As I drive I will part not so much. This is not entertaining prior John Gruden Oakland final year the Raiders are in Oakland where they leave for Vegas last night I was watching and I pulled out the notes Apple my phone. I just started scribbling things down. You want me to go through the complete list of things I have written down Justo my notes Watching this hard knocks episode. I have Gruden written down and about eight bullet point, we've learned that I have an all right John Gruden impression. It's not great by any means but Dez thinks it's actually pretty good. It is building up my confidence during commercials to tell me that this is actually okay so are you. Do you think it's good enough for me to bring back out this this John Gruden limited impression that I as long as you stay within yourself. Don't get to crazier I'm gonna read the notes I have on the hard knocks episode last night in John Gruden's voice. He John Gruden visited the dreams man these in the nightmares stealing somebody's dream. He's also somebody who complains about the things the way things used to be a typo in my own notes right here man by posing here at the first thing he said in the episode.

He said don't be late. Don't be overweight, use common sense. No hazing man Eric Carr was a really good pass. He says you like this often spent. Then he sees a number 63 walking good news not playing defensive line, and he asks them a why you wearing that number with this guy, this guy right here indeed is where the right number man is worried about an undrafted rookies jersey number. Then he asks Mike Marriott in a team meeting a is is it legal for us to wear pads at this point, it's what you want to coach to say is it legal for us to do this here. These compliance officers.

Why do we got them around ultimate schmoozer a come on some routes. A family walk up to hey I like the Raiders a habit to come on the field and some routes will be Ricardo you will football man spider do what banana go on the flat throw you out route man. That's the degree of what I have written on John Gruden. It is all written on this note and in seeing Antonio Brown is in the headlines. Apparently the reason why his feet were quote sore why he was running rats was because he decided not to wear an issue where inside a cryogenic chamber which can go down to 200+ degrees under below freezing the picture of his feet does not look good.

No, I'm not a foot person Rex Ryan got really excited. Looking at those Antonio Brown who he also somebody is fighting to make everybody on that team like him.

He says things that just don't make sense. He said quote I'm just here like everybody else try to make the team know you're not. You don't believe that nobody else believes that nobody believes that you're fighting for a spot like Ronald Ali over here the guy from last chance you made an appearance before Princeton, Buckner had enough Princeton Buckner Buckner in the episode everybody. I love Brinson Buckner that defensive line all that four-man front Buckner Chris Jenkins but penned it and run a rockery Jenkins Buckner Rucker peppers will always be my favorite defensive line. Back when I was emotionally attached to the pan where I was married, peppers, jerseys, and Stephen Davis jersey.

Do you consider old Kentucky roundabouts receiving a renewal now the full likely reframe them like that last night the best receiver in the layman for the testicle. He he walked he was the best receiver in the game last two years like he's the first wide receiver I ever considered for being an MVP candidate last year or two years ago he was that receiving yards. What he did for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was the most valuable player on the team. It rarely happens. For wide receivers but what I say is the basket get player in the game moving forward in his age.

We not only DeAndre Hopkin speak it. It's good to be hard with those feet Cleveland Harry Farrell is good to be a star in our not.

He was the most entertaining interview of any college athlete I've spoken to in the last few years. Farrell also you are you will probably person not heard after the draft.

It was like I'm okay with component.

Don't get me started a great reasons for don't get me started about the draft nonsense.

It's the first time I never I didn't read the draft stuff ahead of time what Kuyper was saying and all these people. I don't want to take shots of those people they know what they're talking about. They watch the games but you don't you you fans don't a lot of you don't you don't have the access that the player that the coaches do and that the GM steward you don't put the work that these guys put into evaluate these players so when the fans are mad football gurus with the air quotes are mad Cleveland ferrules ticket number four I asked. I was in a room. I was with a lot of football fans who said what are they doing to good what you mean Kuyper nobody had a knowing there okay but we can all agree Cleveland Farrell was good differs from graphic.

All of those comes up it's one you to be first-round draft picks so it is like is like a little bit more than they like Christian Wilkins like a little bit more than they like Dexter Lawrence. It's the same beef I have with Daniel Jones the way the people were upset about that you can criticize the evaluation of the prospect. How do you think that guys better than Duane Haskins. But the philosophy if you believe in the giants that they have much more information than we do the Giants believe Daniel Jones the franchise quarterback. So they picked him six philosophy is you don't wait when you think you have a franchise quarter back for him to come around.

At 17, hoping that somebody else doesn't agree with you.

Agree with your assessment disguise franchise quarter back. They took on their Jones. It's very unfair very up there. What they did do you what they did to you and criticizing the pic I felt coming out of the blue brush from the draft loan for you know who her friends are in room bathroom.

I mean you are what you think about that when those cottages watching on TV and I thought he seems pretty nice when you knew me already got our own balls, which are before you will remember you had mine remember Coach cut came down to do and I was single, inside you like this out over there he was like this will take your job and you are okay and walked off the conversation. I don't member that I thought that was Cooper no special brother. Oh yeah that's right it is my brother and seeing don't get me started about that nonsense you have anything left in my notes let me say I got very is essentially John Gruden is the same person is junkyard listen here man meticulously rebel know that's not got very serious on the government now is John Gruden and John Gruden's got Gary listen here meant working to go into some banners and dives, my man, that sounds like John Gruden trying to do a God-fearing press got Gary asked me what my favorite dessert is just asked me what my favorite dessert is very quickly. I want a chocolate spider to why banana Sunday but what I want wish I got a list or do you have the bell ready to go.

It's my five in honor of all of these things being on ESPN2. Today is ESPN eight Jo Jo day in honor of dodgeball which I view to be one of the best sports comedies of all time. I have my top five sports comedies ever taught by sports comedies ever.

I'm looking at a screen right now, they're playing Tetris. It's entertaining, probably not isn't entertaining as his radio show, but close close watching Tetris on television. ESPN eight my number five sports movie sports comedies of all time sports comedy 1.4 major league number three Talladega nights to dodgeball number one check ongoing thing with you weaving the public for which I scream regarding football movies now that you can't be great. You got one your top five top five sports comedies of all time went by the fall, it wouldn't. It's not supposed to be there may suffer what you been saying before now. Someone think saying that just because you're great sports comedy doesn't mean you are a great movie like also. Bull Durham do we count that as a comedy. I don't know how bull Durham is a common yeah I think Boulder could be 30 copyright that would be number one on the less I think it's more of a romance movie. Now that's a love story. The main plot the right-click. I can't put that into the same category as Talladega nights and Caddy shack all the movies he named were great movies.

My point was you put a football movie in there on top of that I have a list. It's a separate list that dodgeball belongs in top five comedies of the 2000 give me some Nickelback. After each of these real quick sets of talking about the 2000 chairman Darren about tomorrow. Number five forgetting Sarah Marshall is the one forgotten what you did there. Number four dodgeball number three anchorman is still the hangover number one comedy of the 2000s stepbrother super ethical make it with little it was). While it was really hard. It was very tough. That number five spot. I had super bad right there.

It was tough to leave that one out.

But I mean: had to be left out simply for the sports less happy Gilmore and slapshot were left out on Twitter at sports of dry we will re-visit this, we certainly will do that after a conference finals appearance happy Carolina hurricanes completely lost their minds. Should we trust that their got that they've got this here will discuss with the award-winning columnist from the new Raleigh news and Observer looked the cop when he joined his neck do or say you live with just grand force have 609 20 joined by Lou parliament from the Raleigh news and that even though you like what I'm talking about Carolina hurricanes hockey. It also doesn't feel like this off-season could have been as much of the hurricanes the last few months.

When you consider the fact that such a slamdunk that you bring John porcelain that if you are calm and it comes down to the very last second, that it of course is a slamdunk that you bring back Sebastian Ho and match the offer of the Montréal Canadiens, but the Canadians were the first team in six years to extend an offer sheet in the hurricanes of course matched it. Now Don Waddell who was the executive of the year in the NHL.

This past season who helped put together this team that went to the conference finals we learned just a few days ago. His contract is up.

So essentially he's a free agent right now Eddie's interviewing in person with the Minnesota wild so Luke I only want to ask you this, namely should this off-season has been have been as being this much about toothache for hurricanes fans the fall.Yolanda mapping Diablo offers they wanted right back to back. Matt goes back a guideline will reagent.

They traded all bad thing. Goal being on the I look like product you think there's a lot like all play devils advocate their stated, you may not have been everyone but no, certainly I think are pretty promising and dropping some of the week you're right right you know a goalscoring waiver.

You know better backup goalie. When you look at Bill pretty pretty pretty good getting ready and that's where I usually arrived words when it comes to hurricanes fans. I would just advise they trust the process because everything to your point dungeon has done to this point release most of it is work, especially when juxtaposed next to what we saw the previous nine seasons didn't not even a playoff appearance, but when you consider letting Michael Furlan what okay that's just business trading away Calvin the hot, okay you get Arakawa back today really like John porcelain, though not drama and the host stuff. It seemed like, and now this with Don Waddell. It seems like it's it's a no-brainer. What they should do here and it is the process that's the toothache and remember that, bought the team and are going to do things differently. I think the way to what it may not always going to jibe with what other radio do not going verily make that and that mean he's right or were right to be different and I think a lot of what you doing you know we hold people back from leading brother dropped okay will find we are talking about an account will differ when you're talking general manager must be 430 think a lot of the you know that I can be right functional to have your president and general manager interviewing for another GM job weight. That is not a good way to run a professional corporate type thing.

Okay I think I'm done the point that he making very clearly is I don't value general manager. I think they're all pretty much the same legal and point a year ago when they promoted Don from the interim, permanent GM job. A lot of people were very happy about that. That tenure with the rafters was not particularly good and they remember that because the hurricane letters probably go you know that these things are all kind of fluid timing is terrible, terrible, you know, I think probably blown up on them in a way that they didn't do, but it's also in keeping with the weight of the franchise in an critic.

I being cheap and I think that was a little bit behind.

This guy is so cheap. No way will help me.

I think you can look at a few ways when it comes to paying general managers and coaches and people like you very cheap value that other in a joking case of obesity and the people acquired. You know they've added a lot of Valerie that it Valerie with a single eight Marlowe contract get something out of it or things like that the property despite all the upfront money so you have all with a black and white situation the lighter gray. I think the issue isn't here is much you know about the way the way this is being handled at the timing is just really bad you don't want the kind of junction, like right now who whatever we may think of the general manager and and and GM of the year you when it is tenure at have been invaluable stabilizing the franchise so you losing your general manager there may be other people you can make trade called and they have it depleted been doing my committee anyway you Waddell phenomenal general manager franchise would create even more disruption of one L1 week so that the issue is much of anything yet really cheap.

That's really hard for NHL people understand because they put a lot of value on general manager that cult of personality around the Goodyear you think that one guy that got away down the look that it is he waited three people again that we people professional sport and jarring for everyone to see it play out visibly to talk with the seer from the Raleigh news and Observer on twitter, I saw news yesterday. I'm less interested in the acquisition, the hurricanes bringing in a defenseman from San Jose.

I'm more interested in who actually called the league office who actually made this trait happened because Don Waddell has is not under current track right yeah all waiting for a phone call from Daniel already meeting Thursday deals without a contract and know a lot of people do their job without any bylaws or tampering every reason require general manager to be under contract by December after having a general manager so I fight under contract number or tampering because of their camper and will that will Don Waddell have been doing the president and general manager job June 30. He was when he was under contract that the idea that you that they haven't had a general manager for two months. He was the one who back and made phone call poverty so you know that doing his job contract need a wild and talk to him and be happy under contract by the end of the month. The question is will it be gone or will what all the other question we hardly got back.

Other than that quote like contract is why you're going to have to have someone under contract number first.

Then you start to wonder you not want to do both job anymore, so why not the other diameters I called you part of it is a reality in the fact what else to do the job and be under contract number first. Whether Waddell or somebody else for you. You've noted a couple of times that this is not how business is generally done in professional sports and in hockey, what have you heard from places outside of that building about the way business is being conducted by dungeon. How is hockey reacting to this guy.

Other owners GM they don't like the way you doing not one of them play by their rules.

In terms of general managers or any of that government. They way they hockey long enough to know that and you will have certain ways of doing things that info will close the world.

It not always the most open or bit of a closed loop where the hell you know whether right or wrong. Certainly the jury the idea that you have to do things the way the other 30 NHL is not really the right answer. It may turn out the pound on it is smarter than everyone else in the NHL and a major outfit you took another bit offended that you did not know the answer that 18 month it the result. In his first goal on the very good half of the regular season has been controversial. So will this work. Nobody knows yet you people hated Apple do they laugh at him that maybe even playing a little bit with the opera with the opportunity because the Canadian he was so cheap you would match the money and they offered a contract that they were happy to match what I don't like the term pretty happy with the Valerie maybe, I met with the weather dungeon like it. We know we never came back that weather dungeon or you will be political during the year. We are going 80 I will tell whether this works or not. What we know if this point bonding is not going to do things the way that your brother Peter, do you think the way the other 30 came there doing and going to be very different. It's going to be jarring and hard for people to understand it and it may work.

It may also be a glory that we just don't know at this point I think the one thing we can say about the number is you don't want your general manager for other job that I think is something we can all agree is on twitter at the top, read his stuff in the Observer online@raleighnewsandobserveron.com you can read his stuff. Look, it's good to have you on the show was good to see you at the Wyndham championship as well.

Things are doing out there. My with my web marriage and that's look to God again on twitter Outlook. The cop coming up Kimball Walker wants us to all know just how badly the Hornets mess this up. This is the drive lives with Josh Graham at AM 609 20 Kimball Walker want everybody to know just how badly the Charlotte hornet things on this summer. It was talking to John surrounding of the athletic and specifically about leaving Charlotte for Boston on record multiple times saying that he would've preferred to stay in Charlotte but he's not letting it go and it's clear that this was it just simply saying the right things because click timbers a classy guy know he's bothered that he had to go to Boston. He had to make a business decision that Charlotte Conant offer enough.

Not even close to enough. That would be respectable respectable to keep Kimba in town. He told Sean's tough days, bleeping tough days I can't even lie excuse my language it was difficult. I could see myself as being on another team.

It was just hard that's all I've known was Charlotte definitely some tough times. I had a feeling that I was good to get the offer that I wanted to maybe not even close to it because of Space I had to get my head wrapped around the feeling and picking another team. He went on to say that I get to be around a lot of UConn fans which is good and get to go to school and catch some more games but Kimba told Sam's that he would've accepted the regular max offer if the Hornets offered 190 million versus 220 he would accept that offer.

If it was close to 190 million. Charlotte ends offered the five years which would warrant the max. Only the Hornets could offer five years. Other teams would only have the option of four years hundred 90 million.

Not only did they offer $30 million left lesson hundred $60 million. They also wanted that provide five years hundred $60 million. It was a glorified slap in the face. Kimba tried to do everything he could to make it easy on the Hornets to keep work easier than probably any other superstar in the sport and for what nobody shows loyalty in the MBA nobody but Kimball Walker was showing in Charlotte did not reward him. MJ should've went to the tax. For that reason alone you have it all. NBA player who said he would be willing to stay with you, even if it meant not winning even if it meant that my ceiling here is maybe the second round of the playoffs. He was willing to sign off on that and you responded with $30 million less but still the fifth year blatantly disrespectful Kimba wanted that to be put out there. Charlotte lack a plan they knew there was a chance that Kimball could've been all MBA. It was a starter in the All-Star game they paid attention to that the game was in their own backyard. You have to have a plan that involves the max the super Max. But even if you don't, he would've accepted the regular max. He tells Janet now only Kimball will know if that's true, only Kimball will know that but I have to believe Kimba when he still out here saying this a little over a month after July 1. Other than Bobby fills passing and Charlotte losing basketball for those few years this is been the darkest summer. That day they lost Kimba the darkest day in Charlotte Hornets basketball history back you lose your best player when he wanted to stay. He's in his pride, he wanted to stay. You lost because you bleeped up in Kimba Samet time and time again that you bleeped up. It's also weird that Kim was wearing number eight when I think number eight for Boston.

I think Antoine Walker who never really made it quite anywhere. Also, I believe that number was worn by Stefon Moore.

One point Stefon Marbury was wearing that for the Celtics. I know how Jefferson did for a year to when he was in Boston. Jeff Greene warrant for a handful years. It's just a weird number. I don't know why Kimba chose number eight. Nobody's been good at number eight for Boston Celtic fans are a little bit superstitious about that.

Meanwhile, I've got a lot of ESPN eight the Ocho on here in the studio we have to leave Tetris some hard-core Tetris going on tonight around 7 o'clock tonight. Make 30 slippery stairs and what you got on slippery state equities. That sounds like a Japanese game show it would've been better if you just Josh there, sir. Slippery is pretty much what happens man marrying debris looks like the courts they dress and Power Rangers elements narratives that may be late to ask that as I compiling the name but that's that's what they look like them a lot. Power Rangers have assembled to clam the billing that is slippery stairs. There are a lot of great things I'm looking out my screen that like the Corsi pointing this out from the sporting news that he looks up and just sees things that you would never see on your television. Any other day out of the year. It's ESPN eight the Ocho day and honor of dodgeball lawnmower racing that's coming up in about five minutes and I'm looking at some videos of what lawnmower racing is you have drivers who are in the full jumpsuit as if they're about to compete at Bristol motor Speedway or Charlotte motor Speedway helmet no helmet and no except they are on lawnmowers and they look like they're on a track that would be run for motocross events. How fast I don't want to continue sending you down a rabbit hole.

Aaron but I'm just so many questions all promote so so many so many was it. How fast can a lawnmower go how fast does these do these lawnmowers go. That was my question when you are they modified the modified lawnmower like I have no idea how to ask the question about the racing because God sounds fascinating to stick with the Harley-Davidson engine along more items like wiggle mother asked, throwing an arm wrestling and corn all South Evan Leffler.

There's Tetris there dodgeball. There's plot plot says do you think the world's best as l'amour goes to go ahead and guess like if you're on the highway. I think 85 miles an hour 85 days, go X go higher than that I'm going to say 100 Hondas, HP 190 HP l'amour shattered the world record know this CBR something lots numbers power l'amour V2 is a top speed of 150 miles Josh what Grassley could be a lot more going hundred. These gladiator procedures I've been known gladiator later lawnmower racing event that you want 150 mile an hour lawnmower when you mowed lawns. Did you use the push mower or did you use the writer we were poor so I do push mower and had also acre I have both.

I never had an issue with the writer because I love listening to podcasts and headphones and listen to music. It's great when you have the writer is also the same way with the pusher to I had the push mower. When I was in Colorado when you mowed lawns like past tense loans which it oh no, I live in the city is the greatest he's become an area with us to Congress. Simple things like grass cutting. I don't I don't cut grass anymore about that.

I don't smoke it is moving towards us.

Ryan 33677716 on putting it out there making things well-known to make things very clear out.

They all shout out to Stephen a Smith, Winston-Salem's finest Lebron James.

Also in the headlines saying that the NCAA is targeting his agent and right-hand man Rich Paul with these regulations that have been put forth as a result of the rice commission on college basketball last year, suggesting that the NCAA allow for agents to be credited accredited by the NCAA and to monitor or represent players interesting and interested in testing the MBA waters underclassmen who want to be a part of the draft process. Now the system is broken. It's not ever going to work because if you're an agent you're interested in the financial aspect things.

Yes, if you get a player that you represent. You're going to try and get them the go Pro why because if you don't. If he decides to go back to school he's gonna have to fire you then you get together the process all over again of trying to land that same prospect. The next year. Of course, to try and advise for the kids to go Pro it doesn't really work that well I don't know who's really calling for agents to be a part of the process.

But the reason why Lebron and Rich popular like there singled out one of the new stipulations part of the criteria requires a bachelors degree which Rich Paul notoriously does not have as he was selling jerseys out of his trunk when he met Lebron Lebron coming a high school in Akron live in an airport so I think Kobe Bryant jersey farmer correctly and they built a relationship and Lebron, one of his most unrecognized achievements is just how he's been able to empower the inner circle around him. He brought his crew up with them, much to the chagrin of agents and the current or the former power structure of the league. Phil Jackson calling him up posse which was a big headline.

Once upon a time, Rich, Paul story should be celebrated. This is a guy who once he got the opportunity has excelled. Unlike other situations where you have entourages or you have crews that just simply serve as leeches of the popular and wealthy athlete that's not what Rich Paul is been clearly the people that surround the Brock. They are business people and they are people who have's succeeded very well with business that should be celebrated not cut down on.

So once this was released by ESPN that there would be a criteria which includes a bachelor's degree. Lebron went to twitter and said can't stop won't stop a big mad and scared nothing will stop the movement in the culture over here. Sorry not sorry hashtag. The rich pull rule seems like another unnecessary yell for the NCAA, but they are to blame because our dimmer hired this rice commission and they had the suggestions and they took the suggestions and implemented this year so the headache is all on them.

You are listening to W STS Winston-Salem W COD Greensboro WPC in Burlington WMF or Highpoint signals making up the triad sports up.

This is sports 620 now drive with Josh Graham, the timeline will Ron James Richard Paul and see AA agent starts in May of last year where the rice commission release is for suggesting the NCAA on ways to fix problems in college basketball.

One of those, including agent working the men and requiring that the agent be certified by the NCAA for they work with. Incidentally, players who might be trying to test the waters for the yeah then you get the news from today.

Really it was yesterday that the NCAA issued a memo to agents outlining a new certification requirement which included having a bachelors degree which Lebron James took his being a shot Rich Paul directly because of course with his background.

He did not possess a bachelors degree to talk about this and plenty more, it's Mike Corsi of the sporting news adjoins as Hall of Fame sportswriter that you can follow on Twitter at TSN Mike nobody Mike seems to like what the NCAA has done here. Their integration of agents into basketball those most responsible for where were at right now is most well most responsible because he is the one who reacted to what occurred to Paul to go in the fall of 2017 when four assistant basketball coach at Division I basketball coaches were arrested along with several other men in and around the basketball business and in those four former assistant that will code you have all been convicted of crimes and at the at the time when that happened.

Mark Emmert's reaction to that was to form what we now call the rice commission equaled Condoleezza Rice in charge of eight was 14 maybe 16 or around their member panel designed to examine the issues and come up with some solutions to try to clean up college back and I don't know who they talk to but I know they copy the Executive Director. The players Association. I know they can't. The head of the NADP and I know they can't sober up the NBA that I know pretty much everybody involved in college basketball. Not not to brag or anything that doing this for the sporting news for more than 25 years and doing it around the nation for more for 30+ years so I know pretty much everybody involved in the game and I don't really know pretty much any bite and I know people very close to me who volunteered practically they get an audience with that commission and were ignored for for for those people, not at all because they had so much on their docket popular, people who actually knew about the game.

I know all the top recruiting. I believe every single one of them if they went in the copyright commission the recruiting analyst know that part of the game better than anybody better than the coaches in a you coaches certainly better than silver or or Jim Haney or anybody like that.

They know that game, Bryant no Evan Daniels Eric Bob Kolbe, and Carty. They know that game company to know and not one of them.

With that, got the recruiting business. The business of recruiting went back commission so what you got back commission with a lot of misdirected proposals. A lot of unintended consequences basically nothing that is fixed again and includes this concept of allowing agent more involvement with prospect.

Okay so my when I first your K will allow agent more involvement great, though not all of them. Believe me, but a lot of them. Some of them if you want to make it. You know the case scenario are already involved with athletes who are well in advance of their college career giving money giving advice that sort of thing to prospective players, and so I cannot bring it all aboveboard great and and not a problem anymore, at least then you know who who's doing what, but know that all they do is say okay you contaminated only when you're in the of considering the NBA draft profit.

So you're basically when you're on the NBA early entry list.

You can have an agent to get off the list and come back then you have to fire that person so it is a preposterous construct to begin with and then they go and they say okay you in order to be certified.

You have to follow these procedures and one of them is having a bachelors degree, it's not.

It all comes down Josh to their idea that AAU is bad and high school with good which goes to. They have a high school degree to be in a you coach really don't have to have much of a qualification they want to spend a lot of time with young people.

There's no question about that.

You barely have to have a college degree coaching high school basketball is almost universal. It may not be unanimous but it's almost universal that you're going to have college degrees so they equate those two things is being what makes someone good and so that's what that's where this came came from absolutely grew out of appellee that college good night college back in that and that all began with their assertion that a you and the people who run it are back but where did the agents coming here who was the one out here saying you know what, this is a good idea to get the agents involved because it wasn't the coaches and as you mentioned the recruiting experts here were not consulted.

Maybe pray for circa one lot in their deliberations and their examination everything that they did It. Michelle Roberts, I believe it was from players, and so no midwife put in eight many people they didn't have to.

So it could happen all what can we do, let's do this. Let's see how this lot. I was a believer in involving the agent because the Yahoo reported last February. February 2018 when they showed document now. I mean the of documents.

Who knows, but there were lots of documents that demonstrated that a particular agency record of having paid particular athlete while they were in college to try to maintain a relationship with them and then represent the map after their time in college and when they were professional and so my belief I confirmed at least my belief that it's going on anyway whether or not those relationships are reinforced financially or not. I know those relation exists, and so the idea of bringing that all aboveboard I thought was a good idea.

I thought it was ridiculous. So Pregnant idea. We can have anything when you're in the draft process alike if I'm if I finish the front look at playing the final world know I'm going pro for sure not like I want to give the go.

So I finished the final four on April 5 or whatever.

Then on April 7 I got okay I'm in the draft that I can hire an agent on April 6 or seventh or whatever and then I decide on you after I go to combine don't think things are going. My psychologist better for me and I decide that like by May 20 or whatever fire my and say sorry for you next year. Ridiculous construct ticketless even think and believe me I think needing a bachelors degree to meet the NCAA approval is ridiculous planning even more ridiculous pregnant idea where you have to fire your agent want to go back to school like the courses on Twitter at TS and Mike writes the sporting news and he is somebody who's very well plugged in.

As you can tell, but he's also somebody we go to one movies the last time we had you on we were talking about. The lion King, which was about to be released.

You gave us a couple of Disney movies you like, but then after the interview you gave us your full top 35 and I want to reveal your top five number five on the list of Mike. The course is taught Disney movies. The original jungle book number four. The jungle book remake number three Mary Poppins returns number two Aladdin number one frozen. I was out on the King, I thought it looked too much like planet Earth I needed animals to MO. I didn't get enough of that. Where does the lion King fall among your best is the movie did you like it remake. A remake I didn't go about it make me feel like I needed to see Tarantino Maria I. All right. How this this is what I'm interested in a taxi. This it's it's an ideal Hollywood what you think of it I love it. I you know I would. I thought that what what are things that I really like by Quentin Tarantino movie is his willingness to allow it seemed to breathe and eat beyond what most directors would trust and to believe in his writing in the performance to carry you through that and I got into a Twitter argument with a friend of a friend of the movie critic and entertainment reporter in Boston and I got in an argument with one of his friend that know who was and he said he thought it was too long and I'm like, the whole point make a great grade visited the long blog is like saying zeppelins to longer save Queens to Longwood you doing what makes it great if it is seen back in their with with Leonardo DiCaprio and a young actress who plays a young actress in the movie and it is mesmerizing and no other director would let that scene go with longer peak. It enriches the movie to such a degree and a suspense that you get when Brad Pitt visit the ranch than what I get for let lack of better term would be called the Manson ranch and the suspect because you just don't know what's going to happen and that's goes on for ever and it's what makes it great because you you keep thinking you can stop it now, if any, in any company keep pushing and pushing and pushing make a great I thought I loved it. I love the way it all turned out, I can spoil anything for those who haven't seen it that the end I will say the ending is controversial from like that some didn't love it. I'm in the love camp and I you know I can't recommend it highly enough. But you have to know you have loved every picture that he's made. I did not love jangling chain. I thought he got too cartoonish and what was a very serious story. I didn't care for that but I thought that inglorious factors was a movie that the first time I thought it jarred me and then I thought a second time and I love that I never think about. I left all the way through, and I had trouble with the ending. I just didn't see anything like it before like it jarred me and then I thought a second time and loved it. In a court of Pulp Fiction. I've been a believer since day one that was magnificent.

So if you are a fan of those movies I don't see how you won't go and put this very close to the top of his list. I've only got about a minute left, but dodgeball is being talked about today because it is ESPN eight.

The old show day and they have all these sporting events that would never make air on a normal day being broadcast, dodgeball another 1516 years out from when it was released. Where does it rank among sports comedies.

Where does it rank among comedies in the 2000's and Mike. The course is my great, I thought it was wonderful and very funny movie.

I thought everything about it with was really good that just so might so many funny lines in it. I don't know what other sports, and I think it is a movie from my generation that's revered and there's a lot of funny stuff in it, but I never thought it was a great movie. I thought it was too loose and sloppy in a lot of ways that's why I think this is I think dodgeball is actually a better film and Caddy shack. It may not be as funny but it's a better movie. There's a lot of intervention in the Ocho thing. I was just at the gym and I looked up and they end there was a thing on PD where they were bowling with trolley train legitimately bowling with trolley train and then I thought like a wife and went to commercial. They said the Ocho and I'm like a man way to go guy that you have people up in Madison for a while yet. But today's bit donated a good day for them. Cavallo felt pretty cool Mike, it's good to hear from you. Hope you're enjoying your summer. Thanks for doing this job done and that's Mike Garcia on Twitter at yes and Mike coming up. I want to get into whether or not any of these sports that are being broadcast today would actually work beyond ESPN eight. The Ocho deck also why Netflix is in trouble.

This is the drive
