We talked about. I voter guide, I recently met Debbie at a national meeting and wanted her to come on and tell us more about, I better got where right now in the midst we would just come to a series of primary elections and this what we call midterm election which is two years before presidential election is that we so important for our country right now.

As Christians we need to understand the issue we need to know the candidates, but we don't always have time to do that and that's why I voter guide is so important Debbie without the present I voter guide and was looking at your bio Debbie is neat because I see that you get your Masters degree from Princeton University which is a great great school beautiful one my favorite campuses in the country will work tour with my kids. I just loved the Princeton campus is a beautiful place, and since you been with. I voter guide in 2011. You now have reached over 3 1/2 million users on I voter guide and you have information on over 8000 candidates.

Debbie, thank you for joining us on the Christian perspective today. While I am before we get into all the work stuff. I only get a few personal things with you when I was reading up about you.

I saw that you are a musician, not your typical instrument that you play the belt of that right idea lightweight handheld fence 1990, and then in a variety of different handbell choir at my church and I joined a lady quartet and we were kept exit the plane and Bible study than Qantas meetings and things like that and then I joined a indication only a community choir that was at Methodist Church. We actually performed at the pinnacle handbell conference and for the closing concert. I love God through handouts as part of the people of your listening and you're not familiar with handbells they literally what they sound like there they are bills you hold them with your hand and you ring them and you can play beautiful music and so based is just like other instruments based on the smaller instruments the smaller bills or higher page and then on up to the larger bills are more like a base for baritone so I don't not the other three years. Debbie but I use when I was in college friend of mine went to the usually Methodist churches that have built a friend of mine with the methods I'm on the southern Baptist and she invited me to come to their church and I would go there and play their handbell choir is such a neat instrument.

It's a underappreciated instrument, but the man you think is really really beautiful and your dog out today, but that I was now connection to hand out because you like playing piano you got all this keep on your instrument, not imagining handouts every person only place to note to the keyboard that you're trying to produce this melodious contiguous image in the body of Christ because everybody does their little part when it works together beautiful late night illustration of God. So it's it's a fabulous ministry you make friends. I encourage you if you have an opportunity and I plan to Baptist Church Stokes on my has begun Baptist. I grew up in another church and handbell. When we search for church. I see that I'm about to think that my one hand out church that you were able to find a beverage servers that M built {I did pretty rare today. I'm sorry. Get off on that I have ever had the will to show that I know of. The blade handbuilt before, so I'm glad that you you do that with Debbie.

I want to ask is is I share with you before you came on the show always love to have our guest share their testimony because you never know who's listening and we all need to learn how to tell others about Jesus. And sometimes we might think. Will my testimony is not as powerful. Somebody else's not want to share it but we all have a testimony and we shared God. Most of the people who need to hear the story of what God did in our lives to if you don't mind can you share with our listeners for torture little bit about other than handbells you, your family and you are in.

Then you tell us how you came to know Jesus. Well I grew up in Southwest Derry in Springfield and Christian actually went to Methodist Church when it was really nice.

It is more important to go to the lake church is a part of my growing up and it wasn't a priority and I had a father who got very poor and the way that he provided credit family shelter by working all the time so he was very rarely dare also come from the German stock Mary still like not very emotional and likable. I basically was well cared for. Didn't see a lot.

Nobody ever said I love you kind of thing growing up and when I was 16 years old I was a member of the speech and debate team at my high school and came home after I won my first speech trophy and my father sat me down and said the mother has brain cancer surgery tomorrow and it rocked my world that my mom might not live very long and I got right to me and for sharing that with my debate partner at public school, and she Baptist Church within their church youth ministry and sent me home with ice to picture the yellow legal pad that had scriptures on it.

She think you should government repeat director. Several of them and that may be cliché that John 316 for God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever was accepting salvation. And to me it was the looming draw of the father's love.com.

I pray that prayer had gotten to any of that month. I need that Hoke and then my speech coach in my speech front was actually a part-time youth minister at a Baptist Church that I went to back revival evening and walked the island did not need a standard Baptist thing.

I wasn't familiar with. Growing up as a method but then went back to my neck in the church bike. I had that hope and that that light at the end of the tunnel and then you know there's only elements of your life. Kind of went to college and as many did kind of went astray just a bit and got my degree in computer science from the University Missouri Rolla and took a job in New Jersey with AT&T Bell laboratories like God was directing me there without really knowing that I can look behind me at the footsteps and fee guidance that friend that my husband was in New Jersey and we moved back to get to Missouri get out of New Jersey because I felt like God's highest calling is to and you can't do that with difficulty that New Jersey we went back to St. Louis which is really close my family and I had my first daughter and I 1991 I ice I like to stay home and raise my kids got really active in Bible study spent the next 20 years.

Really discipling myself in training on raising my kids discipling my children and when that daughter started college.

Actually my first Bible study never did much as it could get that laid the foundation once I Henry blanketing experiencing God and I learned to that that God speaks to us, not just through the Bible, not just through the Holy Spirit through prayer, through another individual. I became eight I would watch for God to be at work which leakage is not worth that work joining the network and that God will guide and direct you to open doors closed doors. So when my daughter started college I knew God had a plan for me again all the work that he planned for me to dance one up and he came to be and that he wants me to step out into them, and I knew that I wanted to do work people are not a fit alongside on that 20% in the church that does 80% of the work, and as you know I got what you want me to do with my auntie because I would be nice to help pay for college. I know you got these works plan and I asked my community Bible study teaching director to be a job reference she had been.

I know her for 15 years that I was on the leadership team and she knew my not granting computer science. There's no way God could use a 20-year-old computer science degree can back a week later and says my husband programs with online voter guide and complaining at the dinner table looking at some technical help.

Are you interested about how God directed me into his family and to live a one of the story so I was wondering how you got into the world from being a stay at home mom and entered into the arena public policy Baltics would you do to using your computer science background so were you up a programmer in the beginning.

For much of what is done alone.

I voter guide know I was never a programmer engineer, so I designed Internet protocols actually before there was an Internet communication protocol by more of the big picture and I had a strategic brain and never never broke. So that's why I thought when they offered me the job I elected as a way to get current with my technology skills. My degree was pre-Internet you can imagine is a little bit old but I understand how computers work is very logical.

They only do what you tell them to do so. Jim would just teach me what you show me how to company website and then I that would be my job or anything for granted and I go Google and watching YouTube video Internet became part of my job so and then like three years later dancing, the director of operations because I guess that will get things done.

When I worked and that was like being a mom. Operations are said to Charlie think it's done right timeframe by 20 years later that's needed executive director and the president that I did learn to write code.

When I first came on board because I muttered I will meet want to talk about this next segment with campaign-finance data and my first job was to write the code to import campaign-finance data in 20 oh really close were talking to Debbie with now with high voter guide.com histogram to jump into it. You want to go for the selection of more resources will help push yourself, I will guide the resources been looking for is one that I work all others were more about it was needed and how you really like that.

As a result, his colony was never attacked William Penn address the tribe, my friends, there is one great God made the world and all things therein. You and I and all peoples owe their being this great God has written in our hearts to love and help one another and not to do harm her shoes yesterday as Debbie work that I voter guides you will talk about. I voter got a lot on the show over the last few months because were important election year. This midterm election is so important.

I know every cycle we say most immorally several lifetime goodness look around right now.

When gas is tripled in price and shore those shields and stores or bear and even chicken and bread and milk and silly other things, calls for the ever did before. We are now saying that elections matter, and we as Christians need to get educated on the issues we need to learn who the candidates or know where those candidates stand on the issues and then once we get educated we need to engage in the arena, public policy and politics and there is no greater tool out there today. I got a lot of great friends that have voter resources are different voter guys but I'm telling you the best way about your trouble with this with my other friends from other great organizations, but the best out there is I voter guides so Debbie tell us a little bit. I know you were there in the in the creation of the company. But what inspired the creation of of voter got a great story. I think it's a way God leads to tapestry's original founders name is Richard Ford and he had been involved in Texas politics for decades just veto grassroots activism. He led the very first family policy Council. In Texas back in the in the 70s and 80s, and he had a realization is a strong Christian that he had never really voted an intelligent battle from the top to the bottom and even though he knew most of the legislators working. I was working at the capital and he started to research candidate and he understood. It's more important to look at what candidate you then like they say they're going to do because there's rhetoric in their spin. Yet when they get into office they vote and the votes are really telling about what's important to them.

So Richard told philosophy created that how he evaluated candidate and he did it by gathering the campaign-finance data looking at who is a given money to. Had they accepted money from because that help a lot about you know who had been pulling some of them and what's important to that candidate. He gathered their scorecards so all legislature legislators if there at the capital of the federal capital there are groups to pay attention to how they vote on various issues whenever issues are important to that particular organization and then David may scorecards so Richard was gathering all be scorecards on the candidates and he started by doing this junk in his home county which was Dallas County, Texas, and you get from the top of the ticket to the bottom of the ticket got all the campaign-finance data got all their scorecards. He looked to see who it endorsed them. He sent each candidate and issue survey, a questionnaire he gathered all back.

He put it in the action he set up 4 inch binder and Becky gathered some of his friends that were very politically connected and they sat around the conference table. They each had copies of that binder and they talked about each candidate and assigned them a great and they created these grades create a PDF it would look pretty much like all the voter guides you guys are used to seeing in churches printed and distributed on the Dallas County. Well, God will hold another.

So I pictured in the meeting so Richard might've been the vertical somatic and then horizontally. Shin derringer is a the other foundational founder of my go to guy.

He was a retired IBM programmer heat on his own, had written some Bible study called word search.

I believe Bible study software. He served on his local school board, and he wanted he had this idea. I think God and how to create a voter guide on the Internet and the information be on the Internet that would be the distribution tool. She said I don't know how to do about the guy. I cannot evaluate talking to people and it was actually Kelly Shackelford was first liberty who the Dallas Texas area guy told you you need to talk to Richard Ford.

Jim calls Richard up there, number one, Richard answer the phone to answer the phone if you're not in contact and Jim told him his idea and Richard says I remember holding up at 4 inch binder and saying you mean you can put this on the Internet and Jim said, and so that was way back in 2006 2007 and that's when I voter guide was born and then selling 2008 2010. They were testing out the system. Jim programmed always pro bono and belted out a just in Texas.

They did eat 5 to 7 of the largest counties in Texas after the 2010 election and they both realized with the board that Texas is doing okay but the rest of the nation needed some help needed information so that people could identify candidates who supported biblical values in life, liberty and limited government and get White. They went nationwide and didn't go as far down the ballot so they covered that will candidates in all 50 states dividing the planet everybody in the Congress and then they would take 1/2 dozen to a dozen states where they would go down ballot in that state covered in statewide races like Gov., Comptroller Treas. and then they would cover the state Senate and state house of the state legislative candidate and that's when I Brought on board because they were what Jim was looking for some help with the technology and as they went nationwide. They needed the campaign-finance data from the Federal election commission will be FEC. That was my first job was understanding what that data is figuring out what type of information I voter guided needed on that information and what what we provide is really not the total amount a candidate is raised or how much they spent but were looking for relationship between a candidate and an organization. Somebody and somebody donating to ban pork bait supported of individuals before they ran for office because back pretty and that's a pretty important data point of who does yell at candidate of individuals and their money to so I started importing campaign-finance data and I voter died started. At that point. Working with partners. We started working with American family Association action at that time as our national partner. Then things just kinda kept growing from their Kelly going to go into a monologue, it will other solution was the year I will one I want to commend you and your filters on going down ballot valid drop off is is a huge issue.

So Christians, if you're listening. I want to tell you. You get so excited about running for president or governors run for Congress or Senate. But what Jim is describing is actually her reality all across the country. People do not vote no line for maybe district judges County commission or school board and in my opinion Debbie other going most important position of the country or school board races there races where we can make a huge difference on a local level, but when you look at the number of people in the county.

For example, that vote for president. There's a huge drop off.

By the time to get down the school board and it's really crazy brick heroes are think it's an analysis of that and found that the average is 35 to 45% of voters who make it to the polls and vote on their ballot will leave a race blank.

They call it under about and not like when you get down to the County judge or the city Council and nonpartisan rate, which is what happens at school board because they don't run as a Republican or Democrat, you don't have in adapting to guide you as to which candidate you shall values with 50 to 60% of people believe it blank need and voters need information. That's what I voter that exist. Isn't that crazy because those are the ones member their kids go to our kids school to go to our churches.

They live in our communities.

Those are the ones that we really should know more about the. Anybody else in the we don't and because we don't know about great tools like like I voter guide and I'm so glad that your getting involved in those lower-level races to because are so important in and are you going now across the country all the way bill to tubelike school board races. Are you still working on some area to get that done.

So we are still working. So in 2020. We covered all the federal down to us and state legislative down into 21 states, 20, 21, we understand the importance of school board so we get our first Uncovering some austere school board to cover 20 school districts in Texas in 2021 as a pilot program very successful. The majority of Canada become more conservative candidate was Victor's aware will growing that program in 2022. Where continuing to cover. I would call it select school boards are key school board and those races don't always happen in November and throughout the year were covering then in the cycle and then doubt were going down ballot in 35 states in 2022.

So were estimating. It will be at least 12,000 candidate that will going to evaluate and we've already covered my gosh, probably close to 50 or 75 school districts in 2022 were to cover some more in August elections and a bunch more in November. The goal being by 2024 that were covering state legislative in all 50 states and continuing to go down ballot as much as resources allow you to be so important as we look at what's happening with Roe V Wade in the near of that decision was overturned and then they go back and say that this is a study's rights issue, not a US constitutional issue state legislative races are to be so important for us to let godly men and women to public office who you hopefully will stand right on that decision so July 20 22 election cycle, then you ought to have all the state legislative races in the country for journaling just 35 at the state that I will throw out there that we do At the time the Republican primary. In addition to the November election. So we have voter guides out there right now and there's a whole bunch of elections coming up on June 7 so and even more between now and September and then the general November, so I voter that is the only organization I'm aware of that gives you information on the candidates running in the Republican primary utilize. Usually my book will cover every 10 testing candidate.

We all will was a good commercial break and get excited about my Blood Pressure Globally Good Way, Debbie because I'm excited about what you're doing. This is so important and is an important tool. Christians need to have before David the break is I voter guide.com right not go to work I will guide the correct elbow clerk that I got it I got counted, so folks look forward talking to you might have questions tells a lot more about how you could use this important to go vote this November, or even primary state is not as familiar aroma like that America has a strong Christian heritage, most Americans don't know the truly important role God and the Bible is indicated radio host and founder of the American foundation, Dr. Chris four amazing days in our nation's capital with Crystal embark on a journey of discovering the hidden much of America's Christian heritage up close and personal look and how it evolved over the century, learn about the government and the men who helped forge this new kind of Republic and acknowledge the creator from its very inception the truth about the creation of about the fate of the mounting father Christian principles America secure your spot to join this this show is brought to you by generous Joe's coffee company with the Christian perspective, this is the answer that Christians and conservatives have been looking for a coffee company that gives back to causes you care about. Order your copy today at shop generous Joe's job and even subscribe to a subscription coffee plan and never forget you love for causes you care about the conservative Baptist network is a dynamic movement of Southern Baptist pastors, churches and Christians committed to standing for the sufficiency of God's word in the face of a culture of compromise, passion and prayer of the conservative Baptist network is that God would help Southern Baptist stable for the gospel so that we might see revival in America and the Christ. Visit our website today@conservativebaptistnetwork.com to learn how you and your church to join and support this exciting movement. My name is Chris use my gift today every work well. She is the president of voter guide I voter guide. In my opinion, is the premier voter resource and tool in the country today are a lot of great resources a lot of great organizations, but I voter guide better than anybody else's come across on a national level to put together finance information issues information scorecards and so many other things Debbie made a goat.

So the question will ask you about to ask you about the school records you mentioned scorecards to losers if you may not know what she's referring to nerve organizations for everything their teachers union zero labor unions. There are groups who are interested in what's happening with military technology all these different specialty groups look at candidates whether trying to decide in sport and they have what we call scorecards in the industry were they try to determine if these candidates support issues that are important to whatever that organization may be as Christians we want to know where candidates stand on issues that are important to us as Christians in developing the biblical worldview and alerting godly men and women to public office to Debbie on on your scorecard, what, questions are you asking. I'm assuming you said what email survey or something to candidates so greatly for longer usually. And a lot of the other organizations in there there's a right with your family research Council of Faith and Freedom coalition. A lot of groups have scorecards and usually what they do is send a questionnaire so the candidates themselves, but usually not 1/3 party determine what they believe the candidates themselves have an opportunity if they will take the time to fill out the card say where they stand on these issues. Is that what you will do whatever questions you asked technically produce what I would call scorecards.

What I call a scorecard and what organizations obtain national right to life looks at the members of Congress are elected official and their in office and then they look at the different pro-life fail pro-choice bills that have been come before the Congress and they choose certain vote that all of those elected officials had to do and they will pick 10 2015 different but what they call a record vote, and they look at the candidate vote our way about our way or the other way and then they get done with school work, which is why we call it a scorecard groups. I can already do that for our new family research Council knows that would like to like Planned Parenthood.

We had 350 different scorecard for other organizations has done has looked at the bill that the legislators either of them, and federal level or the state level have have scored so we gather all of those scorecards into I voter guide we look at the particular individual record vote that the legislators that we are getting as many data points other groups to look at those record vote and that's our scorecard part and then we get then we stand a patient survey we call it an issue questionnaire to every candidate. We evaluate covers a broad spectrum of every issue, we can think of that can be important to faith-based elders cover immigration healthcare, the economy values religious liberty. I just think there's like 20 different topics need about 35 questions and what were trying to get you through that questionnaire is give the voters visibility on how the candidate would answer those questions, because you can see all their answers and I voter guide.com we get that all directly to the voters because that's what I voter guide is designed for us to get voters information on the candidates on the ballot so we email the candidates and they answer the survey on on our website so it's all directly in their words they type it in themselves and then we aggregate that together and create. I might call it a scoring page I voter guide for all the candidates that are on the ballot where we gathered those other organizations scorecards on the issues where we gathered a list of everybody that both candidates and given money to receive money from gather all the endorsements because a lot of times candidates work very hard to get endorsed by Pres. Trump for the governor out of order.

You know whether they they they they look at you and they think they're voters with response to, and we gather that in aggregate that all into one place and then we had volunteer panelist, look at all of that data can like Richard had his friends around the coffee table and is actually his conference table. We gather on those volunteers. They each look about 35 candidate they didn't think they look at all of the information we gather and how they'd answer the survey.

They read to their website, they read through their twitter feed any social media think Google and they did what can they find me guide them on our evaluation criteria simply don't just research candidate we actually evaluate candidates on their political philosophy on a scale from verified local to verify conservative and ethical volunteer panelist do we train then we facilitate we facilitate their their dating and deadly pulling together on a good meeting where there with 3 to 5 others that had looked at the same candidate. Our staff facilitate the meeting to discuss each candidate and where they fall on our guidelines of credit which rating there's the data matches with that we rank them and then back let go the end of voters get to see so many that I voter die.com you enter your address and then you'll see the race is on your personalized ballot and a list every candidate and that Republican primary and then a little gas gauge shows you that rating if you want to see all the data it's all there for you to see for yourself.

Just click on the more button or the little arrow or their photo and you can check it out for yourself, especially in the primary, where there will be multiple candidates that are conservative, or moderate or whatever rating you align with, you can look at the data decide for yourself which one you want to go forward. When I could tell you about pork trying to give you a tool that you can decide for yourself which candidate is working for about know if I wanted to know who the NRA endorsed students for life endorsed will dig deep enough to push them more button is can actually tell me the endorsements of those individual organizations. We will we don't currently have a way for you to say I want to see everybody distance for life endorsed he would get back in the student life website what we've gathered together all of those groups.

All of those endorsements and it just shows on that candidates page. What a tremendous resource for folks if you're listening you would spend if you're here what WHO you would just spend numerous hours trying to compile this information and they are doing it all for you and it's absolutely free for you. This is a ministry for them. They want to see godly men and women elected public office, and they're giving you the tools NOW probe the same way every election cycle have people from our church are you from parent teachers organizations called me and said you should I vote for.

Well, now you can tell them to go to.

I voter guide.com it will have all the information because different people are interested in different things. You might be a secular member person want to know were going over to America or RA standard MAB life is your is your prime issue. Whatever your issues are. You can find out what those organizations think about your candidate with the finances. I know you said when you first came on. You work dealing with the financial side for candidates Debbie does. It is her way to do list all the donors were candidate or just short one on one to know all the donors.

What we are a process of identifying ideological cells.

Those groups that show either conservative or liberal values were trying to get at that that rating verified level to verify conservative so that you can have a voters can have an idea of how that person will vote whenever an office that's really our bottom goal is to evaluate their political philosophy but worldview is possible. We have several quick questions on our survey.

They get to worldview. So that's what was going after and so in campaign finance we go through a process downloaded all the data from the Federal election commission, any state that we cover their state legislative candidates. We download their full database of every you know, every person is given to the NRA. Every person is given the Planned Parenthood and then we match that organization and then we go through match the candidate so that that relationship, you'll see just the name of the organization that it neither sees money from a given money to candidates… It's just ideological names but it's not a comprehensive list of every mom-and-pop is given to somebody that makes sent you when people go to your site mostly election. Those two or three days away and and I have a number research. I want to do my research now, you mentioned a while ago that in the 35 states if I put in I guess to put in your ZIP Code. Is that how it knows where you are at, because my now covering local races you need to enter your full address because it just doesn't come just as too big to be able to to specify when you adjust your billing address you enter email address you any money that allows us to give you the race is just on your ballot to any active even got some auto complete and there to help you track us in you list what do you like a sample ballot. They can print out or you just lose the candidates were running in their bowl in place with that candidate in the race is that we are covering some just need it is not a list the races that II haven't research. Those were not covering your city Council so there will be races potentially on your polling place that we had not covered if we covered it. It will list all the candidates and their writing and there's a little icon in the upper right that looks like a printer and you can print out and carry that with you to the polls research oriented but yeah and and even that she did them during the polls is already filled out the indicates, the candidate is probably is a stronger biblical worldview than the Eure that I would think that what I do.

Personally I think tenant with a lot of political knowledge I'm I feel like I represent the Christian voter who need this information. I know there are a bunch of people out there who have friends who people commenting who I vote for an elephant in the last I'm the person who wants to ask somebody tell me about pork idling. I voter died before I voted I Texas we just had a runoff election on May 24. I would encourage you strongly voting every election night is November 5 I went to I voter guide and it listed all the races. If there was more than one candidate. That was the more conservative rating I click into look at their candidate profile page. I wanted to read how to answer the survey and the individuals that rated them so that I could choose between those that had the same rating which one I wanted to go for some light on the print icon. You can print the whole thing. Or you can select the ones you've already decided who you're going to vote for. And then it will print that you can take it to the polls with you, but you need to do a little bit of research before you to print that the race page because you may have some better rate. At the same rate information, folks were talking about. I voter guide you can learn more. I voter guide.com I will guide.com which is a lessors race sure about resources available to churches and churches can use this grade to help influence the legends of the LaSalle name, teacher organization or individual brands like the Energizer is socially cultivated 70498422 is social in a world crowded with viewpoints of voice condition after a set of financial problems. Debbie will tell you the president of a great resource called voter guide you get. I voter guide.com and you just will have a wealth of information you can send thousands of hours in every of the information is available to you absolutely free in one location on the Internet is the best resource out there until you have done this for many many decades and I've been involved a lot of different campaign there some great resources by other organizations, but none have the comprehensive research and information available like you can get at. I voter guide.com's one encourage you to check them out before asked about churches. Debbie wanted to ask you to if I put in my address is to give me a sample ballot that we just talked about using the information on the candidates running visit.

Also, tell me my polling place if I don't know what enter your draft will take you to a page that will either show you your sample ballot if we've already released voter guide for your address. We are still working on voter guides for some of the state, so it may shift tell you know were still working on it that so many days until we release your voter guide and ask you to sign up for our email list it helically will then let you go now when we release voter guide to help you get on our email list which I would strongly encourage you don't fill your email box email about once a week and then we'll let you know when elections are coming up the church. We do have on that same page.

There's a little tile at the right working on the phone down at the bottom that they find my polling place and that will take you to a link where you can find out where you go in your local area where nationwide voter guide could probably get to take you to a link in your state when you click your county or click your study or do something to find out one of the hours of the polling places with the procedure for turning in my ballot. Can I mail it in every state. I am sure you can imagine is its own unique piece. As far as how they run their elections and how that works but we've got all the links there on that ballot page, you can print out and what you just said is such an important point to good coming out of 20/20 collection is: jewels are not federal laws are different in every state and in every state has their own regulations. If we don't know if there's a list of other may not know if he or she are registered to vote in the is database they can access through. I voter guide was her way for them to register to vote on. I voter guide link that I'm double checking it right now by entering mailing address but was there and I'm double checking tile on the right.

That would give you a link to register to vote or to find out if you registered and there find your polling place email us and we will help you out. We've got a great team that had information can direct you to the right place or the right place on our website or on the state website so on are on the footer page for I voter guide to contact us if you have questions that you're not able to find the answer.

Just let us know. We have a great team that is really trying to provide as many resources of the Canton voters. So if you need help, but "if you're just tuning you were talking about. I voter guide.com it is the best resource for Christian voters in the nation today.

It's all absolutely free and so much of her way she can find out where candidates are giving their donations from either giving money to how they voted on issues how the rank about other organizations were you vote in your neighborhood so much great information is available. What the election days are in your state, Debbie. I know a lot of churches asked is it legal for me to hand out a voter guide and you have a great resource on your page just for churches.

So we have a pastor or deacon or somebody that the leader of the church listening and they're afraid you. I think we can do this because of the violation of church and state what you want to tell you that it's simply not true. There is nothing in the Constitution that ever says anything about separation of church and state is not a case where any church is lost or 501(c)(3) status for registering voters. That's right, you can have a voter registration drive at your church and these this voter guide put out by I voter guide.com will we call 501(c)(3) compliant meeting its information and education that is available to Christian voters is not an endorsement is just educating Christian voters as 100% legal for you to hand this out. You can even print out. I believe Debbie greatly from wrong debris you believe you can even print out a voter guide to insert in your bulletin but can you tell us about the resources available for churches that might be listed because it is really important. I feel like it's that Christian stewardship responsibility to protect vote because God tells us that he felt like an atheist way we can be felt like by getting people electing people who represent what's important to us, so that they pass laws that are consistent with our values fell on either die.com in the top menu is the worst act ACP click on the afterword and it will show you various tiles or options in the information we have one of those church resources help you click on church resources we have on information that you can pass out at church. We have the bulletin insert that you can download and print up like that two of them on a 8/2 by 11 foot in a bulletin not that voter guide like a minor thing in the past that says candidate side-by-side with the other foot supports or poses different issues. Basically a flyer that said that I voter die.com to get your personal life ballot because everybody in my church. Everybody said at first we couldn't print all of the state legislators and if we started to do board candidates that would be on that personalized ballot so it really just help voters go to the website, enter your address. Get your own ballot that is completely C3 compliant had a church line that can be shown in PowerPoint before services business card. It's like a pushcart just as I voter die.com grounded in God limited in research go there to find out information on your candidate and then we also have letters from legal groups. The first liberty wrote a document called church and government. Know your legal right you can get to your pastor that just documents what Chris just said is also a letter from our legal counsel telling pastors at our church in many C3 you can point people to.

I voter guide because we don't tell people who to vote for just and information to decide for themselves.

I will tell you you can't print the basket. It would be an individual I can print out that life ballot begins the little rating that the ratings are something that is why I voter die.com. We are tax-exempt, but we are a 501(c) four organization because of those rating churches can send people to I voter guide that they may not want to print date, the actual candidate evaluations and half about an individual in the congregation certainly can pass on our church page right is good. I voter guide.com you can get all this information, the Debbie said they have a great logo was already prevailed. PowerPoint slides owe a lot of churches I know I have slides prior to the service beginning or after the service and that something you should be putting your rotation between now and November every single week of that slide up and and you can also put in your bulletin every even if you don't do the bulletin insert which is available absolutely free and I would surely encourage you once early voting begins. That Sunday before early voting yard with the entire insert because you want to educate Christian voters we have George Bartus who is a Christian vulture says that there are nearly 40 million Christians who profess to be Christians are eligible to vote, that are not even register to vote. States today answers. I am telling you there so many important issues right now whether the abortion issue or you're the economy that affects your church to your gonna lose your right to tell other people about Jesus. We don't win this nation back to Jesus Christ and for the way we do that is to elect godly men and women to public office and pastors you need to be telling your church about the issues of the day the candidates that are running. This is the best way to do it. It's 100% 501(c)(3) compliant by encouraging your people in your church to visit. I voter guide.com so they can learn more about the candidates in the issues that are coming up in your community and not in withers and primaries right now or in the general election in November.

Debbie water. Are there any changes that will be seeing you know you at show many new features and for the time he joined 2011 so they'll you this is just grown exponentially order new things coming down the road we can expect to find that I voter guide.com well market were continuing to grow and expand. So the goal is to be covering no more candidates will racist down ballot in the coming election were also looking at it won't happen the cycle. But beyond 2022 covering a ballot proposition like ballot proposition giving you a way to search for candidates by name, giving you a key no gathering information on on a particular issue and and letting you see, here's the quote like it like with my issue here is the pro-life groups and who they'd endorsed there so many think they will not all the data there's a whole bunch of ideas that we have spoke how we would grow and expand beyond 2022 and the biggest one in my book and my buckets were trying to grow this army of volunteers who will help us to research down ballot because it takes volunteers and it takes finances longer provided free to voters wanted to support what we value. I would ask for your support. So how do people do that if someone does one of volunteers that that's a great deed. I would take. But you know her desire pain act page that you hand the church resources color get involved page.

If you scroll down to become a candlelight and panelist are in trouble. Part of. I voter guides process to evaluate candidates and we need to know all 50 states. You can click to learn more button and billing tell you about that you know the requirements it's about we estimate 8 to 12 hours of your time per election will require you to apply as a button. Apply now you can apply and speak. You can become a panelist and help to evaluate the candidate what we've heard from the people who service panelist is not only do they feel like they're performing a valuable community service to their neighbors in researching and evaluating the candidate they learn what to look for in the candidate in the race is the even we don't cover that they feel eclectic I would look for their County judge or information on their city Council equipping people in more ways than one who to vote for that.

Also how to be more informed about while great information. This is something that is really believed for a long time Debbie. I commend you and your company for what you're doing help Christians become educated voters. Thank you so much for being with us and I'll thank you for the opportunity.

We also have to work together how the body Christ the soap folks visit I voter guide.com as I voter guide.com you can learn about what your church can do with the resources available and you can even volunteer to help them as they shrink in it again. I voter guide.com thank you so much for listening today was here everyday drizzly radio station this show will be released later saying pastors really are within the ducks off until next time.
