Will you Christian Car Guy rotation five. Three. You know, not all guys are back when I look in there. I say yes. This year the Christian Car Guy radio show. We were so glad back with you today. The question today. I'm a Christian. Cargile show is your roots kind of do they define your fruits or that they determine your roots determine your fruits well in so many ways I think this is true Celestine start off with a few questions and yes we have some spring cleaning tips for you today that but our main story today is your story.

So here are some questions I want to think about with did your father or your mother struggle with road rage that they really and do you honestly have some struggles there maybe or not I'm not going to pull out a gun but you spirit you seriously get angry when somebody cuts you off in the and the people in the car all are aware that you have a struggle or did your father mother struggle that you struggle about. Did your father mother enjoy driving. They just love to drive it just love to go place they love to go on vacations, and most things do you is that something that you enjoy. Did your father mother hate buying a car. I mean made that horsetrading thing was not for them. They did not just going to do that was just like it was a struggle and so how about you you struggle with that or did your father and mother love looking at new cars they love don't think they love horsetrading that was some that they dearly loved. Do you is that something you feel like about your father, mother, did they hate working on cars you know all man. It needs all of the last thing the world they would ever to his go out and pull drain plug on a car or in intercourse how you feel about that. But if your father went out if you just love to spend time of the note change in my, Stephanie took you out there how you feel about that how you feel about changing how you feel about working cars. Is there something to your roots. Is it determining your fruits when it comes to cars so this being a live show. I would so love. I would really really love to hear your family story. What kind of roots when it comes to cars.

Did you inherit 866-348-7884. This is a live show and we definitely want to hear your story. 866-34-TRUTH 87884. What did your family love to do. Maybe there's a sweet route. Maybe long vacations. Your dad working out in the garage taken you along. Maybe your you went with your family to buy your first car and they all came along and you guys had a marvelous time or maybe didn't we want to hear those stories, 866-348-7884 we have lines open and we definitely need you. That's what you guys are the biggest part of the show. That's why need to call but maybe you're like me, your dad struggled a little bit with anger in my car and as people grow too slow. There were morons, and as they grow too fast used to say will absolutely make angels to find out for the diagram or another one and it again. I love my dad. We have a marvelous relationship, but he knows where struggles are I know are minor or another.

When I remember well because it made my brother and I giggle inside a car she didn't dare laugh out loud looking people. But when someone would pull my dad off he went.

At this! Say that just chaps my family and my little brother and I would man it was everything we could do in the back seat to keep from laughing so we need your stories 866-34-TRUTH 878-848-6634 truth for the digitally gifted Jerry, how would you answer as it did your dad and I can see that my dad was in the car business I'm in the car business. Your dad was ready of Ray's body shop. Obviously there is some root there that bear some fruit. Now mind that that the story you know how it goes in. My dad worked right worked at Reynolds for years and in one one day he had decided that he always love messing with cars working on cars doing bodywork paintwork and just refurbishing cars and one day he came home and told my mom that he just quit and was an open upper body shop and that was it. The two years ago when Anna Surat now you can see these things, they happen and so we would love your story 866-34-TRUTH 866-34-TRUTH 87884 we have. Jane is in Seattle, Washington this morning early. Jane you're on the Christian Car Guy show the morning I hear. I have a lot of driving family story. I loved working on currently work on our current rate 90 America electronic computer. He couldn't quite work on anyone road rage that any thing that not using your current military syndicate making a turn people behind when nobody was doing well.

I have his 1973 Volkswagen that he did not like giving the turn signal gone and in turn signal after work I skipped out and be working okay but buying cars that he was an economic bracket for that day driving on no okay they find they were first married, they took a trip to Florida to cook turkey Arizona detective took a trip to the West Coast creek on the mount of the Pacific Ocean coming from the she like fell in love throughout our childhood we would do the trip from California to Arizona to wherever up to Canada and back driving months now widowed. She's 7089 Shall Be Dr. from LA to Seattle next two years ago she drove from LA to Nova Scotia well and and I I am really happy to drive.

That's the question I was roots in your family gave you just you know such memories.

I don't know what it is that you just really enjoy that kind of thing anyway I like it or not Dragon but my family would drive a long vacations we would go like Mount Rushmore. We would go out west to see the Sequoia national Forest and that, stuff that was my Deborah do we all get in the station wagon and off we went, and so I love doing stuff like that and there's no doubt that those roots are bearing fruit.

Thank you Jane. I appreciate you it's exactly what I needed this morning I all right I know that stirred up something in your mind 866-34-TRUTH 878841 about your family roots 866-34-TRUTH and we are complaining that noise that would have to do at the beginning of the next segment because it takes a few seconds to play the intro and all that stuff that we have a really fun kind of roots and fruits rinse and fruits name that noise, Jerry, and as I mentioned, you knowing today show. We are going to give you.

It's that time of year. Jerry where people go to get that Saltman stuff off the car, you know, it looks like a lot of the winter weather is over and it's time to get some spring cleaning. Think what Mark first day of spring in this part of the country that even parts of North Carolina Mounds, maybe to get a little snow so you may not think it's on the way but spring is around the corner and you're right it's a lot of things we do that along the life of our car and the look of our car.

So, in speaking, every time I just wanted to thank everyone who prayed for my mom last weekend. The VTEC hosted form easily auto parts nuts.com is I made the trip to Illinois. My mother got kinda ill and we got really worried.

And so we made this emergency trip, which I enjoyed by the Hydro Street, 312 hours. It's is that my love to, but I'm with you that I love to get behind the wheel just describes this time to go were going Illinois and my mother. Thank you, thank you for your prayers, I know a lot of you folks… Originally for my mom: whatever. She went from not being of the speak not been able to do a lot of things not be able to eat me sick to her stomach. By the time we left. She was walking Hall, I sorry need a place, and more importantly than that, I just talk and I got to spend time with my mom usually in there with chair up for sure what solicitor family stories.

I would love to hear from you about your family and cars.

How did that happen. Did you guys like buying cars that you are driving in cars like fixing cars. What did your family pass along to you. What would that look like you call us 866-34-TRUTH 87884 866-34-TRUTH and as I talked about roots and fruits. We do have this very special we want to play name that noise don't we Alex time to find that the more I like that hubbub name that is all that all right, here's your opportunity now noise. I will tell you 63487884 as a member to call in the course.

If you have that other story we were here 866-34-TRUTH 87884 and with the collar already, but we better get to but go ahead and play that noise or if they had the answer. The noise that would tell what the well Rob you are still in Stu Epperson's book Jesus or the company conspired with I think I know we have that book might be a little hard to find Holly a choice. Call us 866-34-TRUTH 87884 and one screenplay that noise you name all right, that's a roots and fruits noise.

You call us with your answer. 866-348-7884 866-34-TRUTH and again we had a caller call and we get to during the but you call us back 866-34-TRUTH 87884 and Jerry is that time of year where you know the salt is on the road and we gotta get that stuff off yes perfect opportunity to soar like all the stuff you just build up over the winter and in space. If you enter that do a lot of salting and stuff I mean is that stuff is critical to get that stuff out of there you're going take a caller and one come back to it are we going to talk about Hannah's one thing you know that that's so simple to do. Gotta remember that all of these.

All the roads are being salted Granby and put down and all that stuff gets up in the cavities of the vehicle up the undercarriage and Stefan S.

So many times. As with the rest starts know which is so important.

Either go to call washer in your driveway worn or something just get a lot of similar get some pressure on the water just rinse it out real good and you know I love the drafty ones have that undercarriage wash get that stuff out there in just just really do a good cleaning on it because that stuff gets in between the moldings and and all that stuff and then over the course of time you start seeing these little little bus arrest start creeping in. If you've already got the responses this sort of accelerates is so rapidly coming next limit time little bit care but you know what washing the cars that basic beginning to have good maintenance on the vehicle yet working to get Dave in the morning who has the name that noise around talk a lot more about how to properly wash the Cardinals, things Dave. You're on the Christian card I show good morning are you thinking you can name that noise. Well, I cannot go to my kids. They would deftly look across the table, Mac that loud.

Now they picked a little apple fruit bearing so I'm curious. Dave overview when it when it came to your family. What was your favorite car memory being after breathing for several hours on the side of the freeway in a rest area being broken down. Be relieved from a broken car. No, I would say I would say probably many trip taken. Growing up, and then my own. We travel to several of the states across country and put a lot of miles on our card just family time in the car yes interesting thing is I just drove Illinois last week with mine with my family and the my daughter 16 and I think about how little I really get a chance to talk to Reggie you got this captive audience in the car and and they really begin to tell you things that there enjoying in school and all sorts of stuff that you really had no idea so it's it's a great time of day. God bless you and appreciate you calling women.

Okay gotta you got it through the winter. Thank you so I would came across so I got a car collection are you are you a car repair guy. I'm a lot of different things and often I can be that thou should give it a try Dave which got 2000 Honda civic and it would be guy you be driving down the road. My plan driving down the road.and last time last time it happened right after going to turn the corner and Dave take the job several times thinking no one can get it down, take a bite. Column one time it happened again. Actually, the will and started back up, where usually take 20 or 30 minutes before the car will restart and think of something in the electrical power in your car is 2000 and so was the chickens like, don't be a good guy going to matter what you doing and I I think it one of the things that you know and again it would should turn on the check engine light if it was the fuel pump pump is a kind of thing that can do that in a Bentley just the other thing that jumps out at you and that once with Colin's ignition switch itself – this is a key time if you talk like that comes the time to start over Frank's well you stay with us to go to Blakely come back we can try to work tomorrow.

Mr. and what about your your family dealt with their cars how they drove them how they enjoyed them. Having worked on 866-34-TRUTH 87884 866-34-TRUTH and when we left our hero Dave in the morning he was struggling with a 2000 Honda civic yet and it has a intermittent quantity and quality where it wants to just eyes suddenly and then after time, it returns to life and up. Jerry reminded me during the break of something that I encountered one time on BMW that was doing that and it would do it in Savannah, Georgia it would get to mile marker 17 and it would go dead every and so wait wait wait BMW literally flew a German engineer into Savannah to look at this car and he totally dissected and he spent a month with this poor man's car trying to get to figure out why it was dying at mile marker 17 and the German had the white coat on the had the salmon. He was very prideful, but he never fixed the car after a modicum of working on and so we put it out. At the time, you know, sort of a networked all the dealers to seaweed and have the Internet back then, but we put it out to all the dealers to see if anybody might know what was going on an old mechanic in Alabama called out said Robbie is anomalous and on about BMW. I said what ground straps lose and it just so happened that when there was a bump at mile marker 17 we just hit it just right. That would knock that ground strapless and at the ground strap is loose and familiar but there's a there's a wire in every card that grounds it so that everything works and so in the case of your Honda that would be definitely one thing we both agree you to check his you can look online, where the ground strap is on that particular Honda and check and make sure it's tight on both ends, because that would be something that it would do the other thing that would concern us both is that that's not lose there's a possibility.

Your computer could be going on because it's not leaving a code, and the only thing that doesn't leave a code if the computer – you know, so Melissa lost power to not know that it needed to send a code like with the ground strap or the other but the great news is Dave. We have always wonderful folks out there listening who may know exactly what's wrong your sentences. Please keep listening because if somebody else knows what's wrong with Dave car you call us 866. There's a lot of my wife will tell you Robbie has very few answers why the writing is that I asked a question that you benefit on endowed with great day. Thank you.

866-34-TRUTH 87884 866-34-TRUTH. We would love to hear your story. We have Greg is in Cary, North Carolina regular on the Christian car guys show good morning my and are you here out for one writer wrong. One day when I was about 18 back or and every time I get a right-hand turn. I would wind a little on the back door right though he started thinking that there was something wrong with our every word right, though he started turning sharper and even harder if it okay is there something wrong car have the pattern down what turned the corner right not door open, if not intermittent all 30 minute driving around our neighborhood and occasionally I would The windowsill program and I wanted you so I'm curious.

Greg, do you listen now is a sunnier father to noises in the cars that something that piques your interest. I do work on my own car.

They will break like that is so cool.

Great God bless you. Appreciate you calling so much about today. That's an awesome story.

I will remember it.

God bless you. Thanks, Jerry.

Can you imagine what you know those kind of stories my dad. You know, I can remember working for my dad and for some reason it just is something fun about teasing your dad when he gets serious on a particular issue so I know you're thinking that there's some Robbie's got a reason he's doing all this fruit root stuff and and that's really true. II had a dear friend recently suggest a video to me that I have it. Christian car guy.com Richard John and Paula Sanford with Elijah house ministries did this video on Bitterroot judgments and Bitterroot expectancies and as you may know, we we all have our roots and of course if you abide in Christ you were getting the sweet fruit of the spirit, love, joy, peace, patient kindness, but if you look out across your branches. You may find as I do in my life that there's some fruit out there that's kinda bitter and if there is a bitter fruit hanging off my branches and chances are there's a Bitterroot and often we may find that would be in our family, as if Jesus himself said so every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree. Bats bear fruit, and I mean a bad tree produces bad fruit so what.

And this was an interesting supposition.

I thought a very bold statement that the Sanford's made was that they said if you look into Deuteronomy 516 where it says honor your father and mother is the Lord God of command be that the days made that their days may be prolonged and it may go well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving what they introduce this concept that if you had bad fruit hanging on your tree out there somewhere that there's a good possibility that you have with the caller Bitterroot judgment where you know the one that they give the example of is the little girl who has a dad is a good daddy provides format, stuff but he doesn't pay her any attention. But if she wears the wrong outfit or she does some wrong he'll be quick to criticize her and so the girl begins to set up this Bitterroot judgment that might daddy doesn't really there for me emotionally. And when she does that then she begins to set up this Bitterroot expectancy that the men in my life are not can appreciate me and they're going to criticize me and so is this fruit right begins to work then they add the part which I think it's critical in Matthew 72. Jesus told us. For with the judgment you judge it will be judged in the measure you use, it will become back to you.

And so the way the Sanford's explain this, which I think is wonderful is if you take a golf ball and you throw it up against the wall at golf balls coming back to, but in the law of sowing and reaping. We know that if you reap the window and saw a whirlwind. It's like you throw one golf ball against the wall and you can get this harvested 40 golf right and so if there somewhere in your life that you're judging others you're sending out this one golf ball and you're getting back tons of golf balls with you do that with your parents. It's like a double whammy because you're dishonoring your parents budget that judgment doesn't necessarily matter what they did what were talking about is our own sin because we can't do anything about our parents, we only do stuff about how we react to it.

And if you're like me, there were a lot of places where I judge my parents and I but I did was I was sending out this golf ball and I'm reaping now throughout my life. All these hundreds of golf balls. The great news is Jesus came and in just the right time Jesus in the cross. You see, he steps in to take all that those golf balls come in on you, but you actually have to it just is not happen automatically. We need to go in and confess our sins and to be faithful and just to forgive us, but we gotta figure out where was it that I dishonored my family. Where is it that I made that judgment and I got asked Jesus to come in and begin that healing now. I posted this video it Christian car guy.com the gym and Sanford's 57 minutes, but I cannot even begin to tell you the healing that's available in all the examples they show of how these things work.

But the thing that really just grabs me that I had not realized was there is if you look in Hebrews 1215. Here's a verse that really brings this whole thing home and it says look diligently lest any man fail on the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness bring up trouble for you and there are many pedophiles in other words, my Bitterroot judgments the file. My wife, my family and so many different ways that I was not aware of these Bitterroot that I've got my own kids talk about those we got more family stories, we got more cleaning tips all, all about your day on guys show your roots very good fruit. You can look across your tree and you go all these are places I'm struggling and these are places where Lord blessed me to give good fruit, and so we've got a challenge sometimes to figure out how we abide in him in the midst of all sorts of different struggles that come our way and sometimes react in ways that we don't necessarily understand and what I was talking about in this video that that their Christian car guy.com John and Paula Sanford from Elijah house. Talk about these Bitterroot judgments and Bitterroot expectancies that if I am trying to deal with my own road rage. Is it possible that when I was watching my dad scream at the other drivers that Robbie through a golf ball in a dad that's out of line or you know in some way. I judged him and now I'm reaping this harvested golf balls and I can understand why it is that I cannot deal with my own anger.

Perhaps, perhaps, but I need some forgiveness. I need some forgiveness for my my my my own self for having made that judgment. Forgiveness for my father and and asked Jesus to come in and take those golf balls which is hard to do because you know I don't want them to take golf balls over my anger.

But the truth is it's danger and when somebody pulls in front of me. You know these things happen. Jerry about how much this is one have enough time in the show because were going to have to hog the middle of a different angle on this. The part of it is you that is the culture what you what you sow is what will we were brought episode of what was that the fiber of who we are but… You know so many times we say you to honor your mother and father in a place where sometimes the reality is honor and is just not being dishonorable is the prime example talking about here is I have a friend a spec she's 104 years old.

She's in assisted living in Davie County have known her for years and years and years on the most godly people your Everly no energy going to her room. You will see a picture of her parents and I can assure you I talked to every week and I never ever have a conversation with her that she doesn't speak well and honor her mother and father and is it any surprise that she's lived long in the land that that that there that necessarily is. However, as Jerry knows, she had very audible parents. They were very loving.

There were very supportive and it was you know it was little different situation than having an alcoholic dad or having a father that had multiple you know that he struggling so, but that the thing that I thought I could I come back to is it doesn't have to do with. I mean, I'm responsible for my sin, my dad responsible for his sin. How do I deal with mine. Make sure that I am being right with God, and those kind of things and get forgiveness where I don't so those bad seeds. I think that's clearly one place where I can go in spite of the of the issue is not all dads are not all that you noted part of it is you know what is allowing God to grow us through his experiences, I think to me that that that means a lot because there's a lot of things I've seen in life that would be easy to say well that's why there like that or you could easily fall into that pattern. But you know what I choose to let God grow me through that in this almost where I have a keen sense of some situations because I wouldn't want to be anything like that and I want to make sure that I will learn through life. You know that isn't the way it has to be. God has a better purpose for Seneca's easy ultimate father and asking him to come in and father me through this because my own father wasn't tickly, strong in this area. He did the best he could, but this was his his place again Amber is in York Pennsylvania Amber if you got a car story for some open mind. No. 08 guy called Michele Mark I on your car or car like even now a lot I want. I got and I remember one time where I can do anything I roots that bear good fruit that that sense of being important to you to dad in his importance to us and you know that's you can feel its love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, notes and stuff that comes from good roots and and and Nicole that God provided us with people in our lives. Sometimes they were stepdad. Sometimes you know they were a grandfather, something others a lot of people to the places that that RR roots. They're not necessarily are our natural parents might I might die like my family and I find it ironic, the morning crying (morning out like a light meter, right now I can hear Cheryl and Mike and I felt it.

I think I just want to pray for you right now Amber, I thank you for Amber's call and I just asked for healing for her and her family.

Obviously there's a lot of pain there but I thank you that you sent that stepfather in and I thank you that we got to hear about it today and I pray that you be glorified that people would see how you come to our rescue when it seems like there's no other way to go in and that you take a beating for us that we could abide in you and we look forward to that and I thank you again for Amber's call.

In Jesus name, amen. Thank you.

I'm so glad you called Amber's clothes never think of the wind blowing right you smell that chocolate cancer Percy yes she is right.

God bless you Amber. Thank you again and it cool how God works. You know we pray in. We pray for the show and then God provides you know some inspiration for somebody there and you might my wife had a stepdad that meant everything to her and you know it's interesting how God provides these people in our lives to take up these roles and to father's and there's just a really neat opportunity. I think for us to all go there for some healing and and when were struggling somewhere in life to asked Jesus asked the Holy Spirit why I've got a Bitterroot. Obviously I'm sucking on here and I've got a few Jerry. I'm sorry I just you know I have got them, and in so I don't want to pass those things on my own kids on God. You know, God continues to grow us in and situations and you know we sit there and we see how life unfolds, we can't always understand what God's purposes in that God is a way you know he knows he knows everything he knows what's best for us. Sometimes we just need to humble ourselves and be humble and accept his mercy and just be willing to say you know what I'm wrong sometimes.

And God has the purpose that it takes a certain amount of humility to give yourself and in many situations. That's where I find myself with that struggle. Robbie got to forgive yourself and not after all came from the mud that you have a list of the Christian card I show again, I would urge you to go to Christian Car Guy.com look at that video there on Bitterroot judgments Bitterroot expectancies and again the Jesus labor love car repair for single moms widows and families in crisis. All parts not amazing job for us this week and helping a lady in Utah with the clutch. It was amazing. So I thank God for all that. Remember, Jesus walked everywhere he went, got all done in 33 years and was so thankful that you listen to us
