Jesus said in Matthew chapter 23 the scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses there for all that they tell you doing observe but do not do do do not do according to their deeds, for they say things and do not do them there as they say one thing but then don't do it. So during the earthly life of Christ is that the Pharisees are just referred to in that passage, Ray.

But today, the term Pharisees actually synonymous with the term hypocrite because Jesus said the Pharisees didn't actually practice what they preached. So in a similar vein today. Have you noticed that those who scream the loudest about quote injustice are very selective in their outrage. They are quick to criticize all the perceived injustices in America, but when confronted with far greater injustices. The say the right of an unborn child to live for the great injustice to take place abroad all over the world like in China. Let's say they remain silent to those things pro basketball star Lebron James recently exemplified that Morgan get into that today here on the program. So today were going to discuss the importance for Christians to be consistent with what we preach and practice. China is not keeping their end of the deal there infringing on our rights and their out in the streets protesting violent protests week after week. These people are literally fighting for their way of life there freedoms that they were guaranteed in this changeover between Great Britain and China, so Daryl Morey steps into this this Houston Rockets general manager Mimi think, what's the connection that was really maybe not know what the connection between him is maybe he just follows world events. For whatever reason, he just decided tweet outstand with Hong Kong. The response to that little what was it a seven word tweet from someone who I'd never heard of the man he's been relatively even unknown I think in sports circles of yes multiple to say who is the general manager the Houston Rockets people probably won't even know it. But this tweet set off an international firestorm. According to ESPN Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said it will no longer air. We we oppose that this is China saying this, we believe that any remarks that challenge national sovereignty and social stability are not within the scope of freedom of speech is an interesting how we do one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist is not amazing how if you make a comment here in America saying stand with the people of Hong Kong and their protest against China for their rights to be free from communist China, then you are challenging the national sovereignty and social stability of China and that's not within your your freedom of speech. While the remarks Adam Silver made according to the New York Times, the Chinese government asked the MBA. Apparently to fire Daryl Morris of the China asked the MBA to fire an American businessman, so to speak, who runs this team and in in Houston to fire a team executive who posted on social media support pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong police Commissioner, Adam Silver set on Thursday in his first public appearance in the US since returning from a contentious trip to Asia. Asia Silver by the way, to his credit, said will we said there is no chance that working to be firing and there's no chance were even going to discipline him. I can say, Adam Silver is a very kind of social justice left tied a person but I least applaud him for saying her knocking to fire the man here in America for exercising his first amendment right now back in China. CNBC is reporting Chinese president Gigi and paying Alyssa look what he says while much he believes in free speech warned on Sunday that any attempt to divide it.

China will be crushed as Beijing faces political challenges and month-long protest in Hong Kong and US criticism over its treatment of Muslim minority groups and by the way, all add to that Christian groups in China.

Just this past week you heard in the news that China again came to a church that was in" compliance with what they wanted came in with bulldozers knocked the church down and completely destroy the whole area and re-sod it over and planted trees as if it never existed. This is a country were dealing with with China that kind of a repressive regime and so she the president of China said anyone attempting to split China in any part of the country will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones. Unquote that's what you're dealing with so getting back to this situation in the MBA now come back here to America.

Meanwhile, the LA Lakers with Lebron James who plays for the LA Lakers now just happened to be traveling over to China to make some on appearance appearances and some exhibition games. I believe in China. One of their inner mother there outlets where they try to promote the game and make money and that kind of thing they were over in Shanghai.

Now that's an mainline mainland China, her communist China. They were there to make some appearances and play an exhibition game. Everything that cancel while they were there, and so meanwhile Lebron James comes back to or during the time he was there when he comes back. This is the most popular player in the MBA. I believe nobody stopped and consider what would happen could have waited a week to send it never was. All social justice bully people believe that they're willing to trample on the rights of people because of the greater good. The outcomes can be good. Don't worry about the people's rights were trampling on to get there because the greater good is the important thing was skip forward here.

Let's see here. But when you go that hard at your own elected officials. Lebron is difficult to reconcile that with the idea that shine of all countries should be above reproach for anyone who works in the MBA never was.

Don't criticize China criticized Trump and everyone else here in America and how terrible our country is but don't criticize China make a mistake. Lebron, that's exactly what you are suggesting a Monday, when you criticize Morey for not giving any consideration to quote the consequences and ramifications of the tweet while making it clear that you didn't want to discuss the substance of what he was saying and so Lebron Lebron was asked about the issue of free speech very interesting what he had to say here. You could hear that we do if we do have freedom of speech but another snow but on on freedom of speech except if you're inciting violence or causing a riot to occur� That's what the courts of decide is the limitation of free speech. When people are literally going to physical lives are going to be in danger, you know, by starting a fire enough skinny fire in movie theaters, the classic example of this prescreener stampede and people that you know that you don't the free speech to do that but Lebron James there is treating so many qualifications on free speech and this man is in full Lebron you're really informed about the situation. China apparently not. If you can't basically see what's taking place there for the rights of the people who are fighting is this columnist wrote for their very way of life.

And then so he kept them backpedaling and backpedaling.

Finally he said one more thing about it. Lebron did provide you not known now as we learn situation involving fundamental the problem must were not politicians. We are leaders don't challenge in China were not there. Okay so were not policies limit me just tell you was going on here is a former professional athlete. Let me just translate what he's saying.

Whenever professional athlete sesame like well I'm just I'm just here to win championships in here to play basketball.

I'm not a politician that's trying to absolve that person of all responsibility on this is in my world is, leave me alone that that's what they're trying to understeer to play basketball or play football.

Play baseball, leave me out of those discussions, but that's not what he did course he wants to have the platform and do all these different political realms and everything else he wants to have a voice for justice and beyond the basketball court. Like you said not really your interview. But when there's pushback against what he is saying a key that is terrible response to Daryl Morey's tweet then elect Pam just past, but that we want to focus on winning a championship in Los Angeles that's that's what's going on here. So the lesson is this is an object lesson for Christians to practice what we preach. Okay so if we preach one thing about injustice of we preach about a living a moral life. We forever preach about helping the poor and practice it.

Don't be inauthentic. Don't be the hypocrite.

Don't be the Pharisee and is important as we look at the issue of social justice to some people run around talking all these these injustices. The first and when you do is discern the difference between a real injustice in the politically correct concocted social justice, non-justice issues that we see all the time Hong Kong and abortion are real social injustice issues are the real issues you people don't have a right of babies coming regarding a right to life. There's no greater injustice issue in this world than that issue Hong Kong. That's an injustice issue teenage girls being taken in traffic for sex. That's an injustice issue in Christian should be construed consistent across the spectrum on real injustices, but unless someone has actually been wronged, rather than just received a different outcome than we would prefer in life. That's not injustice. So keep injustice to the very big issues, the, the right to life, the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion. The freedom to believe and think and say what you believe, think and say.

Make sure the injustice is actually true, before you actually cry injustice everything otherwise, everything turns into an and in an injustice. My son's school is not as good as that one. We need educational justice. The top 1% have 90% of the wealth we need economic justice.

Life is never going to be just perfectly just in your view, and in fair okay focus on the real injustices. I didn't invent at the woke school deal. Those who consider themselves woke to all these injustices you know going on all around us today. The people are woke there's there's gold. They're always scolding people for not understanding all the great injustices that take place there woke's goals. So this is of such a good example of the cracks in these woke scrolls the worldviews they they point of the injustices that a debt that they like it and they're always sort of these leftist politically correct causes of climate injustice and marriage injustice. All the racial injustice always and I'm not saying there's no injustices and angles, but they way over blow them and often on the call things are unjust.

That really are unjust is just or not the outcomes they would like to have in a free market society the so they scold everyone else.

These woke scrolls and their hip your hypocritical. There are cracks in their worldview. There's an inconsistency there is. You see, with Lebron James very woke as to all the injustices in America. He knows that Pres. Trump is unjust and blah blah blah when it comes to a true injustice over and Hong Kong would not talk about that one.

You know that really hurts our bottom line here was shoe sales movie sales and you know we don't get into an international situation like that with the biggest bullies in the world to be the people who will purvey the biggest injustices actually want and need to be exposed like China and that's why I get very this is just a personal opinion here I understand the financial incentives of doing business with China understaffed the farmers and so forth but I wish we had never got into relationship with communist China in the first place is now are so tied in together with them if they don't buy our grain than it hurts our farmers here in America but by by being engaged with them. We really prop up their communist way of life, which in turn they just commit real injustices against religious minorities in their country against Christians gets people in Hong Kong.

They are just a communist repressive regime is all there is to it and it would be better in a be a better world we could be separated from the now some people say what wouldn't be better because of your separate from him. There were isolated in our engagement with with them softens them because they have to be dependent on us for our money to prop up their economy. I get that too is a very complicated big issue, but maybe in a more perfect world which are never going to have a we wouldn't be so engaged with as a repressive country like China. Now Sen. Tom cotton made a I think what is a very very accurate comment on the situation with the MBA insert a summarizing were talking about today with these woke's goals and how we should be consistent should practice what we preach aversion to point out real injustices here point them out abroad as well. In America, the MBA could be a beacon of freedom in China compared China to shut them out.

So let me urge all of these MBA executives and players who say they only say they care about social justice don't just speak out when the stakes are low for me personally when the cause is popular among your friends speak out now when the stakes are deadly high for millions of Hong Kong versed in more than a billion's, including so many of your fans.

What a great comment so focused on social justice speak out. Speak out now about this. Don't worry about your couple MBA games being canceled and losing your broadcast rights I know is lucrative. I know it's a big deal but you don't need China you're making enough money here in in America that you need to prop up and count how is what you're doing to a repressive regime you're keeping quiet on behalf of them and by the way, I have to say for Pres. Trump to I think he's keep a little quiet in this issue of Hong Kong. I haven't heard him say too much about Hong Kong.

I think it has to do with his deal that was made with recent trade deal with China and they China and by 40 or $50 billion with a grain from American farmers and American farmers been hurting because prices are low, so we did this deal with them. I think in exchange they said that we don't want a criticism of what were going to crackdown in Hong Kong alike that again I don't like the marriage there like that. The relationship getting with bad people and you get sullied.

So now it's changing over to the column by David Limbaugh. He really this is really in the same vein of what we've been talking about today about the importance of practicing what we preach in and there was no one in Scripture that Christ criticized more.

The whole chapter is a literally literal dressing down of the Pharisees of the hypocrites of people who were known for preaching. If you you did these things, like today people who are so into the social justice warriors the social justice and says Darrell Harrison calls them there so woke about all these things are so holy and righteous about the moral their poor moral wrong is going on in our society. But when it comes to being consistent with their seeing injustices, not just here but also abroad something started to crack open. You see, if there's not a consistency there.

Let's not be like that Christians discern the difference between real injustice and the kind of leftist, politically correct social injustice. Another worth think with this way.

If it's an injustice to God.

It should be an injustice to us based on what God says in his word that that's what data we should be perceived as a real injustice because the left in the woke scrolls are really professional and making something seem like an injustice, but it really isn't is just on outcome they would like in our society.

It's like a $15 minimum wage. All people are paying the minimum wage. That's an injustice will really really deserve to get paid a certain amount. Is that what is that due to the business arming work to determine what they have to pay their employees see they make it sound like an injustice is not really an injustice that should be a a a free and open relationship between employee and employer but that's not what the book's goals want they want to force an outcome because people are making enough therefore make those business owners pay them more so.
