A Matter of Trust

I know I had expectations in the rug. I felt like was completely pulled out from underneath myself. I've been working on for years. Just all of a sudden came undone and I like the prophet Jonah was really upset about this thing.

The older I get, the more I really appreciate Jonah. I really especially you know what is. When is no shade tree went down and he got all upset about that with you Joan. I mean I was just I got really really really upset so I prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and felt God led me to send an email to the people involved that would skim the straitness thing out for sure the email didn't get it all and you know it was in a further blow up position come Tuesday morning so I get up that morning and I am not a happy camper and I'm praying like I always do earlier email and I'm I'm in my normal but I am just flat telling Jesus look, I can relate to Jonah I know you made the the bush and you made it to give me shade that I'm just really mad about this. I mean I've got a bad copy at all admit I've got a horrible attitude this minute and and I'm having this conversation with the Lord. Maybe you've had it before. I think everybody's on ahead like I want to admit it, anyway. So there we are. And Jesus says to me as clear as I can receive this in my spirit and he said it in such a merciful way. I still can't get over it. He says Robbie do you trust me at and it was almost like immediately.

My heart grasp that word and immediately I felt better I mean, I guess because in his presence is fullness of joy I realized it came from him and and it is him saying I got this, but there was an interesting thing like almost immediately I went from is like the worst possible attitude to just feeling like okay I think are good here, but I also think that Jesus knew I would look at the word trust because do you know he does knows me and he knows that I would go deep and I would try to figure out what's going on here so interesting about this is the on interestingly unifying the word trust come up and Ruth in the book of Ruth chapter 2 verse 12 and end the word in Hebrew is Hadassah, which is actually spelled with a CH got them out save the seas are like Casa and that word in Hebrew has everything to do with the wedding. And if you look at this Casa word. It starts with the letter pet which is also spelled with a C chat but it's pronounced And that letter is one of the coolest lemming all cool letters but let me just it's a Zion, which is sort of a male energy and evolve, which is sort of female energy and they put a wedding hoopla over the top of those two letters and you've heard me talk about Hooper's before that if you go to Judy Jewish wedding always can see the soup so the letter that starts the word trust is a wedding hoopla is his marriage means life for me this is awesome with the second letter nearly took my breath when I began to this was like some I didn't ever want to go estate that will that second letter, which is this America, I think, is how it's pronounced. It looks like a ring. It looks like a Simple Cir. in Hebrew, but the word itself. Number one, it has a number associated to it of 15 will get to that in a minute but it means medicine. It means unity. It means trust at and so I'm sitting there going.

You know, as a picture of a wedding you know and the unity that's involved. You know all those things so you got this hoopla and then you have this wedding ring and this and this word trust.

So, Eddie. Eddie ever thought about how much marriage has to do a trust and and oh by the way were to marry Jesus so you will start to picture what's going on here. It's kind important that you trust him. And the third letter is is ahead. One way back and then there was one with the guys name anyway so yeah Mason Leah Mason and then there was this the latest one that was the musical. But in that movie. If you ever watched that one of the key people in that movie is the Bishop and so recently I decided I wanted to read the book you know if this this things are based on the book so let me actually read the book Les Miserables and how fun is that. So what I discovered is if you read the book. My favorite character in the whole thing which is this you know Bishop. What a story.

I mean, I'll give you all the back story in the sky.

They don't give you what was really going on there. But this guy actually was based after a real live bishop and and what happened was that his family was hunted down after the French Revolution because they were in Parma to the he was a parliamentarian or whatever they call it. And so you know they were getting a guillotine and so these families were hunted down. Everything was taken away from their families and and this guy was sent off to exile with his parents being kill, lost everything and so he becomes a priest and he becomes a better and better and better priest until one day actually meets Napoleon and them holy and so impressed with the student that he promotes him to the Bishop of this area were we later find them in the in the movie.

Okay now when he gets there. Heat heat he's put in a castle like a bishops a big deal if you're in the cafeteria may give him this big huge castle and in its got room for nano all these people to just three of him no and he goes next door and there's a hospital in this hospital, which is just this little bitty building. He counts like 28 people and so you calls the got the head guy on the hospital out at and says how many people in your hospital in a civil there's there's 26 maybe 28 and goes less what I counted. But there's a lot of them in the hall and there's no air in the hall and that's just horrible for people that are sick and he rather sit in the dining room of his castle in a civil look around my right right in this room.

How many beds you think would fit in this room and he goes all 30 beds because I how many do you think would fit my whole house here they said all I don't know about maybe 60 or 70 beds and he said let's just do this let's just trade houses. I and and and and he gives this whole castle to the hospital and he goes and moves into the hospital to get the picture and and and their story after story of this there's there's actually three or four chapters may be more than active and got it all on the on the on the works of this Bishop and and what a person of grace he was and how he would finagle the French government in order to get money to get people out of debtors jail and he would he would find somebody even if they were to be guillotine and he would spend the night with him and he would lead them to Christ and it is this was a truly amazing amazing man and as I was reading all this, I was just thinking man. You know how would you like to be remembered for stuff like that right.

This guy had a phenomenal glory that was long before John goes on and him and again it was based. After Victor Hugo basted after a true God and so I couldn't help but just think about that is this week we had all these opportunities with the with the Jesus labor lovingly with singular car repair, single moms and widows.

I gotta tell you, when you hear these stories and I'm sure if you've met a minute that you just go like oh my gosh God, but without the more I thought about what was going on. But he he stays with the man all night long. He prays with the man all night long. The next morning when they take into the guillotine. The man's countenance is completely different because he knows that he's fixed to go be with Jesus right heat.

He's no longer terrified, but that that that that literally the bishop is walking with them loving on this man all the way to the guillotine yeah yeah wow how many situations in my life this week. You know what I or that what I sense that Jesus is telling me you're right you don't need to do that II that's that's that's got has this for me and and and just step through whatever the wall is stuff is that your you know facing and going on and you know speaking of water that needs to be parted. Here's a Jesus labor love request I got this week my veteran Marine husband has tried to kill himself, and is been in and out of the hospital for multiple times and now will be in for a long stay were struggling with one income, which is now just his VA retirement and he is no longer working after the rent is paid. There is not much else left to pay anything, my van, check engine light is on and I took the shop and paid a diagnostic fee there something wrong with selenide's and the transmission. Okay that's not inexpensive.

This is this is the only family vehicle. We have without it. I can even get my kids to school, appointments, emergencies, grocery shopping, etc. and you know sad that that and I think while she's a veteran's wife. You know when he's certainly the government of the United States a regular like Isabella said, God's going Riley. Oh, this came to you. This is in your lap right at the end it's it's in my lap with all of us right that that he God wants to do something for her. But what's my part in that I did you know events to some you got asking there's another one. My family has two autistic children and between my husband and I we have to cars but only one battery that works and were switching the battery between the two cars and now it's gone.

The alternate is bad and one of the cars and my husband is watching the children to school so we can use the one car that we can finally get started after he jumped off to get to work behind on our water bills are power bills and it's getting colder it you know it's just like wow it is in some ways Jerry and Mike, thank you God that that that that I'm not blind is stuff that's going on out there. I mean, you know you read about the stuff that that the bishop was going on in in in France at the time, but oh my gosh we have all this going on right now and it's right you know you know how honored are we that we get a chance to pray for these people on at that are hurting, you know it use you read that in you, you get those request and an budgeted Jesus labor love that we just know people out there. Sometimes we let it overwhelm us, because we don't understand what God how God can work through SN and most time. We just need to be an open vessel enough you you you get those stories and can help just just touch your heart and you and you heartwarming one you got it parents with with with kids that are on our struggle and then you get a veteran. This came back and served this country in an struggling in a in the almost saying it's easy to say what you know what is it that has bigger problems than me.
