Welcome to the Christian Car Guy radio show. The cop showed dedicated to helping Christians buy and sell cars by the blue book. Now the orange book, but by God's book, the Bible called the Christie car guy with your questions. One 866-34-TRUTH that's 18663 for 87884 as being a Christian have to do with buying a car you're about to find out is your host Ronnie Gilmore last week. We did our Jesus take the wheel show where numbers of amazing calls.

We re-had all kinds of folks on when Jesus took the wheel in their life and so before I get to the data show which today shows topic is beyond repair.

One is a car too far gone. I do want to share an email that actually received at 7 o'clock this morning from a listener out there and here's what she wrote. She said this past Christmas Eve I was driving home in Albuquerque on I 40 when my tire blew. I was in the second left lane and no one slowed down by grace and only by grace.

I made it through the speeding semi's to park on the shoulder and while I was in park. I was shaken up because I'd never had an accident before. All I kept saying to myself was Lord let me get home on see my kids. I forgot there was a spare in the trunk. Otherwise I would've tried to put it on while I was in park waiting for help. I was rear-ended by a lady that couldn't speak English. She stopped in my bump had I been changing that time that I remembered I would not of been home to see my babies, the Lord kept me here a little bit longer that day me and my kids love them so much and we've learned not to take things for granted and you know Bob you get email like that at 7 o'clock in the morning from somebody that sees what God is done as just wonderful wonderful that they recognize how Jesus took the wheel in their life and it's even more wonderful. But to me that I got got to hear about it this morning.

Very amazing staff first thing in the morning bread so you may not have had a chance to share your Jesus take the wheel story last week and you been thinking all week. I should've called and we are to give another chance because we never want to miss out on the testimony here on the Christian Car Guy show, so if you got something believing we still want to hear it. 866-34-TRUTH 878848663487884 as a number to call in a course. We have just as exciting a topic today. Really Bob, I I am really excited about this on all sorts of levels because today's topic is beyond repair. What does that look like, what is it look like when a car is so far gone that there is no way you can never fix it as a question and and interestingly, Bob God often teaches me about principles like this through my own trials in my own moons, and this may seem way off topic but believe it will come back to Carter's one morning this week I was actually feeling pretty distant from God and you know I got up to my quiet time and I so used to that time being so precious. I felt distant and I so II turn to a book that I do when I feel at times like that called walking with God by John Eldridge and in that he talked about a similar timer. He was feeling distant from God, and he quoted Romans 611 and in the reason he did which Romans 611 says in the same way count yourselves did the sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. The reason he said that was that so often the presenting sin or the thing that we think is keeping us between God and us is not the real issue. The issue is Satan is trying to make you believe you're not qualified to be close to God.

You don't have it you know this sin, free life, and all those kind of thing so by quoting Romans 611. He was pointing out that we are perfect to be as close to God as possible so up a little bit further because I when I went to that passage in the Bible and I read that and I wanted to sink lip-synching will deeper in Romans six Ford actually says. We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death, in order that Christ would be raised from the dead through the glory of the father and I started think about buried in the likeness of his death raised to walk.

I thought well. My sin was buried in baptism. It went in the two and it's not coming out and as I was saying that I was reaching out my right arm and all of a sudden I felt the scar that I have on my right side is actually where they put a chest tube and when I fell out of a tree years ago and with that scar. I can take my finger. I can reach in and actually touch my long but all of a sudden I realized mean Jesus at the same scar you know he had this car that when they wanted to see if he was actually dead, they took the spear and they put it in his side. There so that the water and the blood flow and when that flew out whenever came out. They then verified that he was dead so they didn't have to break his legs when he was on the ground and so when I stuck my finger in that scar. I was realizing is dead. As Jesus was.

That's where my sin is and I got a scar right here to prove now with that being said, I'll bet you got a scar.

I bet there something with you that would seem like maybe it was beyond repair and I would love to hear that story this morning 866348788486634 truth when did you get a scar like that they reminded you. Perhaps of some spiritual truth like that and we would love to hear it. 866-34-TRUTH 87884 Bob you look like you got some I feel like the scar master. Rather, I have my physical scars where I've had a few surgeries are made and things from the skin and then I have my mother scars that I carry with me every day and sees me. It's just we have the scars we had the things that with dates shows the know we know the things that have happened to Lewis we have the little reminders in our physical and we had the reminders of our our emotional scars we have managed this, but sometimes as scholars creep these out and and we found ourselves reacting towards others in a way that we really don't think we should be reacting to amend that way. And then we think about it is not something they did, necessarily.

It's just something that still inside those wounds, there still. Additionally, there still so many things and okay you might be listing and think of who is that what this is. If our Christian junker guy Bob from 109 you put on Robbie Gilmore, the Christian Car Guy. If you just tuned in. Yes, we do want to talk about cars and this is a very fascinating principle I think is taught so well with the image that we just use if you go to Christian Car Guy.com right now. You'll see a picture of all sorts of cars that would look like their way beyond repair. There in a junkyard.

They have been neglected for years and years and years and years and here's the thing. Here's what I wrote above, these cars, as I showed them in restoration. Never be ashamed of the scar. It simply means that the love of the restorer was greater than the forces trying to destroy you and the same is true for a car that no matter how bad the car may be the frame may be rusted through. There may be the engines fixed ago if the person that loves that car dearly enough that car can be restored and quite often financially better off to do that and in the course I've got living proof out here already got 373,000 miles and because I love that car. I continue to restore it, and whatever car you're driving if you love that car right Bob. Oh yes you can do it.

You can continue to make repairs. You can continue to do things and there's the principal but as I was thinking about it and I can see and Bob if you walk out across your yard and you see all these cars there. There's one after the other after the other. Everyone's. While some become along an essay that I been looking for one of those is happened time and time again in the so many people just in a get loves this Commonwealth in the yard and and diskette, and then say well I remember and wow I remember we have an antique section that many folks are really led to go and look at and add this in a and something day I'll have about cars out of that section and and take them home and I'm always waiting for the one that comes and gets wind and brings it back in and shows that often everything you know we've had some reappear for a viewing that the is is just amazing how far down, something can be and be restored like Ezekiel dry bones right now me merely a marker which by the way out I really had fun doing this picture and it's a Christian Car Guy.com it's our Facebook page. It's on twitter. I took all these different cars and I will challenge you to when you look at the first picture to see if you can name these cars let out what is his car in its you know condition of actually they seem to be melting down into the ground. Sometimes Bob you that the tires go flat and then they break you know and over a period of time. More ground bills up around them and they seem to be actually melting in the but we would love to hear your wrists Jeff restoration story, be it car or beat yourself or be at your Jesus, take the love will take the story, 866348788486634 truth so much more. Christian Car Guy shall come in after we need your call 866-34-TRUTH 8788 and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a picture of what were talking today when is a car be on repair and what does that look like that's a TDT bang bang would be your ultimate restoration project that you have the grand arguments children. They love that car and because of that it was one of those it was melting down into the ground and because of the love that they had for the car didn't sound exactly like every other car. Obviously it made it sound but they restored it and the point is it and I don't think I can actually make it strong that God so loved us that he is willing to do whatever it takes to take is even know were melted down in the ground but also if we truly love our cars and will do what they need to have done to keep them in repair, they will last as long as you want that car last, the more love you have for a car in a butte you see these tractors out the elements and always different things. These people that truly love these cars and again there's plenty of pictures there Christian Car Guy.com that they do in fact last forever. Now I should mention the bottom of the hour. We have a gentleman on from Ford one of their engineers that you know they've resurrected the the Shelby Mustang may have some really cool stuff to talk about that Morgan picked them up at the bottom of the hour, but we are talk about our physical restoration and it's a good thing to talk about at the beginning of the year and we would love to hear about your scar. By the way, we would love to hear how God is been teaching you, 866-348-7884 is a number to call and ensure we would love to hear your story. 866-34-TRUTH 87884. But Bob, you know, sometimes these cars have yet to get all the necessary healing right when you started and skis me when you started talking about restoration this morning and this made me realize that you know I just like a car there's an outward restoration. You can make it look good, but that inside you know the internals and in the interior. Now that is a necessary part to and it's kind like me have on the exterior. I have become.

I've got to the point where I can walk walk a decent walk in the Anna. I'm pleased as talking to my wife the other night that I hope gonna keep doing the things for me that he's done to where I can keep functioning and keep doing the work in key people employed in an and go and do the things I like today and the things I need today, but I realize that there say much more on the inside that still need some restoration and I not commanded when you said that someone came to me this this year I actually like I keep asking Jesus what is it about me that like you that I've got. That's obviously something you would like us to work on together where's my Isaiah 6.

What what changed you want to break. How do you want to set me free.

Of those, things in this year's as I was going through my recent resolution. Jesus told me pride was like okay what exactly suggests is very weak. Bob and I get in my quiet time I start saying okay, Jesus is pride thing.

Let's talk about pride. What part of that is is it that is that we need to work on and that well as I but I kept planting what is it we need to work on.

What is it we need to work on and all of a sudden I heard Robbie, you don't always have to have the answer.

As the Christian Car Guy also spoke about people or cars you see the that you see the attack of the enemy. Robbie, you don't always have to have the answer and I felt so busted like oh Jesus that's exactly right. I don't always have to have the answer.

How does that play out what is what is it that you want to share with me their and I started to think back to why is it that I think I always have to have the answer and I went right back to when I headed off to sixth grade. Which by the way, I failed six grade the first time I did it and when I was heading off to six grade.

My father clearly said to me Robbie bees are better bees are better if the father thickets up like and I said to him in the same sense of humor I have to the state will dad, don't get your hopes up, but I can remember going out the door thinking in order for my father to really love me. In order for me to get that grace from him that feeling like I am his favorite. I got have the answer, and I'll have the answer I got to get the answer and I don't want to get the answer and II actually Jesus night we spent a little time and tears as I realized that there's no way my name used to be Bruce in those days.

There's no way little Bruce understood that his father really did was and only love. And if he got bees are better but little Bruce didn't processed will Bruce thought he had. And the answer and so now Jesus got me a marriage. We could pray through restoring that to where we are today realizing that I had this car from six grade which I know I failed but was still there that I had to have the answer because you know if I kept failing my father when you let me and and and there was some restoration that took place and so if you call in today. I may not have the which by the way, be nice if you did, 866-348-7884 866-34-TRUTH Bob that it's it's fun to go on those kind of healing missions which idea if the anybody tell me I be able to function and be able to deal I have done since Rob left us last Friday, not yesterday, but the week before was one year anniversary of his death and I was just really prepared to have a terrible rotten you know really bad day and there's this existing didn't work out like that. It was a good day it was. Everything went pretty good to an island. We lowered our flag to half mast in the like we did last year when he died in the pool we were walking back across the parking lot afterward prayed for little bit.

We saw one playing up there in the sky and the sun reflecting off island that shining down upon us and in and for me that was part of my healing.

Part of my restoration then the this little things like that happen that this, let me know that he still around is still with me in memory still with his friend. We still have Rob in a heart rifle working to be talking more about Windsor car beyond the point of no return and then what is it that you could you please call us 866-34-TRUTH 878 840 hears more about the Mustang.

We got Tracy Nashville got a whole lot for you to stay tuned 866-34-TRUTH is and and and just have an in and you might think this shall be my things gone, but it surely isn't we've got Gary belittled Dori here with the Ford and he's going to tell as well. You guys have resurrected quite a car morning we and from what I understand in the news reports that came out this week to carry. This is the most track ready performance reduction card is ever been manufactured by four that is greatly taken. The Mustang to complete new level actually announced the original GG 350 in November and then in the Detroit auto show this week or this past week we end introduced the ER, which then is very very difficult to track racing includes altering the very interesting and innovative content which really make our absolutely outstanding as I was looking through that you know be in the eye and some stuff just jumped out at me carry one of the things was this new flat plane crankshaft when the world is flat plane well by plane crankshaft description of it. If you look down the length of the crankshaft itself a normal V-8 that we do like the normal five leaders called weak crankshaft and you'll see that all the journals you look down the centerline of the crankshaft.

There are 90° apart with a flat lingering there hundred and 80° apart, literally.

Explain what you look down the significance that is just the ability of the firing order and how it can help scavenge and increase performance, especially if the higher RPM so that down for people that may not be all that familiar with the crankshaft.

We got a lot of listings out there that may not be that what the crankshaft is actually is connected to the Pistons and as you may know, is this Pistons fire that's where you get the power that spins the crankshaft, which is how you get the power out of the car. Well, this Pistons are in the V-8 configuration, meaning that you got eight different Pistons and so it is describing which is unique right Bob, you let your look at my eye has it that Aryan is the way that those opposed.

Normally you know once pushed up in the other ones pushing down in order to get the crankshaft to spin but you're talking about something I've never heard before, but now that when you put those at a different angle. Then you change the way those fire and so when ones pushing it's not total in the way that it it had in the normally configured engine and can you slow that down from our listeners will bit and tell us how that improves performance of the normal firing order as all the cylinders go up and down expired but was based on that very complex operation of how the fuel comes in the air-conditioned with the likely crankshaft of credit.

Make it a simple possible. It enables the firing of opposing bank the right time so that if you look at the overall power stroke and goes down and comes often air fuel comes in and allows the highest concentration of air fuel mixture into the cylinders they give you especially more efficient and more power and the most powerfully nationally and naturally aspirated engine ever right that you guys are produced for production. That's right. And so it's okay. How many horsepower are not announcing any official number and tell us more than more than 500 hp more than 100 wow this gets another really cool cool innovations carbon fiber wheels and imagine that Bob and unsprung weight. If you're in the racing is a huge gigantic tremendously big deal but can you imagine a production car with carbon wheels 19 inch ones I understand. Each of the carbon fiber wheels about 12 at our 13 pound weight gain over the normal aluminum alloy wheel that we have on the normal GQ 350. They are a huge improvement not only from and unsprung mass perspective, but also from a locating recorder inertia but just how much weight spin around the axis of the wheel and it very significant. That's incredible. I mean, we had people at the racetrack. He sees the breakdowns on the rearing and I just get a little advantage & I can imagine.

So Carrie you being the technical guy that we can tell way over our heads on marital assets now are glad the forts got better ideas. You guys are doing so I what has you the most excited about this capability in the car, even though it is extremely capability of the car from a performance perspective are not of anything that we really done before.

The nice thing about it is when you drive it. It's not this extreme car that will beat you up on the road or you know that you don't feel comfortable driving everyday. I mean because of the magstripe dampers in the tuning we could chat all with the help of the light weight carbon fiber wheels in the lower unsprung mass when your normal mode are actually very very comfortable to drive it very easy to drive and it will enable you to be comfortable going from you know your house. The grocery store or if you're doing laps that your local racetrack or take her wherever you go. Are will make you feel like a professional race car driver when you're on the track and it very very driving very soon. God bless you. We appreciate you joining us today to find out more about this. A Christian card and I calming a little bit GT 350 Shelby Mustang and just click on that and find out all about it.

God bless your brother appreciate you called into the Ravinia Cricket is fun. All right, you can tell they did some serious frustration there Bob serious condition we would love to hear your restoration are about your scars, we have Tracy is in Asheville, North Carolina. Tracy ran a Christian card.

I know we lost Tracy and he might be: in 866-34-TRUTH 878-848-6634 truth, we would love to hear you know what is God then in the restoration of you are maybe you have a car restoration you thought there's no way in the world that this car could ever come back but you were witness to that very thing.

It was not saying that it's always financially the right or smart thing the day that there is you're exactly right brother. There is no car beyond repair. 866-34-TRUTH 87884 as a member to call in 866-34-TRUTH. We got to Ms. in Durham to mirror on the Christian card I show the morning apartment okay all right well is good to hear Tim with with medically always wanted to turn down his radio and we appreciate and listen here in North Carolina you are you back with his team.

Well, he's all right. Intel is 82 miles are seven what you got. I'm excited about the matter this morning on your show the conflict with what you met working with the government back at you Truth Network yeah that's when you have really got something going it out will be back to get some help for me right now. I would left on the second owner right but I let it sit for well and found out I would try to click it and it would crank like I bought a new coupon to put on but I need one and out identify exactly when U, Rick, and it would just be quick about it.

I have my foot on the accelerator line and I found it to be so black it will signal to the shop since not really mechanic and I can get it running. I know that they could shop they can make it work and I can drive with the shop. He told me. That my problem is not my carburetor or anything like that is in the motor the file cabinet with plastic inside the motor had gotten old and is not allowed it to breed like it should rotate right you need to go in the motive active okay give me a price you gave me a price I started thinking I could because I really don't want to do because sentimental to me but I'm willing to try to get some information to find out which way to go with the collapse of the greatest matter I break that I do want to help you that is just hang on just put on hold for a minute and we we come back and helped him.

We got Rick and my mom's got a scar, stories, and allow you so much, that she is and we need to hear your 860-348-7889 and in going to farming when it comes to restoration of a car or person for that matter where you been talking about that.

We've got to Ms. and Jeremy's wrist restoring and 82 Mazda RX seven Tim I assume from what you're saying at some rotary engine and similar to the Ford car. They were just describing there's technology in there that's not that common. And so the biggest question is the man that you've got this working on your car does he have a lot of experience with rotary engines make great God right way the point where the little expensive for me okay. I don't think I want to go that far because he wanted like $3000 to redo the edge will work if it is not the problem with a colleague that we doctors rebuild operator with a click okay city ticket and he noted that the owner to put a rotary workaholic that I'm to be wrong. It had plastic okay that's good, gotten political an invalid engine right. Those certain decision create enough vacuum to pull the file on and so and so he is right and there's little thing. If you can fix it right and that in because if you're going to keep the car for 20 years that $3000 when you divided over that 20 years and can be well worth it and that another words II put that kind of money in the old red.

I guess almost 7 years ago when I put a new engine.

I put a bunch of money but mankind has served me in it. When you compare to going out and buying a brand-new unit of Dodge Dakota for 30 grand that three grand and Sam too bad and I and I still drive an old red and I love the car and so if it's affordable, which is a huge part of the equation.

Tim yes right yes if it's affordable. It's not a bad investment if you get to drive the car another 20 years, $3000 is hundred $50 a year. You know it's it's taken on and I didn't move your nameplate. Usually it's Robbie tomorrow. I called collapse. I got preoperative limit of your modem where it might go to Scott at the prayer because I won't be restored. Okay related gave it to me with almost 100 years old and believe it is out of courseware community about it guys you get like 95. Here is a key in the title. Everything okay but I looked for had done a lot of things for which we can go out for an inadequate pot. If that property to my back up the long line that I had with no one to drive at night. I think that the solution may well be that if you go to jam Internet access.

I don't have active through Internet, but I have that I got you today make my Christian car guy.com and has my email address that you that you lied car guy.com email me your situation and I will try to try to see what I can do to use my resources to help because I can see you got a project there God I want to do it. Yeah, that's what I wanted to have you be able to look up about Outlook. No click that and out quick enough for you. Click on I went back to my battery.

I would make it fixable to let go. Click to see what we can do. God bless you better appreciate and delegate Christian guy got me an email that you email it to me and I will get to her counseling. Okay, I'll do it, experiment, email.com Christian car guy.com bless all rights we've got.

Rick is in Greensboro. He's got a 1960 Imperial Rick you're on a Christian car guy show the morning Rick can you hear my yeah yeah I had a great okay only store that I knew you would love it and I knew Bob what is will happen with a friend of mine's fault beautifully restored 1960 Imperial, not my. We had had one in her family. She describes seeing this happen it up car show small and in Greensburg happen once a month until the winter and beautiful car sitting there in the man that owned it.

Standing there showing off his car and this woman comes up with another woman by the hand, a woman if she was leaving at gloves on. She was completely blind but nobody knew that first and she began to put her hand on the car with her gloves on course and begin to describe the most joyous way one up beautiful car and she felt the bumper in the quad headlights in the grill and that the eyebrows over the quad headlights and describing in the man did on the propaganda just as eyes welled up with tears as this woman not seeing the car said this is the most beautiful car I've ever seen and she began to run her hands down to the back to the big fans on the back of the bonsai taillights we had the exact same car so that my friend was telling the cycle I got a note this car and then she described it on you. I know this man I met in mono sales call. So I'm to follow up in your lap and he opened the door and let this blind woman get in the car because of the special moment she begin to describe the pushbutton transmission and the big oval steering wheel and all she was just raving about it and he was just weeping at the checkpoint as was my friend and others watching this unfold.

So my hope and prayer is that a follow-up this man knows the car.

I know him to visit him and him and remind him of that story and hopefully use it as a transition to talk about God and that my hope is to build it.

Maybe next year to have a little article I can send you call what the blind woman saw and maybe the Lord will even help me to track her down and find out where she is.

I just wanted you to know you so rightly, that is this huge blessing and what it is that there's so much in that story.

That way we could probably do a whole show on it. So that means you you send that to me. God bless your brother appreciate you so much on that.

That's the thank you Brett. I appreciate you and try to move an oxygen sensor from the knuckles the mom you know lately that I hope you been hold non-you got a scar story for us. We don't have a lot of time but can you share it up. Try to make it quick. I like to get out. I mono and everything under study the Bible and very wonderful minister told me to go back and really study your Bible every morning I and then 50. That I can't find me teaching the great commandment in the law and you shall love the guy and your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your mind and is in great commandment and like to let you shall love your neighbor as yourself and God gave integration.

I love my and it is taking me a lot to learn how to love myself not to put my First but I can't really love And that my story the Bible has answers for everything. I live nearby, I love you mom is pretty amazing that we have to restore sales for we can really love others and we can be going along just fine and everything they can really get in and something super tragically happens in, and then we're needed so much work is like an awesome car that's smashed into the braids and there's just a lot of repairs and is not a restoration needs to be done in as some of us outside invisible and then some others on the inside and in a got a restored mass.

You know this week. Think about this. Never be ashamed of us scar. It simply means that the love of the restorer was greater then the forces trying to restore you just like my mom story, the love of God poured that into restore her soul and is there for us but we just spend time with him this week. Thank you for listing the Christian car
