the line when were done right and then some will give to that. So go ahead and call the court. I agree with brother Bill about my carrier required I would have gotten better at week about voting 11,, abide in our hotel and down about that that we get so involved in the law and not relationship God not related to not like all called no one wall, no matter way to keep the law of the way that God wanted to come from the heart right like picket written not being recalled in my half of one ticket so we went down now about the boat and everything is about repentance and actually been laying that God allowed the development of the family to return back to him and start looking at government while while thought, I think not been in office right now so many things that reveal about yes about people and so I agree with him. Quality is about relationship. All yeah and and and fail. By the way I did as you were speaking I II remembered where to go. Its US cow US CAL.US so US CAL.US fail incessantly surprised some folks I plan to vote for Donald Trump versus Joe Biden, but I don't know what God's ultimate choice for America is in. In other words, what will be best for America could be that worse times have to come on us. Could it be that greater opposition has dries for the church. Could it be that the. The key is is not having good justices and judges in place but ones that are going to go against her agenda because the church is looking too much to man and is not seeking God and not leading the way.

Repentance and that is can be more pain in order to get healing.

I don't pray for I never ever have. Pray God bring this whenever that one in, I pray Lord, your will. I vote accordingly and I encourage everyone to be involved in and vote according to their conscious convictions into see were the party stand and evaluate things but I pray God your will be done for the best long-term interest of your people in this nation. Hey, thank you for calling him 866-34-TRUTH before I get your take on agreement or disagreement with terms of Pastor John MacArthur and and Pastor Andy Stanley want to say that I have no problem differing with her professors John MacArthur knows quite well read different with a very strong fight for the whole book he wrote strange fry with authentic fire differing with him. He knows that full well.

And I respect and honor him and Stanley and I connected with me having differences with him and he knows strongly. I just disagree with a lot of his Mercury irresistible and I joke with him. I need to write a book way understand these irresistible must be resisted. And yet, in this case I agree with both of their perspectives within their specific contexts, but let me take you through a few articles and then I'll get your take Christian post reported this John MacArthur urges churches to challenge government and reopen amid pandemic. Andy Stanley disagrees.

So these are two of the most prominent pastors in America known around the world this is.

This is big news.

So Pastor John MacArthur and Andy Stanley were both influential Christian leaders presented dueling advice and how churches should respond to government restrictions with the pandemic this week with MacArthur urging Pastor stoping because the supposed need for indefinite lockdowns is a lie while Stanley recommended cooperation school that a few paragraphs. Being a pastor, because this is major truth teller. That means your truth teller when it comes to the Bible that means you protect your people from deception, a comes from the world. That's part of being a shepherd. You want to aid and abet the lie. This is a line you can't necessarily say that everybody that's involved in it is an ulterior motive, with allies dominating need to be truth teller.

Review homework. I would say the pastors have church open up have church don't have to fear some is good. Died on left for you to get sick because then I can be able to trace this back.

I haven't seen anything like that anywhere. Health mandates and governors and outlaw. I don't think you have to fear that you need to help the church because this of all times people fears within each come I don't think you need to give a clinical explanation think you need to have welcome them and not make the follow protocol that you know is pointless now. Andy Stanley says this old. It's just go down towards the end of the article, Andy Stanley says this in light of what's happening now. There's no reason to push back because I think every evidences, or state, local and federal governments trying to figure out really big problem.

Nobody's trying to shut down the church in America list. We think there's a link between SEC football NFL NBA everything else it's been shut down.

I can speak to what's going on in California like everybody else and just read the news can imagine a scenarioremark with the on grouping picked on as the church elicits a specific local church, but every local church must operate within certain guidelines given the government. Have you ever tried to get a land disturbance permit. So because of fire codes, building codes is okay for the government to speak into when we meet noise ordinances goes on and on cement that is new. Most cases those codes restrictions good for the community and the local church. Once you file your building built so don't think what's happening in our country is honors so he saying hey look, love your neighbor work with the authorities don't make things more difficult for them. They really have enough problems to deal with and they're trying to deal with this evenly and honestly and we can meet all kinds of ways and house groups.

In ASSENT, then using the flip side will hang on, you live in California. We are told we can gather, but we can't sing with told we can't meet and hungry for Bible studies. The protesters on the street they can do what they do. But we can't meet in ways we think this whole thing was bogus, as were meeting a nobody's getting sick and dying this whole thing is being exaggerated or if you live in the state of Nevada where the governor said while casinos can meet at half capacity scares me.

But if you have church gathering your church elicits 2000 you can among 50 people. What and when a church group met the casino. The casinos find double standards or those so I understand both positions and when I wrote my book when the world stops.

If you don't have it. It's totally relevant today. We wrote to come out in the midst the pandemic, little knowing that months and months and months later would still be right in the midst of the same situation, but I counseled obey the government at that time.

Book him out since March 26 or more teaching commitments 26 and finished it rather than came out less than a month later I said honor government at this point and love your neighbor. Don't be stomach bug.

However, when there are unequal things I mentioned, Rodney Howard Brown, Florida, and was time to push back then push back so I've said for months now it is time to push back because of the unequal treatment but I also know also pastors that kicked up their meetings again manifest all the men had to cancel step back personally. People got sick and it would happen as well. Here's another article John MacArthur's is true believers will vote for Trump can affirm abortion and trans activism, and this was on a phone call presidential calling John MacArthur after his taking a stance and we will meet and John McCarthy explains few scribblers will vote for Trump can't affirm abortion and trans activism that what was getting on people's attention and I will say this to condemn or criticize this. John MacArthur for decades has been known for not having political involvement being outspoken uncompromising on social issues could never compromise the drop never apologize for the Bible says most commended him for that but is pretty much said stay out of the pump political realm, so there is an article on the grace to you website.

Why does John avoid political issues and politics, interesting to read this now.

Why does John avoid political issues and politics and goes through five reasons. First, political involvement requires time and energy from a pastor that should be spent on shepherding the flock second.

Effective politics requires co-belligerency to promote a common cause resist common enemy third political changes at best only superficial and temporary fourth political involvement can easily confuse the message to the church for political engagement often turns the church's mission into the enemy's understand and agree with a lot of that and yet there is a very other side to the story which is not coming out now when John MacArthur wrote his book why government can't save you, Tim Wildman wrote of from American family Association wrote an article redeeming culture not contrary to sharing the gospel of Christ and his was really interesting.

Tim quotes John MacArthur saying this right, we are to obey every civil authority, no matter how immoral, cruel, ungodly, or incompetent, he or she may be missing. The United States was actually born out of a violation of New Testament principles that was we revolted so is very interesting and I'm… Be critical. All all of us are in process on a journey that how interesting that John MacArthur, please consider every civil authority letter how immoral cooling of the company now say the survey in government on telling a very interesting it's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 6634 through here again is Dr. Michael Brown my friends for joining us. I have encouraged pastors in California to stand up do they feel is right across the nation. I have urged pastors and leaders to hear God for their for their own lives for their own congregations to get wisdom from above to not respond either to interfere or spirit of fear, on the one hand, or to be moved by a spirit of independence and rebellion. We do everyone to do on the other hand, step back at the heart and mind of God do it's best for your congregation and your community so want to hear from you 866-34-TRUTH we start with Laura in Raleigh, North Carolina. Welcome to the line of fire hello good afternoon. My deadline for likely we need to stand firm and may I deftly believe I stand John MacArthur buddies doing it is that we will have a no darker days and I think the really watching something happy like that arise this year is been very interesting and that we just like that lady said about what you talk about the deriding going out on bond of peace will demonstrate now what to getting away when it ended. That way if you got that many people doing at but then do not being at churches light come on you know something's up trying to think the church is closed more more more and I hate to ask you what we need to do now out like a mask and now Michelle is that now is interesting so anyway I understand what and not landlord and just to stand firm got it. I argue right thank you for going in.

I appreciate it.

That's Laura from Raleigh I will love us to North Carolina and go over to Vicki and Charlotte which are take hello Dr. Brown thinking Haven agreement. Primary John MacArthur and Colin Katona. We all belong to the dam and you remember when Pharaoh trapped detail on Moses okay where danger and in the way you can worship but the women will have to stay. I think we should worship.the way God wants us to worship him and and it's about how the pandemic a lot of that don't even know all that. If this if you think that's true any plan something stop opening up and people relaxed and start acting normally bad, with some Kennebec number to keep us under control. I think the church is shipped though hitting me that passage you mentioned is is very interesting.

I never thought of. In this context with with grousing to go but only these can go. Moses know we all go interesting. Hey, thank you for the call. I appreciate 866-34-TRUTH.

Let's go to Charles in Chicago, Illinois.

Welcome to the line of fire run are you doing well. Thank you. Great to be on enjoying the last few college had actually agree with them. I do sandwich I MacArthur I think the difference here and when you register as well and on his stance.

However, I think the difference here with this situation is the fight was brought to his doorstep and caught the biter.

He didn't go out actively or proactively, not on any kind of political level.

The mayor in all of Los Angeles brought the fight to his doorstep and he stood up so that we are to seek a similar argument to be made for the start of the American Revolution well-known the American Revolution was a decision made by our forefathers in L2 for independence right now mean the question was, was the fight brought to them was their hands forced this just another thought to hate Charles II appreciate you weighing in very much. Thank you, 866-34-TRUTH of what we can flood it with our North Carolina friends today, but we been on North Carolina daily for five days a week for 12 years so that makes sense of back over to Charlotte Norman what's on your mind. Hello a document like take my call. My question was just as far as what you read about John MacArthur saying that if you are correct that if you are true Christian, you have to vote for trauma or you should be voting for truck and my question was are there any I guess inconsistencies with people that support that viewpoint versus those that basically condemn one Joe Biden said if you're black you have to vote. You can't vote for truck SRA does not recline the Indic income for their and if so, or hypocrisy of so what what are the dangers that you wonderful?

Number one, I could argue that you comparing apples with oranges in that singular true Christian means that you have certain moral values senior black or white, doesn't imply moral choices or as you might be about Christian, you might be a black Muslim you might be a black atheist you might be a black secularist to whatever right same as being white suit.

On the one hand, you could say you comparing apples with oranges in that being black or being white has no morality or lack thereof associated with it.

However, I think we could push the point would be that that there are many things that come with 40 for Donald Trump that are not Christian that you can say are or immoral or that are negative so to make that blanket statement yet look from my perspective, sir understand how any true believer to vote for a candidate who supports abortion, just like I couldn't understand is under 50 years ago how we could vote for any candidate that supported slavery than others will push back and say what about this issue or this issue or this issue so while I personally will be voting in harmony with John MacArthur's perspective.

Under no circumstances will I judge the Christian faith or brother or sister their thoughts otherwise. And I would urge them not to judge the Christian faith of someone who in turn foods for Donald Trump versus Joe Biden hate. Thank you. The call I'm glad you raised the question 6634 truth was about time for some more calls. Let's go over to Atlanta, Georgia Martin, welcome to the line of fire. Doing well all I agree with and and might do it because you mentioned that you don't think about love and worship him in spirit and withdrawn the carpet. Not like they're telling him they can worship they just can't worship together indoors and have defined low by doing it door. No man there are people who are still worshiping what they're doing.

According to the regulation so I understand why John MacArthur is being expelled. If you read Romans 13 all government is established by go Government go government government governing put there by go to God's will is smart to let me just ask you one question is, as a satellite. I appreciate interest in these perspectives well and you are agreeing with the past and Stanley is as well. Is there any point we disobey the government no okay Romans 13 all government established by God. They are going to want to get what you got got got the pack because I brought you up for this very purpose that my baby did you go look at Nebuchadnezzar that was God.if you look at farmers that was gone. I I appreciate your perspective and ST 20 Sharon just asked a follow-up question is I don't want to insert my viewpoint. I wanted what you folks to biblical years, but Martin, thanks for for raising your point here okay get you more because I can't get to 1° was passed.

MacArthur one disagree. So we try to balance that maybe will take this up and in the days ahead. This spirit can be a relevant question if you don't have my book still with you. You will find it totally relevant for everything going on in the society today, even more so than when I wrote it in late March that limit to sit this one thing about Romans 13 yes, God raises up governmental leaders for different purposes and sometimes it's for judgment sometimes is for blessing sometime.

It's for judgment but it's important for us to remember this, that the purpose of government is appointed by God in Romans 13 is to do good to be a terror to those who are evildoers, but to be a help to those who do good and then the question would be what if government does not function as God intended, but a whole discussion we need to have and will do our best to have a whole hour to get your calls but thanks weighing in.
