Psalms 119:149 Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

How cool is it that the Psalmist asks God to Judge Him - naturally he hedges that with according to your loving kindness. This is an amazing knowledge available in Christ. The truth about yourself. Plus I share my own story along these lines

This is the Truth Network treasurers of the hundred and 19.

How amazing is knowledge. First section that we study today. Mind it is spectacular and when you think about this knowledge goes again were talking about the anointing from Isaiah 11 as we go through the seven verses that we have to do the call for the eighth one being the miracle first and so you have the anointing's of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might fear the Lord and the light of the fear the Lord, but so today we get to the knowledge and what a precious knowledge that is so will read it in English verse 149 hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness overlord quickened me according to thy judgment. And so when you look at that it is extremely intimate discussion that has to do with that in each verse in the hundred 19 Psalm you know if it's in each section is to start with the letter of that section and so the word that starts this verse is the word here and the idea of the cuff. Of course being this idea of closeness to God in both time and space and so when you think about it when you have somebody to hear you have to be in present time, and then obviously the government close enough to hear so he says, hear my voice.

He's he's actually asking God is a very intimate thing, hear my voice. According to thy lovingkindness and again set them up to an extent.

You can ask him something really difficult but here is actually acknowledging how loving God is. Before asking the question is asking when you think about what he asked them to do it.

It's pretty remarkable because what he then says is quickened me according to thy judgment.

You know he's saying that make me alive, essentially through the tests. In other words, in order to have a testimony. You know God's gonna put you through the testing through the judgment process at the refining process and so if you're familiar with refining it takes a lot of heat to get rid of the draws, especially in my case and apparently it took quite a bit in King David's as well and so here is it he's he saying here me Lord, this is what I want. I know you're doing it according to your lovingkindness, but I want you to put me through the refining process which we realize is going to be painful. It was extremely painful for King David and just the intimacy of this in the it's just amazing to me what he asked for and so you may go.

Robbie was this have to do with knowledge was everything to do with knowledge give knowledge from a biblical standpoint and from the standpoint of of Isaiah 11 is an eyewitness to the truth okay so is asking what King David is asking this phenomenal question was to be an eyewitness to the truth of his own testimony right that of the to his own way that God work through him in order to shine brightly at the eyewitness about the truth about ourselves right and so you know is we are judged. Obviously we get to see you know the truth about ourselves. As I mentioned the other day I was driving on the beach from from the beach with my wife which was recently there was a couple days that I didn't do these. And as I was coming home from the beach. I had the guy asked me that's all the same question of my wife.

According to your lovingkindness.

You know when we're going through these points in my life where I was driven.

I worked all the time when I was in the car business. I would literally leave it sometimes. At five in the morning and not get home after midnight and I was being such a workaholic and lasted you know what was I like back in those days and she said you are a jerk.

I couldn't help but think that you know something about that this morning like oh my goodness. Here was the unvarnished truth about how I was behaving as as a result of many wounds that I experienced in my life trying to be the great man.

My father was an insect it's gonna make the thing that you got people in your life that you can ask this question ignored your lovingkindness occurs. You gotta have something that you really trust to tell you, you know the truth about how you really are.

The truth about how you're really acting but there's nothing like asking God because God will put you through the test writing is gonna show them who they really are a show the Jews when they were in the desert and look they were running out of water, you know, here's who you are.

He showed Moses you know when Miriam died, and he could no longer get water from Miriam's wet all of a sudden the hippest you know the whole deal. He showed Moses who he was. He showed King David who he was. Even showed Paul who he was. I mean think about it in his lovingkindness, though, is the way that this happens.

And so as we like how precious how precious is the truth about ourselves when we rip off the mask and we get naked in know what's the unvarnished truth about our character and here you know is this beautiful understanding on me. What knowledge would that be how valuable would that be if you're going to really work on becoming more like Christ, you need to know where you're not like chip off the rough edges.

If you're like me, probably got plenty of so you know what a beautiful beautiful verse one thing to understand when it comes to holiness because again, this knowledge will help you get in man. I enjoy studying it
