The treasurers of the hundred and 19 so we are going on a treasure hunt and the gold we are seeking in this treasure hunt is actually the phrase of God like join us taking this deep dive mining with David in the hundred and 19 day we get again mining in the event section that had better bet here in the hundred 19 Psalm and so this verse reads I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies as much as in all riches, so we've leveled up with King David and the 12 verse 20 said blessed are there.

He said the Barack and he asked taught his statues. In other words, those who been given will be given more, and then in the last episode we talked about how critical to a house.

Our mouths are and the things that we say the buildup, not tear down and so he's done that by declaring all the judgments of thy mouth, and so now we we interestingly turn to rejoicing again as we're getting close to landing on the whole bet section. Once again we find King David where he seems to love to be is rejoicing in this time he is rejoicing in the way of thy testimonies and so it's really cool when you think about it that the testimony would King David brought the ark of the covenant right. That was the ark of the testimony, and so in that were the tablets of the 10 Commandments and was the staff that had bided in the manner so there was all sorts of things in there that were witnesses that literally when it talks about rejoicing before his testimonies. I mean nobody could say that a coolie and as King David, because you know his wife. I gave him quite a hard time about it. The way he rejoiced in the way and so it's kind of interesting that he was bringing in fact I think it's tremendously interesting that he was clearly rejoicing in the way and again this word Derek. We talked about even from the very first first of the Psalm because we know that Jesus is the way he is the narrow gate and so here's a very narrow way. And here he saying that in far as his house is concerned, you know it needs to have this testimony will beautifully as you might imagine, since we all are temples of the Holy Spirit.

We get to have a holy of holies we get to have ark of the testimony right there in our very house in our very hearts and slept on this many times because I think is absolutely amazing what God put into the ark there for King David he put into each of our hearts right because he is in there is the way the truth and the life. But if our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Where's the holy of holies will it's in our heart which is clearly the house for God and so inside of our arcs are these witnesses to the things that he's done he's written his law in our hearts and we talked about that many times through this bet section, but there's also the staff that, but it and it's one of the most beautiful things that's in the ark for my perspective because the branch started the rod that bided is an almond print because the Allman is the firstfruits in Israel. So the first thing that you go see Bloom and Israel will be in Allman and so this staff that, but it is a picture of the firstfruits and the staff. Of course, is once again Jesus, who is leading in our hearts. In other words, how important to our house. Is it that we have Jesus is actually in charge and guiding us with the staff right is Rod and his staff, comforters will guess what it's right there in your heart and it's the staff that bided because he is the firstfruits it's it's an amazing thing. Of course we talked about that is hidden the word in our heart.

But then there's the manna and oily of the manna. If we go for it every morning and nearly good enough for that day. Interestingly, and I don't know about you but hopefully these mining expeditions have been party or manner. They should have been for me as each day. This man is made new, and so here he is rejoicing later is going to guard the testimony, but right now he's rejoicing in those testimonies. Other words, he's dancing before the Lord, you can picture the scene as he is coming into Jerusalem with the ark there and here. This is critical to our houses right that we again have this beautiful like that. You think it's just remarkable that the ark disappeared, you know right after Jesus kind appeared on the scene to now. Guess what the reason that is is because the ark of the covenant is in you, I'm just telling you he'd written on your hearts.

The staff that's butted in their Jesus is in their and the manner that we get made new.

Every morning I mean this particular verse is one that I simply rejoice so much that God showed me these things through study and the ark for years and years and years of the ark of the trust of the testimony here again as as John Bunyan pointed out that our testimony will include things that we were an eyewitness to in our life.

Things that we saw God do because those things are the things that tell us he's gonna do it again, and that's often in his word, but is often things that he did in your very life like in my case, like when I was struggling with the brain abscess and the nurse came in and held my hand and I sense that that was about. Those are things that I will never forget those are treasured in my heart and I rejoice before the Lord in those more than all riches better than I do mean he is simply blessed our inheritance right bigger and better than all riches and King David understood this and here we can pray with him for we have rejoicing to more than all the way all in the way of will be big again tomorrow.
